A wonderful castle visit is guaranteed here, but be warned there’s around 120 steps to climb to reach the top. The experience is quite simplistic, but very good value and incredibly educational. If your someone who things “a boring castle” this is not the normal experience and that makes it all the better.

This was an unexpected find for us when we visited Helsingborg. A lovely medieval tower in the middle of the city, right next to the Terrace Stairs (Terrasstrapporna), and the many restaurants below the stairs. We took about 30 minutes to tour the tower, then headed down the Stairs and had dinner. The Tower is well worth the short visit.

I visited this place by chance, since it's right by my hotel and since I noticed that exhibitions are free on Tuesday. The city's history exhibition is incredible. Very detailed, with tons of interesting stories about the residents of Helsingborg and its surroundings that got me absorbed for hours even though I live nowhere near here. So rich in content and varied in media: images, videos, models and even AR. Every text can also be listened to, simply by scanning QR codes. Everything here is translated into English which makes it really accessible for all (except for the AR currently unfortunately...). Looks like the curators really put their heart and soul to it and it shows. Other exhibitions included beautiful paintings of a local artist named Viktor Rosdahl and a cute one about the city's maritime heritage. Overall, a very nice cultural space. Recommended for both locals and foreigners.

Nice museum in Helsingborg’s heart area, right next to the water, with super nice view. Like the exhibition on the portraits and the history of Helsingborg. Recommend to anyone who is interested in the culture and the history. It worth 90 minutes visiting!

Amazing place by the sea, with boats docked at the front, the place is a music school for the kids, concerts to attend to, host exhibitions, and a museum telling about the history of the town of Helsingborg. Absolutely loved it and then had a nice coffee at the Dunkers Kaffe. The people of Helsingborg are a very nice lot and one can strike a conversation with almost anyone.

Worth visiting. Has some really nice free exhibits. But the the one's you pay for are not expensive & all included in the same ticket. Also, each one is very interesting. This place is also a creative space for artists to gather & they have regular events.

Strange house, ok exhibitions

Gorgeous summer palace with well tended sprawling gardens. Dahlias and Rhododendrons galore. Some flower beds have been kept the same for decades. The interior is so colorful and whimsical with storytelling placards. Be sure to have lunch on the back terrace!

Definitely worth a visit! A lovely little castle with huge grounds. On the grounds there is a lot to see, both beautiful gardens and interesting rhododendron areas, as well as the sea.

Very nice place !!!!! It has exhibition to share with you more about the royal family and you would understand better about Sweden Royal family & history. The park around is amazing. They sure spend million energy to take care all as it carries with multi flowers and it has some are so special. Many nice apple tree, berry and others vegetable they farm and present in nice way. They also put some culture decoration around which you can enjoy a lot. Please come over during summer time Don’t miss it !👍🏻❤️

Unfortunately for us, we were too early for most of the spring blooms (the park was not officially open, and we didn't need to buy tickets), but it was not hard to see that it is a spectacular place when the flowers are out. There are even little "forests" for the kids to play in. We will be back at a better time, for sure. Well worth the little detour to visit. EDIT / UPDATE We returned later in the season and the grounds were lovely. Plenty of flowers out to enjoy and more importantly, the buildings were open to visit inside. The "castle" is lovely and I am so glad to have been able to see it. There was an art exhibit inside (it was only so-so), in addition to the historical exhibit (well worth the time to read). I think we will return for out third visit later in the fall when the leaves have turned colour. Bottom line: We made two trips from Oslo (14 hours total driving each time) to see this place and are planning a third trip, so I think it is very high on out list, based on our willingness to undertake such a long trip.

We went to the ”Höstljus” (autumn lights) show. The whole park (or most of it) was decked out with various lighting installations. It was an awesome experience, even though the price is rather steep. There were aldo coffee-carts and some smaller vendors. Overall, highly recommended.

First time visit since the renovation. We were there for christmas dinner so did not see the park. The castle was lit up nicely in the dark. It has been recently renovated. The staff was nice and helpful and the food was nice. Leaned heavily in to fish with many variations of salmon. Many dishes for a classical dinner which they did well and some new ones I had not tried before. I have visited the park in late spring when all the rododendron bloom which is well worth a visit.

My favorite place in Helsinborg, quite close to the central station. The gardens, very diverse in style and vegetation, are relaxing and beautiful. You can see squirrels, goats, cows and horses as you wander in the gardens. The museums are little but insightful. The restaurant was a nice surprise : typical Swedish food with an affordable price and a nice setting. I can particulary recommande the äggkaka, in addition the portion was quite generous. There are also a lot of places when you can rest peacefully. Plan to stay at least 2 hours, maybe more if you plan to eat there.

Such an amazing place!!! Very well-organized, everywhere is clean. Flowers are beautiful, staff is extremely friendly. There is also a small Cafe, highly recommended. There are power sockets all around in the houses. Rose garden is ❤️ during workdays there are hardly any people so you can roam around freely

A nice discovery in Helsinborg center. It’s an open air museum exploring Skane through flora and fauna. i was with kids and they had much fun. There are interesting activities for them including painting and stamping some flowers/leaves. There are some museum corners too, but most information is in Swedish. If you decide to visit the place, you should go with your lunch, there are wonderful picnic areas. We spent more than four hours there and it was fun.

Wonderful place. One can learn a lot about Sweden's cultural history here. It feels refreshing after a nice walk among the nature. It's a large park with beautiful flowers and lots of farm animals. The rosary is absolutely splendid with so many varieties and so colourful. Loved the small cafe inside and the tasty cake. A must visit.

Such a lovely place to visit, small cobble street with shops from past time. Very interesting. You find pigs, horses, and other animals at the park. Beautiful gardens also. Nice cafe. A bit pricey entrance fee.

Definitely not worth the entrance fee of 100 SEK. About 75% of the park is just grassland/meadow with in totaal 2 cows walking around. A big part of the botanical garden is also just sand or grassland. There is absolutely nothing going on besides some nice lanes to walk through and a few old Swedish buildings that are nice to walk by. Besides that, it feels like you're just walking through the Swedish nature which you can do for free about everywhere. Only for children this might be a nice place to visit.

We passed by here while we were heading to the Terrace Stairs. The structure of the Church looks very nice, but we didn't spend much time here, after a few photos then we moved on.

Beyond the building features (from the beginning till now), also Christinty during history of Sweden (which is not easy to get even very fragmented surface view), these days very helpful events are available there, that helps people to have access to some vital and liveable features of society and humanity. It's also nice for those who are not Swedish and even new here and try to find out some chances to know about Christianity, Swedish churches, Bible. It's not about only information It's about life.

This place has been on my list for a long time; totally worth the wait. Amazing food, great spot and view — especially in a good summer day in Helsingborg. Good portions of food, great flavors and refined presentation. The food is totally 5/5, I only did not feel the vibes/atmosphere/interior of the restaurant matches the food (that’s irrelevant most of the time). Conclusion: highly recommended!

The best staff and lovely food. I ordered the rib-eye steak medium rare and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. There was a big selection of sides and sauces and I opted for the red wine sauce and truffle potato croquettes. The meal was lovely and I topped it off with a white chocolate dessert that was delicious. The ambience and design of the restaurant is awesome and has a nice, cozy vibe. If you can only try one restaurant for dinner, KOL is it. 5 stars ⭐️

I'm with my family, and we ordered the fish , lobster, and various steaks , and we're very happy for the price we paid. Only thing we really wanted to try was fresh Oster ; but they didn't have it. And waitress was being really nice she apologized for unavailability is for not informing earlier. but in the end we were very happy. Good service super food. recommend to try.

Amazing location right on the beach. It was too cold to sit outside, but we got a very nice table right by the window. I went with my friends who are regulars at the restaurant and I can see why. Good service, tasty Swedish food (the seafood dishes are where this place really excels) and not too hard on the wallet (because of the weak Swedish krone).

If a "better" table become available they almost run to you and ask if you want to have a better view of the sea. The restaurant is on the beach so the view is perfect for a romantic sunset dinner. And if you don't want to sitt outside the inside is really nice and cosy, a classic Swedish designed interior that makes you feel one with the sea and the sand outside. After the dinner you might want to stick around for the drinks and maybe play some boule. Very good drinks, even the alcoholic free alternative was good and not to sweet. One of the good Italian restaurants in Helsingborg. The service and the friendliness of the staff is on the highest level. I can not say anything negative about the food but having the prices in mind, value for money is not the best. Probably not one of the places to visit often.

Fine location, service is excellent but food is quite expensive, ranging 15-20€ for a main dish of pasta. It tastes okay, nothing special, and the amount is a bit too small or just enough. Salad that is provided is quite poor (just lettuce and sauce).

The restaurant proved to be a surprise. We were walk-ins and I fully expected to not get too many options to eat at an Italian restaurant. But not only was I proved wrong, the entire experience and an extremely efficient, flexible, and a nice server, Dora, made the experience worthwhile. The food was spectacular, well-prepared, and very flexible to accommodate dietary needs. Arctic char, foie gras, Grilled Iberico Bellota Abanico were some of the excellent dishes we ate.

We spontaneously went to Olsons last night and it was a great experience! We shared the antipasti as a starter and had the risotto and lamb as mains which all tasted amazing. The waiter was super nice and friendly and provided us with a great wine recommendation. For the service and quality food you get, the price is definitely appropriate. Can only recommend everyone to go here when you‘re in Helsingborg!

Lovely place, I can’t fault anything. Service was warm, welcoming and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had three courses and enjoyed every bite. We booked ahead because it’s a small place with limited tables. Quirky place with heaps of character and lots to look at. We will definitely come back for special occasions and recommend it to all our family and friends in the meantime.
