Greek restaurant
Restaurant
Annas Taverne is a cozy and lively spot known for its Greek cuisine and warm, friendly service. Despite its small size, the restaurant offers a great dining experience with well-seasoned and delicious food. The atmosphere is enhanced by Greek music, creating an authentic feel. While the single server may not speak English fluently, they are accommodating and provide excellent attention to guests. The portions are generous, prices reasonable, and the drinks come in large sizes.
Wow! This is the best food I have had in a long time. This place is worth a detour and if you are in the area don't miss it! We had the grill platter for 2 and the wife and child did they utmost to finish every last piece.

Very much so a one man show and family business. In an unsecured place with no parking, we were worried our car would get broken into. The seating situation was very uncomfortable, the chairs were old and raggedy and had my back hurting. View was of a construction site to the right of the restaurant. Greek platter was diverse in options for vegetarians and carnivores. The octopus on mashed potatoes was so greasy, couldn’t keep eating it. Which is weird since it was supposed to be grilled, the sauce on top tasted sour. Wouldn’t recommend it but the mashed potatoes were good. Gave us free shots and orange cake, the cake itself was too sweet especially with the ice cream. Had the house white wine which was delicious and a deal. Service was slow but it was only one server and then one cook. Took 40 minutes for our food to come to the table.

Outstanding Greek food along with a warm friendly service. Honestly, one of the best Greek food I have had in a restaurant. Clean, tasty and fresh!! Great job to the Chef- and prep cook(s). Galaktoboureko dessert out of this world!!

Lovely place to dine for Greek food. Greek music, greekish atmosphere and cozy spot to be at. Well seasoned, great tasting food. Service was friendly, but didn't speak English (but came to understanding by arms and legs). Prices were very reasonable and portions aswell as drink sizes were large. Wasn't able to pay by card, so as a foreigner, make sure to bring some cash! All and all, definitely recommend this lovely place.

Great food, great service. Small and cozy. Recommend to reserve in advance. This place is usually very full.

Excellent food and really fresh. Huge portions. Does not accept credit cards. Overall nice food and a shot Ouzo was provided as well. Cozy ambience and free parking on the street. Best Greek in Dachau, Germany

Very impressed with the quality and service if this restaurant. Warm greeting immediately, when walking in. While quite busy, the 1 server was able to give us plenty of attention with drinks and menu options as my date is a vegetarian. She offered a mushroom dish. I had gotten a variety of meats with the roasted potato. Everything tasted terrific.

It was a Friday night just after 8PM the day before Octoberfest and the place was packed. I did not have a reservation, but the server considered it a personal challenge to get me (a single diner) in and out before a reserved table was needed at 9 PM. I also don’t see the need for all the 5-star ratings by others… but… I find Anna’s to be a fun (very small) place with a great single (non-English speaking) server for the (~12) inside tables. She, the server, did not hesitate to bring one… no two, of the regular duel language customers into the conversation to help me with my order and subsequent needs. My food was nothing out of the ordinary but met my expectations and my change of wines was handled well when I asked to look at the bottles. Keep in mind this is a small place and dishes may run out earlier in the evening from when you may get there, so don’t be disappointed if you dine late and what is on the daily board is no longer available. This happened to me. Parking can be a problem, as this restaurant stands alone in a residential area and is sandwiched between what appears to be apartments and single-family housing. Please carpool and come as a group and expect to walk a bit.

Greek restaurant
Nestled in a charming and nostalgic setting, Restaurant Bakalikon offers an authentic taste of Greek cuisine that transports diners straight to Greece. This family-run establishment prides itself on cleanliness and a warm atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for both newcomers and those longing for a taste of home. During my recent visit, I was greeted by friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bakalikon Griechische Taverne, and I must say, the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the restaurant's attention to cleanliness and its inviting atmosphere, both of which I would happily give a five-star rating. The menu offers a wide variety of Greek delicacies, and every dish served was not only generous in portion but also excellently presented, showcasing the care and authenticity the kitchen puts into every meal. While the food quality itself was a solid four out of five, with flavors that transport you straight to the heart of Greece, it was the overall dining experience that truly stood out. The restaurant's atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel as though you're dining among friends. The clean and well-maintained environment further enhances the experience, ensuring every meal is enjoyed in a comfortable setting. Whether you're a lover of Greek cuisine or trying it for the first time, Bakalikon Griechische Taverne offers a memorable dining experience that combines delicious food, exceptional cleanliness, and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit to this charming taverna for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Greece without leaving the city.

Three of went for lunch on a sunny afternoon. We were seated right away. The waitstaff is very friendly. We ordered a bottle of wine, and octopus salad appetizer, and three gyros. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. We had a great time.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante Mamma Rosa - Holzofen Pizza in Dachau offers a delightful dining experience with its delicious and easily digestible Mediterranean cuisine. The menu features a variety of characteristic dishes, including tasty vegetarian options. Guests can also relax at the bar before or after their meal and enjoy a selection of alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages. The restaurant is known for its authentic Italian cuisine, including classic pizzas and pastas cooked to perfection in a traditional wood oven.
Delicious restaurant, very friendly staff. Even though the staff didn't speak English, they still recommended me two delicious dishes. The space is spacious and cozy. The restaurant should have an English menu for tourists. 5 stars for the delicious food and the warm welcome of the staff

Beer garden
"Old Love at the Amper" is a charming restaurant located in Bavaria, offering great food and excellent service. The Easter decorations may have been a bit extravagant, but they were arranged with care, creating a clean and well-maintained environment. The Biergarten, nestled in the woods by a stream, provides a beautiful setting even in winter. Visitors praise the generous portions of delicious traditional dishes like Schnitzel and Caesar Salad mit Pute.
Wonderful restaurant just outside of Dachau. Very quaint location with cozy and interesting decorations. I had a three-fish daily special and it was very good.

One of the very best meals we had on our entire Germany trip. Had the delight of sitting on the outdoor patio in beautiful weather. We both had the Kräftige Rindsbouillon soup. We split the schnitzel with horseradish as well as the apfelstrudel. All were exceptional and worth the hike. Parking is plentiful and the parking lot connects to the walking path that parallels the Amper River; if you’ve got time, walking to or from the restaurant on this picturesque path is convenient.

This is a wonderful place, I was there with my grandmother and the food was insanely good. They had esperagus soup, very creaming. I got the Holzfäller Steak and it was so delicious. My family had the King Ludwig roll, was also great, I can only recommend this place and the beer garden looks very clean and organised and can only recommend anyone to go there. There's also a perfect place to walk your dog outside. Lots of space, good amount of parking and I think for birthday parties or so it's also good. The service was also nice and we will come back 100%

We were in Germany for a two week vacation, and on our last night, we stumbled upon our favorite restaurant of the trip. The food, the service and the atmosphere were amazing. We all ordered different dishes and one was better than the next. We finished it off with fresh plum cake and it was delicious I am so glad we ended our amazing vacation here.

Was with a large group and had excellent and timely service. Food was best so far in Bavaria - fresh and prepared authentically. Biergarten is set in the woods along a stream, beautiful even in winter.

Alte Liebe is a restaurant where we stayed, taking advantage of the open-air expanse of the Biergarten for a birthday party. It is a very pleasant place, close to a river (remember the mosquito spray!), the service is fast enough, and the menu alternates between traditional Bavarian fried or grilled dishes and a few antipasti, salads and first courses, in particular the famous spatzle with cheese or tagliatelle with mushrooms. There are a few suggestions for vegetarians. The portions are generous and the beer is good. The only “regret”, if I may point out, is that when ordering a roast with braised onion, I expected a roast and not an entrecote, but I only realised this when they asked me what kind of cooking I wanted. The beef was not very tender. I was very politely asked if I wanted it done again. Particularly spectacular were the Schnitzel, breaded and fried cutlets, which are described as “according to shoe length”.

Thai restaurant
This Thai restaurant is excellent and definitely worth a visit! The food is especially delicious and the service was great. The restaurant can be quite busy, so reservations are recommended.
UPDATE 09-2024: It´s been a few years since my last visit but what can I say. Still, excellent, homemade authentic cuisine. Great thing; they don´t use glutamate or other chemical/unhealthy stuff instead only fresh ingredients & spices. Vegan options available (just ask, thei´re happy to help) Will certainly be back whenever I´ll be in the area again.
