Sarah and Scott welcomed us whom are the married couple that operate the property. The common areas are all great to enjoy and there are lots of touches like games, books and old movies to watch! It was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast, but I find it hard to imagine we could ever find a better B&B experience! 💗💗💗

The property is beautiful and we loved sitting out in the back gazebo as well as the front porch just enjoying the scenery and relaxing with the company of their sweet dog Maggie. They have added some cute touches around the property and we had a fun photo shoot on their backyard swing before heading out to the wedding we were in town for :) Our room was lovely with lots of sweet and homey touches throughout, and the bed was very comfortable. Sara was so friendly and welcoming, we enjoyed chatting with her and she even gave us a tour of the next door house after breakfast (it is great that the house is available for families and people traveling with pets!) They are relatively new owners of the BnB and have put a lot of effort into both buildings and the grounds and it shows. Overall it was a beautiful, relaxing time and we wished we were staying longer than just one night, but definitely plan to return!

He said "turn it down or I'll turn it down for you" and didn't stop there. As he walked away he felt the need to say "I'm not the one to mess with" which was completely uncalled for. It was as if he was welcoming confrontation as small minded people tend to do. They also had the heaters in the bathrooms unplugged. One of our friends asked a worker if that could be handled he they said they would take care of it and never did. $16 for a tiny bag of charcoal? Double the price is a rip-off. To top it off, the pri es went up to have rude workers ride you and get smart. It was a sad trip this time out.

The only downsides were no wifi (to monitor rv cameras with the dogs while we were out exploring) and the ticks are pretty bad but they have signs posted about the ticks and as long as you're careful to check frequently and remove them as found then you should be fine. The sites were absolutely beautiful and even offered a little bit of privacy with trees between the sites. Our site (Site 5 on Mag loop) was a little tight backing into with our 20' tt but once we were in, it was perfect fit. We will be back for sure, more prepared next time with a hotspot for the camera 🙂.

The only other thing I would recommend is to bring bug spray and spray ankles/shoes well because we did find a tick dropped off one of us when we were getting back into our car 😱 - we hadn’t hiked very much today but managed to still find one. I’ve never found a tick on me in a Fl park before (and I always check because I’m originally from the northeast and know the dangers of ticks!)
