The cabin stays are updated, most have fireplaces, and, although pricey, there are levels of expense to choose from and all are within walking distance of the fun activities available in the park. There are no falls but the trails align with the lake and some beautiful rocky ridges and the golf course is very nice. Try the restaurant if you have time and don't forget to see a show at CCP. We have stayed several nights over several camping trips. We love section 2 and over the last several trips we have had the same Campground Host and his name is Pete. He is very congenial and he keeps the bath house spotless! You will not find a cleaner bathroom anywhere and the hot water is almost instantaneous. I would say that 75 to 80% of the sites are level and easy to back in. Fall colors are peeking as of 10/28/25. Becky greeted me when I walked in and explained how the store is organized. Kids shoes and larger women's shoes are all upstairs and half off, so it worked out really well for us! I have struggled to find women's 12s, but French's had them! They were even shoes I would have chosen, so I didn't feel like I was just getting what was available. We also found appropriate shoes for both kids. They fit well and the kids like their new shoes. There was a man upstairs, manager I think?
