Lucky Pierrot Tōgeshita branch in Hakodate is a spacious and family-friendly restaurant with ample parking. The free-seating arrangement allows you to order at the counter and find a seat before dropping your table number into a box for delivery. The menu offers a variety of options, including the popular Chinese Chicken Burger and Lucky Guarana drink. Portion sizes are generous, making it advisable to order extra for smaller eaters.
This is a burger chain that is only available in Hakodate but every branch is different. We went to a very large restaurant with lots of seats for customers. I tried the lucky egg burger, the special potato and a beer. All the food was really tasty and arrived quickly, really good prices too.

The local restaurant must visit when you come to Hakodate. Perfect fried chicken either topping on curry rice or hamburger.

Visited the Lucky Pierrot branch at Tōgeshita and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was quirky and full of character, staying true to the brand’s playful charm. The burgers were hearty and flavourful, with generous portions that certainly satisfied. The beer was refreshingly crisp and paired perfectly with the meal. Service was swift and friendly. A great spot for a casual bite if you’re in the area.

Came at 6pm on a Friday, there wasn't a crowd. No queue and plenty of seats. Interesting place to have a meal. My burger taste good but the aka carte Chinese chicken is way too salty! Milk shake is also too sweet. Will come back another time to try their curry rice and don.

Well, what can I say .. a fast food chain found only in Hakodate. Came to try the fried chicken. I found it tender & juicy. Palatable. You have to be a fan to do repeat visits. Just my personal opinion. Also no engrish menu. Get ready your Google translators

Biggest, coolest, fastest, but worst staff. I've been going to all the Lucky Pierrot shops to collect all the stamps. The Togeshita branch is by far one of the coolest ones. The theme is "Amusement Park Aviary', which is kind of weird... But how else are you going to mix merry-go-rounds and geese? There was a lot to see, and its very photogenic. I went early on a weekday to avoid the crowds, and sure enough there was no line and nearly no one dining so I could take quite a few pictures and videos without troubling anyone. Our food was out very quickly compared to the other stores, probably again due to the fact that no one was there at the time. However, by the time we were leaving the lines had already begun to form. Despite no one being there when we arrived, the staff already seemed impatient and dismissive. The person taking our order seemed frustrated when I asked what was recommended and we felt really rushed. I also had a weird interaction trying to get the stamp. I asked one of the staff members (in Japanese) to point out where the stamp was, and she just said "ない" (We don't have it). I was surprised, and thought maybe she didn't understand me, since all the stores have a stamp. I quickly opened my stamp book to show her what I meant, and she went to ask another staff person, who also said ないです. On my way out I was taking pictures of the waiting area, and I noticed the stamp pad behind a waiting bench. Funnily enough, the staff member had come out to call someone waiting for an order as I was stamping my book. I said to her "見つけた" (I found it). She blinked and quickly walked away. Maybe because this location is a popular tourist destination, the staff has become kind of apathetic from dealing with crowds. I get that, but it really is such a stark contrast from every other Lucky Pierrot in Hakodate which is filled with such hospitable and charming staff.

The food is great. You should try the number. 1 chicken burger. Recommend chicken omelette rice, fries. They serve coffee and tea too. Portion is quite big. If u r not a big eater, recommend to order 2 for every 3 pax. It is free seating. U order at the counter, then write ur table number after u found a seat on the paper they gave u, drop the paper into the box at the counter and they deliver it to you. However if it is less crowded, the staff probably can finds u without u writing the table number too. For those who don’t know, the restaurant has 8 love shapes icon/thingy hang around the place. Find all 8 and tell the counter staff. They will give u something as surprise. There’s a big car park behind the restaurant. Lots are plenty.

If you visit Hakodate then a trip to Lucky Pierrot is at the top of the list. The Togeshita shop is quite large with some play areas outside for the kids. You can't go wrong with a Chinese Chicken Burger and a Lucky Guarana, but there are plenty of other menu options. Try the Futocho if you're feely adventurous, it's a huge burger.

Table De Rivage is a unique and charming restaurant located north of Hakodate at Lake Onuma. The menu focuses on locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create internationally influenced dishes such as creamy crab pasta and beef and vegetable curry. The rustic interior offers great views of the surrounding nature, and the restaurant even offers cruises on the lake.
We had the beef stew. The meat is very tender, some pieces melt in the mouth. It was the rainy day on the weekday, so we were the only few tables there. Peaceful day. The service is very lovely. Highly recommended!

Nice cozy romantic spot with a fireplace. Service was great and helpful, thank you so much~

We are glad that we have chosen to dine here rather than the usual hotpot place popular with the tourists. Almost every table at this restaurant has a view of the lake. The restaurant serves western food with a Japanese touch. We had beef stew and ginger pork. Apple pie was a perfect ending to a satisfying meal.

A brief shower while enjoying an autumn walk in Onuma park forced us to take shelter at this restaurant. It turned out to be a blessing, in which we could sit down having hot coffee and admiring beautiful surrounding through a number of glass windows. Would love to have a meal here, had we not had lunch early on. The restaurant is closed quite early at 3pm.
Sukid P — Google review
We had such a delicious lunch of steak & fish with almond sauce. And the fish was so delicious that we ended up eating another one! Plus, we had a great view of the lake the entire time, and were able to walk around after eating. A fantastic place to relax and eat delicious food!

The rastaurant is located in the middle of Hakodate Onuma Park. You would enjoy a nice meal with a good view of Onuma lake. I ordered Roasted Beef set comes with soup, bread, drink - just right amount of food. The taste is good. It might be not enough if you are a big eater. If the weather is perfect, it would be amazing to join their cruise lunch! There is a trail course just next to the restaurant. So, I would recommend to take a walk before/after the lunch.

Found this lovely little cafe/restaurant on our walk around the islands. Had some delicious Onuma beef and a very nice coffee. They also have postcards of the area for ¥150 to send to loved ones!

Tasty apple pie dessert set. Peacefully location with good view and has food delivered for boat dining service. However I don't know why the staff at the restaurant seems cold and unfriendly showing a deadly face.

Nestled in a charming log cabin, Lumber House is a must-visit destination for meat lovers seeking an unforgettable dining experience. This delightful eatery specializes in the exquisite Hakodate Onuma Beef, known for its rich flavor and tenderness, thanks to a meticulous aging process of over three weeks. The sirloin and round steaks are simply seasoned with salt, pepper, and lemon butter, allowing the natural flavors to shine through alongside fresh vegetables.
Quaint cozy wooden cabin serving fantastic and delicious steaks and sausages. Service is really friendly too.

I can't recommend this place enough!! I had heard about it and wanted to go there, but didn't really have time after hiring a bike for an hour... But as soon as I saw it, I turned my bike in its direction. And wow, was I not disappointed. Beautifully detailed: cosy, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Wonderful service: the owners were so friendly and happy to welcome you in. Despite the language barrier they were helpful and so humble with the highly deserved praise (through smiles, and hand genstures) I gave them.... The food - well... It's worth writing home about! You get more than what you pay for. I had one of the cheaper options (given I didn't have so much time, I didn't want to waste their time or the good food) and I was still blown away. Delicious, memory making, incredible food. You will not be disappointed! The cottage look and feel was just lovely! Only thing I didn't like was the Budweiser sign outside, would be better with a nice local beer!

Delicious steak from Onuma at very reasonable price. Highly recommended and better to come early as the restaurant will close once the steak is sold out.

In the middle nowhere..but the steaks were great. Enjoyed and refreshed during our bike journey. Kind owner, great steaks (loved the bread the most), and the nice interior.
Yelee J — Google review
You're encouraged to seat outside, there is shade anyway, to enjoy the breeze. Food was adequate, not impressed by the salad, soup or normal beef. Bread was really good and so is the most premium sirloin steak. Fun concept to cook your own meat but the normal beef was already medium well when it came to me and there's nothing more I can cook with it.

Great service, great outside seating and absolutely delicious food. I had a 200g steak set with onion soup and salad, perfectly done and not expensive at all. Highly recommended after some biking around the lake, to recharge your batteries and enjoy tasty food.
Stano S — Google review
The most famous steakhouse nearby. The sirloin is 200g comes with entrée or set. I'd recommend fire ribs 300g set, with either soup or milk, bread is so lovely. Highly recommended if anyone had a walk in the park and wants something filling!

THE DANSHAKU LOUNGE is a charming michi no eki with a delightful combination of a souvenir shop and a cozy restaurant. The friendly staff serves delicious croquettes and fries with BBQ seasoning, reminiscent of the popular Smith's crinkle-cut BBQ crisps. This unique roadside stop offers an intriguing blend of museum exhibits showcasing life in the region from a century ago, along with artisanal goods for sale.
Interesting roadside stop that is half museum half potato & artisinal goods store. Interesting concept that shows how life used to be in the region 100 or so years ago. Cute love letters section too. Fries are delicious and recommend trying them.

They provided excellent recommendations and made sure everything was just right. Overall, the restaurant and the shop deserves all the praise. Whether you're a foodie looking for a new favorite spot or someone who simply enjoys a great meal, the restaurant is a must-visit. I will definitely be coming back for more!

Beautiful michi no eki, lots of souvenirs and a nice little restaurant. Friendly staff. I was feeling hungry, so I tried the croquettes and Fries with bbq seasoning. They were both delicious. The Fries reminded me of smith's crinkle cut bbq crisps(the best flavour of course(after s&v))

Such a lovely place! They offer a beautiful selection of snacks, gifts and souvenirs (and potato chips!). We had a hamburger and chicken steak at the restaurant which were delicious and great value for money. The staff were great all around and they were very accommodating with my allergic requirements too.

Upon discovering the guests' country of origin, the chef adds a personal touch by presenting them with the renowned Zubrowka vodka from their homeland.
What a fantastic find. The pizza was absolutely delicious - best we've had in Japan! The hamburger steak truly tasted home made and was fantastic. Will come back next time we're in the area!

Honestly one of the best, if not the best meal we have had while traveling around Hokkaido. The portions are well thought out and the food very delicious. You can tell the master here takes great pride in what he serves. The restaurant itself is quite charming and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Cute restaurant, with extremely friendly staff, and delicious food! We've tried the Pizza Bianca, Hamburg steak and beef curry; all of them absolutely stunning. Highly recommended!

Good food and a very cool Restaurant. The staff were super friendly and the chef even rode after us on his bike to bring us back a bag that we forgot in the restaurant . The pricing was reasonable and the overall experience was amazing. They have an English menu.

Very small, cozy place with good food. The menu has salads, pizza, pasta, steak and other Western specialties. Everything is prepared with much care and tasty. There are also daily specials. Overall a really enjoyable experience in lovely Ōnumakōen.

Great food and very friendly staff. When the chef found out my country of origin, he brought out a very popular vodka (Żubrówka) from where I am from. Try the salads, but the real kicker is the cheese free pizza with onion, olives and anchovies. The restaurant itself has a great cabin feel.
