Phare de Men Ruz, located on the Breton coast of Cotes-d'Armor in Perros-Guirec, is a remarkable structure built from pink granite that marks the entrance to the passage leading to the port of Ploumanach. Its history dates back to 1860 when the first lighthouse was erected. Unfortunately, it was destroyed in 1944 during World War II.
Amazing 😍. Very beautiful. The landscape, the colors. I visited in the 3rd week of November. Luckily, the day was partly sunny/ cloudy, giving more dramatic colors. Check out my pictures and videos.

Very beautiful lighthouse built with rose granit. Near it, you can walk along a trail longing the coast and enjoy mesmerising view on huge granit stones and the sea.

One of the most beautiful lighthouses I've ever seen. The landscape was gorgeous, the seaview was absolutely breathtaking and the lighthouse was beautifully picturesque. I have no words for this unique place, so I decided to finish this comment with a few pictures.

Beautiful landscapes! I haven’t imagined how wonderful this place can be! The walking on the “sentier des douaniers” offer spectacular views.

Great place to visit with stunning views and worth a walk around the coast to see the lighthouse and the rock formations ! Town has some nice little restaurants and great food!

Nestled on the hillside with a stunning view of Trestraou beach, L'Agapa is a modern hotel that stands out in Perros Guirec. Unlike the traditional Celtic style of the area, this 50-room hotel boasts contemporary architecture and beautifully landscaped gardens. It's a perfect base for exploring the Pink Granite coastline and offers a refreshing take on French style.
An absolutely gorgeous beach... Not one piece of litter or plastic on the beach or in the sea. I have to commend the French for their fastidious efforts to keep their beaches and countryside in general litter free.. They put other countries I've visited and lived in to shame. The North Atlantic beaches are superb in general , the sea is a bit colder than I usually like it, but once you're in the water is invigorating, refreshing and crystal clear... Most surrounding bars, cafes and restaurants I visited are friendly and more reasonably priced than some areas in the South of France... I'd definitely visit again.

Wonderful white sand and granite rock pools. Great swimming at higher tides, amazing rock climbing at lower tides. Lots to explore with sailing and paddle boarding opportunities.
Tom H — Google review
Great place to spend a few hours, lots of great restaurants, a nice place to walk along the front. Several ice cream vendors, casino, places for kids to play. Book a boat trip around Les Sept Isles here, or hire a sailing boat, kayak, paddle board. Safe beach with good swimming, lifeguards on duty during the summer. Lots of markets, music, events through the high season. A must see on every visitors to do list!
Jacqueline A — Google review
A big beach near the center of the town. It has toilets and showers facilities nearby which are very handy. The sand is soft but sticky to the skin, so you might need a shower or a bath after visiting. Parking here is not that easy during holiday season. You need some luck to find a parking spot for the beach. They have some parking places but these are rather small and quickly filled up. Because it is near the center there are a lot of shops nearby.

Perfect beach for families. Restaurants, surfing lessons, SUP rentals and superb location.

(Translated by Google) Bizarrely beautiful landscape, this castle is located on a peninsula that can be reached at low tide. You can not visit the castle. Around the castle are bizarrely beautiful rock formations of pink granite. (Original) Bizar mooi landschap, dit kasteel ligt op een schiereiland dat bij eb te bereiken is. (Translated by Google) It's an existing adventure: the castle: we can take it at low or high tide; it challenges us from its height (proud of its position), from afar with trees and sun, clear or contrasting at the level of the sky. No matter what dressing we put on it, it is impressive. (Original) C'est une aventure existante : le château : .on peut le prendre à marée basse ou haute; il nous défit de sa hauteur (fier de sa position), de loin avec des arbres et du soleil ,clair ou contrasté au niveau du ciel. (Translated by Google) If I hadn't been there myself, I would have thought it was an AI-generated landscape. It's gorgeous here. The difference between high and low tide is incredible. A great place for paddling. The castle is magical. It's like a dream to walk here. There's a beautiful hiking trail, and there are huge boulders everywhere in town that are fascinating. The parking lot behind the beach was very full. It's definitely worth a visit.

I went to this restaurant with my family during our holidays in Perros Guirec. I would say that it’s the best restaurant in town (for my opinion) because foodsare really gooood and services are also great! We had menu Tentation and menu La suite, and either of them are very delicious with good presentation. Needless to mention about the view, it’s just next to the beach AMAZING!
Nitchakant P — Google review
A wonderful restaurant with a stunning view of the sea. We arrived around 1:00 PM and were warmly welcomed – including our dog, who was very well received. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was excellent – fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food with a beautiful view!

Great location with stunning views, great atmosphere and charming service. Very tasty signature Cocktails. Creative & delicious food. We‘ll come again.
URSULA R — Google review
I fail to understand less than 5 star reviews for this restaurant! We received excellent service and the food, according to my family was worth 80,000,000 Michelin Stars! The cocktails were creative and strong, many wines served by the glass and most importantly, the majority of the food/drink menu are sourced within Brittany which is such a treat for us as it's our first visit to Brittany. I highly recommend this restaurant and the locally produced strawberry liquor for both couples and families for a highlight meal. Bravo!!

French restaurant
Le Suroît is a charming hotel with 8 uniquely decorated rooms offering picturesque marina views. The hotel also houses a modern seafood restaurant that serves an array of delectable dishes including seafood platters, fish soups, salmon tartare, skate, and sole meunière. While they do offer meat options, the focus here is on the exquisite seafood. The restaurant's elegant ambiance and attentive staff ensure a delightful dining experience.
The Restaurant: An elegant and meticulously maintained atmosphere with attentive staff and quick service without long waits. The food is incredibly fresh and truly excellent, with authentic flavors. I highly recommend it, and coming from an Italian, that says a lot!

We didn't stay here but had dinner in the restaurant. It was truly a 5 star dinner. I couldn't recommend it more!
Giulia C — Google review
Went there a bit by chance for dinner. And what a nice surprise! Very interesting menu able to satisfy everybody with a mix of traditional meat-based dishes and local seafood. Food is well prepared and well presented. The room is very comfortable and the service is professional and effective. Interesting (while short) wine list at a reasonable price. Booking likely required as on this Tuesday evening in September, the room was fully packed. I can't help but making a friendly suggestion to the waiters: put a smile on your face and the whole experience will be even better! All in all an excellent evening and very good value for money.

Evening reservations are required. Lobster. Sole. Fish couscous. Of course oysters number 2. Don't hold back. The wine list is reasonable.

Wonderful service, beautiful hotel and rooms and spectacular location. After breakfast we took a 3 mile loop hike around the area. Tonight we will be having dinner here. Would come back here again in a heartbeat.

A superb 2 night stay in this perfectly situated classic hotel. Even though the exterior looks classic the interior upgrades were modern and thoughtful. The shower? The best we've had in weeks in France. The view, beautiful (see pictures) the breakfast is hearty and of high quality. And the added bonus is the staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful. This was such a lovely respite on our journey through Northern France.

the hotel location is spectacular - right at the granite rose walking path. We were here for 3 nights and only used our car for 1/2 day because we were able to do so many things in the immediate area. We dined at the very nice, gourmet restaurant one night and had a wonderful meal. service was lovely and wine selection superb!

It was the perfect place to start our walk along the coastal path. The view from our room was gorgeous. It was also a good base for short drives in the area.

Everything was perfect. Nice, quiet room, beautiful view, cozy bar, great service, delicious dinner with fantastic desserts and a very good breakfast selection including the possibility of ordering warm dishes (eggs, Crêpes,...).
Sophie W — Google review
All in all we had a wonderful stay at the "castel beau site" the rooms are large enough and fairly modern the view to the sea just breathtaking staff is helpful and very friendly food is fine and fresh but there is one clear no-go: when we arrived it really rained like "**ll". but instead of someone coming to help us with the luggage and maybe bring along an umbrella.....the front office manager (himself with an umbrella of course) just came quickly outside to tell us to repark our car....no need to say that we had to lift our luggage ourselfs into the hotel-lobby and that we had a nice cold shower by the time we checked-in. come.. on.....this cannot be the way you welcome people in a hotel of such a standing

We only used the restaurant for lunch which was one of the best experiences we had in our trip in Normandy. We went for the menu which was exquisite. I cannot faut this restaurant for their cuisine , service and views. A must if in the area

Located in Pont Couennec, Perros Guirec, Digor Kalon is a mysterious and charming restaurant with a baroque facade that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The establishment is known for its homemade food and excellent service. The decor is unique, featuring pots and pans hanging from the ceiling, creating a cozy and welcoming ambiance. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes and drinks, including tasty tapas and local specialties.
Nice setting and special decoration: pots and pans hanging from ceiling, odds and ends scattered over the place. More a pub that serves food as well than a typical restaurant. Great tapas, correct prices, nice host. Without fault.

Haute French restaurant
The french restaurant, Restaurant des Rochers, overlooks the port with a beautiful view and is highly efficient in service. The dishes are varied and of high quality, with a certain amount of research put into them. Good value for money can be found at this establishment.
The joy of stopping while exploring the Côte de Granit Rose we literally stumbled across this wonderful harbour side restaurant. It was a beautiful day and we managed to get one of the outside tables (we had not booked and were very lucky - I would definitely recommend booking). The waiter was really attentive and most welcoming. This was our last full day in France and this meal was so memorable. My husband had the formule du midi and I choose a couple of entrées followed by a dessert. formule du midi Tartelette croustillante, oeuf mimosa aux crevettes marinées a la grenade Filet de Sébaste, chaux, fleur et fenouil, rôtis à l’orange, bisque tandoori Tartelette aux fraise déstructuré Two entrées and Dessert Focaccia tomates d’anta, pesto et buratta Ravioles au lard rôti, queues de langoustine grillées et beurre au curry rouge Having eaten possibly one of the best meals ever in France with each dish beautifully presented creating a visual feast to the eye and with such depths of flavour, it seemed only fitting to try a dessert. I am not usually one for desserts, but when I saw other tables being served it had to be done and was not disappointed. The Crumble citron vert, crémeux citron yuzu, biscuit citron pistache, meringue et glace au yaourt fermier - Oh my, what perfection! Thank you to all the staff for making our meal so incredibly.
SJ M — Google review
We were very disappointed in the food which we feel either lacked flavor or cohesiveness. The langoustine was overcooked and lacking any flavor. In one dish, they paired a piece of pepperoni with creamed yams and fish. It was a very off putting that was not at all good. They also sent an additional item that we thought was part of our order but didn’t order. We only realized it was added when we received the bill.
