However that's where it went downhill, the beef stifado was almost pure fat and was inedible the sauce so incredibly runny, the bread was not tasty and was dry, the fries were average at best and also dry, neither of us ate barely anything and the wait staff didn't ask how our meals were and just took our plates, the staff are clearly rushed off their feet but this place needs real work in the kitchen and in terms of the food quality, this is probably up there with one of my worst meals in Greece. Man kann hier das essen super kombinieren mit einem Sonnenuntergang am Strand (vorher). Ist man in einer Minute vorne. Es empfiehlt sich aber zu reservieren Sicherheitshalber. We were recommended to go there but randomly we found out there was a live show happening on Tuesdays with live music and dancing. You definitely need to pre-book though. The one thing that didn't stand out and not reach our expectations was the food. We had a selection of starters that were not as tasty to our standards. However, the lamb was very tender and tasty and definitely recommend it. My assumption is that due to the heavy load of tables and bookings (probably 150-200 guests at once) they pre-made some of the starters, hence not so great. I'd suggest trying it on a normal day. Obwohl mehrfach genau draufgeschaut worden ist und man gesehen hat, dass dort Geld liegt und wir vermutlich gerne Rückgeld gehabt hätten (sieben Euro Trinkgeld war nämlich nicht der Plan bei den gesalzenen Preisen). Wir sind 20 Minuten später dann einfach gegangen und haben verzichtet. Das dumme ist, ich bin regelmäßig auf Rhodos und bleibe jetzt auch einige Zeit in Koskinou. Einen Freund habe ich jetzt ebenfalls davon überzeugt, einfach lieber die andere Taverne Yiannis zu testen. Hätte gerne ein weiteres Restaurant gehabt, zu dem ich gerne regelmäßig hingehen kann, das wird bei Tassos aber definitiv nicht passieren. Ihr solltet euch für die Zukunft einfach merken, dass auch ausländische Gäste mehrfach Geld reinbringen könnten, wenn sie zufrieden sind.
