St. Michael's Church is a must-see attraction in Schwabisch Hall, located right in the city center with its impressive tower and spacious square. Visitors can climb the bell tower for stunning views of the city, but should be mindful of the loud bells. The church boasts incredible historical architecture and hosts live theatrical plays on its steps during the summer. It's a beautifully restored building that showcases a blend of Romanesque and Gothic styles, with some chapels featuring Baroque decor.
St. Michael's...wow! What a beautiful church, inside and out. Make sure to climb the tower for amazing views of Schwabish Hall! They have live theatrical plays on the steps during Summer which is awesome. Great cultural learning.

medieval church from 1156 from romanesque to Gothic architecture. the building offers all. beautiful baroque side altars, tower visit, magnificent bell with a clock timing. large stairs with an open theater and amazing main altar. it is the main highlight of the town.
David A — Google review
Besides being a historical building with the greatest architecture, the staircase outside is used by the town as a stage for plays. Away from home and wanting to serve God with fellow worshippers, it was the most amazing sermon I have attended.
I B — Google review
Oh wow. Past amazing. Everything is so old! Be sure to go up the bell tower, just watch your times around the bells because it is loud!! The church is just amazing. Only downside is that very little is printed in English so if you're a tourist, be sure to use Google Translate

Schwäbisch Hall is a very nice City to visit, and stopping by ST Michael Church is totally worth it. There are also Restaurants and Stores in the vicinity.

What an absolutely lovely cathedral. Shows the dedication of the locals who built it over the years.
Sandro P — Google review
What a view! Climbing the tower is free and highly recommended. Be careful with the bells, they ring pretty loud every 15 minutes.
Andrey R — Google review

great place to spend a day off. Entrance to the gallery is free; a large number of sculpture exhibits are located on the street. Inside there is an interesting selection of art from various directions and periods, a lot of air and light. There is a cafe and toilets. There is also a second museum dedicated to technology. Again, a great place to enjoy a day off.

This is a well curated museum with lots of interesting artifacts, pieces of art, and information. I highly recommend going for a visit. It's a surprisingly large museum, so you'll need at least an hour or two to really get to see everything. Most of the museum is accessible via stairs, as it is housed in several historical buildings.

Weinstube Weiler Tor is a charming restaurant located in Schwabisch Hall, Germany. It's known for its authentic German cuisine and a wide variety of Maultaschen dishes. It was such a luxury to find this place today!. I was treated better than I would ever Imagine!. Oliver (the owner) took a seat on my table to showed me what food they had to offer. The treat was superb, ever so human, I was delighted to be there!, the food made with love, no more ingredients needed! A truly awesome place to go to! I will come back here as soon as I can! They offer, as an aperitive, proper olive oil with smashed olives from Italy (really high quality) if you you can tell from good olive oil!. THANK YOU!!!

Nice atmosphere, warm interior with cleverly made separations that give an intimate look. I like this kind of places having an older and personal style (although some may call it oudtated). Food was quite good, wine from average to excellent. For us it was a pleasant experience.

Fills your heart and belly with LOVE. Feels like going to Grandma's for food that is good for your soul. This was my first time having Schnitzel with Spätzle, the breading was crunchy and delicious, the sauce lovely. But what really stole my heart was the Sauerbraten with purple cabbage and homemade dumplings. WOW!!!! It was so beautiful and well balanced. The lovely woman who took great care of us (I believe an owner) paired it perfectly with Dunkelgraf Trocken, a Cabernet Dorsa by Furstenfass. The food and service are top notch!

(Translated by Google) During a day trip to Schwäbisch Hall, this is an absolute must for Swabian cuisine. The cheese spaetzle with Maultasche (a kind of ravioli) and the fried potatoes with Leberkäse (meatloaf) and fried egg are truly divine. Tastes like grandma's. Highly recommended. Generous portions. Excellent value for money. Rustic atmosphere, clean, and cozy. You can also sit outside. Restrooms are very clean and lovingly decorated. Thank you very much. My dish was fine, but my wife's flammkuchen could have had a little more topping. (Original) Leuk oud restaurantje waar je je knus aan tafel voelt. (Translated by Google) If you're looking for a rustic Swabian restaurant, Weiler's is the right place for you. The Maultaschen were extremely tasty. The regional wheat beer from Löwen Bräu is very good. There is also a nice selection of craft beer. And wine. There is also wine. Very friendly service. Weiler's has the potential to become a regular pub in Hall once you're there. (Original) Wer eine urige Schwäbische Beiz sucht, ist im Weiler's genau richtig. Die Maultaschen waren mega lecker. Nestled in the picturesque Ackeranlagen park of Schwäbisch Hall, Anlagencafe is a delightful spot that promises a diverse array of beverages and dishes to satisfy any craving. Whether you're in the mood for a comforting coffee and cake, an indulgent breakfast, or perhaps a refreshing beer paired with fine wine, this cafe has it all. The menu features regional German cuisine that will tantalize your taste buds while brunch enthusiasts will find plenty to love as well.
Lovely cafe in the centre of Schwäbisch Hall’s park “Ackeranlagen”. Friendly staff, beautiful outdoor seating in between fountains and trees and good value food and drinks. Good of choice of wines and cocktails. They have a portable baby changing station that they happily set up for us when we visited with our baby. Also toys for the kids available to play with.
Tami H — Google review
If you have a lot of patience, you will have an amazing experience. The staff needs plenty of time to take your order, prepare your food and beverages and don't really check on you. You have to ask for everything once you get a hold of a waiter. But they are extremely friendly, know their menu, are flexible with requests for modifications to the food, which means they prepare it themselves and don't just serve you preprocessed food a store. The restaurant itself is located in a convenient spot of the Stadtpark. Also the decoration is appealing especially the seating area with the rug.

An elegant and charming café right on the Platz. The indoor space is spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated with lights and flowers, offering very comfortable seating. You order at the table, and they serve a tempting selection of cakes that look truly delicious. The staff are friendly, polite, and attentive (Also the girl is really cute). A versatile spot — perfect for meeting friends, casual hangouts, or even getting some work done. Personally, I consider this the most delightful café in Schwäbisch Hall.

I went to buy a few cake slices for a birthtday. I only needed three slices but, as it happened, they had four slices left for the day. While asking for three pieces, the lady gave me the fourth slice for free. I really appreciate it! If you go by, try the Belgian truffle chocolate cake, it's delicious - I have it every week.

Gasthof Die Krone is a relaxed hotel with simple rooms and Wi-Fi, featuring a warm restaurant with a terrace. The modern restaurant offers a beer garden and skittle alley, located 500 meters from the Kocher-Jagst cycle path. Guests can enjoy various menus and à la carte options including venison chops and beef roulade. The historic hotel boasts modern rooms and exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. It provides an extensive breakfast service that can be tailored to individual preferences.
Don't know what made me think of this place, but my first experience was in June of 1985 when I arrived on duty at the former US army Air Base. It was one of my first experiences with German cuisine and it quickly became my favorite place to dine in Hessental. I haven't been back since the late 1980's, but judging by the pictures and reviews, you can't go wrong by stopping in.
