Thought it would be a fun date night to get a bunch of pumpkin treats for us to taste test. Searched for local bakeries with good reviews and lots of pumpkin goodies and landed on Provo Bakery. I ordered online the day before, drove 30 minutes there and back. When I got home and had a good look at the baked goods I could tell most were over-baked. We tried the pumpkin cake donut, pumpkin chocolate chip cookie, pumpkin chocolate chip muffin (that was missing chocolate chips), pumpkin chocolate chip bread, and pumpkin bar. Pumpkin desserts should always be moist, that's what pumpkin does in baked goods -- adds moisture. Yet almost every one was dry (especially the chocolate chip cookie) and bland, with just a hint of spice in the aftertaste. I'm guessing they used the same batter for every dessert because they all tasted the same. Bland and flavorless. And the bread tasted straight up burnt. The chocolate chips tasted cheap and gritty. Only the donut and bar had any flavor, but it was purely sugar from the sweet glaze and buttercream. I spent $17.50 on desserts that were not worth eating, and went in the trash. Not only that, but the workers barely acknowledged that I was there even though I went straight up to the cash register and there were no other customers. Maybe this bakery has other items that give them good reviews, but these pumpkin desserts are not it, and sadly because there was not a single good item from what I ordered, I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I mean, can you beat cookies AND ice cream? The answer is "no." The shop was easy to find and there is a good amount of seating inside and out. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m uploading pics of our meals, it was a Green Goddess and a Stuffed French Toast, I’m sorry but that shouldn’t take 45 mins to arrive to a table and still be cold, it was definitely sitting at expo and got COLD, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all, it’s a Wednesday lunch, I would’ve understood if it were during peak hours but it wasn’t. Taylor M was always smiling but he didn’t even pre-bussed our table, that’s not serving buddy, I still tipped 18% because I understand how the service industry works but I highly recommend and suggest clearing the table, checking for pocketed checks and running food on time before it gets cold and you can chat to your friends and all but pay attention to your other tables, that’s what a good service is about. Hoping next time is a better experience when it comes to our server helping our party. Service 1/5 stars

The kids were excited to pick out their own. We also went to the back and sat at one of the tables to enjoy some of the savory items. This is a fun place for my wife and I to go for a date night. Even if it is in the heart of downtown Provo with a bunch of younger couples that made us feel old but it was still a fun place to go and get a dessert after a nice bite to eat. I highly recommend adding ice cream to your cookie dough and having your cookie dough melted. While the scoop of Cookie dough is good all by itself, when you melted or heated the dough up and added the ice cream too, it made it really really good. They also give you samples of the dough so you can figure out which one you like the best. The owner was there when we went and he was extremely friendly and nice to everybody that stopped by. Recommend trying this place out for a nice dessert.

I would normally remove my review since refunding is the right thing to do in this situation, but people need to know how this place operates. There are way too many bad reviews for me to believe my situation was a one time things. Ordered a birthday arrangement for my wife at 7AM on March 21st. Half a dozen balloons with dipped strawberries, apples and bananas. I specifically asked that they hand the delivery to my wife and specified her name. She never got the delivery and found it hours later on the neighbors porch. There were 2 balloons that were deflated and 3 soggy pieces of fruit with chocolate smeared everywhere. Tried to call and it sent me to corporate. They said they have to contact the store to try and get me a refund. What a mess. I won’t be expecting any money back at all because it looks like that’s how this scam operates, but please NEVER buy from this location and think twice before buying an edible arrangement at all.
