Jampore Beach is a nice and calm spot to relax. The sand feels a bit muddy, but the beach is clean and easily accessible via steps. You’ll find plenty of horses around if you’re interested in rides or photos. Great place for a peaceful outing.

Iur visit to Jampore Beach in Daman was one of the most enjoyable parts of the trip, offering a refreshing mix of seaside charm, relaxation, and local flavor. Unlike the rocky stretches of Devka Beach, Jampore has a much wider and smoother shoreline, making it ideal for walking, sitting by the water, and enjoying the sea breeze. On the day we visited, the weather was pleasant, though slightly humid, with gentle waves lapping against the shore. The expansive beach and calm surroundings created a soothing environment where we could unwind after a busy schedule. The atmosphere was lively, with tourists and families scattered across the stretch, yet it retained a sense of openness that didn’t feel crowded. Jampore Beach is also known for its small eateries and stalls, and we enjoyed some quick bites and refreshing drinks while gazing at the sea. The casual, laid-back vibe makes it an excellent spot to spend quality time with colleagues, friends, or family. A few adventure activities were also available, but we preferred to keep it simple, walking barefoot on the sand and soaking in the natural serenity. One highlight of our visit was relaxing at the beachside shacks, sipping on cool beverages, and letting the sea breeze take away the fatigue of travel. Watching the waves and engaging in light conversations made the experience even more memorable. As the day progressed, the beach grew livelier, with more tourists coming in to enjoy the late afternoon. In all, Jampore Beach is a must-visit in Daman if you are looking for a calm yet vibrant seaside escape. With its clean stretch, good food options, and easygoing vibe, it perfectly captures the coastal charm of this small yet lively city.

Although the beach looked dirty but the joggers' path or the corniche area looked pretty decent. A lot of construction is still in progress to pave the walking path. Cleanliness needs to be improved. The life guards were not permitting visitors to go in the beach area as due to monsoon, the beach was rough. A lot of entries are there n ample parking space.

Jampore Beach is a serene coastal escape, located about 5 km from Moti Daman Jetty, known for its soft, often blackish or muddy-hued sand and tranquil vibes — a perfect retreat from city life Lined with casuarina or palm-like groves, it offers plenty of shade, making it excellent for leisurely strolls, picnics, and sunsets at any time from late afternoon to evening. Plenty of options offering both veg and non-veg delights — from vada pav, bhel, corn chaat to pomfret fry, prawns, and even coconut water with vodka — all at affordable prices

Stepping into the historic embrace of Moti Daman Fort is like embarking on a journey through time, where every stone tells a story of valor, resilience, and grandeur. From the moment you set foot within its sturdy walls, you're transported to an era of colonial intrigue and maritime glory. As I crossed the threshold of the fort, I was immediately struck by the imposing architecture that stood as a testament to the military prowess of its builders. The massive ramparts and sturdy bastions spoke of a bygone era when this coastal stronghold served as a bastion against invading forces and marauding pirates. Exploring the labyrinthine corridors and chambers of Moti Daman Fort felt like unraveling the layers of history woven into its very fabric. From the ancient cannons that once thundered defiance against enemy ships to the serene courtyards that echoed with the footsteps of generations past, every corner seemed to whisper tales of conquest and conquest. One of the most captivating aspects of the fort was its panoramic views of the Arabian Sea, stretching endlessly into the horizon. Standing atop the ramparts, with the salty breeze caressing my face, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the natural beauty that surrounded this bastion of human endeavor. As I delved deeper into the fort's inner sanctum, I encountered a treasure trove of architectural marvels, including intricately carved stone pillars, ornate arches, and majestic gateways adorned with exquisite motifs. Each structure bore the unmistakable stamp of craftsmanship and artistry, reflecting the cultural fusion that defined this coastal outpost. But perhaps the most poignant moment of my visit came when I stumbled upon the ancient chapel nestled within the fort's walls. Standing in silent reverence before its weathered facade, I couldn't help but marvel at the resilience of faith in the face of adversity, a timeless reminder of the human spirit's enduring quest for transcendence. In conclusion, a visit to Moti Daman Fort is not just a journey through history; it's an immersive experience that transports you to a world where past and present converge in a symphony of sights, sounds, and sensations. Whether you're a history buff, an architecture enthusiast, or simply a traveler seeking to unravel the mysteries of the past, this iconic fortress promises an unforgettable adventure that leaves an indelible mark on the soul.

Historical and architectural Cathedral of Bom Jesus, an artistry engineered by Portuguese. Located inside the Daman Fort gives you a feel of Portugal era. Big entrance with lofty ceilings draws attention of tourists. The best time to visit is during Christmas or between December month which give you a spiritual feeling of that era.

On a rainy Sunday, we visited the Bom Jesus Church in Daman with colleagues, and the experience turned out to be both enriching and memorable. The church is one of the oldest and most iconic structures in Daman, carrying deep historical and heritage value. Built during the Portuguese era, it reflects the grandeur of old-world architecture with its detailed woodwork, ornamental altars, and serene ambiance. Stepping inside instantly transported us back in time, offering a sense of peace and reverence. Outside the church, the environment had its own unique charm. The colorful houses, narrow lanes, and graffiti art walls added a vibrant touch to the heritage setting. The rains made the atmosphere even more picturesque, and the cool breeze was refreshing. Being a Sunday, there was a good crowd of tourists, yet the place retained its calm and spiritual vibe. One of the most enjoyable parts of the visit was tasting Mithi Lassi, being served by a friendly Sardarji just outside the church. For someone belonging to North India, it brought back nostalgic memories of home and added a personal warmth to the trip. The combination of history, culture, and local flavors made the visit special. After exploring the church, we headed towards the nearby Daman Fort, another landmark showcasing the region’s colonial past. The fort’s imposing walls and sea views gave us a deeper appreciation of Daman’s strategic and historical significance. On our way back, the day ended on a refreshing note with a chilled Mint Mojito, much needed after a humid and busy Sunday of sightseeing. The mix of heritage, natural beauty, good weather, and simple joys of food and drink made the entire outing truly memorable.

Visited this place with my friends. Daman's Church of Bom Jesus will transport you into a world of lavish grandeur and spiritual magnificence. Marvel at its exquisite Baroque facade adorned with eye-catching carvings, delicate paintings, majestic pillars,  fragrant incense wafting through the air... and as soon as you step inside, you see shimmering gold leaf motifs and striking stained glass windows paying homage to god's splendour. The blesses sacrament is very eye catching....Saturday there n 🙏 prayed. The alter is breathtakingly beautiful with its eyecatching carvings. It was raining so we had to take out our footware before entering. There are no entry tickets. Sufficient parking available

Moti Daman Fort, located in Daman, India, is a significant historical site that reflects the region’s Portuguese colonial past. Constructed in 1559, the fort spans approximately 30 square kilometers and features ten citadels, showcasing classic Portuguese military architecture. Visitors can explore various structures within the fort, including the Secretariat and other official buildings, which are still in use today. The fort’s design includes unique features such as projections that jut out at regular intervals and loop-holed walls, which were strategic defensive elements during its time. A notable aspect is the flight of steps connecting the terraces to the inner ground, likely used as a safety measure during attacks. Visitors have praised the fort for its well-maintained roads, allowing vehicular access, and the serene environment it offers. The sea view from the lighthouse within the fort is particularly appreciated for its beauty. Additionally, the presence of a T-55 tank near the entrance adds an interesting historical element to the visit. Inside the fort, the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary stands out as an excellent example of Portuguese-style architecture, with etched archways and open views from the bastions enhancing the experience. Overall, Moti Daman Fort offers a blend of historical significance and scenic beauty, making it a must-visit destination for those interested in history and architecture.
Riddhima's W — Google review
Moti Daman Fort is one of the key historical landmarks in Daman and a must-visit for history lovers and tourists alike. Built by the Portuguese in the 16th century, the fort is a fine example of their colonial architecture and military planning. Spread over a large area with high stone walls, watchtowers, and gateways, the fort once served as a strong defensive structure protecting the Portuguese settlement. Walking inside the fort feels like stepping back in time. Many government offices now function within the premises, but the original old-world charm is still visible in the massive stone walls, bastions, and the old-style gateways. The fort also houses several churches and colonial-era buildings that showcase Portuguese architectural influence. The surroundings are peaceful and less commercialized compared to other tourist attractions, making it an ideal place for a quiet walk while absorbing history. From certain points of the fort, you can also get a view of the Arabian Sea, which reminds you of why this fort held such strategic importance. The area is well maintained, though some sections show signs of aging, which is natural for a centuries-old structure. Parking is generally manageable around the fort. Moti Daman Fort is not just a monument but a piece of history that tells the story of Portuguese rule in India. A great spot for history enthusiasts, architecture admirers, and anyone looking to explore Daman beyond beaches.
ANIMESH S — Google review
It's a very beautiful place and clean and well maintained inside. Though one can't call it it a fort anymore as inside there are schools and residential blocks where civilians live. The is a very beautiful church with one of the best wood works I have seen in my life. There is also a lighthouse to check along with nice open Cafe where they serve very tasty food. One gets the feeling of an old European town inside with cobbled streets. The by lanes are also very quiet and peaceful inside the fort. I would recommend going there early maybe around 9 am or so as during the later part of the day it get crowded obviously. If you are early then you will be all along and explore at peace and get some beautiful photographs maybe without much distractions.

There's nothing like Fort as such except its walls. This premises houses most of the Government offices, The District and Sessions Court, the Labour Court, the Administrative Tribunal, the Juvenile Justice Board, the Jail, few Cafe's, also residence of many locals. The light houses. Our Lady of Fatima School and pertinent to mention that one gets to see the branched Palm Trees which are a rare sight. It's Worth a visit once in life.

I genuinely regret stepping into this so-called restaurant. The food quality was **beyond terrible**—bland, stale, and completely unappetizing. The service? **Non-existent.** The staff seemed utterly disinterested, and it took forever to get even the simplest request fulfilled. Now, let’s talk about the prices. If you think a five-star hotel is expensive, **this place will shock you.** They charge outrageous amounts for subpar, tasteless food that isn’t worth a fraction of the cost. It feels like they **are deliberately scamming customers** with ridiculous pricing for a meal that doesn't even meet basic hygiene standards. If you care about your money, your time, and most importantly, your health, **stay far away** from this place. Plenty of great dining options exist in Daman—this is NOT one of them. **Save yourself the disappointment!**

Every morning there is a breakfast buffet. The buffet is unlimited. The timings of the buffet are 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM. On Weekdays it is for 135 INR per person and on Sundays it is for 150 INR. 5% GST is additional to that. The breakfast menu does not have a wide variety of items. But the taste of all that is available is fine. The hospitality of the staff is always good.

Daman Delite, overpriced, cozy and poorly lit restaurant but best for Daman standard. I visited Daman recently and visited this restaurant with family. Tables are very near to say it as cozy restaurant. People talking on nearby table can affect your conversation. It is very poorly lit. You can't read menu. They provide 'LED Torch' to read the menu. Lol. You find difficulty looking at face of your partner as there is all dark inside. What is the point in it...! If you go for seafood it is overpriced, you will feel like eating other food. I ordered Tandoori chicken which was not tasty and juicy at all, we couldn't finish it. On drinks they put 20% VAT extra. Service is nice and polite. You can visit it once as there are very limited options nearby.

It’s a cozy and cute spot to hang out, and a great option for vegan food lovers. I tried their red sauce spaghetti, which was quite nice. However, the service was noticeably slow, and the Vietnamese rolls didn’t hold up well—they turned quite odd once they got cold

There’s a wide variety of dishes with expertise across multiple cuisines. I wanted to try something different, so I ordered Pad Thai noodles and Malaysian curry rice, both were delicious and had a unique flavor I hadn’t experienced before. I follow a Jain diet, and they had plenty of Jain options available too. Honestly, I didn’t expect such great variety and taste in Daman. A must-visit spot for all food lovers!

Great place. Great food. Nice little cozy place for people wanting vegan/veg food. Ambience is soft. Sitting is comfortable though being a small space. The food is delicious and by standards. The menu is diverse which is plus. Tried KOKUM FIZZ for mocktail which was really good. Highly recommended!!

During my trip to Daman, I visited this place. The ambiance is nice, but the service is slow—we had to wait a long time for our food. However, it was absolutely worth it because the food was excellent. Highly recommended!

We stumbled upon this place while searching for great pancakes, and boy, did we hit the jackpot! We ordered the Mazze Platter, pancakes, Bean Jalepino Nachos, Avocado Toast, Classic Pesto Pasta, and Earthy Orange - everything was delicious! The ambiance was fantastic, with a wonderful vibe that made our evening even more special. The staff were super supportive, and with a group of four, we had a fantastic time. Highly recommend for a lovely evening out!

It was a wonderful experience, the food taste and quality is amazing. I never expected that I would visit Daman and I’ll get such good food. We decided to go with what owner recommended, and I’d say those were good suggestions. Their avocado toast is a must try! To cut your time, they also have some games like chess, puzzle, jenga, etc.

A great little hide out spot! Amazing setting and atmosphere, presentation of food and drinks. Food is great too! Egg frittadas and loaded garlic bread is a recommendation! Not just a drop in - expect to be here for around an hour and half - but this is a great price to pay for fresh, delicious food.

This cafe is at a little hide out spot! Amazing setting and atmosphere, has a good vibe Food is okay, not that good and service is too slow even during non rush hours. This place serves only soft drinks so don't flow with the vibe to order the hard ones

Me and my friends visited this place at noon, we wanted to come here during night as lightning is amazing. The people around there told us. So I would suggest more fun to visit during the evening or night. Food was good just that they take time as they don't have prepared food but these guys have such a better playlist that waiting is not even an issue and try starters as starters were amazing, Mushroom rice was also fab.

It's a lovely boho themed cafe in Moti Daman. The Kori kohi coffee and Mazagran coffee was disappointing. I forgot the name of the starter, it has chicken on grilled bread, bit similar to garlic bread which was delicious.
Greeshma G — Google review
The vibe was good but the service was very bad. We waited for quite a while before our order arrived. Also the taste was not as great. We tried the loaded garlic bread and it was tasteless. The items seemed overpriced for their taste and quality

It's the best cafe in Daman I have ever seen. The ambient is very good. It gives you chill vibes. Its a cafe cum art gallery I must say. Everything placed in the cafe is an artistic piece. The food is also very good taste wise and quality wise too. We loved overall vibes with chill music around. You can sit there and relax hours and hours. We specifically like the huge butterfly painted over the entry gate. Must go place if you are in Daman.

This place has a vibe. The positive ones surely. We went there on a weekend afternoon and we got some delicious food to savour. We had the whole cafe to ourselves as we were the only ones there during that time. Probably in the evening it's much more crowded and this place comes to life even more. The washrooms are very well maintained. Overall a great experience. Recommended.

One of the rare cafes in Daman with such cool funky ambience. So if you want to enjoy a nice ambience with cool rock music in Daman, this is the place to be. I found the food pretty average though. But it was very reasonably priced. Definitely a good place to enjoy coffee with snacks.

We visited Raviyas kitchen last evening. We had referenced it in search of good Non-vegetarian food at Daman. And the experience has been nothing short of 'heavenly'. To start with the hosts kindly guided our local auto person to their restaurant. The menu we ordered was Prawns fry, Pomfret fry, Bombil gravy ,Chola Na Muthiya, Rotla and Rice. Needless to say the fish were absolutely fresh and the cooking was in the right proportion. No overwhelming masalas or too commercial fry stuff. The bombil was treated so fine that out just melted in the mouth just like that. The sit out area is hygienic, small and neat. The hosts ensure comfort and all of them are soft spoken We strongly recommend a visit to genuine non veg lovers to this place. Sharing few pics.
