Park
Gage Park, Brampton's oldest park located in the downtown core, offers a variety of attractions for visitors. In the warm months, it hosts weekly concerts and has a wading pool and splash pad. In winter, an outdoor skating rink is available. The park features beautiful flower gardens, walking paths, and picnic areas making it ideal for family outings or leisurely days in the sun.
One of the most beautiful public parks in downtown Brampton with an awesome skating ring during winter This is the place to go to during the festivities The Christmas decorations and the way it’s lit and decorated during Christmas is a must visit It’s breathtakingly beautiful Would definitely recommend visiting this beautiful park I could go there every single day and be jaw dropped

I went for a walk to Gage Park in Brampton, and it was incredible! The Christmas lights display was stunning, showcasing Canadian heritage and culture in such a unique way. If you have some time, you should definitely visit Gage Park in Brampton—you won’t be disappointed!
Irene M — Google review
This is a nice little park best during the Christmas season. They have a skating rink with equipment rentals. Its a bit difficult to find the parking. The best option is to park at the City Hall public parking where the first hour is free. Great for Christmas photos
Sanand A — Google review
Gage Park is an absolute gem during the holiday season! The city transforms the entire park into a winter wonderland, with beautiful Christmas lights that create a festive, magical atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to get into the holiday spirit. Whether you're strolling through the park to admire the lights or enjoying a fun evening of ice skating on the rink, there’s something for everyone. The best part,It’s all free! You can gather with family and friends, take in the seasonal displays, and skate without spending a dime. The ice rink is well-maintained, offering a great spot for both beginners and seasoned skaters alike. Overall, Gage Park provides a wonderful, budget-friendly outing where you can make lasting memories with your loved ones. If you're looking for a joyful and festive experience, this park is definitely worth a visit during the holidays.

Gage Park is a very beautiful park specially during the winter with it's free outdoor ice skating rink. The rink is surrounded by beautiful lighting making it a delight to skate at night. Skate rentals and sharpening is also available. Rentals cost $15 for 2 hours and $10 for kids aged 12 and under, helmets are also available to rent at $5. The rink is open daily from 5pm-10pm and 10am-10pm on Saturday and Sunday. Underground parking is available in City Hall. Overall a nice option for a winter outdoor family activity.

Gage Park in Brampton is an amazing place. Beautiful park with lots of trees and greenery. Personally, I like it during the snowtime. During the winter, the park is illuminated with lights all over, and an absolute delight and treat to the eyes and mind. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience in the freezing cold, worth it, unforgettable and just loved it. Not to miss this illuminated experience during the next winter.
Thonta P — Google review
I was staying near Gage Park. I used to come here almost every week. I have seen this park in every season. Now I'm shifted to another place and i miss this park very much. It was such a cute park with cherry blossom tree, Farmer's market, fall colors, tree lightening ceremony, skating rink, beautiful decoration, and jamming sessions by some freelance musicians on weekends. I miss everything. I wish to come here someday to enjoy the charm of this park.
Archana W — Google review
As everyone is visiting places to get the wonderful view of cherry blossoms, me and my friend decided to go to Gage Park as it is in the Downtown hence, very accessible by bus. Although front side of the park was temporarily fenced due to renovation probably, we still got beautiful sight of the white cherry blossoms. We soaked ourselves in the sunlight and the fresh air and clicked tons of nice pictures. The bungalow is a great place to get clicked with. Overall, it was worth of spending time! Made our day!

Beautiful place, with lots to do. We came during the dog exhibit and we loved it! The place is especially clean and the bathrooms are accessible and very tidy. All the employees we interacted with were very nice and friendly. Wonderful experience!

Loved the courthouse 1867.. and jail cells were authentic 1867

Amazing museum and art gallery! It moves old building form with new and was engaging. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I visit a lot of archives for my work, and Nick is one of the best, most passionate, knowledgeable archivist I have worked with.

We had a wonderful experience with Sofia during our visit to the Peel Regional Art and Museum. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything with such clarity and enthusiasm that it made the whole tour engaging and enjoyable. Sofia patiently answered all of our questions and connected the history and art pieces to real-life stories, which made the visit much more meaningful. Her passion for the subject truly stood out, and we left with a deeper appreciation for the museum. Thank you, Sofia, for making our visit so memorable!

Attended a workshop for Ceramic Art with a theme on Home and Belonging; it was filled with supplies and a great host! (: Interesting historic courthouse and county jail; there was also a lovely exhibit on dogs, man's best friend! Came on a Saturday and it wasn't crowded at all
G O — Google review
I'm not into history, but the Peel Art Gallery, Museum and Archives was in close proximity to my accommodations. The initial "art" was not my thing but I'm sure some will find it interesting. I was lucky enough to have a guided tour of the courthouse (even snapped myself on the Judge's bench 😁). Once I stepped inside of a prisoner's "cell" I instantly knew why I was always a law-abiding citizen 😂 The video of me actually in the cell; the claustrophobia was all too real. I was abruptly reminded of how far we've progressed as a people when I saw a 3.5" floppy 💾 and a yo-yo among the museum's displays. All in all, I don't regret the visit, and the admittance fee was reasonable 🙂
Maria B — Google review
Went there on a weekday and not too busy I was pleasantly surprised at how many things there are to see. If you compare it to a bigger museum it’s smaller in comparison but I think it’s pretty solid I’d say it takes you around 1 hour to go through everything. It is $6 right now, which is nice We went in and were greeted by the staff who were kind to explain where everything is and where their favorite exhibits are. My favorite exhibit is the courtroom as you can go in and explore, as well as take pictures in it. There is also a jail, a space that explores black history, exhibits of space and more. Would recommend going for a fun activity downtown.
Angelica B — Google review
Good place to go and learn about art and the court and jail in old Brampton. There are few parking for visitors inside the art complex. The art gallery entrance is not at all expensive and it is free of you have canoo app. This place is divided to some 3-4 building. There are some portion where some work was ongoing. We went on Sunday afternoon and it was relatively free. First building where we went had 2 art shows going on. It is good for intellectuals who enjoy art. So, I was more impressed not by this part but other areas. They have preserved an old court room. You need to take the guided tour of the old court. The guide explained really well and view takes you right into the past. The architecture is also worth noting. It seems they rent this place for movie shooting and other events too. In that same building there is a ball room type room where there is a high ceiling too. The other building houses an old jail. They have an audio presentation of the person who spent time in solitary confinement too. On the entrance to the jail there is also a display of the atrocities that the indigenous kids of Canada had to undergo in the so called residential school. It was a reminder of the horrible past of Canada and the sufferings of those innocent kids. It really made me think about the privilege that we are enjoying compared to these kids. They also have some painting they do on the outside wall and the locality in which this place is situated has a beautiful park too.

The skating experience here was great! Went on a Saturday night and loved that it was not over crowded. The park was so cute with lights and skate rentals provided on site. There were washrooms and some staff available to help on ice. Skate aids require a helmet rental and are limited to around 4 so it’s first come first serve. We are new skaters and once on the ice, it was manageable but if you need support like rails or barriers then this may not be the outdoor rink for you. There was also ample parking on site. Would recommend.

Overall, Chinguacousy Park combines natural beauty with recreational amenities, making it a cherished destination for both relaxation and enjoyment in Brampton.

Ok this park is awesome. We went around 11:30am so still plenty of parking. We did the petting zoo, splash pad, park and mini golf. We had alot of fun although my daughter fell at the splash pad hitting her head, saying it was quite slippery. Will take water shoes next time. Everything else is great though and will go back.

A nice and fun place for family. You can embrace nature even when you live from the city side. It has a huge playground for kids, peacful place for relaxing in the fountain side. There are tables for picnics (Clean as you go). Not too crowded especially on weekdays. Best season to catch here for me is fall. I hope this information helps. See photos for more details. It was all taken during fall.

Perfect place for nature-lovers…one can do brisk walk, cycling, jogging and many more other activities while enjoying the scenic beauty of greenery, water pond, blooming vibrant flowers and cool breeze. So many rides for children, along with the splash pads for kids and adults as well. One can have a great picnic time with family and friends there. If not to do anything, just sit, relax and breathe; you will find yourself in the lap of mother nature there😊😊

Perfect place for families with kids to chill out and have some fun! Less busy in the mornings. Pony rides and the petting zoo are a big win for the kids. You can rent scooters inside the park for $5. Pony rides are $4 and entry into the petting zoo is $2. Refreshments are reasonably priced too. Paddle boating is $10 for a boat for 30 mins. Overall a must visit!!

The park offers various outdoor activities such as hiking trails through forests and wetlands, fishing and boating on the lake, treetop trekking, zip-lining courses, and a splash pad for families to enjoy.
Had an amazing first kayaking experience at the park! I was nervous at first, but the staff were incredibly helpful and made me feel at ease. The lake was calm and perfect for beginners. Ended up having so much fun—can’t wait to go again!

A wonderful little lake, excellent views and nice hiking trails. Easy access with picnic areas and parking. Did not have difficulties ourselves but for some the hike could be longer to go around. Remember where you entered , eg L1 to L18 markers.

Heart Lake Conservation Park is very nature-oriented and full of beautiful scenery. It has a small, peaceful lake that creates a calming atmosphere, making it perfect for long walks. The park has long stair trails that give you a bit of a workout, and they’re surrounded by tall, green trees that make the walk feel refreshing. There’s also a water park that brings a lot of excitement during the summer, and parking is always easy because there’s plenty of space. The treetop trekking area is a paid attraction, but unfortunately it was closed when I visited. Even so, I still enjoyed the visit so much. There are many benches where you can sit, relax, and enjoy the view of the lake or just breathe in the fresh air. It’s also a great place for paid boating, which makes the experience even more fun for families and friends. Overall, it’s a peaceful and refreshing place to spend time, especially if you love nature.

It is very expansive and expensive to enter. Approx $28 after tax for a car of two persons. Trails were hard to navigate and very much nothing. The lakeside is lame. This place wpuld be great for a peaceful picnic. Lots of tables and space. The cost would clearly keep the population out. Its clean lots of parking.
Natasha H — Google review
Heart Lake is such a beautiful and wide open park. Everything is really well kept and maintained, and even the washrooms are clean, which is a huge plus. There are tons of picnic benches scattered around, so it’s easy to find a spot to sit and relax. The park has a bit of everything: a splash pad, pool, hiking trails, Treetop Trekking, and lots more to do. The entrance fee is on the steep side at around $28 per car, but it feels worth it when you see how much care goes into keeping the place nice. You can come here for a picnic, to hang out, or just to spend a day outdoors. Parking is never an issue either since there’s a ton of it, and it’s also a popular spot for people to host events.

It’s a wonderful scenic area with easy access for trails n family gatherings. Truly enjoyed a race event there. Treetop trekking is another great activity there.

We had an amazing time here! It’s a great place for a family picnic. The pool was perfect for swimming, and the lake offers a beautiful view. There were also other features we didn’t get to try, like the tree-top trekking, which would be a great option for our next holiday trip..

I did the kayaking by the lake with some friends. Customer service was great--I called a few times in advance for booking changes and was also greeted kindly and provided with support. We had a great time. Would come again.

Step back in time at the Historic Bovaird House, a well-preserved 1850s Georgian-style farmhouse located in Brampton. This heritage site offers educational experiences for visitors of all ages, showcasing period-authentic rooms and artifacts that depict the daily lives of early settlers. The museum is run by volunteers who offer engaging tours and interactive displays, making it an ideal outing for families and history enthusiasts.
It opens on specific days, hours. Really worth to visit specifically with kids/teens (free entry, parking). It is a historic site which is run by volunteers and city’s help (you can donate a bit) , a gem within Brampton’s residential layouts, full with history of pre-Canada (dominion) and quick view on how life was there then (in 1800s) plus Brampton’s own history. Many thanks and kudos to Geoff who was our guide and host explaining each and every, small to big things and history, tech around it. Thank him for his patience and taking time out for providing such a detailed and interesting tour to us. Guess what?- they have events in spring and falls with community like gathering for a quick supper where everything is made locally there. Looking forward for that in the Fall this year.

A beautiful example of a period late 18th century home in the heart of Brampton. For a small optional donation you can step into the past and feel what it was like to live in a circa 1852 country home. The home and land was gifted to the city of Brampton by the Bovaird family to be kept as a living museum for all to enjoy. We are lucky to have such a gift and lucky to have the volunteer group “Friends of Historic Bovaird House” who have thoughtfully care and furnished it for the public’s enjoyment.

My first time coming here with family on Mother’s Day and had a wonderful time. I had the cinnamon apple tea and wonderful plate of treats followed: chocolate dipped strawberry, gingerbread cookie, sugar cookie, lemon loaf, fruit cake and a muffin with strawberry jam and whipped cream on the side. If you haven’t tried definitely recommend.

Amazing little house full of our Canadian history and stories about the early settlers and farmers who built Brampton from the ground up. Our guides were very knowledgeable and loved when visitors would ask questions about the day to day lives of the families that lived in this house many generations ago. Thank you to the volunteers, donors, and community Champions who work tirelessly to keep this little piece of history alive for generations to come.

This is a good place to spend an hour when you are in Brampton. You can explore the rooms in the farmhouse both upstairs and downstairs. There are some interesting artifacts such as a fireplace screen and wax candle makers. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. There is free parking and a small shop with crafts. Admission is free but there is a box for donations.

We went to the Bovaird House Sunday, December 3rd, Victorian Christmas Open House. We enjoyed a lovely tea and treats and then took in the various items for sale which were creative, inexpensive and lovely. The House is beautiful and the various artifacts dating back to 1852 were a wonderful step back in time. Volunteers were friendly and very helpful I would suggest this to anyone as a fun activity in December where there aren't crowds and you have time to sit and talk by the fireplace. Enjoy

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this Italian restaurant, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for the evening. What truly elevated my experience was the outstanding service provided by my server, Antonio. From the start, he was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to recommend dishes based on my preferences, and his enthusiasm for the cuisine was contagious. Antonio ensured that every detail was taken care of—our drinks were always refilled promptly, he checked in at just the right moments, and his recommendations turned out to be spot-on. His passion for great service and genuine hospitality made the meal even more enjoyable. The food itself was fantastic—rich, flavorful, and authentically Italian. But beyond the delicious pasta and perfectly cooked entrees, it was Antonio’s impeccable service that made the evening truly memorable. If you ever dine at this restaurant, I highly recommend asking for Antonio—his dedication to customer satisfaction is unmatched. I’ll definitely be returning, not just for the amazing food, but for the outstanding service that made the experience so special.

My fiancé and I recently dined in with our families to celebrate our engagement on 03.15.2025 at Antica Osteria. I booked our reservation a month's in advance via phone with no hassle since we had a group of more than 5 people. On the day of, we were seated promptly, and I believe we were greeted by the owner, who was super friendly and welcoming. I ended up ordering the con frutti di mare with risotto instead of linguine. Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the overall flavour and presentation were immaculate! The rest of our families' dishes were also beautifully well presented and served with generous portions. Our bellies were happy, full, and content towards the end. But to top off our overall dining experience, the owner made a public announcement to the rest of the diners and surprised us with a celebratory piece of cake with 2 alcohol free mango nectar shots (I think?) on the house to celebrate our engagement. Thank you to the owner and all staff members at Antica Osteria for help making our 1st dining experience with our families a memorable one! If you're looking for authentic/fresh Italian food with reasonably priced food; generous portions; and amazing service that gives off familial energy, come to Antica Osteria!! This place is truly a hidden gem and you won't be disappointed!

We came to celebrate my friends birthday it was a group of 6, they charge their own gratuity which I understood but some folks didn't. The food was delicious will definitely be back for the dessert and pasta!

Our recent visit to this quaint, family-owned Italian restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel like we were dining in an Italian home. Angela, our waitress, was attentive, accommodating, and an absolute delight. Her quick service and genuine care elevated the entire experience. Nowadays when you go to a restaurant most waitresses/waiters give you just enough attention to get a decent tip and they don't really care about the service. This was definitely not our experience! The food was truly outstanding. I started with the rice balls and salmon cakes—both perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. For my main, I enjoyed the fettuccine seafood pasta, which was immaculate. To top it off, the tiramisu cake was divine, the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal. We visited as a family to celebrate my uncle's birthday, and the staff went out of their way to make the occasion special by treating him to a thoughtful birthday dessert. It was a touching gesture that made us all feel cherished. The only downside was that the restaurant’s facilities could use some upgrades, particularly the washrooms, which felt a bit dated. However, this minor detail didn’t overshadow the incredible food and service. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine served with genuine hospitality, this place is a must-visit. We’ll certainly be back!
Janelle F — Google review
We drove till Brampton from downtown to taste the fettuccine champagne sauce with shrimp and lamb chops, believe me, it worth. However in my second bite of the pasta I found a piece of steel sponge in inside of my mouth (around 2cm)🤯 If I didn’t chewed my food properly it could ended in a health hazard. Thanks God I always eat calmly paying attention in the hole experience. It’s was a shame… because I have been tried several restaurants and the lamb was perfectly flavoured and cooked as same as the shrimps precisely prepared. I will give it another chance 😊
Renata P — Google review
Great authentic Italian food with a warm, inviting atmosphere. Our server was excellent and very attentive. I especially loved the pasta—both the ravioli and the tiramisu were absolutely fabulous. However, the portions were on the smaller side, and the prices felt quite expensive for what you get.
Anushka — Google review
Antica Osteria never stops amazing me enough. Everytime I visit, I get something new in the specials and they’re always delicious. I highly recommend their seafood specials. I had Grilled Branzino with Champagne Sauce Risotto and being not a big fan of skin on fishes, I loved how it wasn’t fishy at all. Their menu items are also good but go for the specials, you might get a bit lesser portion but taste wise you won’t be disappointed.
Jay G — Google review
I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered Casarecce pasta with halcon sausage, rapini, and mushrooms in red sauce—I forgot the exact name, but the server mentioned it was today’s special. The pasta in the dish was clearly undercooked. I wasn’t sure if it was intentional, so I called my server to ask about it. Instead of addressing my concern politely, she was extremely rude and insisted, “That’s how it’s supposed to be.” I’m a chef, and I work in a kitchen, so I know the difference between properly cooked pasta and something that’s just raw in the middle. To prove my point, I showed her a piece of pasta I had already bitten into so she could see the white, undercooked center. Even then, she insisted it was fine. She finally took the plate back but returned with the same dish, just cooked a little more. In a professional kitchen, if something is wrong, you don’t just recook the same food—you make a fresh one. Even after the second attempt, the pasta was still undercooked, and her attitude remained awful. I completely understand that mistakes happen in restaurants, but the way staff handles them makes all the difference. Instead of being apologetic or helpful, she was dismissive and condescending. The food was bad, and the service was even worse. I left feeling frustrated and unwelcome. Definitely not coming back.

Hayo, there was really good food, ther service was really good and the atmosphere was mostly good because it would have been better if they had recycle bins for all the paper, plastic and metal waste objects like cups and cans! If they have them and I just did not see them then good, please make them more visible! We really must do more for our earth's environment and have more waste accuracy! Over all I had a really good time there and would definitely recommend the venue to others! ~ Roarr!

Best venue!! I recently hosted an event at Bombay Palace and it was the best decision. The managers take their time to understand what you're looking for and deliver exactly what's asked. It's been so long since I have tried a buffet here in canada, I heard a lot about Bombay Palace for a long time, so I thought of trying this time, the pricing is so reasonable for the food, ambience, and service. I would like to give 5/5, but the only reason I am restricting to 4 is less vegetarian starter options, there are 6 veg gravy options, in which they could have easily take off two options and add one good veg starter. I'll definitely visit again, I would like to give 5/5 atleast next time.

Indian restaurant
Mirch Masala Authentic Indian Restaurant is a stylish strip-mall eatery in downtown Brampton, offering contemporary northern Indian cuisine with a twist of Italian and French influences. The menu features reimagined specialties like tandoori dishes, Punjabi-style curries, and the chef's unique version of burrata cheese served with naan, biryani, and butter chicken.
If you’re looking for authentic Indian food in Brampton, Mirch Masala is definitely a must-try! Their flavors are rich, the portions are generous, and everything tastes freshly prepared. I absolutely loved their mushroom truffle soup — creamy, aromatic, and so comforting. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this place if you want to experience the real taste of India with a creative twist. Will definitely be going back!

A great-looking place with a lively atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed the food—everything was delicious, and the presentation was top-notch. The drink was fantastic, and all the dishes we tried were really good. Definitely a spot worth visiting! Edit: The last time I visited, the restaurant was great, but my second visit was not as impressive. The food wasn't hot, and there were several differences compared to my previous experience. The taste was just okay. It might be better to visit on weekends when it's busier, as weekdays could be the issue. Overall, I was not satisfied with the food this time.

The overall experience at Mirch Masala was good – the ambiance and service were satisfying, and most of the dishes we tried had great flavor. However, the kebab was not up to the mark as we expected. It lacked the tenderness and seasoning that usually make kebabs stand out. While everything else was enjoyable, we hoped for a better experience with the kebabs.

Interesting menu. Owner takes personal interest in his guest and a chef himself, that makes all the difference. We were recommended Pinwheel ** Markham Mirchi Shrimp ***** Tandoori shrimp **** soup of the day Wild mushroom in truffle oil. Good smiling servers Kuljit and Prab Live music by Dwyane from Mumbai Bandra 😎

We celebrated our friend’s birthday at Mirch Masala and it was the perfect choice! 🎉 The atmosphere was lively, and the service was outstanding. A special shoutout to Indar, who served us with such warmth and professionalism. she made sure everything was perfect for our celebration. The food was incredible from the Paneer Tikka Tart and Mushroom Rolls to the Kaju Masala, Nalli Nihari, and Chilli Cheese Naan, every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The drinks like Mango in Paradise, Berry Twist, and Lavender Lemonade were refreshing and paired perfectly with our meal. Thank you, Indar, and the Mirch Masala team for making our friend’s birthday so memorable. Highly recommend this spot for birthdays, gatherings, or just a night out you won’t be disappointed!

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Mirch Masala—without a doubt, one of the finest Indian restaurants we’ve ever visited. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and treated to service that truly felt Michelin star-worthy. The staff were incredibly courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable. They guided us through the menu with thoughtful recommendations and made sure we were comfortable throughout our visit. The ambiance was elegant yet cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a special evening. Every dish we tried was a culinary delight—expertly spiced, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. But the true cherry on the cake was the sweet dish we had at the end. It was a masterpiece—perfectly balanced in taste and texture, and presented with finesse. It elevated the entire experience and left us ending the meal on the highest possible note. Mirch Masala is more than just a restaurant—it’s an experience that combines tradition, innovation, and hospitality at the highest level. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for exceptional Indian cuisine.

Fine dining restaurant
Terrace On The Green in Brampton is a stunning fine-dining destination offering a refined atmosphere, a well-stocked wine cellar, and beautiful grounds for leisurely post-dinner strolls. The restaurant's fairytale-like appearance and delectable cuisine, including the signature Terrace Salad, make it an unforgettable dining spot. With its focus on locally sourced ingredients and an international wine selection, this oasis provides a refined dining experience with picturesque garden views.
We hosted a work dinner here and it was absolutely perfect! We had a pre-planned menu with plenty of options that allowed all of our various dietary restrictions to be included. The drinks were varied with a very well trained bartender! The starter antipasto was a delicious blend of flavors and incredibly fresh. The mains were enjoyed by all and the desserts were the perfect size and full of flavor. We look forward to celebrating future events at Terrace on the Green.

We we warmly greeted and service was adequate. The appetizers were good, especially the watermelon salad. The main entrees however were not. Neither dish was of high quality. The duck was very chewy Most of the entree was left uneaten. The outside grounds were pretty and the decor was nice but the lighting created a lack of ambience. The lighting was far too bright for a late evening dinner. The lights were never dimmed at any point during our 2 hour plus visit. We didn't even stay for dessert to celebrate the birthday we came to celebrate. Disappointing especially since we could've returned to a great place in south Mississauga to celebrate but opted to try Terrance instead. Unfortunately we won't return.

This place is a hidden gem! We went after a round of golf around 7 PM and were seated right away with no wait. The staff greeted us warmly and were very accommodating with our menu requests. The food was absolutely delicious. Prices are a little higher than your average steakhouse, but the quality makes it worth it. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Stepping into Terrace on the Green, you're greeted by a vibe that's cozy yet classy, with its warm wood tones and soft lighting making you feel right at home. The place has a genuine charm to it, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed, yet upscale dining experience. The staff treats you like royalty from the get-go, making sure you're well taken care of without hovering too much. We kicked things off with the Terrace Salad, a fresh and vibrant starter. The mix of sweet nuts and fruits with the tangy feta and fresh greens was just right – a great opening act that set the bar high for what was to come. The main event was the Tomahawk Steak, and let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. Cooked perfectly medium rare, it was juicy, flavorful, and just melted in your mouth. The sides weren't just afterthoughts either; the roast potatoes were spot on, the mashed potatoes creamy and comforting, and the asparagus was surprisingly sweet – no bitterness at all. Ending on a high note, the molten lava cake was pure bliss. Just the right amount of gooey, it was a chocolate lover's dream come true. But what really made the night special was the feeling you got being there. Terrace on the Green has a way of making a meal feel like an occasion, thanks to its heartwarming setting and top-notch service. It’s the kind of place that reminds you why going out for dinner is so much more than just eating – it's about enjoying every moment. Which is great because now I have a place to host events from private dinners to large social gatherings with their well-appointed indoor and outdoor spaces.

The Terrace on the Green is truly an outstanding restaurant and event venue! The food is absolutely fantastic — every dish is crafted with care and full of flavor. The service is just as impressive, with staff who are incredibly kind, attentive, and considerate of every little request from their guests. This is not only a wonderful place to dine, but also a breathtaking venue for events. Surrounded by beautiful grounds, it offers multiple rooms and elegant tents to host gatherings of any size. Whether for a personal celebration or a business function, I can’t recommend it enough. A special mention goes to the amazing managers, Rick and Nick, who are true hands-on leaders. They work right alongside their team to ensure every event runs smoothly from start to finish. Their dedication, along with the staff’s genuine care for each guest, makes everyone feel important, attended to, and even a little spoiled. If you’re looking for an exceptional culinary experience combined with top-tier hospitality in a stunning setting, The Terrace on the Green is the place to go!

We just had our wedding celebration there on October 25th. The management of Nic & Ricky are second to none. They have a staff that was engaged 100% to ensure the Bride & Groom were fully pleased with the facility, food, drink and general atmosphere. If you are considering any special event; wedding, anniversary, birthday or celebration of life............Go to Terrace of the Green and check out one of their many rooms and packages. It is also an excellent place for an intimate dinner with your loved one..........Thanks HD

We recently hosted a private event at Terrace on the Green and were impressed with the service and quality of food. They went out of their way to accommodate our guests needs and the best part was they allowed us to stream the World Series game. The hospitality was excellent. We will definitely be back.

The staff is what makes this restaurant an experience that should be had by all. From the greeting, to the service, to the prepared dishes, to the creative beverages. Lucky to have a night where you feel more than a guest but a part of their evening. Special thank you to Ricky, Terrance and Nick for making a special night even more special. Cheers.

J. Red & Co Food + Drink is a modern tavern with vibrant decor that serves up delicious wood-fired pizzas and innovative burgers. While some visitors have noted minor service issues, others have praised the friendly staff and enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant has also received positive feedback for hosting events, offering generous portions of family-style dishes, such as house salad, chicken wings, calamari, steamed vegetables, pasta Primavera, Thai fighter, steak and potatoes, salmon and rice.
My family and I went after church and I gotta say...WOW. Loved it there. Not only was the food amazing, the servers (especially Krista) was amazing. Deff love how they let their cook (Filipino menu) make some dishes! As a Filipino family we loved how they incorporated some infused dishes of the Philippines! Way to go J Red & Co! My family and I will be back!!! 👍🏼

This was our first visit and place was nice. Friendly waitress but not very attentive. We ordered drinks. I ordered wine. My drink cane is carafe but no glass was provided. Had to wait for that. Then we ordered appetizers. They arrived but no plates were provided. Our bottle of water finished, despite the waitress and food delivery staff came a few times, no one replaced the bottle. Finally I had to firmly ask for it and got it. Food was good presentation and tasty. No complaints there. Washroom smelled awesome. Will definitely go back but may sit at the bar next time instead of a table.

J Red & Co hosted our event for 13 people and we are very satisfied with our order. The menu consisted of family style: house salad, chicken wings, calamari, steamed vegetables, pasta Primavera, Thai fighter (my husband's ultimate favorite dish), steak and potatoes, salmon and rice. The portions were generous. Everyone enjoyed the food and there was plenty of leftovers for them to take home. Thank you to J Red, especially Shannon for coordinating the order. It was great to have your recommendations and accommodating our requests.

It's good, just good. There was nothing that stood out about the food at this restaurant. The flavor was good, presentation was nice, however prices and portions were both slightly disappointing. Nothing really stood out about the service either, and somehow they ran out of oysters on oyster night with the restaurant only half full. There beer selection is fun and they have a cool assortment of hot sauces. I would probably go back because it had a chill vide and you can have a good time with friends, but as a foodie I would not recommend visiting for the purpose of eating.

We came here on a Friday night which is one of the days that they have live music. We ordered fresh oysters, cauliflower wings, the grilled calamari for and the seafood pasta. Delicious food, fantastic customer service and amazing atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We came to J. Red & Co. several Tuesdays ago and it was great. Some relatives recommended it to us for dinner as one of their favorite local restaurants in Brampton, and it was definitely much better than so many places in the GTA. We had the special, white and red, Sangrias, Calamari Fritti, Spicy Nashville Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries, and The G.O.A.T. Beef Burger with Onion Rings. The calamari was cooked perfectly; the burger was undoubtedly one of the best that we’ve ever had; the big onions rings were unbelievable meaty and light; the sandwich was a flavorful big piece of crispy chicken breast; and the sangrias were delicious. The ambiance was cool and relaxed, and there was a local duo band playing good jams and keeping the mood up. The restaurant area is spacious, inside and outside, and the service was very friendly and diligent. If we lived closer, we would definitely come back more often.

We were looking for a place to eat because we were visiting family and J. Red & Co was brought up as somewhere to check out and I had not been there in about three or four years. I was surprised that when we arrived we were not asked for our name and phone number incase there was an outbreak...like required these days. Anyways, I ordered the Fish and Chip special for $17.00 and my girlfriend got the Spicy Nashville Chicken Sandwich for $18. The Fish was thin and over bartered, the Coleslaw was over drenched in olive oil, and the fries were the hero of the meal (except the ones that were soaked with olive oil at the bottom of the plate). The coleslaw that accompanied the fish was very underwhelming taste wise and the only things you could taste was olive oil and red onions which was disappointing after tasting the other meal. Now for the meal that was actually worth the money and was packed with flavour the Spicy Nashville Chicken Sandwich. From the first bite you are hit with various flavours that excite the pallet with tastes of the delicious pickled slaw and the buffalo butter! The size was good for the money and left my girlfriend feeling full enough that she needed to share the remainder with me which was greatly appreciated and needed because the two millimetre thick fish was too small to do anything for my hunger except move the needle slightly. If you’re going here I would suggest getting the pasta or the burger because both look like they would offer far more value. Ordered two beers and a cider between the two of us and that was enough for this meal.
