I have treasured memories of my time at this Parish❤️! A registered parishioner during Fr Massimo's tenure from whom I learnt SO MUCH about my faith. To me this Parish is a home which I can go back and feel the love and comfort. I got "adopted' by Daddy William Whittaker (RIP Dad, I miss you so much❤️😔) and his family. I became an Adorer. And spent many hours of peaceful rest and restoration in the Chapel, which I still do now and again when in Durban. We went up in the SkyCar for a proper postcard view of Durban’s coastline, then lingered on the arch just to watch the city breathe. It’s clean, well-run, and surprisingly calming up there.

We took the SkyCar up the arch just before sunset and the view over Durban stopped us in our tracks, ocean on one side, city stretching on the other. First of all, I did not visit the location due to any Religious aspect or reasons, it was due to my wife writing her correspondence examinations at the venue. While I was awaiting her completion however, I did walk around given the ample duration and got to chatting up the Pastor, Assistants and even Security and Maintenance guy. What I found us that no matter who I came into contact with, they had a special goodness, if you would, about them. This clearly showed that the leadership practices and promotes a way of being good and kind to all people. I also found the site itself to be well maintained given the obvious age thereof. The grounds are really lovely, spacious and has some nice plants and design concepts. I do believe this speaks volumes of the Church and grounds so I am truly glad to have had the opportunity to visit there. If you find the same, I therefore recommend the same.

Was impressed with the age old beauty, of this historic old church. The old herring bone wood flooring and wood panelling is intriguing and so is the great looking altar. A fine tribute to God our Father. During the funeral service I attendid, a feeling of absolute calm prevailed, during the spoken word by the two ministers preaching and hymns sung by the congregation in attendance. Firstly on arrival... It was hard for parking.. With seniors in the vehicle.. They walked. To the place.. Then crowds of people trading on the pavement were forced out by metro.. A sad sight. I visited this hidden gem of a temple today and the pundits were welcoming and helpful.
There is beautiful function hall for hire and they are midst extension.
There is a beautiful peepal tree and Sanishwara prayer spot for lamp lighting, a dedicated enclave housing for each Deity for worship purposes, outside wash area and Prasad offering place with the temple stocked with Prasad fruit and camphor , incense etc for worship purposes.
You are not asked or forced to offer tribute and this is your own will. The temple will accept donations and you can step into the office to ask what they need or proffer help.
The murtis are well tended, clothed beautifully, cleanliness at peak and the entire atmosphere is one of peace. Do visit this hidden gem and oasis of spiritual enlightenment.

It teaches theology more to expand your knowledge in the word of God and opens your spiritual and natural eye in understanding why and when some events took place in the Bible and who God is.
Not many churches offer that in these days.
Ps Ross and the team are amazing in delivering or teaching the Word in that fashion.
I have been going there since 2018. At first, I thought I was too white for me, and I wouldn't fit in or enjoy it. Boy, was I wrong 🫠.
The church has grown and has embraced the multiracial community that it has over the years, and the worship is always on fire 🔥.
If you are looking to grow your faith and knowledge in the word of God and historical events that took place around those times , then this is the church for you!

My divorce was not cleared in Mar-24, we were told it was DHA fault when trying to print in Jul-24. Multiple trips to DHA myself Jul-24 to Sept-24, finally sorted divorce status myself Sept 2024, only to be delayed further by Gert advising DHA Umgeni had a backlog, Supervisors confirmed they don't.
October, requested our originals back and personally took our registration papers (DHA-1766) paid R20 and got our certificate printed. We don't recommend, save yourself the sleepless nights, anxiety, heartache and depression.
However, if you find yourself in our situation and didn't research reviews, after your ceremony, insist on a copy of your original DHA-1766 once signed, with fingerprints, photos and witness ID. Take them to DHA Umgeni for assistance.

Such a great work that is done here. From feeding the homeless and needy to providing health care for them. If you are reading this comment please avail yourself to volunteer with your time to help. The people working here are welcoming from the security to the reception, the kitchen staff and the clinic. Money is not the only thing you can give, time is more valuable. The service is amazing
