I planned out a nice day for my fiancé’s birthday and since we don’t eat beef but always wanted to try Miller and Carters steakhouse, we chose the Epping forest branch. The service was great despite it being slow due to low staff which we were made aware of at the start. Food came on time and it was super delicious! We ordered calamari, roasted lamb rump, Camembert mashed potato and fries. The whole meal was just amazing! Lamb was cooked really nicely to our taste. We had great service by Lucy, she was very attentive, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend being served by Lucy. We had their 2 course lunch special. It was very delicious. We had the chipotle chicken starter and the mushroom cheese starter. The portions were very generous as well. For mains we had the chicken Milanese, two pork tomahawks and the ribs. Everything came out beautiful presented and tasty. For desserts I would highly recommend the white chocolate crème brûlée, as well as the salted caramel profiteroles coated in chocolate. It’s unclear that you have to walk into the ally to get upstairs. There is parking behind the shops and also a car park. We certainly was not socially distanced between tables and we felt quiet uncomfortable here. Although, they did have hand sanitiser on site and were completing track and trace forms. Indian is one of our favourite take always but the starters of onion barjji and meat samosas here were my least favourite. They were small and didn’t taste right. The cucumber wasn’t fresh and was more bending than crunchy. The mains were very nice and I got 5 bits of chicken with my main which were nicely cooked. The waiter accidentally put his finger in my drink when giving us our starters and kindly brought me a new glass refilled with water. I’ve seen in some restaurants they bring you back an empty glass which really annoys me. I think there’s better Indians around but this was the only one we could get a table at last minute so not sure if we would visit again.

After reading the reviews I opted for here opposed to some of the other local places as it meant I didn't need to drive. The menu looks great with some good choices. I had the American breakfast which looked lovely and to be honest tasted good, the eggs was friend perfect. Then it went down hill. It took 20 mins for our order to be taken, it wasn't particularly busy. Me and my son had milk shakes and it honestly tasted like flavoured water. No thickness to it at all, it tasted like frothy water with no texture or thickness. My son had a hot dog with the extras and it wasn't great, it had onions which wasn't even cooked, it was just fresh uncooked red onion. My American breakfast was listed as coming with maple syrup which they forgot, so when asked I was given a bottle of maple flavoured ice cream sauce, absolutely shocking. See the picture, the bottle is behind my plate. Afterwards my son wanted a waffle, I was told that it would take quite some time to cook, so that was it I decided to pay up and buy him desert some where else. When I paid, I was grilled by the staff asking what rating I would give and what could be better, my she wouldn't give up and persisted making me feel very uncomfortable with customers all around. Take my advice, it's worth driving 5-10 minutes up the road to one of the other restaurants which I have visited before. They are cheaper and sooo much better.

On this occasion, I ordered a large Arch Meal with a shake and a happy meal with toy for my daughter. What arrived was my burger, a large fries only filled half way up and a happy meal with no toy - all of which were luke warm. The drinks were completely missing, to call my order a "meal" is insulting and my daughter got very sad at the lack of toy as it's the part she looks forward to the most. Everything was cooked to perfection. The hashbrows were really nice and crispy. Eggs royal was amazing it’s one of the best royal we ever had. My husband and I have agreed to come back to try more cocktails once we were not driving home because they really were outstanding. The atmosphere was very nice, nicely decorated. The service was a bit stand-offish. I didn't feel like our waiter was overly friendly which was unexpected for a very quiet time. Overall, would definitely go back and try some more drinks and dishes!

Sticky toffee pudding - the sauce was great and held the whole thing together, but the cake part itself was pretty disappointing, not a lot of flavour and a touch dry. When we got there we were given menus with no mention of the bottomless brunch. When we mentioned this to the waitress, she didn't seem to know anything about it and went to ask the chef. The toasted bread as it is advertised was more of an oily crouton and considering a lot of the food is cooked in oil it would have been nice to have bread. We did enjoy the prawns, padron peppers and black pudding and the waitress was attentive. Just not the best tapas we have had. The food was seriously good! My favourites being the meatballs, croquettes, calamari and patatas bravas. After travelling for the best part of a day and wanting a nice evening meal with my husband and children I was not prepared for a not so ‘warm welcome’ as advertised.

Ordered a platter which was for 6-7 people and was probably just enough.. their bread for starters is just delicious. Loved the calamari, lamachun and their yougurt sauce. Vince's has a wood fired oven so that is a plus straight away, the menu has a few interesting pizzas (they also have vegan cheese for dairy free people) and a number of other options. I went for the margherita and a mocktail with garlic bread starter. The garlic bread is nice with a good amount flavour without bring too garlic, mocktail was nice but we are all here for the pizza, its good. The dough has a nice amount of chew to it with a nice crispness, and it has excellent charring to the underside, this brings the taste of the wood into the pizza, it gives the base depth to its flavour and also let's your tastebuds have a variety of flavour, a bit heavy charring, a bit not. The tomato base is good, subtle and light with good coverage and not watery. I personally would have liked a touch more punch to the tomato flavour but its not lacking, just that I like tomato. The cheese is also good, its a quality mozzarella which has a good taste and a reasonable melt/stretch, as we are in proper pizza territory a really stretchy cheese is hard to do while still maintaining that authentic pizza standard but this is a pretty good balance between the two. If I had to be mega picky I would have liked a tiny bit more charring to the top of the cheese. This is clearly a pizza place that knows what's good and as such is a (crooked) mile better than many other pizza places (feel free to read my thoughts on dominos in my other reviews) plus the staff are very attentive, and Franko is a wonderful maître d', I fully recommend giving Vince's your next delivery/takeaway/meal out money.

Took an hour to arrive. Person taking the order was pleasant and ordering was straight forward. The food tastes lovely and was hot when it arrived. I always have duck with pancakes as a starter. I called to complain and the girl (who was being waitress, phone order taker and cashier as well as on her own mobile and looking after a young child) wasn't at all helpful - Guessing drafted in to help out in a crisis. I hope they get their staffing issues sorted out but they will lose customers tonight as the 2 people in front of me were both unhappy and the phone was ringing with complaints too from people waiting for delivery .
