Red's Lobster Pot Restaurant is a beloved seafood destination nestled along the picturesque waterfront of Point Pleasant. This charming eatery captures the essence of coastal dining with its cozy indoor space and spacious outdoor patio, perfect for enjoying stunning views while savoring fresh catches. Known for its delectable offerings, Red's serves an impressive selection of classic seafood dishes, including raw oysters, clams, and their renowned lobster mac and cheese.
This is a fun place! Who doesn't like sitting waterside in Point Pleasant eating seafood. The atmosphere is most typically, surf side dining, nothing fancy and Very clean, very clean. Inside or outside dining is just what you need after a day on the beach. All staff is friendly and helpful. The food is not to he overlooked though. We had fried clams ( not typical, more elevated in taste and freshness, cold lobster rolls were wonderful and the Cesar salad was delicious. Flat iron steak special was amazing and their typical fair - steamed muscles, clams, garlic bread and others Don't disappoint. Desert -banana cream pie, key lime you name it 😋. The watermelon cocktail was fresh and delicious. Highly suggest reservations!

Treated to lunch and although I do not eat shellfish, I do enjoy fish & chips. My sister and daughter ordered the calamari and clam strips, lobster and shrimp roll, salad to share. For dessert we tried the Banana cream pie and the key lime pie. Red’s was busy and we did have a reservation. We were seated and waited 30+ minutes for the salad and clam strips and calamari to arrive. The salad was delicious and fresh. My sister and daughter gave the clam strips and calamari an 8 out of 10. Lobster and shrimp rolls & fish and chips for me. The cod was fresh and I did enjoy the fish. The fries were hot and fresh. The side of coleslaw was cold and crisp. The banana cream pie was delicious and rich; the key lime was light and not too sweet. This was a pleasant treat and if you love seafood, Red’s is for you.

Red's Lobster Pot is another great seasonal seafood restaurant in Point Pleasant that I am glad I got a chance to try out before they close for the season next month. The service and food here is fantastic. I was lucky to get a table at lunchtime as it looked busy. Gina was my server and she was so friendly and attentive. I opted to sit outside on the deck and you get such a nice view of the water and the boats going back and forth. I went with the lobster bisque (even though it was hot outside) and the lobster ravioli main course. Both were delicious and had great flavor. I loved the atmosphere of this place and the staff stays on top of making sure everything is clean. They have a good menu and everything is reasonably priced. They also have a decent sized parking lot as well. One thing to note for myself is as I was eating I saw so many lobster roll orders passing me that I know the next time I come I have to try it. All in all I definitely recommend checking this place out!

After not being here for nearly 10 years I was excited to come back on father's day with my family. My past experience was amazing although I dont quite remember what I had I do remember it being the phenomenal! Today we ordered Lobster Bisque, Shrimp Cocktail which were too notch and then had stuffed lobster tails for son(check that MP first lol!) Blackened grouper sandwich for me, and wife had coconut shrimp all 5/5 and we are huge foodies and are quite experienced in eating !! Dessert we had the homemade key lime pie which didn't disappoint either!!
Blair S — Google review
We arrived at Red's Lobster Pot around 12 pm on a weekday, and the place was mostly empty. However, they had just opened up. The place quickly filled up. The fried calamari appetizer was very tender, and I ordered the battered fish and chips as my main course. It's not like what you get in London but it was tasty. The service was good, we chose to sit outside and had a great view of the marina, and they had a small parking lot. If I recall correctly, reservations are recommended, especially for the evening.
Ann L — Google review
Reds Lobster Pot was fantastic in every aspect. Despite being a busy Sunday evening we were seated prior to our reservation, given exceptional service, and served fantastic food. Our server, Jeanna, was incredibly attentive, witty, and fun despite being very busy. Chris is also another surprise, giving suggestions and just making the entire experience feel personal. I also want to give credit to every member of the staff who took plates, filled water, and performed other tasks that are often overlooked. Everyone was fast and pleasant, going far beyond the normal service provided at most restaurants. The food was amazing, served at the perfect pace, and abundant in portions. The view (as you will see) was the final touch. Can't wait to come back again, this is one of the best beach dining experiences in New Jersey and can't be missed.
John M — Google review
(1st time there was amazing) they sat us at the “VIP TABLE” A little bit of a wait (1 hour 30 minutes) but well worth it in my opinion - the surf and turf was delicious and the lobster was cooked very well. One of the better surf and turf’s around (way better than shrimp box with regard to a surf/turf) my girlfriend got the fish & chips and she loved it. Would certainly try again. - went there a week later with my parents because I was wowed with the food/service and unfortunately they messed up my mother’s steak. She asked for medium rare filet mignon but when it arrived on the plate it was barely cooked (we like red meat but this was borderline raw) we politely sent it back for it to come out minutes later with a char on the outside almost looking well done but unfortunately it didn’t look much different on the inside (still raw) from the first time they brought the steak out. From my own experience I can’t say they are consistent, but I’m Hoping this was a one time mistake as the cost of good quality food has risen.
Ronald L — Google review
August night without a reservation, so the wait was over an hour, which was understandable given the season. The staff was very friendly and welcoming once we got seated. The lobster rolls were tasty, though served on a hot dog bun (not the best we’ve ever had, but still enjoyable). Overall, it was a fun experience, and while it’s probably a one-and-done visit for us, it’s definitely worth trying if you’re in the area.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, The Poached Pear Bistro is a stylish haven for food enthusiasts seeking an upscale dining experience. This BYOB fine-dining gem offers a delightful array of American cuisine, reimagined with innovative twists that elevate familiar favorites. From fresh salads and hearty entrees to decadent desserts like their signature riesling-poached pear with rice pudding, every dish is crafted to tantalize your palate.
I cannot express how amazing this restaurant is! The food, the ambiance, the service, it’s spectacular. I absolutely loved the garlic shrimp and the fish special (I forgot the name of the dish) but it was packed with flavors. It included risotto, shrimp, artichokes and tomatoes. It was one of the best seafood dish I’ve ever had. I also recommend the chocolate cookie dessert. It had chocolate fudge inside and vanilla gelato on top. It was the perfect dessert to end our meal. I highly recommended this restaurant. I’m already looking forward to going back!
Jess K — Google review
Never heard of this restaurant until recently and when I brought it up around friends; they raved. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint. From the apps to dessert, everything was absolutely delicious. Our steaks were incredibly tender and flavorful. Give this place a try. I will definitely make a trip back. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary memorable.
Sean J — Google review
We visited The Poached Pear Bistro and started with the mushroom soup special and the corn chowder—both flavorful and well-seasoned. For the mains, we had the scallops and the lamb shank special, and both were excellent. The ambience and menu felt classic and inviting, and the food was thoughtfully prepared. Our waitress, Kris, was wonderful—she described the specials so well that everything sounded tempting.
Michelle H — Google review
The food was superb. We had mushroom bisque, and the chef is an absolute master at soups. Utter perfection. I had the crab cakes, and my wife had the fish special (Corvina), and honestly we were so blown away by the bisque, we dove right into the entrees, forgetting to take pictures. We're so thankful we found this restaurant, and will be back until we get through the entire menu. Seriously, the food is absolutely superb! Not one issue, not one complaint. The dining room was a bit noisy, but there does seem to be a secondary seating area that seems a bit quieter. We'll try for that next time. Regardless, the food is phenomenal, and it's nice to have a restaurant of this caliber local to us. Wishing them years of success!
Scott M — Google review
My family had an amazing dinner at this restaurant. The atmosphere is very nice, a little noisy when busy but nothing too bad. The wait staff were very courteous and quick. We got their brined pork chop, their new York strip steak, halibut and spatzle dish. They were all phenomenal. The pork chop was falling off the bone to perfection, the mashed potatoes are seasoned and pureed very well. The halibut was very flavorful and the spatzle dish was also impressive. My dish was the new York strip which was cooked perfectly - medium rare, the sauce it came with complemented it very well and the vegetables were also seasoned and cooked impeccably. The only down side is we are not local to this restaurant so we cannot come here on a frequent basis. Otherwise we would!
Raven L — Google review
Ordered the $60 NY Strip medium rare, it came out medium well. It was tender but way overcooked, that should never happen. I ate it because I did t have time to send it back. Owner did the right thing by taking it off my bill, but I wud have preferred to pay for a steak properly cooked as I ordered. Cardinal rule for a steak is never overcook it. Waiter also was in a rush, very curt, I know they were busy. Overall, very disappointing for a highly regarded restaurant
Joseph S — Google review
I’m not sure exactly how to review this. We were there to entertain friends. My friend’s food was delicious. Here was my problem. They had 5-6 daily special entrees that the waiter explained (not written to read). It was so fast I was confused. So I stuck to the menu. I ordered the veal…HUGE mistake. Have you ever reheated leftover steak in the microwave, it’s overcooked and chewy. That’s exactly how this veal was. It was buried in gravy and mushrooms, but it didn’t help. And for $39, It was terrible. If we hadn’t been with guests, I might have sent it back, but didn’t want to make a scene. I ate about 1/3 of my dish and pretended to be full. Took the rest home, but will definitely throw it away. This was my first time at this place, but heard so many good reviews. Not sure I would go back.
Doug L — Google review
This place is a gem! Every single dish everyone got in my party of four was absolutely outstanding. All the compliments to the chef! Make a reservation because this place became completely booked up within an hour or so of our seating.

Nestled at the Jersey Shore, The Ark Pub & Eatery is a charming and unpretentious spot that invites you to unwind in its cozy atmosphere. With rustic decor, wooden plank floors, and even a small fireplace, it feels like a home away from home. The menu boasts an array of delicious bar bites and seafood entrees made with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.
They aren’t lying when they claim to have the top rated burger in New Jersey. The port wine cheese burger is absolutely perfect. It’s pretty rare to go to a restaurant and the chef cooks your burger to a perfect medium rare. I will never stop coming to this place and eating this burger. If you’re looking for the best burger in the state, try the port wine cheese burger
Chris — Google review
Well, I have to agree with the rest.. the port wine cheese burger is unbelievable. It's so good I went out of my way to get it a second time. Fries are good, and they actually have a very good French onion soup... and im very very critical and picky when it comes to French onion soup
Andy A — Google review
Excellent burger in a classic (dark, cozy, well-worn) pub type setting. Good beer selection and plenty of menu variety. We have to go back to try something else, but we can vouch for the burgers!
Jay V — Google review
I've been coming here since the 80s. Always been good. Until this visit. I ordered shrimp scampi. Came out with no garlic at all. Pasta tasted like lemon juice and was overcooked. Horrible! The server made an excuse that people complained that they had too much garlic so they backed off on it. Seriously, if you don't like heavy garlic, don't order scampi. Had drunken clams which were ok. The broth was a little weak but I enjoyed the clams. Service was sketchy as usual. Was a Monday night and the place was fairly empty. Servers gathered at a table hanging out instead of checking on the tables they had. Did not stay as our visit was lacking.
Fred P — Google review
Called about their lobster roll which is advertised on their sign. I asked if it was a whole lobster in a roll to which they said no. They informed me it’s a mixture of mayo and lobster with some veggies, I asked them if the mixture is mostly filler or mostly chunk lobster meat and they told me it’s almost entirely made of chunk lobster meat. When I opened my lobster roll I was immediately disappointed. This absolutely not chunk lobster meat (not a single chunk present). It is largely made up of potato chunks (which I’m assuming are there to imitate chunks of lobster) and cucumber chunks. The lobster meat it has is shredded lobster meat, and low quality shredded lobster meat for that matter. Waste of 21$

May be my new favorite spot ! Food was great and hot . Great flavors! Had the specials and he had the infamous burger! The carrot cake was to die for ! And the martinis were perfect . Nothing bad to say ! Can’t wait to go back
Diamond T — Google review
The Old Bay shrimp were delicious- butter and Old Bay bring the flavor in these 5 pieces of shrimp appetizer. The port wine cheese burger is out of control- plenty of port wine cheese, sautéed onions, bbq sauce. I like their fries, too. I sprinkled on some Old Bay seasoning. My blueberry vodka mule was very good.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Ark Pub. They have a great menu with something for everyone. We had a friendly helpful waiter who came over multiple times to check on us even though they were really busy. I had put my leftover food in a takeaway container. But forgot to bring it. We were walking to our car (parked across the street) when Sean our waiter came running out with it! He even insisted on crossing the street to bring it! That's service above and beyond. Much appreciated.

The Shrimp Box & Outside The Box Patio Bar is a long-standing waterfront restaurant with a charming nautical ambiance and outdoor seating. Overlooking the picturesque Manasquan River, it offers a delightful experience of savoring seafood and cocktails while enjoying the sunset. The interior exudes a friendly and comforting atmosphere, adorned with maritime elements. This over 75-year-old establishment, once a commercial fishing dock, now serves an array of delectable seafood dishes at competitive prices.
I ate here about 10 years ago. I came back tonight with my wife. It was outstanding!! From the food, to the service, to the prices , to portions ,to view, to bathrooms, there was nothing disappointing. Incredible service, their whole team is customer focused. Whomever owns and manages this restaurant, i salute you. I have to give you 5 stars all around. We will be back.

My husband and I had a beautiful moment at The Shrimp Box. This restaurant is so chill and relax. The fresh seafood at reasonable prices were served by very nice and attentive server. The good view of Cooks Creek in Point Pleasant Beach made our lunch even more special. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who wants to slow down and appreciate the good things in life. We love it!❤️

My server, Olivia, was amazing! She was incredibly attentive and made our meal even better. The food was spectacular — this is actually our second time here in just one week because we enjoyed it so much. We also had beautiful views of the water, which made the whole experience extra special. The environment is definitely an A+. I strongly recommend The Shrimp Box to anyone looking for great food at a fair price with a gorgeous view. We’ll definitely be back!

Great spot on the water to grab some lunch or dinner! The menu is excellent, full of yummy seafood options. They had everything from shrimp tacos to fancy surf and turf dinners. So whatever vibe your going for, they can provide. The outside patio overlooking the water and boats is gorgeous. And out server Paige was excellent, fast and friendly as well. Its a bummer that their happy hour specials are for inside only because of course everyone wants to sit outside.
Jessica Z — Google review
Great experience! We enjoyed a delicious meal on the patio with water and boat views. Our server was attentive and our food arrived promptly - hot and looking amazing. We ordered appetizers, the special clam bake and the house salad with pretzel clustered calamari. All were fresh and weather serving generous. Great way to start a vacation!

Thursday lunch (Sunset Dinner) at The Shrimp Box and had a wonderful afternoon! The waterfront location was awesome!. I ordered the ‘The Trio’- shrimp, scallops & flounder, which was so flavorful and fresh along with an app of Clams Casino. My partner got the Chicken Parm (they’re not a big seafood fan). But found it surprisingly well presented and cooked to perfection. Both meals came with soup or salad and dessert. Portions were generous! That salad was great but just a bit too much dressing.. Service was friendly, and attentive. Even a surprise check- in by the manager who asked how everything was! Prices are fair for quality seafood. All in all we’re glad we tried The Shrimp Box out! It’s a great spot for fresh seafood and a relaxed water view. Will be back next time I’m in Point Pleasant!!!!

Lovely place on the water in Point Pleasant. Excellent food in cozy clean restaurant. It feels familiar and comfortable but not old because of the remodeling. Nice view of the water if you get a table along the wall. Experienced kitchen with lots of good dishes at affordable prices for fresh seafood. Crab cakes are excellent. Scallops and salmon, fried shrimp all great. Carrot cake is great. Would like to visit again next time I'm up there. Parking lot can be a bit challenging, even though they have two. It can get very busy during peak times and season.

The Shrimp Box is a great spot right next to Point Pleasant Beach, perfect for a summer outing with family or visitors. We tried the Sunset Diner Menu, which was a great deal and included soup or salad, a fresh seafood entrée, dessert, and a drink. Our group had golden fried shrimp, flounder, fish and chips, stuffed salmon, and lobster, everything was fresh and delicious. Great food, generous portions, and a beautiful waterfront setting. Definitely worth checking out for a relaxed, memorable meal by the shore!

Nestled in the charming Point Pleasant Beach, Spike's Fish Market & Restaurant is a delightful seafood haven that has been captivating locals and visitors alike since 1926. This classic eatery offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can savor casual seafood favorites like their renowned lobster rolls and rich clam chowder. The menu emphasizes fresh, non-fried seafood options, ensuring a wholesome dining experience. If you're not in the mood to dine in, you can still enjoy the freshest catches by visiting their fish market.
The place is really nice and quaint. It's got a fisherman coming back from out to sea. Kind of feel everybody's really kind and knowledgeable about the food. The service was great and the server was attentive and quick. The food was extremely fresh. All seafood never fried. I mean you got the doc and the fishing boats right out back. It doesn't get any fresher than that The food is very well. Seasoned cooked perfectly and again fresh. I will certainly be returning here. I highly suggest you give this place a go. You certainly won't be disappointed.

Great food at a reasonable price. Warm and cozy atmosphere. I highly recommend. This is a byob and not a high end restaurant which is what gives it charm. The pies after dinner are all homemade and delicious.

Perfect beach-feel seafood spot! Crack crabs, BYOB and freshest shrimp and lobster tail. The corn on the cob was amazing. We enjoyed the clams along with NE clam chowder. Amazing! Can't wait to return.
Colleen P — Google review
This is definitely a local favorite. When I stepped through the door, I felt like I was in one of those long-lost seafood shacks along the Jersey shore. They had the best food… and SO DOES SPIKES. I stopped for lunch. The Flounder francaise peaked my interest. And, of course, I had to try the New England Clam Chowder. Both were delicious. The flounder melted in my mouth and the clam chowder was packed with clams in a rich, creamy broth. The portions were perfect and the prices very reasonable. My waitress, Callie, was friendly and accurate with my order. Not a long wait and the food was steaming hot. (Thank you, Callie.) If I lived closer, this would be my favorite seafood restaurant.
Peg M — Google review
The food was bland. Ordered a broiled seafood combo and raw oysters and clams, which I think gave me a stomach ache later that day. The shrimp was dry as a rock and fish and pasta had very little flavor. The coffee tasted like strong/spoiled black tea. The service was good, however. The prices are above average.
Artem E — Google review
I was in the area today and saw this fish market near the water and figured I'd give it a try. I thought I would experience great fresh seafood. I'm sorry but this place did not live up to my expectations. I ordered a broil seafood combo. Baked potato corn in the cob . Appetizer little neck clams on a half shell. Lams were so little you could hardly taste or see them! Scrimp was hard and way too over cooked. Scallops were really under Cooked. Flounder was ok but didn't taste like fresh flounder! Corn on cob was cold and completely tasteless! I give this place a low Rating. I don't even know what number to give it. Never again!
Jean P — Google review
I'm officially a fan. I was in town for a funeral. I wanted seafood (as always) so I decided to check out Spikes based on the reviews. The dinner was great! Oysters & clams on the half were fantastic. The lobster bisque is amazing. Most importantly the staff could not have been nicer. The oyster shucker Mike is a gem. As a manager of people, I can tell you Mike has something that cannot be taught. He genuinely cares about his customers and it shows. Thanks for the great dinner. I'll be back!

Nestled just a stone's throw from the shimmering waters of Point Pleasant Beach, Daniel's Bistro is an intimate dining gem that captures the essence of American cuisine with a delightful twist of French influence. This charming eatery prides itself on using locally sourced ingredients, ensuring each dish bursts with fresh flavors and seasonal goodness. The cozy yet elegant atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for couples seeking a romantic evening out or anyone looking to indulge in high-quality fare.
WOW! First time here. What a surprise, a good friend of my wife recommended we try out her restaurant. When we arrived, parking was perfect, and we walked in to find an intimate setting, just the kind of atmosphere we love, relaxing, well-maintained, and with a bright, cheerful, and accommodating hostess. The staff were the best. Right on point and knew exactly what they were doing and when. As for the food, well, it was scrumptious, a word I seldom use. The chef sent us soup with bruschetta. I ordered the Tuna Tower appetizer, one of my favorites, and it came with a generous portion. Guests had the Ceaser salad enough to split. I was expecting everything to be a gourmet-sized portion, but to my surprise, it was most generous. I had the seafood Fra diavolo cooked to perfection, and the sauce was to die for. I tried to avoid bread, but I couldn't leave the wonderful sauce behind. My wife and guest both ordered the Barramundi seafood dish and loved every bite; it was fantastic. We ended our dinner with a tableside Berries Flambe. What a way to go. Bring your favorite wine, and you are set for an evening you won't be disappointed with, as well as the price. We can’t wait to come back. Great job Chef Bass. Five Stars. Brew & Yvonne

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! Chef Bass’s hospitality was second to none—warm, genuine, and truly made us feel like honored guests. The lobster tail was the star of the evening: perfectly cooked, buttery, and bursting with flavor. Every bite was unforgettable. The wait staff was incredibly attentive without being intrusive—always anticipating our needs and ensuring our glasses were never empty. From the ambiance to the service and, of course, the exceptional food, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you Chef Bass, Kim, and crew. I cannot wait to return!!!

The food is excellent with the freshest ingredients, creatively-presented, and the quality of each dish is five star gourmet. Everything we ordered was prepared to perfection. We enjoyed this dining experience so much and would highly recommend Daniel’s Bistro to anyone who loves food, great ambiance, fine service and feeling right at home in this exquisite venue.

Disappointed at our last visit to the Bistro. We've been going to this restaurant for years, ever since they had two locations on Broadway. Our server's name was Casey. The only time that we interacted with her was in the beginning for the order and at the end for the bill. The gentlemen that brought out the bread, cleaned off the table, refilled the water, and brought out the food were much more pleasant and professional. We expected more from our server at this type of high-end restaurant, as there is plenty of competition in the Point Pleasant Beach area. We'll think twice before returning to the Bistro.

Point Lobster Co is a casual seafood spot that has been serving Maine lobster and traditional seafood for over 30 years. In addition to fresh lobster, they offer a variety of options including shrimp, crab, fish, and scallops. The restaurant also provides take-out service and outdoor seating. Customers have praised the delicious lobster bisque, New England clam chowder, and hot lobster roll.
I first tried their lobster roll at a recent seafood festival in Belmar, and I was blown away instantly. I had to make sure that I made this place one of my first stops during my little Jersey Shore getaway this past weekend. This place is a seafood market and restaurant. The restaurant part is a bit small with limited seating. They have a good-sized menu and food here is a bit costly, but it is so worth it. I got the lobster roll with fries, and everything was fantastic. The fries alone had great flavor and a real kick to them. The hot lobster roll was just as great as the one I had a week before. The staff here is really nice, the service is quick and the establishment is clean. The only thing is that they don't serve alcohol. I definitely recommend as I rate their lobster roll as the best in the Jersey Shore!

Fast friendly service with great food. We got the swordfish bites, which were cooked perfectly. Blackened Fish and shrimp tacos, which had a great sauce on them. Clam chowder could have been a bit warmer but was still delicious. Great aesthetic and vibe.

We stopped here to get some appetizers and to try their Maine lobster roll. They have a cute little indoor room and the windows were open on a beautiful afternoon. The service was good and the waitress friendly. We got the mozzarella sticks and the swordfish bites, which were both great. However, the lobster roll, as others have said, left little to be desired. It might be the most pathetic looking lobster roll I’ve ever had, and really had no flavor to boot. That was unfortunate and very disappointing, as that was the main reason for our visit.

I got 2 lobster rolls for $60. Worst lobster rolls I have ever had. For 30 bucks I would expect somthing gourmet with butter and garnish. The rolls I got had no butter no seasoning and were served on a soggy hotdog bun. The lobster was very chewy as well. They contained bits of shell in them too. I've gotten lobster rolls SO much better for 10 dollars cheaper at other places. I went back for a refund and was reimbursed.

We were greeted by a kind & welcoming hostess, and we were sat inside. We ordered the tuna nachos, lobster bisque and two hot lobster rolls. The food was very very fresh and delicious. I really like the texture of the wontons and the lobster roll Knocked my socks off.

Glass or some hard plastic in the soup. Very disappointed. We had lunch outside it was very nice. We ordered a soup from the fresh market to enjoy on our ride back home. Found what looks like a small chard of glass or possibly hard plastic in the soup. We left about 15 mins ago but this is not okay. If it’s in this batch we wouldn’t want a replacement but we definitely should be issued a refund.

Absolutely amazing! Everything was fresh. The crab rangoon mozzarella sticks are unique and delicious! Definitly recommended!

The food and the atmosphere was great. The lobster roll is amazing, I think the best! The Lobster Mac and Cheese was really good. Shrimp were good but over fried for my preference. The place is small but cozy and cute. The service was was good. They have dining out with around 8 sets of table with chairs to seat. Would come back🙂

Spano's Ristorante Italiano is a bustling BYO spot in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, offering traditional Italian seafood, meat, and pasta dishes. It's known for its authentic flavors and hearty portions. The restaurant is popular among locals and visitors alike, often having a wait due to its popularity. Their signature dish is the Stuffed Rigatoni, filled with creamy ricotta and topped with rich marinara sauce.
The service was awesome and the people who worked our table gave us special attention as they did bring everything to the table hot and fast! The servings were amazing a family style large!! Our meal was delicious with great flavor. We had appetizers, salad, entree and dessert. Many thanks to the staff that works so hard for the community.

This was our first time trying Spanos! I’ll start with the pros, the food was absolutely delicious, portion size was well worth the money, everything was fresh, and the owner complimentary gave us many appetizers. Probably gave them to us, because of their very mid service. Not sure if it was because it was Sunday, but 30 minutes to seat 2 people who had reservations was absolutely crazy! Our waitress was good at times, but she took over 10 minutes to get us the bill. Overall we would definitely go back on a day other than Sunday. I highly recommend this restaurant, you absolutely must try their seafood colossal ravioli!

My family has been lucky enough to try Spano’s years ago and my parents have gone back EVERY week since. There is a reason for that - hostesses and waitresses that make you feel like family, AMAZING Italian food with portions that will keep you full for a week, and most of all Joe Spano himself. He personally greets every table and makes it well known that he is happy you decided to share your meal with him and the rest of his crew, doing what he clearly loves! Please do yourself a favor and check out Spano’s…. I promise you will not regret it. Seriously the best Italian food!!

This may possibly be one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to! Joe Spano himself is a good guy and knows how to run a business! Everything that was given to us was amazing and tasted so fresh! Their pastas are handmade so you know you are eating good quality food! I was told many times to try their chicken parm and it did not disappoint! Their sauce is chefs kiss and may be the best I’ve had right next to my own mother’s! You do have to make a reservation as they get pretty packed but the wait is definitely worth it! You won’t be disappointed!

If you’re in Point Pleasant and craving hearty Italian food, Spano’s Ristorante Italiano is the spot locals will point you to and for good reason. It is a beloved neighborhood favorite that serves up huge portions of authentic, flavorful Italian dishes at a very fair price. The pasta dishes are outstanding, fresh, perfectly cooked, and paired with sauces that taste like they came straight out of an Italian kitchen. The appetizers are just as impressive, with plenty of options that are great for sharing at the table. Between the portion sizes and the quality, you are guaranteed to leave full and likely with a takeout container in hand. The atmosphere is warm and lively with that classic Italian family restaurant feel. The service is attentive and friendly, and even when the place is packed, the staff keeps things moving with efficiency and a smile. If there is one area where Spano’s falls a little short, it is the desserts. The chocolate cannoli and cheesecake were fine, but compared to the rest of the meal, they did not stand out. Honestly, you are better off indulging in another round of pasta or appetizers instead. Overall, Spano’s is one of the best Italian restaurants in the area. It is a place where you get massive portions of delicious, homestyle Italian food for a moderate price. Just go hungry, skip dessert, and enjoy everything else this local favorite has to offer.
Rob B — Google review
Girlfriend and I were visiting from Dallas and my brother in law made reservations here. So glad he did. We had to wait about 35 minutes after our reservation time but we got a great table and Joe Spano immediately brought over a bunch of appetizers for our wait. It was an incredible display of customer service! Everything tasted great! I ordered the buccatini (Joe's favorite dish) and it was really good! Everyone loved their entrees but no one could finish. There was so much food! We all had an incredible time and totally see why this place is so loved! Highly recommend!
Chip C — Google review
The complimentary appetizers were a nice touch. The eggplant meatballs were sweet and very tasty. The pasta sauce was OK. The Cesar salad needed some acidity. It was dressed and salted well and had grated cheese, but lacked lemon juice or vinegar for acidity. Our dinners were great portion sizes. The seafood Fri Diavlo was tasty but for medium pepper heat, it was actually sweet and lacked hot pepper spice. The flounder oreganatta was huge, buttery and tasty. It was topped over a mound of spinach, which was nice but could have been more garlicky. Overall, the meal was very good and service was excellent.
Nicole P — Google review
Spano's is absolutely incredible. The portions are insane and the ingredients are top-notch quality. What really sets them apart is how creative they are with Italian American classics, and how well executed their core menu is also I've had their Seafood Fiesta, Chicken Parm, Pasta Tre Madre, Calamari, and Shrimp Molly, and every single one was among the best of its category that I've ever had. The Shrimp Molly was so good that I left with a jar of the Molly sauce from their gift shop—spicy, garlic, and basil flavoring that's just phenomenal. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit.

Shore Fresh Seafood Market is a versatile establishment that serves as both a market and restaurant. The market offers quick access to fresh seafood, and the menu boasts a variety of options, including appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and pasta dishes.
This is an absolute tiny little GEM! I found this place on Google Maps two weeks ago and we’ve already been there twice. The food is so so good (clam chowder is amazing) and the service is super friendly and quick.

Good food Great service! Food was very good and fresh- blackened sea bass being the star of the show! They’re located right next to fishers’ dock, so we would assume everything was super fresh from that source. There’s a few tables inside and some outside with no views or anything substantial. Great selection of seafood for sale. Bathrooms can be cleaner, and dine in experience could have been a little better if everything wasn’t served in paper plates. About $80 to feed 2 with seafood is still good value for money. Thank you!

Best lobster bisque I’ve ever had! Everything was so good and fresh! The guy behind the counter(don’t know his name young guy in his 20s) was very nice, was telling us which seafood product had just arrived! Everything was brilliant as a guy from Chicago and tasting fresh seafood from the east coast for the first time! ! I give it a 1000000/10 Claire was also lovely she was very attentive with us! I Will definitely be back to try that lobster roll! Thank you guys!

This place is the best place to eat in all of point pleasant beach in my opinion if we are talking the quality of food (disregard the nice ambience and views) if you want delicious food this is the place to come. Food is fairly priced and the quality is absolutely amazing. 10/10. I always make sure to make a few stops here when I’m in town. The lobster roll is absolutely amazing no shells in it like some other nearby places - the lobster Mac and cheese is to die for. The lobster Biscue was a tad on the thicker end I usually like it more thin but all the food is amazing and My family enjoys this place time and time again - they also do a BYOB which is a nice touch.

Nestled in the charming Point Pleasant Beach, Atlantic Offshore Fishery is a delightful destination for seafood lovers. This unique establishment combines a bustling fish market with a cozy eatery, offering an array of fresh seafood options that will tantalize your taste buds. As you wander through the market, the invigorating scent of the ocean fills the air, hinting at the treasures waiting to be discovered—think succulent lobster, sweet crab, and plump shrimp.
I am so incredibly impressed. This place is a gem. Very reasonable prices (especially for the food you're receiving). We got the freshest oysters I've ever had. The clam strips were crisp and tender. The sushi was recommended by a local and boy was she right. Finally, we got lobster with vodka sauce. The pasta is homemade! The lobster was cooked perfectly and the sauce was great. I've been to fancy meals with higher prices and way less quality than this place. Come here and protect them at all costs. They are doing things right.

10/10 restaurant. The food was incredible, the best I've had in awhile. Sat with Anna - great waitress who was sweet and gave us exceptional service. We would have come back for the great service alone! Atmosphere was great, laid back but good vibes. Will return! The place is well worth the wait (can get long, this was our fourth time trying to eat here! lol)

This was top on my list for my weekend in Point Pleasant. I am on a quest to find the best Maine lobster roll in New Jersey! Everywhere I have looked out on social media, says they are the best in the state. We ordered a few things for the table to split. After a few bites of our lobster roll, we realized that we got the Connecticut style one, and not the Maine that we had asked for. We were a little confused since it was so different from others that we’ve had, when we figured it out. At that point, we were already committed to it so we finished it. It was a little disappointing, as we always get the Maine roll so we were comparing apples to oranges. But what I will say is it was chock full lobster! We also got the shrimp Poboy, excellent! And the lobster eggrolls. Delicious! We were seated right away, our waitress was super sweet, and overall we really enjoyed our experience here, except for the little glitch with the lobster roll.
Kristen — Google review
We were very disappointed. We sat outside under their tent. Very noisy. They had some ice machine or air conditioner running right next to the tent. Very noisy. Seam to be more fly than most of the other outdoor restaurants in the vicinity. Maybe because it is not on the water and more in land. There is no view. The food was fresh but average. There is no liquor license. I did not realize that. They do serve a few different bottles of cheap wine and sangria. But it is BYOB. So, of course, I had to hear it from my wife, who is a wine connoisseur. So she wasn't happy. It was kind of strange we ordered little neck clams 3 dozen , they were very small? Strange i have been to most of the seafood restaurants in Pt. Pleasant these were the smallest clams i.have ever seen, and little Neck is what we always order. So if you are looking for seafood and like a fancier place, this is not for you.

From the best lobster rolls ever, to the freshest seafood, and amazing service, Atlantic is the best. Also had the pleasure of meeting Giovanna on our last trip who was an absolute delight to talk to! A must try!

I visited Atlantic Offshore Fishery for the 1st time on 4/29/25. Our waitress, Giavanna, and the food were a 10 out of 10! At Giavanna's suggestion, we started with drunken mussels. They were delicious - big, tasty, and fresh! We moved on to clam chowder - yummy! And since we were too full to eat anything more, I took a sushi roll home, and my dad got the blackened fisherman's platter and lobster bisque. OMG! The food was so good that I drove the hour plus back the following day with my husband and daughter to celebrate my husband's birthday. This time, our waitress suggested blacked scallops and fries (sorry, I forgot her name), which were so tender and buttery and delicious that writing this review has my mouth watering, lol. My husband had the fried fisherman's platter, and my daughter had the lobster roll. Everything was just as scrumptious today as yesterday. The icing on the cake was when the wait staff surprised my husband with a slice of key lime pie. Little did they know its one of his favorite desserts! I can not say enough about the service, quality of the food, and the portion size. This has become one of our new favorite places and we can't wait to return for our next meal.
Katoya P — Google review
staff was friendly and fish was fresh. for the price of the poke bowl I would’ve liked more tuna (it was tasty though!). lobster roll was refreshing. I do think the flies by the outdoor seating could be contained better. I understand there is seafood involved, but adding some fly traps in the surrounding areas would make outdoor dining more enjoyable. I’ll give it another try! 🦞
Elena M — Google review
Had a variety of great food here. The crispy rice was topped with fresh spicy tuna and an avocado base. Could’ve ordered another one it was that good. The lobster came out hot and juicy and places in a perfectly toasted roll. The roll was drowning in butter too which we loved. The lobster roll was $32, which is a little pricy, but the roll was stuffed so it felt worth it. Both rolls were simple and fresh, nothing to complain about there. Couldn’t be any happier, will definitely be back.

When you find yourself at the Jersey Shore, make sure to swing by Rosie's Pizza for a slice of local goodness. This beloved spot is known for crafting some of the finest pizza in New Jersey, particularly their round pepperoni pie and square spinach version. However, be mindful of their limited hours; arriving after 8 PM might leave you disappointed as they often run out or close early.
This is a great spin, close but not on the boardwalk, where you can find fantastic pizza. 9 of us went and filled up the whole place. The atmosphere is quintessential northeast pizza joint and the staff is friendly as can be.

What a treat of a pizza place away from home! The ordering system gets busy in peak times of the year and you order in time slots. This doesn’t make it hard to order but just be prepared! The pizza has good flavor, awesome cup and char pepperoni and great sausage. We like the bay leaves for added texture and flavor. The crust is a sourdough and is truly unique. I enjoy the way it’s cooked(looks burnt but just some char that adds great texture). Juan is vital person to the business, great attitude and a passion for the pizza that they are making! He recommended the hot honey(which is local). What a game changer for the pizza! We return to Rosie’s every year we are vacationing in the Point Pleasant area. There are only a handful of tables inside and also some outside but it’s worth the stop!
Andrew S — Google review
I came here because Dave gave it an 8.5 and the hype was huge, but for me, it’s a 7.2. Great, just not fully my style of pizza. The bubbly char is incredible, probably the best char I’ve had in NJ, and the crust is thin and crisp. The cheese is clearly high quality. However, the flavor falls flat with no tang or kick. The biggest issue, is that the pie is super greasy with a heavy uncomfortable afterfeel. I think the main issue is that the sheet of sauce is dry and dead, and the flavor relies more on excess olive oil. It’s more of a guilty-pleasure comfort pizza than a clean, vibrant one, which is what I usually look for. I totally get why people love it. The charred sourdough base gives it real satisfaction. To me, Lucci’s in Belmar nails the same thin, crisp, high quality style with all the positives (plus a deeper flavor) and none of the downsides.

BEST Pizza EVER!!!! The quality is amazing, the pizza is perfect, and you are left craving this for days. A little local place with BIG 5 Star Reviews from a local family of 7. My parents owned a pizzeria and I can honestly say this pizza exceeds all expectations.

This pizza was absolutely amazing! The dough had that perfect classic Italian style—crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy inside. The sauce really brought everything together; it had rich flavor and just the right balance, though slightly on the salty side. The cheese was kept light, letting the dough and sauce shine through instead of overpowering them. Altogether, it felt like an authentic Italian pizza experience. Easily one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a long time.
Belal B — Google review
Rosie’s Pizza, I love you. Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. I showed up about 10 minutes before closing, and the staff were still kind enough to make a pie for my friends and me. I’d travel any distance just to keep eating this pizza.
Jefferson G — Google review
Clean, simple, and charming. This place only has three items on the menu: pizza, salad, and meatballs. And they do an excellent job preparing all three items. We started with the meatballs; they were cooked just right with delicious homemade tomato sauce topping it. There’s only one salad option and they do it very well. Fresh ingredients like roasted red peppers, kalamata olives, pickled red onion, artichoke hearts, feta, and housemade vinaigrette top a bed of arugula, creating a perfectly balanced salad. We ordered the small portion and it’s good for 2-3 people to share. With 4 different styles of pizza, we went with the classic 16” round pie of half plain and half pepperoni. One of my favorite pizzas I’ve had in a long time. The pepperonis were the small cupped version and the crust was well done, which we love. Everything about this pizza was to our liking. This place is very small inside, only four high top tables to sit at and that’s it. Definitely a place to carry out, but eating in is still an option. They have a Middletown location but I’m not sure how big that spot is. For two meatballs, salad and large pizza the total came out to $37 which was a good price for all the food we got, considering we took home four slices to have as leftovers. A simple menu is only ok if the food is done right, and this place sure does it right!

I cannot say enough great things about this place! We have been multiple times for breakfast and try something different each time. Eggs benedict and corned beef hash absolutely scrumptious! But the absolute best is getting their country breakfast with a little bit of everything and we upgraded to oatmea cinnamon raisin pancakes which were to die for! Stacey rocks, and so does Ralph, the chef. While on vacation, we always try to walk to restaurants to get in some exercise and walk off a great meal. Our family tree has an Aunt Elaine whose married to Uncle John and we happened to notice this place. Read the terrible reviews first for the nasty comments and then enjoyed my awesome breakfast to now offer my personal opinion. The $5 small glass of OJ is FRESH SQUEEZED and not from concentrate! The owner and waitresses are pure joy and so sweet and pleasant. The chef does it up right. The homemade breakfast potatoes are just like mama made and the prices are just right. Best part, I crave pancakes now and again and theirs was best I’ve had in ages. Light, fluffy and taste like home. I always tell folks to sit down and try a meal; in the end it’s all according to what you like and you’re never going to know if you don’t try something!

This restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The wait staff was very pleasant and did a great job. The food was great. We had a party of seven, and there was a ham and cheese omelette with toast, there were some egg sandwiches, there were pancakes and other egg dishes ordered, and my wife and I enjoyed a egg and cheese pork roll sandwich which was really very good. I ordered the hot corned beef and pastrami sandwich on rye, and I have to say it is the best one I've ever tasted. I have been to Jack's of Lombard Street in Baltimore Maryland which was a staple growing up, but this sandwich here at John and Elaine's was absolutely epic. There was little to no fat on the sandwich and it was the most tender and great tasting one that I've had in a long long time. I would almost drive from Virginia to this place just to get another one. The coleslaw that accompanied my sandwich was also excellent. We will be back. This is an all cash restaurant, so plan ahead but it is well worth it.

Great ambience, even inside, if you love being by the water! Our server, Nick, was kind, patient and attentive. Everyone enjoyed their meals with the highlights being the Apricot Chicken, crab-stuffed flounder, the lobster bisque & the volcano shrimp. Side note: the Caesar salad came with a cute presentation but the leaves are left long and you have to cut up the salad yourself. (See pic) I didn’t mind it but my husband wasn’t a fan of having to do that. Wasn’t a big deal, just worth noting.

I don't know how I never came here before. This place is absolutely amazing. I stopped in for a quick lunch over the Labor Day weekend. When I walked in I got a wonderful greeting by the hostess and she was nice enough to accommodate me for outdoor dining as I am a solo diner. I got such a lovely view of the water and it was so nice seeing the boats go by. My server was Ariana and she was friendly and attentive. I wasn't too hungry so I opted for a lighter meal so I got the orange salmon and it was perfectly cooked and delicious. I also loved the zeppole starter where I ended up eating the whole basket. Menu options here are great and are priced accordingly. The restaurant itself inside and out is beautiful, clean and very spacious. They also have plenty of onsite parking. Overall, I was very pleased by my first experience and I will definitely come back here again in the future....😋

I’ve been to the wharfside several times and the experience is pretty consistent. Lovely atmosphere, good service, good drinks, but lackluster food. I’ve had my share of overcooked flavorless steaks, undercooked seafood, and lobster rolls with shells throughout. How does a seafood restaurant consistently screw up seafood? My boyfriend said his lobster roll was so chewy it was getting stuck in his teeth. While the prices are on par with other restaurants in the area, I feel you could really get a lot more for your money elsewhere.

Great waterfront restaurant and bar. The fresh seafood and there are delicious non-fish choices. Outdoor bar and music, we always go to the annual Luau, it is a must for everyone young and old!

Holly was so pleasant, one of the best waitresses I ever had! We didn't have to wait to be seated and the food came out quickly too

Jenny didn’t only give amazing service; the restaurant closed at 9pm, she said I’ll take that table! @ 8:45pm when the host was reluctant to seat any more tables. We ordered appetizers, entrees, desert with espresso and everything was perfect. Thank you for being an all star Jenny!

Came here visiting from Dallas. No reservations accepted. Waited about 40 minutes on a Friday evening. Requested patio near water. Great views! Started with the sesami ahi tuna which was a bit overcooked. Good flavor but just seared way too much. I ordered the 3lb lobster which was humongous and exactly what I wanted! You can't get lobsters that big in Texas (no surprise there) so I had to take advantage of the opportunity! I barely finished but thoroughly enjoyed myself. The place got really busy but it was a fun and scenic seafood experience. Highly recommend.

First stop when visiting NJ for the first time! Was dragged here by my in-laws straight off the plane, tired and hungry. Was amazed as soon as we stepped inside! As a vegetarian I didn’t think I’ve find anything but was very excited to get the giant Eggplant Pie! The staff were super friendly, could really feel a community vibe here.

one of my favorite little Italian markets I've had the pleasure of visiting! everyone was super kind to us here& THEY GIVE FIRST TIMERS FREE BREAD!!! the products are truly amazing, we picked up some olive, mackerel in a jar, bruschetta and more! it was hard not to buy more 😹 we traveled 6 hrs for a trip and drove by this place on the way to our hotel. totally worth checking out, and we'll absolutely be back!

As a local, my family & I have been coming to Joe Leone’s for well over a decade now & everything I’ve ever purchased has always been delicious & of high quality. The staff is also very nice, shoutout to SUE especially! She is such a sweetheart, always greets you with a big smile & sweet demeanor. As an Italian myself, it’s very cool to see all the Italian culture & grocery items this store has to offer. Nobody does it like them, they’re the best!

This place is excellent for the variety of fresh Italian foods. The selection is amazing and always good. However, I do have a concern that I am sure others share as well. If you ever go there for a sandwich, it takes forever to get one. The line is always 10-20 deep. This AM I went in for 3 sandwiches and 3 people were absolutely busting their butts to server the customers and 2 people were standing around doing nothing. One was even doing something on his phone in front of customers. I waited almost 25 minutes to get my sandwiches and the entire time I was there, he did absolutely nothing productive. This would never fly in a non-resort area. People would go elsewhere for faster service. Management should look into that, other choices exist nearby for sandwiches...

I am a first generation ItaloAmerican- Truly superb! Excellent selections of highest quality foods. 6+ choices of Imported prosciutto- some of the best I've had. Prepared foods are wonderful. Fresh made mozzarella and semolina breads were still warm. I wish it was closer to my home!

Most everything was delicious. The sandwiches made to order are worth the reasonable price However, a loaf of Italian semolina bread wasn't fresh as expected-- a little dry and chewy. An eggplant Parmesan pie is very nice.

Bar & grill
Nestled in the heart of Ocean County, Frankie's Bar & Grill is a cozy and inviting spot that captures the essence of classic American dining. With a diverse menu featuring mouthwatering burgers and traditional pub fare, it’s an ideal place to unwind after a long day under the sun. Known for their impressive burgers, each one is expertly cooked to achieve that perfect charred flavor—just remember they tend to run a bit rarer than expected!
Frankie’s was and still remains awesome! I moved away from the area and hadn’t been to Frankie’s for 10 pls years. My mom and I stopped by on a Friday night and sat at the bar while we waited for a table to be ready. The bartenders were attentive and fast and it’s cool they have a grill at the bar. Our table was ready faster than quotes and our server was awesome. She gave us recommendations and was extremely attentive. The prices are very fair and the portions are HUGE. Seriously enough for at least 2 meals.
Paige N — Google review
Even though I visit Point Pleasant very frequently, I heard about Frankie's through a coworker. I stopped in over the weekend to grab a quick lunch before heading home. This is such a great place with a very welcoming atmosphere. Erin was my server and she was so friendly and attentive. I ordered the shrimp cocktail and penne vodka with shrimp and everything came out fast, fresh and delicious. My watermelon margarita cocktail was great as well. They have a good size menu with reasonable pricing, especially since you get a generous portion of food for your money. The restaurant can come off as being a tad dark inside, but that is the charm of the place. They only complaint I have, which is minor is that I wished the onsite parking lot was a tad larger. But overall, this bar and grill is definitely a must try while visiting Point Pleasant.

A must experience in Pt Pleasant. Excellent burgers, fries, everything really. Friendly and helpful staff with a massive menu selection. Something for everyone. Everything was made perfectly. The inside of the restaurant can feel a little dark and crowded but that’s the character.

Perfect spot after lounging on the beach. They have really good menu, and think mostly sandwiches and finger food but the entrees are worth a try. The Chicken Parmigiana was delicious and the sauce was flavorful. Great experience and pricing.

My friend and I enjoyed a lovely lunch today at Frankie's.. From the moment I walked in, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. I arrived a bit before my friend, and the hostess--who was so kind (I wish I had gotten her name!) graciously seated me at a table by the window in the other room, just as I had requested. The table was originally set up for a larger group, but she and our waitress, Krista, quickly and efficiently adjusted it for two, which I really appreciated. Krista was an absolute gem. Friendly, attentive, and warm, she made us feel right at home..Frankie's makes the best potato skins---crispy, perfectly cooked, and loaded just right. Between the welcoming service and the delicious lunch, it made for a truly enjoyable afternoon. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
Stephanie — Google review
I love this place. Always open and always welcoming. The bartenders Shane, Sue and Dean are amazing. They’re all so attentive. The female manager also checked on us multiple times- extremely appreciated. Will definitely be coming back. This place feels like home. Side note - burgers are amazing. The amount of pickles though could be more.
Amina B — Google review
Really cool mom and pops style bar. The bartenders are also cooks, they have a really awesome and unique setup. They do burgers and some sandwiches right there in the middle of the bar. Burgers were awesome, if you ask for grilled wings they do them right at the bar too, those were really good as well. I will definitely be back whenever I'm in town.

The Food Shack is a seasonal eatery located at 1001-1002 Ocean Avenue in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Despite its name, it's not just a food truck but a fully functioning indoor/outdoor restaurant with breakfast, burgers, sandwiches, and more on the menu. The establishment also features a gift shop and bathhouse. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating options and has friendly staff providing excellent service.
I discovered this charming little spot on Instagram, and since I was staying in the area, I figured I would check them out. I have visited Point Pleasant so many times in the past 10+ years, and it amazes me that I have never heard of this place before....and I am kicking myself for not coming here sooner. This place and everything about it is totally awesome. The service I have received from the young waitstaff was kind, courteous, and attentive, and the food here is great. Word to the wise..they open at 7:30am so I suggest if you want a table for either inside or out, you need to get here as early as possible as tables go super fast. For the three days I was in Point Pleasant, I made it a point to arrive prior to them opening. For being a small place they have a good size menu and the prices are very reasonable. They also have a cute little shop with good gift ideas and changing stations. This is one of the best eateries in the area, and I will definitely come back the next time I am in Point Pleasant.

My family and I loved having breakfast here. We came here 2 days in a row. We all liked the fact that there was something for everyone. From a toddler to us grandparents and in between. 🤩 I built my omelet, had my home fries, and while wheat toast with marmalade. Fruit cups for the kids, avocado toast for my daughter. Everything was PERFECT both days. Our servers (David and Madison) were EXCELLENT! I'm picky with certain things, and both handled my needs to a "tea".

Great spot right on the boardwalk in Point, paid parking right behind the restaurant or free street parking all over. Scan the QR code and prepare for a wait. Both indoor and outdoor seating as well as some counter space. Owner and staff are incredible friendly and we were sat pretty quick for a Sunday morning. Menu has all the staples and reasonable prices. The Mueller's Tiffany Raisin Bread is top notch (highly recommend). Eggs were perfectly over easy and the home fries were killer. Perfect with a nice cold Port Coffee Cold Brew. Will definitely be back to try more

But that's not all—Berritazza also serves up an array of breakfast bites, refreshing smoothies, and their standout açaí bowls made from freshly imported berries that truly elevate the experience.
Great coffee shop with yummy açaí bowls. Nice location in downtown Point Pleasant Beach. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating if you want to eat/drink there. Really liked the make your own açaí bowl options. Iced tea and coffee were good. Staff was helpful and nice. Would definitely come back here.

Drove about 50 minutes for 1st visit. They had 7 choices of single origin coffee. This is the way its supposed to be. I had a Brazilian dark roasted made pourover style. It was made perfectly by this hard working barista. I really loved the fact you have a choice of many single origin coffees made pourover style and I got great service. My brother n law really liked his latte so we will be back. Nice inside for those who wish to stay. Worth the ride

After a morning trip to the boardwalk, my friend recommended this cafe. I am so glad she did! The food was delicious! You could taste the freshness! I can't wait to go back to try more items on the menu! The chicken and kale wrap was so good! Fresh and delicious! My matcha latte was piping hot and hit the spot! Owner and staff were very friendly! The owner came out to the tables and not only checked on everyone but stayed and chatted. Made you feel welcomed and like being with family. Highly recommend!

My husband and I came for some food. I had the avocado naan and he had a frittata sandwich. We shared the açaí bowl. I also had a chocolata smoothy. Everything was fresh and delicious! My smoothy was perfect. A lot of places either put too much peanut butter or too much of chocolate but this place got it right. It was a perfect balance of flavors. It was nice because of the variety of seating. There’s even out door seating in the back. Today was a bit chilly so we opted to sit inside. We will def be back!!

Jersey Shore BBQ (JSBBQ) in Point Pleasant Beach is a must-visit for foodies looking for an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant offers outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to indulge in mouthwatering dishes. From their life-changing nachos to their flavorful burgers and delectable sides like coleslaw, mac & cheese, and tater tots, every item on the menu is a hit.
Tuesdays is .75 wing night . Omg so good. The wings were huge. I tried three flavors and the Texas BBQ was my favorite . Sweet and Smokey but not too sweet. Doug did it again . So good ! Definitely be going back for the wings even when it’s not wing night. I’ve ordered from them from day 1 and never been disappointed . The sides are amazing . The collard greens I always order extra to take home . I don’t even like potato salad and I love there’s . Their breakfast menu is my favorite also ; especially for people who don’t like typical breakfast food like me. Give me savory and not just eggs and toast .

Hello my Foodies! Sorry I have not been out and about to share my joy of dining out lately. However, I was able to get away from work and go out antiquing to Point Pleasant NJ. As usual, we had to find a spot in the area to eat! We found this place and decided to check it out. My friends are lovers of BBQ, so we had to see what this place had to offer. I myself am not the biggest fan of BBQ, but I was a good sport this day. I don't hate it, but it's not my first choice for food flavors, I guess. However, the food was pretty good. My friends loved the BBQ ribs, and the sauce was ok. I had the corned beef sandwich, which was pretty good. There was a parking lot associated with this restaurant and a few others in the same area. We were served chips and salsa to start. They had homemade lemonade and tea along with your usual soda options. The server was very nice and welcoming. My friend loved it enough to suggest we return just for the ribs. The platter he bought was about 30 dollars, but it was a good serving size and enough to take leftovers home. You do get two sides with those bigger orders and cornbread. Overall, I would go back to try some other items on the menu. We went on a Sunday, so it was pretty quiet. No wait time at all. If you are in the area, stop by and give them a try.

We placed a big order for our son’s birthday and everything was Fantastic! We had pulled pork, sliced brisket, turkey, St Louis ribs, Mac and cheese, Cole slaw, tomato cucumber salad, ranch beans, and of course cornbread. Everything we ordered was delicious. Some of our guests were from Texas and North Carolina and they too thought the food was terrific. Everything was delivered at exactly the time we requested and all the food was wrapped for delivery with great care - nothing was spilled. This was such a great experience. Thank you Jersey Shore BBQ!

The boardwalk also features numerous casual dining options where visitors can indulge in treats like caramel apples, salt water taffy, cheese steaks, and pizza.
We love this boardwalk! The staff is friendly and it’s always a good time. The rides are fun for our 5 year old and the prices are good. They have a lovely sweet shop and aquarium. It’s also kept very clean. Cute beach bars and photo ops as well. A really nice experience

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4-Star Review for Jenkinson’s Boardwalk – Point Pleasant, NJ Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is a classic Jersey Shore gem! Great mix of family fun, ocean views, and nostalgic vibes. The beach is clean and well-maintained, and the boardwalk is bustling with energy—especially in the summer. The rides are a nice touch for younger kids, and the amusement rides offer something for all ages. Lots of snack options from fried Oreos to pizza and ice cream—definitely a cheat day paradise! Also love funnel cakes here Parking can be tricky on busy weekends, and prices (like many shore spots) can add up quickly. But overall, it’s a fun, lively place to spend the day with family or friends. Highly recommend for a full-day outing at the shore!
Raj S — Google review
Spent Memorial Day at Point Pleasant Beach and Jenkinson’s Boardwalk, and honestly, it was one of the best weekend escapes I’ve had in a while. The beach was absolutely packed as expected for a holiday, but that just added to the lively, festive atmosphere. The boardwalk had everything you’d want: fun rides, great food stalls, and an overall vibrant vibe. There were plenty of options when it came to food, from classic American bites to Italian and seafood spots. A few beachside restro-bars also offered chill hangout spaces with a great view of the ocean. Parking was a bit of a challenge during peak hours, but with some patience, you’ll either find free street parking or opt for one of the several paid lots around the area. The staff, including lifeguards and security, were super attentive and made sure everyone was having a safe time. It’s also very family and kid-friendly. I saw tons of families and kids genuinely enjoying themselves. Heads-up: the main beachfront access is paid, but it’s reasonably priced and well-maintained, so I’d say it’s worth it. All in all, a great spot if you’re looking for a fun and relaxing weekend with friends or family. Would definitely go back!
Shankar P — Google review
I wasn’t really sure how I should rate this place. On one hand it is beautiful. Well kept you can tell that it’s a beach town. It’s been around for a really long time. My rating is because I thought it was really expensive. First, you have to pay to get on the beach per person over 12 and then when we went walking on the boardwalk I thought the prices were really high and the quality of merchandise that they had wasn’t worth the price. The food prices were really high, again, not surprising, but it was just mediocre. The best part about it for me was the beach, it was really clean, didn’t have a whole bunch of broken shells all over the place, which allowed me to walk in the sand in my bare feet. Something I’ve generally don’t do because I am diabetic and cuts to my feet could cause me to get infections Which could cause me to get amputations, something I don’t wish to have. This is just my opinion. I’m sure some people would disagree.

Since 1928, Jenkinson's Boardwalk has operated as an amusement park and prominent tourist attraction among those in Ocean County and for families and area tourists alike. For the first time in over 16 years, I came to this such boardwalk on a recent trip out to the Jersey Shore as a means of spending my last full day of my recent trip in a manner of peace and action. I came to this such boardwalk during the afternoon on a Wednesday evening and found myself flattered at just how impressive the boardwalk area really was during my time. I was especially impressed with how much there was to do. From shops to food stalls, and even arcades, this boardwalk has something for everybody. I came also during one of the prominent events that are held on the pier during the summer months, and was easily enamored by the theme of Christmas in July they were offering during my time at the boardwalk. The entryway to the beach also offers a robust experience that allows you to experience the Sand and the Atlantic Ocean from a distance. Overall, coming here was a surprise and a great treat to end my trip to the Mid-Atlantic Region, I hope to come back in the future and experience more of what the boardwalk has to offer.

Nice place to visit. Boardwalk very clean and lots of places eat and spend family time. Although the boardwalk games cost from $5 to $20 each game to play, be prepared to spend a rent payment for a day. The beaches were walkable but no life guards on duty as it was the end of Sept. There is an aquarium, mini golf and kiddie rides along with a tiki bar for the adults. Nice day trip.

This is an excellent beach with Boardwalk. Very well maintained. Easy to navigate with google maps. Hard to find free/paid parking also near the beach especially over weekends. There is hourly parking with less price changes for weekdays/weekends/holidays but reasonable price. $40 day parking is also available and may get some spots here. Street parking is available but mostly get filled unless we want to walk a mile. We visited this over weekend and there is ticket for adults only for $15. Children under 12 are free to enter. Boardwalk area is full of stores. Restrooms are available and no rush at all here. At the entrance itself, there are showers available to take batch while returning. All are free. There is lot of space to place our tents and chairs to take rest in the beach. Very well maintained the whole beach. Beach is opened to go in water only until 5.30 PM. In the sand area we can stay until 11 PM it seems. Excellent beach to visit with whole family and friends. Everyone will enjoy this place for sure. Can't go deep in water as there is little deep. Waves were so speed in the evening, so probably that could be the reason for not allowing into water after 5.30 PM.
Sreekanth K — Google review
Every summer, our family makes the trip to Jenkinson’s Boardwalk it’s become more than just a day at the beach, it’s a tradition we look forward to all year. From the moment we step onto the boardwalk, there’s that familiar ocean breeze, the sound of laughter, and the smell of funnel cakes and fries that instantly feels like summer. The rides, the arcades, and of course, the nightly fireworks always bring out the kid in all of us. Watching Michael’s face light up while riding the carousel or trying to win a stuffed animal at the games is the highlight of my summer. Jenkinson’s has that perfect mix of nostalgia and excitement something timeless that keeps us coming back year after year. If you’re looking for that true Jersey Shore experience filled with memories, laughter, and a bit of magic, Jenkinson’s Boardwalk is where it all happens.

Almond Turtle was amazing. Manz got the Praline and Cream which was also delicious. One of the best ice cream spots in Jersey hands down!!! They scoop an insane amount per order. After 20 mins of constant enjoyment, not sure I can finish the rest. 10/10!!!!

Fantastic tasting ice cream. Perfect place to go after a nice day at point pleasant beach. My family and I went here after playing arcade games with our children. Plenty of flavors and priceless time with the family! 🍨🤍

I’m not one to write reviews that often but I went here the other night and ordered something that was on the menu. I don’t want to get too specific as I don’t want to point fingers at any employee but the attitude I received from ordering something on the menu (other than a scoop of ice cream) was atrocious. Mind you, it took maybe 2 minutes to make? At most? Yet I was treated like a literal villain for ordering it. It came out ok, nothing legendary or worth coming back for, in my opinion. As someone who works in customer service on a larger scale, my advice would be to train your employees to have better skillsets in this field. You don’t roll your eyes at a customer and throw a hissy fit in-front of everyone for a simple order. You can have the greatest ice cream on earth but I wouldn’t come back here due to the way I was treated and felt afterwards.

Hoffman's Ice Cream in Point Pleasant Beach is a Jersey Shore gem that's been scooping up smiles for generations. The flavors are inventive and delicious—try the salted caramel pretzel for that perfect sweet-salty crunch. Huge portions, fair prices, and the outdoor seating is ideal for enjoying your cone while people-watching near the beach. Staff is quick and cheerful, even on packed summer evenings. A must-stop after a day in the sun!

We were visiting on the Jersey Shore and friends suggested we visit Hoffman’s Ice Cream shop in Point Pleasant. I had read that once upon a time it had been one of the original Carvel stores but many years ago the owners decided to give up that franchise and focus on making their own ice cream. We were impressed with their flavors as well as their reasonable prices, especially for ice cream cakes! We purchased 2 pints: coffee Oreo and chocolate chip and both were delicious!

Excellent location, staff, and selection! Their interior is very welcoming and the staff is super kind. There were a lot of flavors to choose from as well as sundaes and milkshakes, but I opted for hard ice cream. I had to get my favorite flavor, coffee oreo, and it did not disappoint. Will definitely go back here before the summer ends!

Prime 13 is a BYOB restaurant that offers wood-fired steaks and seafood in an upscale-casual environment. Customers rave about their amazing food, including the pork belly appetizer, tomahawk steak for two, surf and turf, and the delicious fresh seafood. The staff members are outstanding, providing knowledgeable and friendly service. The timing of the meals from appetizers to salads to dinner is perfect, ensuring a great dining experience for large parties as well.
Our Father's Day visit to Prime 13 was, simply put, excellent. We arrived unexpectedly after finding our original destination fully booked, and we were grateful to be accommodated and seated efficiently between reservations. Bridget, our server, provided exceptional service; she was friendly, polite, and offered helpful recommendations that enhanced our first dining experience here. The supporting staff were also very friendly, and the service was timely without ever feeling rushed. The food was absolutely delicious across the board. My wood-fired steak was superb, and my family thoroughly enjoyed their lamb, salmon, and lobster tail and steak. Our desserts were equally delightful. We had a truly excellent time at Prime 13.

We enjoyed another incredible meal at Prime 13 last night. The food is always outstanding! The steak is so tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. We tried a new appetizer, the deconstructed tuna nachos and they were fantastic. My daughter enjoyed the scallop and pasta special (the only picture taken) and my husband got the wood fired pork chop. We often have Travis as our waiter and the service is always great. This is our favorite place to go to for date nights or celebrations because we know every bite will be heavenly! I highly recommend it!

The atmosphere and food were excellent. Our server was fantastic and attentive. The artichoke francaise and bacon appetizers were the perfect way to kickoff a night out. The NY Strip was seasoned and cooked perfectly … my wife got the brick chicken said it was fantastic — and don’t get me started on the sides! The corn risotto was out of this world and the crispy Brussels with bacon were perfect. 10 out of 10 would recommend! Will be back soon!

From start to finish, our experience at Prime 13 was exceptional. They were incredibly accommodating and even adjusted our reservation last minute. The food was phenomenal — everything was fresh, beautifully prepared, and the steak cuts were top-tier. Every person we interacted with, from the hostess to the chefs, was friendly, welcoming, and truly committed to making our night special. Dining at the chef’s tables is a must — watching the team work with such skill and passion made the whole experience even better.

Myself and my girlfriend tried this place during restaurant week. The atmosphere was wonderful right when you walk in the door. We sat at the chefs table and had wonderful conversation with the owner. The staff was great snd the food was top notch. Everything came out perfectly. Steaks done to perfect temperature. The dessert was absolutely amazing. Perfect spot for date night or a casual dinner. We will defenitly be back with friends.

I had an incredible dining experience at Prime 13! From the moment I walked in, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was inviting and relaxed. I started with the artichoke francese appetizer, which was absolutely delicious—light, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. For dinner, I had the Insalata Caprese with a lobster tail, and it was fantastic. The freshness of the ingredients and the richness of the lobster made for a perfect combination. My boyfriend had the boneless ribeye with a lobster tail on top and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. He also had truffle butter on the side, and it was… perfect. We also shared a berry crème brûlée for dessert that was absolutely delicious—creamy, not overly sweet, with a perfectly crisp sugar topping. You can really tell that every detail is thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend, and I’m already looking forward to coming back!
Melissa D — Google review
The French onion soup looked amazing but was just ok with a broth that was nothing special. The steak was delicious but was raw. None of our steaks were cooked to order and my medium well was very rare. Even our server said so. We were all disappointed with the way our steaks were cooked. Although they were good quality. They did offer to put it back on but my party was finishing up by then. I didn't want to hold them up. I finished cooking it to a medium well, with a little pink, at home the next day. But, of course, that was not the same. It's a quaint and not overly formal atmosphere. I will not be returning.

Enjoyed a great dining experience at Prime 13 this weekend. Had a great table for two seated right behind the bar with a view of the open kitchen. We have dined there several times and it never disappoints. Our server, Travis, who has waited on us before, is very knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat and accoutrements to make every dish perfect. He suggested a great weekend special that included a prime Tomahawk done medium rare with chimichurri, two 4 ounce lobster tails and four shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus and two side salads for starters all included for one price. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. Chad, the owner, came to our table and asked how our meal was and if there is anything more we needed. I would highly recommend this place for top quality steak and look forward to dining there again in the future.

Seafood restaurant
Shipwreck Grill is a popular seafood restaurant located in Brielle, NJ, near the Manasquan River. The restaurant offers a casual yet elegant dining experience with a wide array of seafood dishes and cocktails. Guests can enjoy patio seating while sipping on signature martinis like House Barrel Aged Manhattan and seasonal cocktails. The establishment is known for its excellent selection of Martinis, Sangria, and wines.
This is hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! I love the warm, inviting ambiance, the variety of menu options, and the excellent wine selection. We started with the roasted octopus — perfectly tender yet with a light crispness — truly a balance that’s hard to achieve. For my main course, I chose the seared day boat sea scallops with shrimp and squid, and let me tell you… they were out of this world! The seafood was cooked to perfection and simply melted in my mouth — and believe me, I’m picky when it comes to seafood (I’m from Italy!). You have to try the Miano, a white wine from Sicily, which paired beautifully with my scallops. My kids enjoyed the half semi–deboned chicken with French fries, served alongside a perfectly cooked carrot — they devoured every bite! Desserts here are just as special and creative. I was thrilled to see affogato on the menu — something I rarely come across in the USA. It was delicious: a shot of rich espresso poured over vanilla ice cream with chocolate crunch beans inside. My kids went for the profiteroles with ice cream, and my husband had the “Pistachio Three Ways,” which was phenomenal. For such a large restaurant, the quality of the food is outstanding. My compliments to the chef! Our server was gracious and attentive, and Mary, the restaurant manager, stopped by several times to check on us — she was incredibly friendly with our toddlers and made us feel so welcome. Shipwreck is truly a must-visit for anyone in the area. We can’t wait to come back!
ELENA L — Google review
We were seated promptly, and the hostess accommodated our request for indoor seating. The food was phenomenal — filet mignon, pork chop, Caesar and wedge salads, plus dessert — easily worthy of a special occasion, with quality and prices to match. Unfortunately, the service didn’t live up to the same standard. Our waitress never smiled, kept a stone-faced demeanor, skipped offering coffee with dessert, and gave inconsistent water refills. In contrast, the food runner — in just a brief interaction — was friendly and courteous. If the main service matched his attitude, this would be an exceptional dining experience from start to finish.
Jane W — Google review
I took my family to Shipwreck grill last night and we were very impressed with the food. I had the surf and turf which was filet mignon and lobster. The filet was perfectly medium and a nice crust on the outside. I added a crab cake and it was so flavorful and full of crab meat. The Battaglio Nebbiolo, a baby Barolo at a great price, made a perfect surf and turf wine pairing with the structure to balance the filet but also the elegance and finesse to show off the lobster. Highly recommended!
Tony M — Google review
Restaurant is very loud and dark. Overall we felt our food was average. I wish they had had some more specials, but they only had one and it was steak. I had the chicken, it was very dry and tasteless. It’s a place to go if you’re into strictly seafood. Other than that, the menu is limited. Desserts were good, and our waiter John was great.
Julia S — Google review
I have been several times in the last few years and the food has been improving every time. The atmosphere is always busy and sometimes loud, but I recommend it. Excellent jumbo crab meat, jumbo crab meat cocktails and the Ribeye steak, share it and for 5 bucks extra they prepare both dishes perfectly. The website menue is not always accurate the jumbo scallops were missing. The bar menue is different but also good, first come first served. The main restaurant recommend reservations. The host is always accommodating and the servers give honest suggestions.
Daniel G — Google review
I would love to sit down with the manager/owner, along with the server, and have them explain to me why they deserve a better tip. With an almost $60 filet on the menu you'd expect a little bit better service. Gia failed to introduce herself or share any information to us regarding specials for the evening. In another instance where we did interact with her, she would fill one persons glass of water but not the other. She was neither friendly nor welcoming, so why is she even working in the service industry? We can deal with the loud atmosphere, small check-in area, and elevated menu prices at Shipwreck, but the service level needs to be revisited if we're ever to return again to dine. Very disappointing.
Michael G — Google review
Went here for a family dinner and it was great! There were 12 of us total and they accommodated us excellently! The bread that they give you is great and they give you butter in olive oil with seasonings. One of my aunts ordered the apps ahead of time and we had them family style. We had the calamari, Shishido peppers, and goat cheese. All of which were fantastic but my favorite was the calamari. I got the clam and linguine and my wife got the tuna. We were both extremely pleased with our melas. The linguini was so light and perfect pasta for the summer! I would definitely order the clam linguine again! We split the hot chocolate cake and it was the perfect way to end the meal.

Was eager to try this restaurant for quite some time. Finally, made it happen for a special occasion. Read other reviews and educated ourselves about the menu before arriving. All seemed OK - mixed reviews etc. and menu included a fair amount of seafood & steak offerings. So - here are our thoughts about Shipwreck Grill. Venue and atmosphere inside - not too bad but yes as others stated - noise level was deafening. Service - congenial and somewhat attentive. Now it comes down to the most important aspect - "the food". Started off with The Caesar Salad for two. One small dish came to the table with some hearts of romaine (hard as a rock) in a skimpy amount of dressing. Entrees - blackened salmon ($40) & scallops ($46) were drenched in salt. Anyone on a sodium restricted diet (we're not), however, beware! Portions were extremely inadequate especially for someone with a hearty appetite. Salmon was the size of a 2 ounce ribbon cut and four scallops that were dry and not plump. All this for $119 without the tip? In summary - the meal was not enjoyable / barely edible. SHIPWRECK has officially sunk in our minds as a viable and credible place to eat. Hope this review is a "life preserver" for all of those that are thinking about trying it.

Super delicious breakfast. French toast was amazing and so was the pork roll sandwich. They also had good coffee. The people that worked there were always smiling and very full of energy. Our waiter was amazing. Will visit this place every-time we visit point pleasant.

Just a block from the boardwalk, this spot is perfect for breakfast or lunch. Despite arriving an hour before closing, the food was fresh and the service excellent.

Prices are insanely expensive here for breakfast! For an almost $18 wrap, this Taylor ham egg and cheese barely had any meat in it. A few small cubes and when we questioned it, they confirmed it was correct. Bill was just as high as dinner and that was without coffees.

We came here every year when we go to seaside—this yr is the last. $57.84 for (2) people for breakfast. Waffle w/ strawberry $19.90, side of fries $8.95. Insane. Western omelet $16.95. Could understand the omelet price though a couple of $ higher than expected b/c so close to the beach but waffle & fries - NOT. Good when it lasted but NO thanks going forward.
Steven R — Google review
Absolutely insane pricing. Had two wraps, 2 iced teas, 1 coffee and a burger to go for $80. What is going on? The wraps don’t even come with fries, that’s extra. Grabbed a Diet Coke on the way out, $3.75 for the bottle. Food is average at best, sad how they are ripping people off. Server was sweet, not her fault the prices are highway robbery.

Bar
The Broadway Bar & Grill offers a variety of dishes including steaks, seafood, and classic pub food in a relaxed atmosphere with wood-paneled decor. They also serve draft beer to complement the meals. On New Year's Eve, they feature wings and burgers that have been consistently delicious over the years. The wings are grilled at the end for a distinct charbroil flavor, while the burgers are made from fresh patties instead of frozen ones.
Never a bad meal here. Great homey feel bar, and fantastic wings!! Thanks Broadway. Your staff is also the best. Local family owned awesomeness. Support small business and go to Broadway!
Cash ( — Google review
If you’re a fan of wings, the Broadway Bar and Grill is a must-visit spot…especially on $1 Wing Monday!!! Known for their incredible selection of flavors and perfect execution, their wings are nothing short of outstanding. The first thing you’ll notice is the crispiness — every wing is perfectly fried and grilled to a golden, crispy exterior while still being juicy on the inside. The variety of sauces is impressive, from the signature Broadway buffalo to teriyaki, sweet chili, old bay and classic BBQ. I usually go for the sweet chili. On this visit I ordered buffalo and found a new favorite! Each sauce is flavorful and expertly balanced, giving just the right amount of kick without overpowering the taste of the chicken. What sets Broadway Bar and Grill apart, though, is the consistency. The wings are generously sized, and the meat is tender, never dry. The atmosphere at the bar is laid-back and inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy some wings with friends and watch sports. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly, adding to the overall great experience. If you’re in the mood for wings, Broadway Bar and Grill definitely delivers the goods. They’ve mastered the art of the wing, combining quality, flavor, and the perfect crunch in every bite.

Kaitlin, our server, was a gem! Fast, efficient, friendly, and accommodating. The wings were SO good. My partner got BBQ and I got Old Bay rub. They put on the Yankees’ game on for us, there was live music playing….just a great Wednesday night environment!

Great selection of live music. And no cover charge. The McDermott Band provided wonderful rock n roll. The bar food was very good. Our table tried almost all the apps. One of us had the onion soup and loved it. My grilled chicken Caesar was really good.

We went on Father’s Day. We got the wings, crab bisque soup French onion, soup and cheeseburger. The crab bisque soup was very good. The French onion soup had a strange pepper flavor. The burger was just OK and the wings were fine also. The service was horrible. The bathroom had no soap which we asked the bartender to have that taken care of, and it was never taken care of. The waitress pretty much disappeared on us.I don’t recommend going there and I won’t be going back again the food as I said was just OK.

Joey Tomato's is a seasonal pizza joint located in Point Pleasant, known for its classic thin-crust pies and slices. It offers a casual dining experience with the option to dine on their patio. Visitors often praise the delicious pizza and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for families and friends looking for a tasty meal. While some mention that prices have increased over time, many still appreciate the wide variety of ready-to-eat slices available.
People expect way to much nowadays. Joey's was perfect for doing exactly what it advertises to do, good boardwalk pizza. The workers are focused on moving people along as they should be, they are patient and happy to explain items if you have questions. We got 2 big gourmet slices, we asked them to cut them both in half so we can split them, they did with no issue! Those slices and 2 drinks was about $27.

My wife's favorite pizza place on the point pleasant boardwork. Have been stopping here for slices every summer. The pizza is very good, always have a wide variety ready for ready to eat slices. I will say that the prices have really jumped the last two summers. I get it, the rising cost of food ingredients and labor is going to get passed onto the guest. The price is the only thing keeping this from a 5 star review.
Michael K — Google review
Waited for a while to try and order with 10 people behind the register. Nobody came to help me so I went to another spot to get food. Then the owner was upset that we were eating at his table. Have better service and maybe you will have patrons eating your food. Maybe also don’t worry about people taking up tables when there are 80% open.

$52 for a large drink and large plain pie that was average at best is pretty upsetting. I've had better pizzas for less money and the only reason I settled is because there weren't any better options at the time and I was starving. Will probably never order from here again personally feel like I was robbed.

We came down to grab a slice and you got a number 1 fan the Mac and cheese pizza was incredible but the staff member named Doreen is proof that some people are meant to be in customer service. She was so lovely and kind and helpful. She’s the reason we would come back to this place… well and the Mac and cheese pie.

Highly recommended you don’t eat here. 3 slices charged 2 drinks came out to $30 and they didn’t even warm it up. First time I went they forgot my order and I waited 20 min before I realized . This is a tourist trap with high prices ran by teenagers . There is no integrity in this shop. It’s just made to rip off beach goers and maximize profits. Walk up the board walk and just get your slice by the games area. Your welcome.

A local gem!! Taylor and Rodger are the best. The food is the best. I cannot get enough of shore points food, honestly. My go to is the firecracker shrimp appetizer and Mac daddy burger but anything you order is a slam dunk. I will always get a flavored lemonade every single time I go. Their queso is so fresh and full of real ingredients. One of my husbands favorites is the q bird sandwich. I first found out about shore points from my clinical instructor in graduate school who was raving about their bbq parfaits and taco Tuesdays (both of which I don’t think are still there). She gave me a gift card at the end of my clinical but that is when they closed for renovations back in 2020ish. I guarded that gift card like my life depended on it to not lose it during the time they were closed!

I’d call it the BEST small hole in the wall bbq restaurant that has kind of a Mexican twist! I would really say their food is 10/10. Some things you get and you feel like it’s gourmet (drooling emoji)!!!! Weekly specials are some of my absolute favorites. Everyone is so nice that works there as well. Makes it feel very homey. Do not miss out on the mozzarella sticks! (Not pictured because we devoured them) we got the thanksgiving sandwich and the Mac daddy burger as well. In the past we’ve had the egg rolls that were burnt pork belly ends and Mac and cheese inside!!!!! They were a special I believe and they were out of this world! And we got tacos that were also just as good ! Highly recommend

Stopped in on a Sunday around noon and was surprised to see how busy it was. I have heard what’s great place this was, but on a Sunday early afternoon, I was impressed by the crowd. Seems many people were regulars too, Lots of families with children, as were we. We were greeted right away by the staff and seated within 5 minutes. After the server asked us and delivered our beverages, we ordered the sliced brisket sandwich (2), and our son ordered the pulled pork sandwich. As I noticed the Habanero Honey wings, I couldn’t resist so I ordered them as well. I’m an amateur pit master and can tell you, this food was made with love. Absolutely amazing and fresh. They were out of ribs, but the brisket sandwiches were the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant, and would come close or even better that I could have made. The wings were juicy and cooked to perfection as well. The Habanero Honey sauce was excellent. Could have used a bit more heat, but great flavor and finger licking good! We left STUFFED! I mean thanksgiving dinner stuffed. Like take a nap stuffed! Not sure if we went on an exceptionally good day but judging by the reviews, this place is legit. On a side not, I’m in the restaurant equipment and design industry for over 30 years, I always want to take a peak behind the scene and check out the cleanliness. I was very impressed by the open kitchen and perp areas. Even the dish area was organized and clean, even though there were obviously slammed that day. To me, that’s the sign of a we run restaurant with chefs, line cooks and management that cares. Well done Shore Points BBQ team. We’ll be back!

Pretty good little place. Staff was very friendly, and attentive. Food was very fresh, and flavorful. It all came out a little on the warm as opposed to hot side. I had the chicken and waffles sandwich, I felt it was very good, however could have used a little more of the maple mayo. I enjoyed the old school glass coke bottles.

WOW, WOW It's a very cozy atmosphere run by top pros, with top quality food coming out of the small mom and pop eatery. Only 9 tables+window seating and bench seating against the wall. Superb clean variety items on the menu. Seafood, beef, chicken, Spanish American. This is the diner menu. Especially drinks, such as triple citrus iced tea, blueberry iced tea with real blueberries inside. Not too sweet nor too sour. French onion soup must but really must have to have. Calamari was as good fresh crispy. We have ordered 3 different sandwiches, pulled brisket, steak, pulled chicken bbq. Flavors is bursting out of the bite. Isaw then on Instagram and I had to go try the French onion soup yet other items were also showed this restaurant was out of ordinary which was true after trying them out. I give 5 stars they deserve it. You all definetly try them. This will be on your regular visited place on your book as well as it is mine now. I will go back Roger who waited our table was friendly helpfull and he has confident on their product. I highly recommend them. Tell them I send you..

During my recent visit to Point Lobster Bar & Grill, a downtown establishment, I discovered a delightful selection of meals for both lunch and dinner. This restaurant also offers specials on certain nights and an enticing Sunday brunch. The brunch menu stood out to me, particularly the Point Lobster Omelette which consisted of succulent lobster accompanied by fresh corn, white cheese, scallions, red peppers, and a flavorful green goddess drizzle. Complementing this dish were sides of spinach and potato.
When I was a kid my dad would take me blue fishing on the Queen Mary and we would sometimes grab a cup of clam chowder or a fish sandwich after our trip at Spike’s fish market- which is within walking distance from Point Lobster. Now I come here, because a friend turned me onto it - but you can’t go wrong at either place for fish and shellfish to eat in or take out, already prepared or fresh as anything. At Point Lobster obviously you want their Lobster Roll; they’re known for them. On a recent trip I got some raw clams and oysters on the halves, a cup of New England (I thought it was the bowl size - it was huge) and a salad with blackened swordfish. My buddy got the lobster roll and the fried scallops. I tasted one - it was heavenly. This place can get jam-packed depending when you go, so if you time it correctly toward an off hour, you’ll have no problem with parking. BYOB if you are eating it, they have a medium sized seating area that is always nice and clean and the service has always been very attentive and efficient. One of my favorite places.

Amazing experience! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I brought my dog, and they seated us outside, even providing her with food and water. The atmosphere was great, and the place was well designed. A wonderful experience all around!

This is such a cool place, 3 mins away from the board walk. The atmosphere is great and the food is good. Oysters: very fresh Mussels with marinara: this can't be wrong. Lots of mussels in the sauce, but the bread was soggy. Seafood paella: tons of fresh seafood well balanced with some vegetables and rice. One thing, so many servers are willing to take away our plates as if they want us to leave quickly even though it was not a peak time. One after another, and the other asked us if they could take plates within 5 mins.

Just had to give a special shoutout to Shannon at the front. We were dining outside with our baby when a storm rolled in out of nowhere. My husband ran home to grab the car while I waited with our (very large) stroller as the wind started to pick up. We couldn’t find our waitress but Shannon noticed us. Even though there was already a wait for indoor seating, she ran outside, told us to come in, and personally moved tables and chairs to make space for us. She had her team transfer our entire meal inside and made sure we were taken care of without hesitation. That level of customer service is rare — we’ll absolutely be back because of it.

Point Lobster Bar & Grill never disappoints! From the incredible food to the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, every visit is a great experience. My go-to appetizer is the tuna nachos—absolutely delicious—and my favorite entrée is the pork and clams. The pork is unbelievably tender and full of flavor. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more casual, try Point Lobster on Channel Drive. The oysters are super fresh, and the tuna bites are hands down some of the best we’ve ever had. No matter which location you choose, you can’t go wrong. Highly recommend!

Warning! We called at 7:00 tonight and when we asked for reservations the manager said “I can’t but I will”. After we asked what she meant she said she can give us reservations for 8:30. We showed up at 8:15 and she told us the wait would be 20-30 minutes and proceeded to tell us that she in fact, never gave us reservations and only told us she could seat us after 8:30. Which was clearly not the case given the fact we called for reservations and only hung up the phone after we were satisfied having been given a reservation. She was very rude in both encounters. I’m sure the food might be okay but the manager sure isn’t.

We were seated in a booth that was akin to a plywood box with a plywood back. Since the dinning room was empty, I asked 3 times for my party of 5 to be moved. They refused to move us. Service was the worst I ever had and the food was okay, but nothing to write home about. Very tacky. If it wasn't so hot out, we would've left and walked to another restaurant. We'll never go back there again.

Little Mia's Pizza offers a delectable selection of pizza, boasting a wide array of styles and various toppings to choose from. Customers have attested to the superb quality and delightful taste of their perfectly crafted pizzas. Although there was some disappointment when one pizza arrived late after placing an order, it did not overshadow the overall positive experience. The compact interior space does not hinder the restaurant from making the most of its surroundings.
Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and you can tell they put alot of love and pride into there food from the ingredients to the way they serve it , also to note they go above and beyond for there customers from the kind gesture of giving you plates and cutlery . I asked to try there famous penne vodka sauce and I have to say it was bar none , it should be bottled and up for sale at the counter. The seating area was really cozy and the decor was so old school. I can't wait to try the rest of the huge menu , the grandma pies were out of this world , beyond fresh ingredients, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and freshly plucked basil. Delicious 😋. Until the next visit , I highly recommend you try this community point pleasant staple.

This review is based off of 1 time out of many! We usually go here once a week and get sandwiches and wraps, salad, or whatever we may get at the time and never have complaints. Decided to get the pizza tonight and omg when I tell you EVERYTHING was a mess, it was bad, complete waste of almost 50$. To be fair the people who are usually running everything in there werent the ones there tonight, but that doesnt excuse how bad the food was. First off my regular pie had a huge chunk of cheese just missing out of it and tasted like a pizza that sat all day and was reheated. The salad was not so much a salad as it was HUGE chunks of chicken and full strips of bacon with a very little bit of lettuce. Mind you we get this same salad all the time and it always comes with blue cheese being as it has garganzola cheese on it too, well we for some reason got a cup of oil&vinegar with it tonight instead. The pepperoni pizza was almost flavorless, like the only thibg you could taste was the pepperoni and was rather doughy. I would have contacted the owners directly via email or something but the only contact info they have is the number for the restaurant. Ive also attached pictures of tonights atrocities.

This was our first time ordering from Little Mia's & were pleasantly surprised. The individual pizzas were perfect & the meatballs, despite their small size, were delighted. Definitely our new to-go piza place!

Little Mia's Pizza II at 1011 Trenton Ave in Point Pleasant is my absolute favorite local pizzeria—authentic Jersey-style pies that hit the spot every time! The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, topped with fresh mozzarella and tangy sauce that tastes homemade, and their specialty slices like buffalo chicken are loaded with flavor. Super friendly staff who remember your order, quick delivery even on busy weekends, and the prices are unbeatable for the quality. Great for family nights or post-beach cravings!

I rarely ever give a negative review. But this piece of metal was inside my 5 year old’s dinner. Called the restaurant and they did not even care to see a picture and nonchalantly said to call DoorDash so I can get a refund. My kid choked on a sharp piece of metal, I think more attention should be paid to such type of issues rather than getting a refund from DoorDash? They lost our business and this issue will be escalated.

Conveniently situated near the NJ Transit train station and just a short stroll from Jenkinsons Boardwalk, it’s perfect for both locals and visitors alike.
Super cute. Food was excellent, fresh and they even offered the gluten free roll for our burger. Closing @ 3pm for the off season, look for extended hours in the summer! Highly recommend. And Mia was attentive & lovely as our server.

I'm not one to normally post a negative review, but I went to start my anniversary with my husband here for breakfast and was upset that $50 was honestly just wasted. I wouldn't recommend this place when there are so many other local shops that are worth it... The wait staff wasn't rude, but they don't check in to see if a drink is empty. When you order your "specialty" crafted latte, it's nothing special. It honestly is just a watered down latte. Not worth your $7. After a long wait, when our food did come out the plates were hot, yet our food was cold. Not a good sign. I'd like fresh food, not food sitting on a hot plate under a warmer... I ordered a simple biscuit and gravy, which was not only cold but very dry. Where was the sausage gravy? They really skipped on this one and not only didn't put any sausage gravy on the top biscuit part, but barely any on the bottom. The eggs were again, not only cold, but over cooked too. My husband ordered the Farmhouse Hash Bowl. Sadly, this too was cold and when you have cold brisket, it's a huge turn off. I'm sad that this one didn't work out as I'm a local and really wanted it to! Especially since when you walk in and see the bakery section looking so great! Overall, I sadly wouldn't return. It's just not worth the wait or the money.

Our waitress was lovely, but it was clear that the staff were having trouble with being organized. We had someone take our drink order which we didn’t receive until about 10 minutes after we ordered it. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict, assuming that it would be hard to mess up. The hollandaise sauce was mayonnaise. It was mayonnaise with a bit of lemon juice and an extra egg yolk for color. It was frankly repulsive and I barely stomached half (I scraped the hollandaise off as much as I could). The home fries were quite bland but they weren’t terrible, easily the best part of my meal. Otherwise, everything was decent diner food, generic, bland, and a bit salty, but palatable.

Were recently ate here twice on a recent visit to Point Pleasant. We came for breakfast and was not disappointed at all. The staff was nice and friendly and the coffee was good and BIG. The place is VERY clean and it was probably the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen in a restaurant. I would definitely return. We also bought some items from the bakery and while they were very fresh and tasty, they were a bit too sweet for us.

Me and my family came on Father’s Day. I completely understand that the wait to be seated took 25 minutes. However, when we sat and down and ordered, it took 30-36 minutes for the food to come to us and by this time the breakfast rush was slowing down. And IT WAS COLD. The avocado toast was so unappealing looking to have taken so long. The steak and eggs were so under seasoned it tasted like literally nothing. The salt and pepper tried to save it. Sadly the potatoes were the best part. The setting of the cafe is cute, and I expected some really great food. So disappointed and would not go again unless I was forced to.
Alivia — Google review
Not a good experience from start to finish. Quoted a wait time of 15 minutes for our party of nine, but it took closer to 45 minutes to be seated. There seemed to be several opportunities to put tables together, but that did not happen and many smaller parties were seated ahead of us. After we ordered drinks, the specialty coffee drinks were delivered before hot coffee. The hot coffee had grounds in most of the cups. Food was delivered very unevenly where one half of our table was served, and they were almost able to finish breakfast prior ro the other half being served. Other diners in the restaurant received food in between. And portions of the food was cold. Atmosphere is nice, but no plans to ever return.

Always on the lookout for a new place to eat, seeing this place being renovated brought some excitement. This morning we had the time to sit and enjoy a meal so we chose to come here. They did not disappoint, from the friendly owners, staff and decor, it was a win in my book. The colors certainly work well with the decor, and it didn't feel overly bright nor dim, and dark. The menu has a wide variety of drinks and meals to choose from, all reasonably priced. I chose the Farmhouse House bowl, which had shredded short ribs, onions, hash browns, and 2 eggs. I chose to have over easy eggs, and it was so good! It was a perfect amount of food for my liking, not left feeling overstuffed, and I'm definitely not hungry for more. Their coffee is not your typical diner style coffee, I found it to be rich and flavorful. My wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich, and it looked amazing. It tasted as good as it looked! We definitely want to go back for lunch one day and rumor inside the restaurant is they may experiment with a limited dinner menu in the near future! I'd suggest joining their mailing list or facebook page to see whats new. The only thing they didn't have was a specials menu, but thats just me wanting to see a chef's personal creations. They also have a small market in the same space, that you can buy fresh baked goods and coffee or meals on the fly. It also has a small variety of various items for sale.

Food was awesome! I got a yogurt parfait (you will need a bowl as well) and 2 biscuits. My husband got a bacon egg and cheese omelette with breakfast potatoes. Everything was delicious, and the biscuits are huge, and delicious. Then we hit the bakery. I got a coconut cream tart with toasted coconut sprinkled on top. Delicious, light, and airy! My husband got 2 huge soft baked oatmeal raisin cookies. Absolutely delicious! Next I'm trying the brownie, or the orange olive oil cake.....

Nestled in Point Pleasant Beach, Salsa Salsa is a charming family-owned restaurant that brings the vibrant flavors of authentic Mexican cuisine to life. Known for its welcoming atmosphere, this eatery caters to diverse palates with an extensive menu that includes everything from hearty supreme nachos loaded with chicken and beef to flavorful enchiladas de mole.
Seems google likes my reviews, meaning you guys. Salsa salsa was a quite wonderful establishment. I had just got off the 107 bus from where I live, and was a bit parched. I saw a beautiful, easy to read sign that said $5 margaritas, and like the words took control ), I levitated towards this wonderful little treasure trove. The margarita was so delicious, I got the blue freeze. The Mexican pride was in full effect in this very clean, very professional establishment. Smiling faces and happy staff was something I noticed. The food is well portioned for your wallet as well as your stomach. Would highly recommend grabbing at least a drink here. if you have 30 minutes and love delicious food, order something. You wont be disappointed

Authentic Mexican spot with a super friendly, family-run atmosphere and fun decor. Excellent food all around, I don't think you can miss on this menu. Great guac

I came here because of the reviews. The staff are friendly and the food is really good. My son chose the supreme nachos (it's a mix of chicken, beef, and (we skip the) carnitas). The amount of the nachos was gigantic, and they were generous with the meat and everything in it. The steak tacos were a bit dry but I love the corn tacos that came with it. I'll most likely choose something else the next time I come in.

We stopped here enroute to the Island Beach State Park and had a great lunch. This was a nice little Mexican place that offered a wide range of foods. We were a family of two vegetarians, two meat lovers and two kids. This place had options for all of us. We enjoyed the sumptuously served meals, each very filling and reasonably priced. The woman who seated, served and waited on us was very welcoming and friendly.

Amazing. You can immediately tell this is a family-owned spot that takes pride in making authentic Mexican food. Their breakfast tortillas had to be handmade - delicious. Would recommend the huevos con chorizo or a la Mexicana for a filling bfast you won’t regret.

I really wanted to like this place but it was a complete let down. I came here with a group of people based off of a recommendation by a local pizza shop owner down the street. I should have known something was off when I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was dead while all of the surrounding restaurants were packed. The experience with the staff was amazing. They were very friendly and explained the menu in detail. They were attentive the entire time but not overbearing. The food on the other hand, left much to be desired. I ordered the Turkey sandwich, brisket sandwich, coleslaw, Mac and cheese, and sweet tea. Both sandwiches were dry and I had to slather the Turkey in the homemade sauce to give it some life. The Mac and cheese - I don’t really know what to say other than it lacked flavor and there was no cheese pull - at all. The coleslaw was the best part of the meal. The sweet tea tasted like brewed Lipton with a dash of sugar. Overall the experience was not great - the two stars are for the staff and the coleslaw.

Food was great. Ordered half pound of brisket and half pound of pull pork to go and totally enjoyed the meat. However I have an issue with the portion size. When we got home looking at the meats it does not look like I have a pound of food. We put it on the scale and we got about 12 ounces of meat. It could be just a mistake but we are a little disappointed by that.

Empty place on a busy Saturday in the downtown area, however Offshore got good reviews. The menu was a little confusing and the two working had a tone like we should "already know" how they serve things while we were ordering. The food took incredibly long, but we thought it was going to be good. WRONG. I included photos because I would have appreciated someone else posting them so that I knew what not to order. I wouldn't fathom anyone's idea of a grilled cheese being burnt bread on the outside and cold cheese on the inside. Didn't even have the smoked flavor described on the menu. The Mac and Cheese should just be labeled "mac" because it was dried out and tasteless. I also ordered a sandwich, big slices of bread with soggy meat and sauce on the side. Alot of money and we threw everything away. We didn't bother saying anything because we were treated poorly to begin with. Always go to a place that's busy, lesson learned.

Worst lunch Ever!!!!! The pulled pork and mozz was burnt on both sides. Not slightly burnt, but inedible burnt. Mac n cheese was the worst I ever had. Overcooked and zero seasoning. Nothing creamy and cheesy about it. Right in the garbage. Called the business and received a rude guy who wouldn’t give his name. Said that’s how it comes and hung up on me. Very professional 👎🏻 Should’ve stuck with Woodchucks or Hickory Hog. I’ll never order here again and I will definitely spread the word. I’d give it a -5 stars if I could!!!!!

This is the second time eating at OBBQ. First time was back in early June and then today. I have to write, the St. L style ribs are excellent, superb, falling off the bone. Sweet tea is refreshing and the vinegar cole slaw offsets the meat portion.

Our out of town party of three visited recently and wanted to try lots of dishes and eat family style. Jordan provided excellent and patient service; one among us had many many requests and she continued to smile (thanks!). The frogs legs appetizer was unusual and quite delicious. Braised and so tender, they were served on a lemony caper sauce with Italian peppers and potatoes. Calamari was good but would have been more appealing if the breading was browned. House salads were very basic-lettuce and a couple tiny tomatoes and the house Italian dressing was orange in color. Different but good. The clams and linguini in white sauce had too much sauce but there were LOADS of clams. Spaghetti was solid; sausages and meatballs were spot on. The veal saltimboca was excellent but over sauced and a bit too cheesy for my tastes and the spinach was lost underneath the veal. We had two desserts, one pistachio, and one chocolate, and they were so good we practically licked the plates clean. The restaurant isn’t much to look at inside and is small. It’s also BYOB, so plan ahead. Overall a good place for a nice Italian meal.

Although we did not order any, the pizza looked and smelled delicious. We ordered several dishes, including 2 seafood dishes. Once was an appetizer, "Artichoke Alyssa" that was supposed to have "lobster meat and crabmeat". Another was "Veal Alla Hayley", which was supposed to have "lobster meat" in the sauce. I am using quotes because that is the verbatim text from their menu (pictures included in this review of the menu and dishes served) Neither dish had any crab or lobster meat. Instead there was copious amounts of shredded surimi. Beware if you order any seafood dishes here as they are clearly misrepresented.

First of all, I have been going there for 20 years. My niece came from upstate New York to have chicken marsala! First, we waited forever just to get service and to get bread. It took an hour to get an appetizer then we finally got our dinner and I had a fly in my food, which was absolutely horrendous. Everyone I was with could not eat their food second, it was 85° in there the air conditioner was not working. I do not want to eat if I’m hot. My niece almost passed out because it was so hot. Very disappointing this place went downhill. Don’t know what happened. Will not go back again and I am a local served warm water also and all of the paint needs to be painted. It’s all chipped and filthy. It’s disgusting. It is not up kept for standards of a restaurant that should be in point Pleasant.

There was a wet mop smell we had to get our noses blind to. It was a little odd walking through a door toward the back of a pizzeria to get to the dining room. Our server was amazing. The food was good, but not amazing. I had gluten free bolognese. The wedge salad was better than the bolognese.

The highlight of this place is its excellent grass-fed and grass-finished burgers that can be customized to your liking, all at an affordable price. Came here on a Monday after a track meet in the area. We were the only dine in customers. The place has a cool vibe. Love the indoor/outdoor dining. The person who took our order didn’t seem like she wanted to be there, she had no greeting. My husband and I had the classic Bam Bam cheeseburger. It had a sauce similar to thousand island dressing on it which I liked. However, the burger was not quite cooked to our liking. The bread and the meat tasted a little off, not as fresh. We got the cheese fries and onion rings to share. I enjoyed the onion rings and sauce. Our daughter had the chicken nuggets and cajun fries. The chicken nuggets were a little over breaded for her taste but the meat was good quality. My husband was hoping that the root-beer was served in a frosted mug but it was a bottled A&W root-beer. Update: Regarding the Frosted Mugs (one of your reviewers shared that you offer frosted mugs so this is what we were referring to) Overall the food was ok. We spent about $60. Would I go out of my way to come back? Eh.

Kohrs Frozen Custard, a popular ice cream shop with locations in New York and New Jersey, has sparked a debate over its ownership. While it originated in Coney Island, the perfected blend of orange sherbet and vanilla custard can be enjoyed on the boardwalks of the Jersey Shore. With stands in Lavalette, Ortley Beach, Seaside Park, and Seaside Heights, Kohrs Frozen Custard is an ideal treat for an evening stroll along the boardwalk.
Family day on the boardwalk! Seeing family and great grandma wanted to bring the girls to the same place she went to when she was a kid. As someone from Texas I only knew of soft serve in vanilla or chocolate, so this was a cool treat…. Literally

It was a overcast, chilly day at Point Pleasant. The beach was basically closed and the only activities available were playing arcade games and grabbing Kohr’s.

Best Soft Serve Ice Cream!!!! If you are in the area this is a must! I truly enjoy coming here with my family. Whenever we are craving ice cream this is our go to spot! We usually do the chocolate and vanilla twirl - so delicious. The soft serve is the perfect blend of creaminess and smooth yumminess! Cash only!!!

I've gone to Point Pleasant Boardwalk many times in the last 40-plus years. Every time, one thing is for certain there will be a line at the Kohrs frozen custard stand. They been serving frozen custard for 100 years! They have a lot of different flavors of custard & ice cream. People like the Orange Vannilla, Raspberry Vannilla, and Chocolate peanut butter. I opted for the homemade ice cream blueberry Vannilla. Good quality ice cream real blueberries 🫐. I enjoyed it ,the service was friendly & quick. Portions are good, from my experience. It is attached to a famous little fish & chips stand, too. That has some tasty hand cut French fries and funnel cakes. Kinda the perfect one two punch of flavors. It's worth checking out if you are visiting The Jersey Shore.

CASH ONLY! But Wait! They have an on site ATM with a $3.50 fee! I used to love Kohr's; it was a must have when visiting the boardwalk, but not anymore. Just two doors down, Mr. Softee takes credit cards and even has a huge sign letting you know. I usually carry cash, but with these astronomical prices ($6.50-$8.00 as of Aug 2025) for my wife and four kids, I'd need a bank loan to pay. To make things worse, one vanilla cone was a perfect shape and swirl, but the very next one was already melting all over the worker's hands as it was passed to us. It was impossible for my son to eat. Very disappointing all around.

1-Star Review for Kohr’s Frozen Custard (Point Pleasant Beach Boardwalk) Title: Absolutely Disgusting Hygiene – I Walked Away Without My Order! I visited Kohr’s Frozen Custard on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk today (July 11, 2025) and had one of the most appalling experiences I’ve ever had at an ice cream shop. I ordered a mint and chocolate swirl in a waffle cone dipped in chocolate, excited for a classic boardwalk treat. What happened next was straight out of a nightmare. The young employee scooped the ice cream into the cone just fine, but then he took it to the back to dip it in chocolate. From what I could see, the cone tipped over, and he caught the entire thing with his bare hand – resulting in chocolate smeared all over his hands. He then plopped the messy cone into a cup and casually asked if I still wanted it or if he should remake it. Shocked, I politely asked him to remake it. Instead of washing his hands or grabbing gloves, he went to the back room, pushed the ruined ice cream off the original cone into the trash (still with his chocolate-covered hands), and proceeded to prepare a new one using the same contaminated cone. No gloves, no napkins, no hand washing – just handling my food with sticky, dirty hands. It was beyond unsanitary and completely unprofessional. At that point, I couldn’t stomach the thought of eating anything from there. I told him thank you but I didn’t want it anymore, and I walked away empty-handed. This place clearly has no regard for basic food safety standards. Avoid at all costs – there are plenty of other ice cream spots on the boardwalk that won’t risk your health!

Watched them fill machines with non kohrs mix.didnt even taste like custard.was light and airy not custard dense.cash only so they can avoid taxes.vety disappointed.they should take the signs down since it's false advertising and probably a franchise violation.this was after labor day,so I don't know if this practice is in effect during the season.

I just asked 2 people behind the counter... They said they are absolutely NOT kosher... So I don't know where anyone is getting that they're kosher

Saltys Inlet Ice Cream is a newly opened spot that offers a variety of ice cream flavors, milkshakes, and Italian ices. The shop has received positive feedback for its pineapple dole whip with vegan vanilla ice cream and friendly service from enthusiastic young staff members. Customers can enjoy their treats at picnic tables outside the charming little structure or opt for delivery through DoorDash.
First time visitors to this establishment. 10/10 recommend. Huge portions and good prices. Great views and places to sit. Close to the boardwalk. Friendly staff and atmosphere! Hard ice cream, soft ice cream and Italian ice! Something for everyone!

First time at Salty’s and we enjoyed it! The ice cream was delicious, the servings are generous and the service was good. Lots of parking and there are plenty of tables to enjoy the treats. We were impressed at how clean the tables and surrounding area were.

I was here with my disability day program and what can I say about Salty's? The staff was super friendly and patient with the staff and clients and the ice cream was delicious. I ordered the Chocoholic Tsunami, and it was to die for. If you're in the Point Pleasant area near Jenkinson's boardwalk, this is the place to go. 10/10

This new ice cream shop kept the previous Strollo's Lighthouse's cute little structure. The young lady who waited on me was so sweet and enthusiastic to take my order. I got two scoops of the hard ice cream in a waffle cone, and it tasted really good. If you don't want to get the ice cream to go, you can sit at one of the few picnic tables. The prices for a scoop aren't bad for this area, and they have a decent menu selection. I wish the new owners the best of luck at this location, and I will definitely stop by again the next time I am in the area and in need of an ice cream fix.

Salty is truly an exceptional place. The girls working there are incredibly sweet, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I visit often, and my order has never been messed up, which reflects their commitment to excellence. Their rewards program is something I genuinely admire. I absolutely love the dole whip with vegan ice cream (swirl) and wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone who has a taste for delightful experiences. If you want to try one ice cream spot in Point Pleasant, let it be Salty's.

Nestled in the charming Point Pleasant Beach, Mugsy’s Mercantile is quickly becoming a must-visit destination for food lovers. Owned by local sisters Meg and Natalie LaManna, this delightful eatery offers a rotating sandwich menu that changes every Tuesday, ensuring there's always something new to try. During my recent visit on a bustling restaurant tour day, I indulged in their mouthwatering Turkey Big Mac and was thrilled to find an array of options available for takeout as well.
Tried 2 different sandwiches, the country chicken and the burrata primavera and really loved them both! Great attention to detail, the flavors were excellent. The bread also made the sandwich truly elevated and not just another sandwich. Get place to try for some unique options

I love this charming store in the heart of Arnold Ave! Chef made me a special vegan sandwich - spring veggies with homemade hummus. It was divine. I'm addicted to the vegan soups - so delicious. Grateful that there's something for everyone here at Mugsy's. Service is professional and friendly. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped into Mugsy's today which has been on my "get to" list for a while! Love the love they put into everything. The sandwich wrapping was the most fun "unboxing" experience I had ever for a sandwich and they are every bit amazing - got the last Cheesesteak Special of the day - not leaving that behind - and Hawaiian Campfire was on fire. Also got the tuna salad sandwich plus grabbed some fresh homemade pasta. Such a fun place - and local Chopped Champ gives me some bragging rights for PPB!

We came to town for a sad occasion my cousins funeral, she lived in this beautiful beach town. We found this reading reviews, and the reviews were 100% correct!!! This is an amazing spot! Fran was so friendly and accommodating, her suggestions were spot-on. We had Tuna and Salmon Sandwiches on rye with shaved pickles, totally fantastic! The tuna and salmon are fresh nothing is canned-all fresh and made by the chef Meg L., we also were informed that Meg will cater for parties etc.. we are definitely going to rent a place next summer and for sure have Meg cater an event. If you are in the area and want excellent food that makes you feel good then this is surely the spot! Go, enjoy, and eat well!

Love this restaurant so much! We were there for a baby shower! The place was just beautiful! Beautiful views with the water and boats going by. We saw a lot of star fish in the water. It was so cool! Not to speak how good the food is and how good the service is! Will definitely come back if we have a big event! It’s definitely a beautiful place for wedding and all kinds of parties!

Decent banquet hall, the service was very friendly and accommodating. The location had a very scenic view of the inlet. There were Two different rooms that were well manage. While we were present there were two different parties occurring at the same time with no interference or noticeable delays. Lots of parking. Full service bar, and the bar tender was very accommodating. For our party there was a well planned buffet line, dessert table and ice cream cart; which the kids loved! Thank you for making the family event memorable.

Nestled on the bustling main street of Point Pleasant, B2 Bistro + Bar is a charming eatery that beautifully blends rustic brick and wood accents with a welcoming atmosphere. This bistro boasts an inviting outdoor seating area where guests can savor European-inspired dishes alongside an impressive selection of craft beers and handcrafted cocktails. The menu features delightful options for both brunch and dinner, including crowd-pleasers like short rib grilled cheese and peaches and cream Belgian waffles.
I had been tasked with planning the first baby shower for my family, and B2 was on the shortlist of places we were looking at. After my first call with Shannon, I knew this was the place! She made herself available for every question I had along the way, and was very supportive and helpful. The day of the shower was a total success! The back banquet room was perfect for our group of 50+. The menu options we chose were all hits among our guests (we would have picked more if we were able!) Our bartender, Amanda, and servers, Nicole and Erin, were friendly and attentive. The whole staff at B2 had been just as invested in making this a day to remember as I was. We were even told that our event was as much fun for them to host as it was for us to be attending. Our group can't praise B2 enough for how beautiful this baby shower turned out. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!

B2 is unmatched. Our first visit, we tried brunch food and we were very impressed. Progressively, family has taken us out there after taking our children to the ocean county mall for some delicious food. My favorite thing on the menu is the pretzel with the sauce they give and the sushi. Easily the best sushi I have ever had. We have my son’s baptism booked in November of 2025 and we are super excited to have family try the food we have been raving about for months. Brian has been very accommodating in assisting us with our event details as it comes closer to the date; he even let us keep our deposit and move our date due to a family emergency. So friendly, attentive, and she had amazing recommendations. She made the whole experience even better. We ordered our usual favorites, the Sofia pizza and the Award-Winning Pizza, but this time we tried the Burrata Pizza…and wow. It was to die for! DISAPPOINTING. I live 2 miles away and ordered one large pizza for delivery. The estimate was for 45 mins but it took an hour and a half. The pizza arrived with soggy crust and at room temperature - no trace of warmth left. See photo. To be fair, aside from the fact that it was cold and soggy, the pizza seemed to taste all right, which is why I gave it two stars. If you want to try Zoni's, I recommend going in person and not risk a delivery.

Jake's Crab House is a relaxed establishment that specializes in seafood and shellfish. They also offer a wide selection of craft beers and cocktails. The menu consists of various dishes such as calamari, pretzels, salmon with Broccoli, onion rings, soft shell crab sandwich, Lobster Mac n cheese, and Smokehouse Burger with sweet potato fries. The portions are generous and the food is delicious.
This is the first time we have been. We have been going to the boardwalk for years almost every weekend and never tried this place. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. We walked right in, no wait on a Saturday in August!! The food was delicious. We got the calamari, pretzels, salmon with Broccoli and onion rings and soft shell crab 🦀 sandwich. All these dishes were excellent with very generous portions. It was pretty pricey but well worth it! Try it at least once!

The meat was good, too bad about everything else. The side of broccoli, they didn't even attempt to disguise as microwave-in-bag from the grocery store. The corn was good, too bad I had to insist we get it since we ordered meals that it came with. This place is chaos and there's no control over what's coming out of the kitchen. Avoid.

The worst food I've ever eaten. The food had no flavor, I ordered a plate of fried shrimp with fries and my boyfriend a plate of meat to the BBQ sauce and nothing tasted I put salt on it and it still didn't taste good. Very bad experience I was hungry and I just wanted to cry because I waited around 40 minutes to eat and when they brought me the food I couldn't eat. The food only looked good but it didn't taste good.. Apart from the fact that we paid $96 just for two dishes, too expensive to have no flavor.

I had early dinner at Jake's. I have to say that I was not impressed with the Lobster roll mostly because of the bread they used. It was just a regular hoagie roll with the lobster salad inside. It was dry, and did not pair well with the lobster inside. The wait staff was friendly, and we did not have to wait too long for our food.

Jenkinson's Pavillion Bar and Restaurant is a seasonal dining spot located on the boardwalk, offering picturesque ocean views and a menu featuring classic American dishes. I mostly come to Jenks during the busy summer months. Even though I prefer the Jenks at the Inlet, I still come here for a quick drink. The last time I got food was years back, and it was pizza, which wasn't too bad for boardwalk food. This place is always packed inside and out and can seem quite congested, especially during events. Prices for drinks are pretty cheap in comparison to other places I have gone to, and the bartenders are fast and friendly. If you are a person that isn't too claustrophobic, then this is a place worth checking out in Point Pleasant. But, one thing is for certain whether it is busy or not....you will always have a good time at Jenks!

No Manager came up to me to apologized nothing.

My husband had the fried chicken tenders were very good on our first visit and highly enjoy the blue moon on tap. On our second visit here we tried the salmon and avocado roll was excellent and tried out the blue moon yards me and husband. This is me and my husband’s favorite lunch spot. Our third time to the pavilion love the beach view great drinks and food. The raw bar is excellent.

Location perfection. Stopped in while walking the boardwalk and almost felt like entering an island oasis. Palm trees, cabanas, beach bars, good music, happy staff, and views that could rival a triple the cost tropical vacation. In the best location as far as walking distances, it couldn’t get any easier. Had a few apps and a couple drinks, which I highly suggest the tajin popsicle margarita!! A def revisit for some fun, and as always a couple adult beverages.

1st time visiting this spot and 1st time visiting this boardwalk. We were a group of three and decided to check out the oceanside dining restaurant which also has a bar, dance floor and stage with live bands. The services was very fast, when it came to food and drinks. Our waitress Madeline was very friendly and attentive. She had great energy and always had a smile, it showed she really enjoyed her job. She always checked on us making we we were ok. There's plenty of security with some being armed. Place was well maintained and clean. There was a live band with was awesome, they were called the cliffs. The over all energy here was great. I would definitely visit again and reccomend it to everyone if you're in the area. They also have outdoor seating aswell.

Diners rave about the delightful appetizers like calamari and the standout entrees such as Jamaican Jerk Mahi paired with coconut rice, which has garnered high praise for its authenticity.
Have been here several times and never disappointed. Small and quaint BYOB establishment. Good service and all the items are delicious. Had Jamaican Jerk Rubbed Mahi with peach habernero salsa and rice. Fresh, tasty and just the right amount of heat. I do suggest you call for a reservation.

What an amazingly pleasant surprise. Our dinner was amazing. Our servers (Nikki and Melissa) were very attentive and charming. We had calamari (so flavorful and fresh) and a pork chop that was perfect. My friend’s octopus was great too. Portions were very large, music upbeat and fun. I can’t wait till I am in the area to dine here again.

Cozy place with truly delicious food. Everything was so fresh! My husband, daughter and I enjoyed the flat iron steak, the pan seared scallops and the salmon. A real gem in the downtown area.

Great BYOB! The service was excellent. The food was delicious! The appetizers were creative and tasty. My husband had the shrimp and grits, a little spicy and greasy but yummy. My son had the Pasta Carbonara with Shrimp, delish!! I had the special, Jamaican Jerk Mahi with Coconut and black bean rice. I am of Colombian descent and haven't had a Coconut Rice this good at a restaurant in the US ever! Amazing! The desserts are great too. The Carrot Cake was delicious. The mud pie crust was a little hard but the rest was great!

If you're looking for a vibrant spot to unwind, Amendment 21 is the place to be! This lively hangout offers an impressive selection of craft cocktails and draft brews, all served in a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to linger. The menu features hearty comfort food options, including vegan delights that cater to various tastes. Guests rave about the friendly staff who are eager to whip up custom drinks tailored just for you.
We came here for cocktails and boy did they deliver. The staff was amazing. They made me a custom drink that was spot on. My wife and sister in-law had drinks off the menu and we're very pleased with them. The place was very clean and as closing time approached, they started their cleaning process. Wiping down everything. The bar tenders took time to talk to us and told us about the history of the bar. We did not order food but what we saw coming out to other patrons looked very good. I highly recommend this place as they made you feel welcome and provided an excellent experience!

Monday, 08/04/25, was our first time eating here. Went to try the Happy Hour and the Monday Burger Specials. Pros: No wait for a table, nice Pub atmosphere, free on street parking. Burgers were 2 for $25. with Fries, usual price is $19. each. Burgers were cooked as requested, well. No added fees if paying by card. Service was adequate. Cons: You had to ask for the Happy Hour Menu, it was not simply provided with the regular menu. Bathrooms were very tight / small and not wheelchair or disabled accessible. To substitute a House or Caesar Salad instead of fries is an upcharge of $2.50 each. The Caesar Salad was fairly good. A little too much dressing. The Burgers were thick, char grilled and juicey. But a little fatty. Compared to some other local places in Pt. Pleasant Boro and Brick, the Burgers were not as good. The Margaritas were a bit overly tart. The mini clip board used to hold / present the check should be tossed as it was stained and dirty appearing, see pic. Summary- Overall not a bad Bar / Grill. Personally, I would not order the Burgers again. And even with the special it was a bit costly. See all pics.

Great food and friendly prompt service! We make a point of eating here every time we visit Point Pleasant Beach! We ordered from the specials menu - Lamb gyro for my husband and Coconut shrimp tacos for me. Delicious!!!!

Holy moly the mahi tacos were absolute perfection. Would get them again in a heartbeat. My mom got a fish sandwich which she has confirmed was also good but did prefer my tacos after trying them. The server was incredibly kind and attentive (shout out blue hair) and the establishment itself was welcoming and fun. Our busboy was also very sweet! There was a pup with someone outside who seemed to have previously worked there (or currently) and most of the staff came out to greet him - thought it was a telltale sign that all the staff was friendly and enjoyed working there. Will definitely return!

A smaller bar that has a cool vibe, good whiskey selection, decent craft beer choices. Service is always good even with a crowd, they work hard. We both got hand held’s and liked them both. Recommend the NJ Cuban and an old fashioned.

This review is for Otra Vez Cantina (open only Fri & Sat). What a gem of a place!! I randomly found this place by walking by Amendment 21. It's located through the Amendment 21 entrance but upstairs. I had the mahi mahi tacos and they were delicious and well priced for the quality and portion. Mary was the bartender and she was fantastic. If you like tequila, this is a great spot for options. There are several craft cocktails to pick from on the menu, but Mary was great at also giving her own suggestions for modifications when asked. The music , ambiance, service, food and drinks were all fantastic. I really recommend checking this place out.

Jersey Mike's Subs is a sandwich chain located in New Jersey, offering large subs filled with various cold cuts and toppings. The location consistently provides an enjoyable visit, with fresh food and impeccable service. The manager has successfully assembled a passionate, motivated, and ambitious team that stands out among other restaurants. By prioritizing customer satisfaction, they have built a loyal customer base. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying their delicious cheesesteak on March 16th, 2023.
This was my first time at this location, and it was an incredible experience! I ordered a regular Italian sub and was asked if I wanted to add chips or a drink while I was paying, but I politely declined. The manager, or at least I assume he was, heard my response and generously offered me a drink on the house! It was a small gesture, but it meant a lot to me, and I truly appreciated it. A great example of leadership, loving what you do, and wanting your customers to have an amazing experience at your restaurant. The staff was fantastic—very kind, attractive, and respectful gentlemen! I’ll definitely be returning when I’m down the shore again!
Geiri M — Google review
Jersey Mike's Subs in Point Pleasant Beach is hands-down the best spot for a fresh, authentic sub on the Jersey Shore. Their bread is always baked in-house and super soft, and the meats are sliced right in front of you—love the #13 Original Italian piled high with all the fixings. The staff is friendly and efficient, even during the summer rush when lines get long. Clean shop, quick service, and those rosemary parm chips are addictive. Perfect for a beach day grab-and-go!
Christopher K — Google review
Every time I go in there the staff looks at me very awkwardly. It’s as if they’ve never seen a black man before. It’s a very prejudice feeling and vibe going there. The staff and owner there could benefit from an inclusion class. It’s as if they’ve never seen are waiting for me to steal something or be unnecessarily vulgar and incensed. I don’t believe I’ll be patronizing this establishment anymore. I get a sense they prefer the patrons that look more like them, I have no problems with that.

I called at 12:30 in the afternoon for one small sandwich I told them I would not be there until 1:30 when I got there the sandwich was not ready and it was still 15 more minutes before I was ready Wawa is right off the road and definitely faster and cheaper in price With no excuses. So if you want to patronize this please please call a day ahead of time.Btw I wonder what they tell their customers who walk in off the street it's going to be an hour before you get service stay away from this place it's a chain

Not a great experience for me today and Ive finally decided that i can no longer give my dolars to JM. Slicer got my order incorrect...kept asking me what size after I told him twice and then included fatty roast beef on my sub. When i told him i didnt want that, he didnt respond. Hoping he heard me I paid went home only to discover fat all over my sub. I returned and asked for my $ back. 6 employees standing there, no one said "hey sorry about that. also, a huge joke is that they actual think the amount of meat they put on your sub is sufficient. Ive put up with that for too long! Jersey Mike's subs used to be more generous, but now is simply a rip off! I live east of the canal on the farthest street east in the boro and I will take the longer trip to Colonial market anyday for a sub that's several dollars less and with far more meat on it.
Sherry C — Google review
Ate here recently and reminded me why it is a solid choice. Everything fresh and overall great experience. My only negatives have been during the Summer weekend craziness when it can be very busy and you may wait longer than you expect but I am not going to complain about that. I am glad they are busy.
C J — Google review
Oblivious High schooler poured so much of “the juice” on there that the sandwich was soaking wet a minute after getting it. Before I could stop him, it was in a pool of the stuff. Was nearly inedible, and I like the juice on there In this case, he just didn’t pay attention and kept going — but wouldn’t be a bad idea to train employees to ask if they want light, regular, or heavy (or something to that affect). Mine was beyond even a heavy, and just ruined the eating experience Will try it again in future though, and if customer service/prep is better, I will improve rating

I loved this place. We had a great experience. Got there early and got a table outdoor (we were the only ones outside at that point). Young cute waitresses were fast and helpful. I don't like home fries and didn't realize my meal came with them but was I pleasantly surprised! They were like french fries in cubes, not sure how to explain it but they were delicious. Got eggs and fresh avocado on toast and French toasts. All was delicious and took home some of the meal. Fair prices and good food. Definitely going back.

Sorry to say, but the food was terrible and way overpriced for what you received. I know it is probably family owned, but you can always tell when a place is cutting corners on their food. The worst home fries I ever had. Way over cooked. Omelets were overcooked to the point where there was a brown tinge on the bottom. Pancakes we're tiny 3 for 12.99. This may be convenient to your hotel, but don't go their.

We really enjoyed the waffle with bananas/ nuts and smoothie, and enjoyed our experience overall, however, the iced coffee served in a plastic cup was no bueno 🙁. If you're going to serve iced coffee, please get some better tasting cold brew. I took one sip and couldn't drink it. It would also be nice to have it served in a glass.🙂

It's one of the WORST places I've eaten in South Jersey. Cozy atmosphere with so much hidden potential, but service, cleanliness and food quality was sorely lacking. The waitress actually pulled a chair up to sit at our tiny table to take our order, and there were only two of us! Stuff on the floor. Condiments on the table were not clean. The presentation of what we ordered (salads) was awful. We had to return guacamole (slimy & too salty) and she merely said, "Oh, it's not made here so we can't do much about that," and still charged us for the chips (which we were not eating without guac); only took half of the cost off the check. She rushed us out after asking 3x if we wanted anything else, then got our desserts so wrong, we ended up with warmed up carrot cake with the icing melting off and a sundae we did not order instead of the simple plain scone we had ordered. I'd love to whip this place into shape to make it the gold mine it could be. What a shame!

I've been here at least three times and love it. They were very understanding of my dietary accommodations being gluten free. Very pretty and friendly atmosphere. I recommend going there early because it gets crowded by a certain time. Very nice small cafe if you're not a fan of big restaurants with big crowds.

I was walking by and decided to stop in for a breakfast sandwich to go. The sandwich came out in less than 10 minutes. However, it did not have any breakfast meat on it. We asked for ham, I even watched the girl write it down on the paper. But all we got was egg and cheese. So that was a tad disappointing. The sandwich was great, it would’ve been even better with the correct meat we ordered on it. They gave a generous side of fruit salad with it. Since it was takeout, I didn’t check it before we went. I wish I would’ve. Definitely a cute little place with a great vibe inside.

This is my second time at The Offshore and it was a pleasant experience. My first time was years ago, so I don’t have much memory of it. We made a reservation for 4 and were sat upon arrival. It’s a very cozy atmosphere. I honestly would love to sit at the bar. It has at least 2 fireplaces, which makes it perfect for off season as well. Our server was absolutely lovely. She was kind and patient and attentive to our needs. We started with drinks from the bar which were served quickly and strong. The Spicy and Greasy Rhode Island Calamari was a great choice for an app. It was definitely spicy! The calamari was tender and delicious. The salad with the house dressing was fresh. The dressing is very good and the homemade croutons added a nice touch. For my entree, I ordered linguine with white clam sauce. The clams were plentiful, but the sauce lacked much flavor. That is my only wish for improvement. The servings are massive! Definitely brought home leftovers. My mom got the flounder francaise and loved it. Another member of our party got the meatball appetizer as her meal and enjoyed it. We have an overall nice experience, plus it has a dedicated parking lot which is an added bonus!

I picked this restaurant to have dinner at the last minute, and as soon as I walked in, I really liked the vibe. The place was packed, and the hostess was nice enough to put me at the bar even though it seemed like a bit of a tight squeeze between a few other patrons. I ordered the pan seared crab cakes entree, which comes with asparagus and mashed potatoes. The crab cakes were really good and weren't dry. The mashed potatoes, however, were good but desperately needed some salt. So overall, the meal was decent. The restaurant itself is very lovely and the service I got was great. The bartender whipped up a wicked cocktail, and there wasn't a wait time on getting my food order. They have a good-sized food and drinks. menu, and the prices here are reasonable for the Jersey Shore. In closing, I could see myself eating here again. I will just have to make a reservation in advance to get a table rather than sit at the crowded bar.

Very random choice by my wife and I. Walked in, 20 minute wait but found and ate at the bar. Solid drinks, wife had a Paloma really good. Great appy menu, got a raw bar sampler and watermelon and feta salad to start. Raw bar items, very solid, watermelon salad excellent. Unfortunately I forget the bartenders name, she was awesome, mentioned all the salads were top notch. Mains, wife got crab cakes, 2 in the entre, good size and delicious. Me, pork chop, I am a pork chop guy, top 5 pork chop. Cooked perfectly, and well seasoned and perfect with the cherry peppers served with it and the roasted potatoes were insane. Again, a random choice, literally on the walk and could not have been happier. Go for your next nice dinner.

Ancient Bread Pizza is a renowned pizza establishment that specializes in crafting delectable pizzas using traditional methods. This pizzeria has gained immense popularity for its rich flavors and unique toppings. Patrons can relish a wide array of mouthwatering pizzas prepared with high-quality ingredients, resulting in an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant's commitment to maintaining the authenticity of their recipes is evident in every bite, as they skillfully blend various spices and herbs to create a perfect balance of flavors.
Went there due to reviews about the best pizza and Zeppoli‘s better than the boardwalk. I was heading to Jenkinson’s Boardwalk 11/9/21 to enjoy the beautiful weather and thought I would check out some best known pizza joints in the area with awesome reciews. In my opinion the reviews were not accurate. I have traveled a lot and visited many places and made many reviews. I pride myself in being extremely straightforward with the truth. I have had pizza and Zeppoli’s at many places in NJ and PA, including Jenkinson’s Boardwalk. I must say that the pizza here looked awesome but, tasted bland. The Zeppoli‘s did not even resemble anything as what we know Zeppoli‘s to be. They were horizontal pre-shaped extremely chewy dough Drowned in powdered sugar. The garlic knots looked good when i ordered them but, when I got them they were slapped with mozzarella sliced cheese on top. As part Italian you can never have too much mozzarella but, when the dough is chewy it was pretty disgusting. $50 later I was expecting a wonderful experience and unfortunately, that did not happen. I am sorry but on the boardwalk the pizza isn’t great however, the tast is better than this place. In addition the Zeppoli’s at Chippy’s on the boardwalk are the best so far. Anyone reading this review just want to let you know this is a pick up joint only there is no dining in and it is a bit of a hole in the wall. I did not try the ancient bread pizza which I thought this place was called and was kind of confused pulling up to it and seeing that it is called by another name. Also, I hope these people were vaccinated because neither the counter person or cook who was coughing constantly had a mask. Just saying. 😏

As a person with Celiac, I ordered penne Ala vodka with gluten free pasta. After I paid for my meal they decided to inform me there was flour in the vodka sauce. I asked for a refund on the meal since I cannot eat that. They offered to make another meal, but after telling me all their sauce has flour in it, that was unreasonable nor did I wish to wait while my family's other food got cold. I asked for a refund on the pasta, they offered a gift card instead. Since I am in the area only on vacation, this didn't help either. I asked again for a refund and was told they couldn't refund a credit card, I'd have to get on the phone with the credit card company. How does one own a business and not know how to do such a transaction? Anyone with gluten issues beware because this establishment is ignorant of these issues and beyond unprofessional as they made it seem that I was unreasonable.

At Quarter House, not only is the food genuinely Cajun, every single item is fantastic. The only reason you'll have food left on your plate at the end of a meal is because you were too full to finish! I wish this place was closer to me so I could go again and again. Also - I heard there are people who eat here and complain that the food is "spicy". For one, although plenty of the dishes have a light spice to them, it fades quickly and is delicious. Secondly, this is a Cajun restaurant and that's a lot of what Cajun food is about. Thirdly, they have options that are not spicy at all and still amazing - so please just go and have a great meal! Attached pictures of the entire menu, but please note some things may be seasonal.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Food was delicious. They have fried green tomatoes. One of my favorites. Crab cakes are crab cakes and not a lot of filler. Cheesy grits and shrimp with bacon was amazing. Limoncello cake for dessert was night and creamy. Seem to be the favorite dessert of the evening. Good atmosphere and best of all it's BYOB. Little on the pricey side but you won't be disappointed.

The food and staff are amazing. Having just returned from New Orleans, I can honestly say that The Quarter House Restaurant in Point Pleasant, NJ offers an authentic NOLA experience.

We had the broiled oysters for an appetizer (not on the menu our server suggested them) they were incredible! I had the jambalaya with shrimp and my fiancee had the fish of the day (think it was mahi) both dishes were awesome. My jambalaya had the perfect amount of spice. Would highly recommend.

We went to Quarter House for the first time to try their Oyster special on Thursday evening. The oysters on the half shell were delicious but the char boiled oysters were phenomenal! We had a great experience and look forward to going back to try some of their Cajun inspired dishes!
