What a fantastic evening!!! Traffic was typical N.Y.C. traffic on a Friday during rush hour, but hey... I'm going to a Football game at MetLife stadium. Just when I thought that was cool enough, I got even better. Platinum Parking 😉👍 I could hit the stadium 🏟 with a rock I was able to park that close. Upon entry of the stadium 🏟 all the staff that worked there were extremely polite and helpful. On to the seats and was one tunnel over from where we were supposed to be seated. So, back down the stairs and wanted to take a little short cut through what looked to be a restaurant. We opened the door to enter and a woman greeted us right there, noticed we weren't wearing wristbands. So we were unable to enter. This is where our evening took a turn and got even better. She asked us a few questions about our tickets and to our surprise, she advised us that were were entitled to Dine at the Resteraunt. All and anything we wanted to eat and drink... get this... on the house!! 🤯 It did not cost so much as a penny. The food, perfectly cooked rare London Broil sliced to perfection. Chicken grilled, Chicken fried, Pasta, Meatball, Sausage and Peppers 🌶... the list continues. Then deserts 🤯 Specialty Cookies 🍪 😋 Chocolate 🍫 Vanilla 😋 Canolis wrapped in chocolate shells, Many types of Ice Cream.... Good Lord!!! I'm in Heaven 😇 So then, on to our seats 💺 💺 and just when I thought I was in Heaven, I discovered that Heaven has a 2nd floor 🤯 Our seats were on the 50 yard line 15 rows up!! Schwing!!!! The seats were cushioned, the view was phenomenal. The food was fantastic. The whole evening was perfect. I would really enjoy having this experience again and again!!! I can't wait to go there again.
MetLife Stadium is a massive and impressive venue. I went for a Zach Bryan concert, and being on the floor was an amazing experience—you really get to take in just how huge the stadium is when you’re surrounded by it. The way they set up the stadium for the concert was excellent, and the sound system and speakers were very good. There’s plenty to see around the stadium as well, with cool memorabilia and décor throughout. Security is very tight, but it’s well-organized, and there are many helpful employees around the stadium to point you in the right direction. Food and drink options are plentiful, and parking is widely available (we paid $40 to park). Overall, an incredible venue for a concert, game, or event—both the atmosphere and organization make it a top-notch experience.
First NFL game ever. Great atmosphere. Loved the supporters and loved how they kept the crowd entertained. Would highly recommend anyone going to this venue. Security and safety important for all persons attending. Aussie dollar is low so expect to pay around $38aus for basic hotdog and one alcohol can beverage.
I'm a lifelong NY GIANTS fan and my sister and I were in MetLife when Big Blue crushed The Eagles. My sister is a Breast Cancer survivor and I took her to see her very first football game -- it was truly a PLATINUM experience!!! I reserved Platinum Parking and we sat in Sec 135, Row 5 right off the field and my sister was so ecstatic. It was such a blessing to spend quality time with her and also a WONDERFUL PLEASURE to see the birds go down 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Parking was paid for prior to the game. Upon arrival the parking staff asked if we had platinum or gold parking. We had gold. They had us go all the way around the stadium to a gravel parking lot across from the mall’s parking garage. The parking lines in the gravel are spray painted. There is no security, lightweight chained link fence, and plastic barriers. We had to cross 3 streets, walk into the mall parking lot, walk across the parking lot into the bridge that brought us to the gates. I noticed plenty of stadium parking so I’m not sure why we were forced into an unsafe parking lot. We got to the stadium with plenty of time before the start of the game. The staff scanned the parking pass and said pull in here. That parking lot should be 10.00 park at your own risk. Then at halftime the stadium ran out of food. No more cheesesteaks, just sausage no peppers or buns, hotdogs with no buns, NY Jets trays handed out at the NY Giants game because they ran out. I’m extremely disappointed and I feel taken advantage of. We paid a lot of money for terrible parking and then to be asked to pay full price on food that was missing its main ingredients. It’s a very greedy thing to do and it’s not right. I would love to hear from the corporation regarding this.
A nice stadium, home of the Giants and the Jets NFL teams. You can see the games very well from anywhere. The concession stands are very well located and there is plenty of them. There is alot of parking and perfect to tailgate. The access was easy and as easy to get out. Very nice experience.
The game was amazing 49ers at Giants and we were so excited. Hubby is a Giants fan and I am a 49ers fan, we also took a friend who is a Giants fan as well. Stadium was amazing the staff we encountered were fantastic. Only downside was the lack of food options, maybe it was just the section we were in im not sure. But there wasn't many choices of food. Other than that the stadium was great!
It was my first time at MetLife stadium. It’s quite overwhelming, but the staff were all really nice and good about getting you where you needed to go. We were coming from Brooklyn and took NJ transit with the two transfers. It’s nice and convenient how the station is just outside of it and all the staff were great at guiding people back on to the train and home. All in all, a good experience. Even got to eat a pretty decent cheese steak sandwich. I only had to go to the bathroom once and it was AFTER the concert and it wasn’t even a poop. That’s a huge plus! After eating that cheesesteak sandwich. Must’ve been the soothing sounds of Michael Romance.

Excellent buses very polite personnel, clean buses
We were assured we’d be transported to the 1:45 ferry to Ellis island and were told that city tours was a part of NYC transit. Also told that city tours was the only company that could get us there. Both a lie. When we missed the ferry they would not give us a refund. Shame on you city tours—-especially when we found out we could take bus to ferry terminal and pay less than $20 each for tickets. They charged us 118$!
We booked a premium private transfer service with City Tours USA via an agency, expecting peace of mind after a transatlantic flight. Instead, we were left stranded at JFK airport. Despite informing the assigned driver of our progress through immigration (which took about two hours, as is common), the driver left us behind claiming he had another service. The agency later told us to find our own way to the hotel — no support, no alternative. We paid in advance for a higher quality service and ended up taking a regular taxi at our own expense, after a long and exhausting arrival. Extremely disappointed by the lack of foresight and coordination. I do not recommend this company.
Buyer beware! Do not let the ticket hawkers at the Staten Island ferry terminal talk you into their so called $34 1 hour river tour to the Statue of Liberty , Governors Islandand Staten Island. You'll actually be charged $54 dollars to walk a quarter mile to a bus, sit for 30 minutes on the bus, only to have the bus go right back from where you came, heading east through traffic and construction sites, only to have the bus drop you off on the street next to an active construction site. The bus drive tells you NOTHING. We had to demand that the "guide" explain what was going on... After 15 mins of standing on the street, the guide finally walked us another quarter mile through traffic and construction around one of the far eastern boat terminals. We waited ANOTHER 15 minutes in line while they checked our tickets again. They then took us to an ancient and decrepit boat. The lower levels were beyond filthy and smelled horrible. We waited another hour before the boat finally moved. Totally NOT worth it. Please don't waste your time with this horrible excuse for a boat tour. A complete nightmare, and a complete waste of time and good money.
As always great customer service! Cannot be more proud of been part of this organization!
(Translated by Google) We took the American Fantasy tour excluding Washington. Both Ayrleen and Toby are wonderful professionals and made our trip unforgettable. As a newfound lover of New Jersey bar pies, I've been on a mission to uncover the best spots--and New Park Tavern is undoubtedly among them. Though I've visited before, today felt like the perfect opportunity to swing by with the wife for some brews and a pizza fix. Stepping into New Park Tavern is like taking a step back in time, where the bar takes center stage and the atmosphere oozes old-school charm. We kicked off our afternoon with a couple of crisp Stellas, perfectly paired with two small pies: one white and one topped with sausage, onions, and peppers. Both pizzas were a revelation--just a touch thicker than your typical bar pie, yet retaining that perfect crispness that makes every bite a delight. Despite being a bit understaffed for a bustling Saturday afternoon, the wait staff handled things with grace and efficiency, ensuring we were well taken care of. All in all, it was an experience that cemented this spot as a go-to. Delicious food, great vibes, and that timeless tavern feel? Count me in. I'll definitely be back!
A local legend, eatery and hangout for my family for 90 years this place is a treasure Great food, Great atmosphere, which plenty of North Jersey workingman and community vibe. Been the family meet up and wake center for generations. This place knows how to do a True Irish/American wake one of the few who do with hidden private diningrooms you can't go wrong at the New Park Tavern.
We walked about a half mile (slight incline) from the Homewood Suites while I'm town researching family history. We had a really good cheese and sausage pizza, hard canned cider, and a hard canned sangria. It was a pleasant visit, just a little confusing on if we should have seated ourselves or not.
It can get busy during peak hours, but the energy of the crowd only adds to the atmosphere. Perfect spot for catching up with friends or kicking off a night out.
Stopped by for a beer and bite on St Patty's Day !! Great meals... good service and got to sit outside since nice weather !!! Loved the special - opened faced corn beef sandwich on rye bread with melted provolone cheese smothered on top! Delicious. Side of fries and another order of grilled chicken also. With 2 pints of " Black & Blue," loved it!
Pizza was delicious.Service was good.Nice spot. One thing that I thought that was odd, when sitting at bar a waitress would come over and take your odd and you were charged separately.Other than it would as a very nice spot.
We were in the mood for thin crust pizza, so we came here. I'm not a fan of the mushy texture of the sausage on the pizza. The plain one was ok. We also ordered a cheesecake, which they out of .so we chose chocolate lava cake with ice-cream the waitress got that wrong and brought a chocolate chip one with ice cream. Not a fan, no lava. It broke open and dry.
Best pizza ever, the thin crust is to die for. The french Fries are so crispy!! The staff is so welcoming and always treats us wonderfully. The staff knows our order by heart which means a lot and they look out for their regulars.

Amazing food and great place I got the fettuccine à la Vaca with chicken and the portion size is amazing. I love it and I can see the horses race each other. It’s pretty cool experience.
Horse racing can be a very good time and the Meadowlands race track can provide that! I've been there a handful of times for live racing and in terms of driving there, parking, and entering there has never been congestion. If you do go for one of their event like the hambletonian except some lines and wait. The track itself, seating and the venue is awesome! You can make it a great time for family, friends or kids. Just know that there will be an environment there of habitual betters and people who do off track betting. There is a subculture for that. Also the fan duel bar that is within the track house is not much to rave about. Considering all of this it's Def a place to visit and check off the list.
Cool place to go with friends. Something to do. Some employees are nice and others are just not happy. Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Bathrooms were clean.
We went to go watch UFC on the 2nd floor. Forgot the name of the bar... when ypu go in the main entrance, go up the elevator and past the window seating to the velvet ropes. They got this big blue-lit room with a bunch of huge projected screens. The drinks were $25 each (what do you expect from the Meadowlands?), but we weren't there to get lit. We were there for the UFC. Anyhow, if you have the time and some extra cash, it's a lit different than your average sports bar.
This place has changed so much since the last time I was there as a kid. I can’t remember it completely but I can say it’s so clean. Went there to bet on the derby, you can also do all your sports betting here! Seems all the lighting is led now, super bright. You have views of MetLife Stadium and The American Dream Mall. Food isn’t bad! It’s also an awesome place to watch the sunset!
Would be 5 stars if it wasn't a concert weekend. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Wonderful experience.
The new facility is progression of Harness racing Unfortunately old school fans have never acclimated to the new changes. It’s very different. And in discussions amongst patrons there a lot agree I was a regular 2 to 3 times a week player there. Now in a facility that has chased old school fans and players away. In a game where they can’t get young people interested. Its fate is sealed. A shame. I give them an A for effort I get the downsizing aspect of it. But in the end it should have all ended when the State sold out But it’s a dying game
Krissy is an absolute sweetheart at guest services. She helped us book a special reservation andanswered all of our crazy questions everytime we called back. :) Thank you Krissy! You deserve a raise!

Great market worth the drive, free parking with available port a pottys. Be prepared to walk as this is one of the larger markets. A wide range of things to purchase as well as food vendors. Make sure you get a loaf of bread before you leave. Prices are reasonable as well.
New Meadowlands Flea Market Review — 4/5 Stars The New Meadowlands Flea Market is a great destination for anyone who loves the thrill of bargain hunting and outdoor shopping. It has a wide variety of vendors offering everything from clothes and collectibles to larger items like cars and kayaks, so there’s always something unique to discover. One of the market’s best features is the diversity of both the products and the people. It’s refreshing to see such a mix of nationalities in both vendors and shoppers, creating a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. For me, visiting this market brings a wave of nostalgia, as it’s one of the few places left that reminds me of the old US 1 Flea Market in New Brunswick. That same sense of discovery and variety that made US 1 such a memorable spot can be found here, making it a comforting, familiar experience. Deals are plentiful, and you can always find something that catches your eye, whether it’s vintage items, electronics, or just an unexpected gem. The food options also add to the appeal, with plenty of tasty meals to enjoy while you shop. Overall, the New Meadowlands Flea Market is well worth a visit. Whether you’re here for the bargains or the atmosphere, it’s a great way to spend a day. For those of us who remember the US 1 Flea Market, it’s a great modern substitute.
This flea market is fun to walk through. Tons of vendors for new and used stuff.. Also food vendors are fun to try all the yummy food. I love all the produce vendors. I find fuit I cant find anywhere else. This isna muat try if you have never been.
Hit it or miss. But it if you look hard and long enough you can always find some great deals. Some vendors are not there every week while others are. Clothes, food, cosmetics, games, electronics, tools, and almost everything else you can think of is for sale here. However, some items vendors are selling can be found online for the same or cheaper prices.
Great outdoor flea market with free parking and admission. Love the food vendors and the atmosphere. Definitely would come back!
It was a good experience for my.friend who sold and for me who helped her and went shopping. I think being able to leave items at the end is great but the fee is steep to cover that
My first experience at a flea market in USA was really great! This place have a lot of stuff you can't imagine you will find, some antiques at very good price and new products. You can find anything you are looking for and more (clothes, shoes, crockery, furniture, food, random items...). I found new artistic paint brushes for only $3 and a very good quality of a belly dance outfit for $20 as new. I would go again the next time. 100% recommend.
Been coming here for years! Great Saturday afternoon. Good exercise too. Terrific bargains, new and old. Always check the website calendar for open dates. They may be closed, due to an event at the stadium. Nothing to lose…..so take a try.

Only weeks before Christmas last year, I had called to check on the availability of an OLED Switch console in white, since it was on my son’s wishlist. The owner was able to find one and have it ready for pickup well in advance of the holiday. We visited yesterday to enjoy a few hours in their gaming lounge, since it had been a while between visits. We enjoyed some retro gaming fun with both of my boys. Also picked up some Pokémon cards while we were there, and inquired about a card binder that they had previously had available. Less than 24 hours later, the owner messaged me with an image of the binder we were looking for and says he can get it for us. This is what you receive when you shop at a locally owned store! Exceptional customer service and the knowledge that you’re supporting a person, not a corporation.
Had an absolutely great experience here! I was able to get a brand new Nintendo Switch today 12/2/21, the week after Black Friday and with the holidays coming up. All of the other major retailers in the entire state of NJ were all sold out, and after driving around for hours to different places, calling the major retailers, being put on hold multiple times, and being told that the Nintendo Switches were sold out everywhere within a 200+ mile radius, I decided to try my luck by giving Side Scrollers in East Rutherford a call after Googling “Video Game Store Near Me”, and thankfully they had it! So I rushed over as quickly as I could and left a happy customer! This is why it’s super important to support LOCAL! Especially in this day and age with everything going on over the last year and a half. They’re store is very clean, the staff are very friendly, and I had the pleasure of meeting with the owner who was super cool and down to earth. I’m definitely going to be go back here in the future and to whomever is reading this, I’d highly recommend supporting this business!
Absolutely fantastic! Great atmosphere, super friendly and welcoming staff. I went there to purchase Pokémon cards from a collection that was sold out everywhere else, except for online, and they actually had some in stock. Even if they hadn’t, I would still give them 5 stars. I went in while there was a tournament going on. The employee was able to maintain a conversation with me while also making the announcements for the tournament. Fantastic experience. Can’t imagine how people are putting 1 stars for such a fine establishment. I can’t fathom how wearing a mask can be such an inconvenience for some.
Extremely glad I found this place. I started getting back into YuGiOH around last summer and was extremely grateful to find a shop so close that hosts tournaments. The owners Justin and Audrey are always respectful and understanding when it comes to explanations and easing you into the game. They host a bunch of other games too and have a great collection of consoles games too just give a call to find out. The tournaments are always a good environment and the people are all understanding for any newbies that may feel shy to want to participate with other players. Look forward to many more visits and success for Side Scrollers !
I went here for the first time on 11/7/21 for my first ever yugioh locals, and I have nothing but great things to say! Everyone who worked there was really nice and the tournament was really well organized. The other players were all really helpful as well, which made for a really great atmosphere. Big thank you to everyone involved, I will definitely be going back!
Great atmosphere of players during yugioh locals when I attended for the first time. The people running the store were attentive and new rulings which helped. Definetly will be attending in the future for more events.
Excellent game shop. The attention to detail definitely makes a gamer feel at home, irregardless of age. The shop owners Justin and his wife Adrian are super kind and helpful. I wouldn't have given Magic the Gathering an attempt at all if they weren't so patient with introducing the game while teaching me the ropes every step of the way. I recommend any card gamer, video gamer, gamer gamer; vet or noob go to check them out. 5 stars easy.
Went in here about a week ago with the intention of purchasing a switch and a couple of games. However the staff refused to serve me as I wasnt wearing a mask. Now I have no issue wearing a mask since many people have been and are still negatively affected by COVID. Even after I told the staff that I planned on making a large purchase I was told that they don't even have a mask to provide me. Your store lost out on a $500 sale because of a 25c mask. Your store may want to reconsider accomadating customers with masks if you choose to be a minority store that still requires them. Most stores don't require them so most people don't have them on their person. How many thousands in sales has your store lost due to this short sightedness? The refusal almost felt political in nature. As if to say since I chose not to carry a mask on me my money is no good here. I will NEVER shop here again. I took my business elsewhere to digital press in Clifton. Not only were they only more accommodating, they had a better selection/deals too!
