The aquarium features a variety of fish tanks, educational exhibits, and marine wildlife encounters. With its fun pirate theme, it's especially appealing to kids, creating an adventurous atmosphere that everyone can enjoy. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent value for money Did the shark dive experience, all the dive team are excellent making this a very enjoyable and memorable experience. I highly recommended a visit to Skegness Aquarium

Visited during the school holidays with our family of four, two adults, a 12-year-old, and a 5-month-old in a pram. We’re big fans of zoos and aquariums, and we thought this would be a great sensory experience for our newborn, which it was. He was fascinated by the movement and colours of the fish, and the tanks were well lit and easy for him to see. That said, I had my reservations when we arrived. From the outside, the building looked quite small, and I suspected we wouldn’t be inside for very long unfortunately, I was right. You could walk around the entire place in 10 minutes if you didn’t stop much. Considering the price, I found it quite steep for the size and variety on offer. While I’ve definitely been to better aquariums, I will say the tanks were clean and the fish appeared healthy and well cared for. The standout is a large showpiece tank, which is lovely, but during school holidays it gets very crowded and that does take away from the experience. Our baby enjoyed it, but our 12-year-old lost interest fairly quickly and was more excited about heading out to play mini golf, which I believe is included in the ticket price. Would I recommend it? Possibly – it’s not bad for a rainy day or a short outing, especially with very young children. But on a warm, sunny day, I think there are better ways to spend your time and money.

If you like fish...brilliant ! It was well laid out, plenty to see. Some quiz activities for children. Cafe upstairs and a children's soft play area which was a great surprise! Big enough for a good play for a 5 year old. The jurassic Park was good for children.
Tony — Google review
The Dive experience was excellent. All dive instructors gave clear precise training and answered any questions before entering the tank. I absolutely loved it and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. We also spent some time looking around the aquarium which is interesting and educational. Plenty of fun things to do for kids as well.
Jill W — Google review
Lovely aquarium, very clean and tidy, good selection of animals and information to see, would be nice to read some information on the animals that live there i.e. their names, age etc rather than just general breed information. The annual pass is definitely worth it too if you are going to visit more than once. A little highly priced if you are just visiting the once as it is quite small. There is however also a dinosaur trail included in the price with a pretty waterfall which makes the visit longer and interesting. Overall a nice visit and would recommend.

Really excellent hour. As everything is in there, and up close, it was the most fun dive experience since diving with mantas off Labuanbajao 20 years ago. Jamie and Andy were great, walking two complete novices through everything and calming them down, and did me a quick refresher as it’s been a while. Super efficient and great fun. Rays, sharks, large fish… would recommend to all.

Nice little aquarium, plenty of different types of sea creatures. Kids loved it but it is a little dark in there and a bit smaller than I thought it would be. They got a dinosaur land there as well with some moving ones like the T-Rex. There's a cafe upstairs with nice views of Skegness area and a play area for the kids which is no extra charge. Worth it tbf, kills a few hours... Family pass was on offer, £30.00 for 2 adults & 2 kids.
Gametime3000 M — Google review
Fantastic place for a family day out, my little boy had so much fun there are lots of interactive things to do. He loved the dinosaur section outside with the sand pit where you could dig for dinosaur bones. There is also a soft play within the aquarium about half way in so you can let the kids have a run around whilst you grab a coffe/ bite to eat. Most importantly they have a great selection of sea life which beautiful to look at and are well looked after.

Nature & Wildlife Areas
Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness is a popular attraction that offers visitors an opportunity to witness the rehabilitation work done with orphaned seal pups found on the East Coast. In addition to seals, the sanctuary is home to penguins, crocodiles, tropical fish, and various farmyard animals that visitors can interact with. The site also features a kids' petting zoo and hosts informative talks about the seals and penguins during feeding times.
On May 31, 2025, my family and I visited Natureland Seal Sanctuary in Skegness, where we had an exceptionally enjoyable experience. We purchased a family ticket along with individual tickets, totaling £45, which provided excellent value for the encounter. The car park is conveniently located nearby, facilitating easy access to the sanctuary. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by exceptionally friendly & welcoming reception staff who provided valuable information. The interior of the sanctuary offered an engaging experience, with its gift shop and ice cream shop. The latter was a delightful addition on a warm day. The visit was highly educational for our children, who were captivated by the diverse wildlife they encountered. They had the opportunity to observe birds, seals, fish, and other animals, learning in an entertaining and immersive manner. Natureland Seal Sanctuary stands as a remarkable gem in Skegness, offering both entertainment and educational value. It is highly recommended for families, animal enthusiasts & individuals seeking a meaningful and enjoyable day out. Five stars

Great day out. Not a bad price for entry but it is getting a little run down. Nice place to see lots of different animals. With staff being friendly and willing to chat about the animals. The facilities were clean and the restaurant was good for a bite to eat.
Ryan P — Google review
Nice little Seal rescue centre. Undergoing some improvement to the penguin pool. Needs quite a bit of maintenance as buildings, especially the bird and butterfly houses, looking a bit shabby. Small reptile collection. Very good staff, with informative presentation at feeding time. Would be nice if they could get some sponsorship deals from local companies as not getting any lottery grants.
Martin A — Google review
A lovely place that’s truly worth visiting! I visited with my child and we had a really wonderful time. The seals are absolutely adorable, and the sanctuary plays such an important role — rescuing, caring for, and rehabilitating these beautiful, intelligent animals. The stories shared by the keeper were touching and made us realise how cruel humans can sometimes be. It was emotional but also eye-opening. Feeding the llamas and goats was a great experience for the kids — a fun and meaningful way for them to connect with animals. Places like this deserve recognition and support from the community. They’re doing something truly important. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
Sylwia M — Google review
Not bad value for money, it isn't an all day activity but definitely worth a visit if you love seals 🥺😍 ! Was a lot of maintenance going on at the time which they kindly have reflected on price tickets. General areas such as toilets and the picnic seatings area could do with a good clean. Staff on reception/ticket kiosk really friendly and bubbly. Would recommend a visit for all animal lovers
Danielle K — Google review
They gave an amazing speech about all the different seals (the adult and baby seals) and the seals did some tricks. There’s a great food place which unfortunately doesn’t allow dogs but there is an outside seating area which you can take your dogs into. There’s a butterfly sanctuary and a bird sanctuary which is absolutely amazing to go through. Would highly recommend for a nice day out.
Olyvia M — Google review
Love what they do here for the seals. Some features are being renovated at the moment. But even those that are not could do with a spruce up. We saw about 4 butterflies in the enclosure. Could hardy see the penguins due to the layout of the temporary enclosure. Alpacas were cute. The largest goat we have ever seen too! Toilets are available, well stocked with toilet roll and soap.
Elaine W — Google review
Brilliant fun, loads to look at, seal feeding 3 times a day, plus rescue seals, reptile house, birds, butterflies, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoises, alpacas, goats, turkeys and an aquarium. What's not to like, had a great time, thoroughly recommended and do you bit to support their work.

Performing arts theater
Concerts & Shows
Located on Grand Parade in Skegness, the Embassy Theatre offers a diverse range of entertainment for visitors. From tribute acts and pantomimes to family shows and West End musicals, there's something for everyone. The theater hosts cover acts, established musicians, comedians, and even celebrity appearances. Matinee performances cater to younger audiences with shows like Peppa Pig's Adventure.
My partner came here to see Most Haunted Live and thoroughly enjoyed it. As you can see by the photo he had a brilliant view of the stage and said the whole experience was fantastic. Staff here are very friendly and couldn’t do enough for him. Always something good going on here, very highly recommended.

Disable friendly clean theatre. Super seats not worth the extra money as no extra leg room. The small tables at each side of the two seats in the row are a health and safety hazard as people were using them as a step down and getting told off by the ushers. (My opinion are a waste of space) However you do get extra wide seat and space between the next sitting audience. Also a row behind 'super seats' are much cheaper and just as good. There is a dance floor which is good and gets people dancing. Very cool atmosphere air con just right. All in all I would recommend the theatre to see a good show well worth it.

Fantastic night out went to see Legend - Bob Marley, what a night singing, dancing, photos and videos allowed BONUS, staff always polite, can't do enough to help, will go above and beyond if your disabled so don't miss out, you don't need too, only gripe at this time of year is parking, as lots of holiday makers still in car park at night time, so allow extra parking time, you are allowed to take drinks through with you, also there are sweets and crisp and half time ice cream, all in all a great night out.
Jan S — Google review
Brilliant absolutely fantastic the notes you can here perfectly toilets and lots of disabled access available clean floors and tables parking on the back streets paid but free for blue badge holders staff and volunteers so friendly and helpful keep up the good work 👏 🙌

A great theatre. Quite easy to get to and car parks within walking distance. The theatre had comfy seats and ll with great views of the stage. We saw Anton and Giovanni and was an excellent performance. Drinks were a reasonable price and a good selection. A very nice seating area before going into the theatre.

Absolutely lovely place the staff are some of the most friendly i have met in this type of venue. We went to see our fave Elvis show who was on top form as always the absolute best
Shane W — Google review
Visited the theatre to see Come What May, which was touring the country. Seating was good and we were near the front. I thought it might have been difficult to see, if we were too low from the stage, but the stage was low, so our view was perfect. Air conditioning was set to cool/cold, so it kept everything pleasant, even with a full house. Photos were difficult to take, as the red lights pre-show overpowered the image, so they are the best I can provide.

We've been twice this year now and we go again in August to see Jason Manford it's a great theatre , no chance of someone tall in front of you hampering your view because of the great seating in a way it's more intimate than an arena , very impressed with it all

Lovely little museum in the middle of Skegness. It was like being transported back in time. The staff were lovely and friendly and the gentleman in the barn was very knowledgeable and engaging and encouraged us all to get hands on with the tools and equipment. All the volunteers were polite and made for a lovely visit. The cafe had really good cakes. All they ask for is a donation.

A really lovely place to visit. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. There are some great historical items and buildings and a cute cottage garden to look around. A good selection of food and drink in the cafe with a reasonable price. Free car park and entry but suggested donation of £3 per person which is very reasonable. There are lots of events and fairs throughout the year. A suggestion - this would be a great venue for a Men's Shed 😊

Amusement center
Skegness Pier is a renowned landmark offering coastal views and a wide range of entertainment options. Despite being only a quarter of its original length due to storm damage, the pier's future looks promising as it was acquired by the Mellors Group in 2021. With plans to rebuild and redevelop it to its full 582 meters, inspired by New York's High Line urban park, the pier is set for an exciting transformation.
Various eating venues, plus entertainment area at the start of the pier. Nice view of the sea at the end, plus a number of benches to relax and watch the waves. Great spot later in the day for a bit of quiet time if you're at the end of the pier.
Just J — Google review
We visited on Monday 26th May 2025 at around 17:13. As it started to rain, we made our way to the end of the pier. On our way back, we travelled through the arcade. We spent £2 on the duck racing machine and earned plenty of tickets. There is a big soft play area for little kids, and we enjoy our little visit into the pier.

This beachside destination is absolutely wonderful! The view of the sea is breathtaking, especially with the natural sea breeze that makes the atmosphere so refreshing. It’s the kind of place where you can simply relax, enjoy the beauty of nature, and forget all your worries. A perfect spot for anyone looking to spend quality time by the ocean

What a brilliant day out! We visited Skegness Pier on May 31, 2025, and it was a five-star experience from start to finish. My kids absolutely loved it and went on almost every ride they could. The variety of rides kept them entertained for hours, and the smiles on their faces said it all. The pier is also perfect for a full family outing. There were plenty of places to grab snacks and ice cream, which was great for keeping everyone happy and energised. It's so convenient to have toilet facilities readily available too. Finding parking was no problem at all, with a handy pay-and-display car park just a short walk away. This made the whole trip stress-free. Skegness Pier is a fantastic place for family fun and a must-visit if you're in the area!
AJMAL K — Google review
First time on Skegness pier. Fantastic day with fantastic company. Lots of people enjoying themselves. Lots of music, live entertainment rides and side stalls. Everything you would expect on a pier and the surrounding area. I liked how people have put locks on the rails on the pier as a memory.
Heidi L — Google review
A great walk from the seafront into town. The views were fantastic, especially at sunset, and the pier looked absolutely amazing in the evening. Even though it was the end of October a bit chilly and windy it was totally worth braving the cold for the photos and the atmosphere.
Yazz M — Google review
We visited as a family. The pier itself is lovely — the views are stunning and definitely one of the highlights of Skegness. Unfortunately, the surrounding area is extremely commercialised: everything flashes, sings, beeps, and is clearly designed to tempt kids into spending money. It’s hard to simply enjoy the atmosphere without being bombarded by noise and distractions. The toilets were honestly awful. The smell was so strong I couldn’t even go in — I literally felt like I was going to be sick, and that almost never happens to me. With so many tourists around, it’s shocking that basic hygiene isn’t better maintained. Also worth noting — the railings along the pier are covered with padlocks, despite there being a dedicated heart-shaped structure meant for this purpose nearby. The locks are damaging the fencing and it just looks messy. It’s disappointing that people don’t respect shared public spaces.

The outdoor space is dedicated to drinks only while dining tables are socially distanced with COVID-19 safety measures in place.
I had the best meal I've ever eaten in the UK today! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the whole experience was just perfect. Our server, Kayleigh, was amazing – so funny, charismatic, and sweet. She made our visit even more special. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Attached to the Premier. Standard spec. Plenty of seating. Nice bar with a reasonable choice of drinks. Can't really say it had craft beers as advertised, as one pump of Doom bar really doesn't pass muster. Efficient friendly staff. Nice looking menu with a decent Sunday roast. We just did breakfast, which was fine.

Cheap & cheerful. Variety of menu options, including a good selection of drinks. I’ve never had a bad experience here since it opened, the foods always consistent & nice. Kirk was our server last night, he is always friendly & makes time for each table he serves. All the staff are great.

A really good value restaurant with an extensive breakfast buffet selection. Plenty of vegan options cooked to order and delivered to your table. I would recommend booking as it was very busy today. £10.99 for unlimited cooked breakfast and £8.99 for unlimited continental. Staff are amazing and very friendly. I have taken photos of the menu for your reference.

We came here after almost most other places around ingoldmells was closed so we ended up here by accident but my god was we glad we did end up here, the service and the food was excellent on par with a restaurant you would likely pay 3x more at i was very surprised the food was really really good cooked very well and presented very well too serving most of the pub type classics with a few twists of there own the price point was very reasonable for me the mrs and our 3 year old came to around 40 odd pounds for mains and drinks and dessert for one I will definitely be returning again when I'm back up skegness way in the future.

Had a really nice 2 course meal here. Seated straight away and told what wasn't available which is useful to know in advance of ordering. Kirk was our waiter. He was extremely friendly and knew exactly what he was doing. His area got busier and busier while we ate and he sorted everyone out in turn while still checking on all his other diners. Would defo recommend. Free parking for 3 hours too if just using the restaurant.

The menu features classic Mediterranean options such as pizza, pasta, locally sourced seafood like king prawns, calamari, mussels, and sea trout. What a treat. I last visited this restaurant many years ago and remember it very well as a truly first class Italian restaurant. The great thing is that nothing’s changed, it’s still amazing. Absolutely authentic Italian cuisine served with a smile is great surroundings, all really brilliant. If you’re in Skegness then go

Me and my partner have visited Tarantinos twice now. A big factor of choosing skegness for our break this year was so we could come back here! We try the steak in every restaurant we visit and this one is our favourite by far. The atmosphere is really relaxing and the service is brilliant we barely waited at all for anything. Beautifully presented and tasty food, definitely worth the trip!

This was a really nice meal, with really friendly atmosphere. The staff front of house and in the kitchen were really friendly. Food was delicious and fresh. My son & I visited last week for an evening meal (5.15pm) before catching our train home. We were seated in the conservatory, which was a nice open area to sit in. Service initially was quick to take our drinks orders and then food order, but ... The guy taking our food order seemed surprised that we only ordered one main (chicken dish) and one starter (BBQ Ribs) to have at the same time, his comment was " is that it?" so I had to explain that we weren't massively hungry due to the heat, plus due to my recent heart attack, I'm eating less when eating out, so was only going to try a couple of the ribs. We knew the chicken main came with a sauce, but we also decided ordered their Peperoncini sauce as an extra as we wanted to try it. When this was asked for, the server came across a little rude again when he said "why are you ordering that for?" I said I know the chicken main came with sauce, but we wanted to try this other one too. Food didn't take too long to come out, it was very hot and tasty. The chicken had a nice chargrilled taste and nice chunky frozen chips. Ribs very tender, but bbq sauce a little too sweet for me (just my personal taste that's all) Peperoncini sauce very nice with a chilli kick. Overall, service was disappointing, food order has mentioned above, plus during our meal, we wasn't asked if our food was ok and not asked if we wanted any more drinks. So we had to chase for another drink and at the end of the meal we had to chase for the bill and then also the card machine to pay. We would return to this restaurant again as we really enjoyed the food. Hopefully the service is better next time, especially without the little rude comments on what we've ordered.

Italian restaurant
San Rufo’s Italian Restaurant, located in Skegness, offers a classic Italian menu in a spacious and bright dining room with simple dark-wood furniture. Named after a small town in southern Italy, the restaurant is known for its family-friendly and fine-dining-like atmosphere.
From the moment we walked it, the service was excellent. Lots of details, which seems not always important, but they make the difference in customer's journey. Meal amazing, great choice on the menu, including my daughter with nut allergy. Great experience over all and if we were not just visiting on holiday, we would definitely be back.

We arrived without a booking as we were staying nearby and we were so pleasantly surprised. All the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming and the place had a really buzz. The food was very authentically Italian, perfectly cooked and presented and a very reasonable price. Highly recommended
Tony ( — Google review
Over portioned, under seasoned, over priced. A very forgettable meal apart from the overly large tasteless fish cake starter (the accompanying salad was the star here!) Swordfish main was fine, but not exciting. Lobster ravioli was undercooked with chewie sludge in the centre. Not winning any awards this year
STUART V — Google review
Made a previous reservation to avoid disappointment. Sat straight away on arrival and handed a menu. Waiting approximately 15 minutes before we were asked if we’d like a drink while we looked through the menu which we’d already gone through. May have been new staff so a couple of teething issues. Starters were piping hot and delicious. Mains took a while to be served and were barely warm. As stated earlier maybe stood for a while, due to new staff being bedded in and learning the ropes. The food however was really nice. Choice of menu, really good with reasonable prices. Good location and only a short walk from Skegness Town centre.

We came last night. 8 adults, 1 baby, total bill £309 1 Bottle of red wine 2 large glasses of rose, 2 large white wines, 2 beers, 5 cokes & 8 - 3 course meals. The staff are amazing. Very accommodating. The food was absolutely amazing. The only thing that was disappointing was the lobster ravioli it's filling wasn't very tasty and seemed more like a processed pate, needless to say our friend still ate it and didn't complain but I felt it should be added into the review for others, it's not expensive for the plate £11 - they're HUGE portions. The steak was cooked to perfection. The chips a little soggy and could use a extra few minutes but they're tasty nevertheless. The stilton sauce wasnt over powering, good for us but some others might expect more of a punch. The desserts were lovely!! I would highly recommend this place. It wasn't expensive for the level of service and fresh food you get!
Charmagne D — Google review
Excellent food and service, staff really lovely and friendly. Really good value for money, dine in a relaxing setting with authentic Italian cuisine. The wine was lovely and exported from Italy. We liked it so much during a 1 week break we went back again.

Great little gem in a town not exactly known for it's fine dining. Service was very friendly and swift, the courses were huge (just look at the photo of my starter!) and delicious and the general ambience was that of a cosy, family run, Italian restaurant. Very reasonably priced too. If you're getting bored of seaside fish and chips or generic pub grub and fancy something a bit more upmarket, then I highly recommend San Rufos's.

Very good value for money, massive filling food portions and homemade pepper sauce was perfect. They even managed to get us a table at short notice, but advisable to book in advance. Do not let the front appearance put you off, amazing food and such good value for money! Will definitely be returning on our next visit to Skegness!

Found by accident last time we travelled down this way and went again tonight at last minute and they let us book a table. Best mixed grill I've had in forever. Definetly be back again in the future

Lovely food delicious tasting. Owners very professional and give good service. Waitress does not greet you with a smile, hello or even a welcome. Beautiful decorated inside and seating is very good for private conversations. Lovely little restaurant.

An unassuming small restaurant I’ve driven past many times. Went in today not expecting much but was met with an impeccably run, independently owned, amazing place. I will be back. Also noticed plenty of take aways leaving the door so might do that too! Food piping hot, massive serving and attention to detail on every item on the plate. It was a Sunday and had a Sunday roast, which by all accounts is VERY popular.

Lovely friendly staff. The food is fantastic, especially the steaks. We always visit here when we are in Skegness. We recommend Steak N Stuff to all friends and family who are visiting. It is very popular, so book.

Booking over the phone was very quick and easy. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable. Staff were super attentive and friendly. Five of us went on a Sunday for a roast and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The pricing was also very reasonable and the portion sizes were more than ample. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely food, staff most welcoming and accommodating as a member of our party is elderly, frail and has dementia. The care and empathy given was outstanding. The food was expertly cooked, generous portions and piping hot. The knickerbocker glory was definitely worth trying. Such a change to have good food, pleasant staff and empathy . Thoroughly recommend this gem of a restaurant not far from the seafront plus added bonus it has Parking!

Had Sunday dinner and it wasn't bad. Roast potatoes weren't nice the cabbage wasn't cooked properly unless you like crunchy cabbage, the beef was chewy and cold. The good parts were the Yorkshire puddings and the broccoli and mash weren't bad. All in OK but could be improved on.

First time on Skegness pier. Fantastic day with fantastic company. Lots of people enjoying themselves. Lots of music, live entertainment rides and side stalls. Everything you would expect on a pier and the surrounding area. I liked how people have put locks on the rails on the pier as a memory.

A great walk from the seafront into town. The views were fantastic, especially at sunset, and the pier looked absolutely amazing in the evening. Even though it was the end of October a bit chilly and windy it was totally worth braving the cold for the photos and the atmosphere.

Few too many rides out of order or not running. Still had a good time but lile so many things now... not sure it was worth the money
