The drinks were amazing, the service was top notch, and the food was Fantastic. They had the best Miso Soup I have ever had at any restaurant ever, and I had asked for a second bowl, praising it. The owner came by and gave me a third bowl of Miso Soup on the house, saying that was the best compliment they've gotten on it. At the end, I had eaten so much I couldn't finish my entree and had to take it to go. I loved my experience so much I had to buy a shirt, and spoke to the owner for a while about my trip. The risotto was too salty, but we sent it back and it came back and was incredible. It ended up being my favorite dish that we got. I was grateful that they exchanged it without hassle however on the very first bite there was a rock/pebble a little smaller than an eraser. It chipped my front tooth and caused a lot of pain shooting up into my gums. It's still hurting. I called and let them know that we didn't want it remade but that they should take it off the sale shelf for safety reasons. Was searching and searching for the right place to eat after a day of hiking out butts off (10 miles!) and stumbled upon this place nestled out of the way. The dip was 10/10, I wish I could order it back home. I ordered nachos for my entree, and my husband and ordered al pastor burrito, which were both delicious. One thing I want to comment on is the prices and the portion sizes. Coming from Florida to Cali, I was expecting high prices and the same portions. The prices were similar (honestly better here) and the portions were amazing, hands down I have never been served that much dip before in my life. Of all the dishes here I've tried, the mapo tofu is the standout by far. It's super delicious and uses real Szechuan peppercorns, so it's a unique culinary experience for sure. The place was full and we were seated right away. Though it was busy the tables were spread out and it didn’t feel crowded. Lots of beautiful natural light and atmosphere is casual and cool. Attentive server and food came out a lot faster than they predicted. Huge selection of beer on tap 30-40 options and 6-8 different ciders on tap to choose from. Loved that Gluten free pizzas with cauliflower crust are awesome, we got the margherita and the mozzarella was exceptional. Only wished they had gluten free buns for their burgers as well. Hubby loved the fries with the meat on top and the portion was massive. 10/10 recommend and will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

I am from counter California and you would think down there I would have had bad experiences but today was the worst I've had ever. I go in right before the usual lunch time rush. I know there is an extra charge but that little manager guy or assistant manager decides to remind me and I say thats fine. He turns around a then gets out a scale. He proceeds to weight the bowl with whatever he had in the bowl already. He then slowly adds little dried up looking pieces to my bowl bit by bit. Ive never seen any one do that here I my life. I ask how long before a fresh batch is made and he tells me its going to be a minute. He seemed to have an attitude the whole time. Then they guy behind me has a problem with this same guy. Everyone else there was nice and curtious. I dont know what this guy's problem was but maybe he should work somewhere where there are no people coming in just trying to eat lunch and get back to work. I will never be back to this chipotle.
