Good place to visit with friends and family. All age group will ebjoy here. There is 10 min easy climb to waterfall. Bathing is not allowed here, but you can enjoy water by dipping your lege in cold water, you will feel relaxed. There are many shops to eat snacks.

This is a popular spot for tourists, mainly due to the small waterfall that comes down from the nearby hill. At the time we visited there was very little water. But it had rained heavily the night before, so the streams had more water. The name of the place, I guess, comes from the 5 small bamboo bridges built across the path of the waterfall so people can make their way to the top. The view from the top is pretty. They also have some adventure sports and a guided trek to a nearby hill. Good place to spend an hour or so. The surrounding mountains look beautiful in the morning light.

As a solo traveler, I visited Subhash Baoli in Dalhousie, attracted by its reputation as a serene retreat in nature. The walk through lush green paths was pleasant, but upon arrival, I was disappointed by the lack of maintenance. Named after freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, the site has historical significance and potential for beauty. However, the area around the spring was littered with debris, the pathways were overgrown, and the seating areas were in disrepair. Despite these issues, the natural beauty, with tall trees and the sound of trickling water, still offered moments of tranquility.

In a very dismal state. Just a small water flow nothing as "baoli" here. Few steps to this structure but can be skipped too.

Cannot imagine that memorial to a true national leader like Netaji Subhas Bose is so poorly maintained by local administration. There are not even proper signages to guide a tourist to visit and pay tribute to such a loved leader of the freedom struggle of Bharat. The place has a now closed restaurant beneath it which must be removed to give proper sanctity to the memorial. The water flowing into the Baoli is hygienic and clean but the Baoli should be kept clean. It is recommended that whoever comes to the Baoli must drink the water which is like Elixir to life. The place is peaceful and full of natural beauty.

The historical place is in a very poor and awful state. It's equal to nothing being there, a board with historical information is thrown across the street. Sadly, the place is taken over by a private cafe. The local administration should revive this place or not let people see it.

This place is one of the top attractions of Dalhousie. It's the fabled natural spring water of these streams that healed subhas Chandra Bose from tuberculosis. Sadly the local authority have not taken care of this place. The water well is really badly kept. It has got algae all around it.

Short but good trek hardly 2 km but during snowfall it covered with thick ice. I did trekking in month of January good ice was there. From top you can see Pir Panjal range covered with thick ice. Carry stick and good shoes to prevent from slipping. On the way you will find mud houses so nice to capture them. Mostly you will find vacant as during winters people go down the hill. Be safe while during snow trekking most chances to get slip. Beware of black ice too...while going in snow I would suggest always carry rubber shoes or snow shoes that don't get slip. At every snow place such shoes available on rent also or you can purchase. Local people have some food facilities you can enjoy tea and Maggie.

Breathtaking views from the peak (9000 ft) with a moderate difficulty level hike. A bit of snow on the peak makes the peak very beautiful.

Chill quiet place. With no crowd. You get private space and it looks beautiful. (Expect for some construction noise around )

Ganji Pahadi trek is one of the most beautiful trek. Location is so beautiful and mesmerising. Must visit in Dalhousie.

Ganji pahari provides a 360 degree view and is just like Triund with much less trekking distance. The trekking level is easy and the view is breathtaking.

The scenery is beautiful but it's more of a trek so old people wont be comfortable climbing up.

It's a tibetian refugee market which is quite in a small lane, collection you can get variety of stoles, shaal, pahadi caps, knitted stoles, trendy shoes sandals kaftan, kurti, tibetian items, small trendy cute gadgets and many more stuffs tibetian cuisines fridge magnets etc. We couldn't bargain but you can absolutely try your luck 😉

The name might make you think it’s full of Tibetan treasures — but honestly, not much Tibetan stuff here. It’s mostly regular stalls selling clothes, souvenirs, and winter wear you’ll find in any hill station market. Also, the lanes are super narrow — in some spots, two people can’t even pass each other without turning sideways like crabs. If it’s crowded, be ready for a mini traffic jam on foot. Good for a quick stroll and some basic shopping, but don’t go in with high expectations.

You have to check this place carefully or you will miss this place. This is located on the right hand side of the lane leading to khajjiar in Gandhi Chowk. This market is amazing and the best prices and quality of the stuffs are available here. You will get stuffs for mountaineering here. It's worth visiting here and you will end up shopping all your favorites you wanted from a long time. Hence this is a must visit if you're in Dalhousie.

Visited the Indo Tibetan Market recently, and overall, it's an okay spot—nothing extraordinary, but worth a quick browse if you're in the area. The prices are on the higher side compared to other Tibetan markets I've checked out in places like Delhi or McLeod Ganj; you might end up paying a bit more for those colorful scarves, jewelry, and handicrafts. Bargaining is possible if you're into it, but it's hit or miss—totally up to you whether to haggle or not. The real downside is how congested it gets. The lanes are super narrow, so only one or max two people can squeeze through at a time. If someone approaches from the front, it's like a mini traffic jam—maybe one person coming head-on and one from each side if you're lucky. It feels chaotic, especially on weekends, so go early if you hate crowds. Decent for souvenirs, but don't expect a relaxed shopping vibe.

It's a kind of local market near mall road, it can be seen easily from there. It is a market in a small closed road, it's a long but very less wide and gets wider as you go in. Mostly crowded due it's closeness from mall road. Good for non branded or copied product. Bargaining is must.

The beautiful place is located almost 7 kilometres from Dalhousie city centre. The views are amazing.

The beautiful valleys are on the way from Dalhousie to Khajjiar. Lush and scenic green forests are very attractive. There are many people with rabbits and pigeons for which they charge Rs 30-50 for any number of photos you want to get clicked. Its enjoyable. We visited during the month of February where there was snow also to enjoy. Roads are steep so need to be very careful while driving.

Beautiful point to have clicks between Dalhousie and Khajjiar. Just before entering in kalatop wildlife sanctuary. Bakrota The area is surrounding by deodar trees and hills all around. Small Trek and temple is also nearby for trekking lovers. Beautiful view point in khajiar road overlooking the Bakrota mountain range of the himalayas amidst lush green pine forests.

Here top view was so beautiful 🤩 I enjoyed a lot . Total trekking about 3kms and here one temple was located. In middle u have snacks shop. But top view was so Beautiful don’t miss this place in Dalhousie

I had a truly awful experience at this restaurant. We ordered the lemon chicken, and it was not only the worst I've ever had, but it was also stinky. The dish was inedible. The chicken was overcooked and dry, the lemon sauce was overly sour, and the smell was repulsive. I couldn't even take more than one bite. It's a shame because I was looking forward to a nice meal, but this was a complete disappointment. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. One star is too generous for this experience. Avoid it at all costs

Worst experience. I asked for dahi. They brought big bowl and told me i can only buy this. Not giving the small portion. Trying to rip customers. Not recommending to anyone. Pronthe was worse.

The concept is good and the owner is polite and energetic, however the food itself leaves so much to be desired. The main highlight here should be the Himachal cuisine and it's highlighted in their Himachali Thali..coming to that the veg options in that Thali are quite fresh and flavour is good however the non veg options need a lot of improvement (specially mutton) Coming to amenities they are bare minimum..the wash basin is awkwardly placed near the entrance and the washroom was under renovation at time of visit.

Ambience is really royal . People are so helpful and sweet here . Services are amazing . Price is affordable. Taste is really good . Masala papad was really good I haven’t tried this type of masala papad before .

There are lot of Sher-e- punjab around Dalhousie. This one is at Subhash Chowk. Only this one is with himachali kitchen. We had dinner here,wanted to try Himachali thali. Food was really good and unique. We wanted to try non veg Himachali thali but it was not available. So we tried veg one. Service was prompt. Only problem was tha thali quantity should be more as compared to price.

This place is called Sher e Punjab now. They don't serve Himachali thali anymore because of less crowd these days. But we still wanted to taste something local so we ordered Madhra which is a local rajma dish made in curd gravy. It was fine and very different from our regular rajma sabji. But it had an irritating amount of badi elaichi in it. I got elaichi seeds in each and every bite. I personally don't like a bite on elaichi or badi elaichi (ofcourse I love their flavor). Apart from that service is good and ambience is good and done in Himachali interiors.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is great. I've tried here a local specialty - veg Thali and I wasn't disappointed. It's great for all the Dal lovers, I liked some of the versions very much and all of them had a unique taste. The price was affordable considering the locality (200 INR). After a meal a wanted a dessert, there is a ice cream stall connected with a restaurant. The ice cream is very tasty, but to my surprise I paid 130 INR for a "big" cup - it was pretty small. So be aware of this higher price for an ice cream. The table with exact pricing is missing here.

Excellent eatry in the happening Gandhi Chowk of Dalhousie. The service was very prompt and friendly. Food quality was excellent Honey chilly potatoes with proper crisp and sweet hot tangyness was a good start, followed by ghar ki daal, almost same as home cooked, malai kofta in a peach colored rich curry and butter chicken.. Nan and roti were fresh Odd pick of egg sandwich proved to be excellent too. Overall the food was very tatseful and balanced on spices and richness. The place was full with guests, still from taking our order to serving the food staff was very prompt. Overall a great dinner experience

I'm giving this place a glowing review because the food is excellent! I especially appreciate the dedication to authentic flavors. I was initially disappointed that the North Indian options weren't available during my first visit (between 4 and 7 pm), but it was well worth revisiting after 7 pm. Highly recommend!

Good place to have lunch. The place gets crowded during rush hour. They have a good selection of indian, Pan Asian and continental cuisine. Not many tables though..... The staff are polite and the food quality is good.

We went in a little late for lunch but they welcomed us with love. We ordered veg fried rice, pizza, fries & apple pie with icecream. They customised the dishes as per our needs. Also the food & ambience was great. We loved the fried rice, it was really yum. Also the staff was very polite. Even the owner came to us for the feedback who was extremely polite. Would definitely recommend this place.

We stopped for lunch enroute to Khajjiar. Parking is a little difficult to find during peak hours. Once inside, there is comfortable seating. Service is quick and our food arrived in no time. Flavors are spot on, servers are attentive to food customization and there's a decent washroom. Overall a nice experience in Dalhousie.

The food is delicious. We had the Kadhai Paneer, Special Rajmah, Mixed Veg and Paneer Butter Masala. Everything was sumptuous. Their portions are good too. But best of all is the service. The entire staff is so polite and welcoming. The place is super clean too! You must visit when you're in Dalhousie.

Situated in a quaint hotel called Grand View Hotel, this place is a real gem. It has old school vibes with great view of the valley. We really enjoyed the food- would highly recommend Himachali Dahi chicken, kadhi and kebabs. Even the spring rolls were crispy and full of vegetables. The service was impeccable. Must visit in Dalhousie!

Came as walk in for dining. Must say best or atleast one of the best in ambience and decor in Dalhousie. Wished stayed here seeing the view on offer. Good food with reasonable rates . Has a bar as well. Would recommend coming here for sure.

Went here for a dinner meal after reading online reviews and knowing it's a premium place. We were told by the staff - the food is served fresh etc. and also how vintage the place is etc. none of the house guests had shown up yet since it was early dinner time ( around 7pm). Ordered cocktail - simple cosmopolitan, chicken stew, rice , dal and bhindi. The drink was just a load of sugar rush and with the server asking me to taste and ensure it was done well ( surprised me since I expected it to be done well in the 1st place for such a restaurant) . Made peace with the cocktail - wasn't upto the mark and with the server asking me to ensure it's done well made me realize , ain't any point in ordering another or correcting this one. The food portion size was huge , was hot and felt tasty then. The issue started once we reached back to our hotel. Immediate 🤮 for me - feeling the stew and the cocktail coming out. My mum - who had only the veg stuff - fell sick the same way the next day. We both had severe case of FOOD POISONING coming only from the food we had here. This was the last leg of our trip in Himachal . Had meals in variety of places and wanted to end it with a "good" food in a premium place . But it not only disappointed us but also made us feel super sick . Guessing the food that was severed to us - was not fresh and just warmed up to get it out guests who came in for early dinner .

Awesome place. Had buffet dinner. The food was fantastic and the staff were very polite and helpful. They even had karaoke. My sister sang a few songs. On the whole we had a very entertaining evening.

Online marketing is too good but food is okayish. Not so good. It’s similar to other nearby stalls. This place is in main market of Mcleodganj which is a narrow street from main gandhi chowk.street is not long though. No parking on main chowk but you can park nearby in other streets or a lil away from main chowk.

A modern restaurant with na ancient look.. age old kettle collection of various countries.. Buffet dinner - Rs 525/- per head. (Both veg n non veg) At main bus stand location. It is a restaurant of Hotel Mount View. Near State Bank of India.

Food is excellent, staff is very friendly and polite. Very well attended to all the requests, best part is Jain food is also available on request. Ambience of the restaurant is pleasant and calming. Very well maintained and upto the mark.
