Awesome, The interior was a lot bigger than anticipated. Walking through the whole thing was about 2 and 1/2 hours. Very great displays and very informational. Very historic experience. The parking lot is spacious enough for the typical crowd which is small to medium size on the weekend. The price is great with only $15 per person. You're allowed to take as many pictures as you want, this makes for a good outing

If you are in Houston simply go! A Surprisingly Fascinating Experience: If you’re looking for something truly unique to do in Houston, I highly recommend visiting the National Museum of Funeral History. It might sound a little unusual at first, but that’s exactly what makes it such a memorable experience! The museum offers a surprisingly thoughtful and fascinating look at the history, art, and culture surrounding funerals and mourning traditions. The exhibits are beautifully curated and cover everything from historic hearses and presidential funerals to customs from around the world. It’s both educational and eye-opening — a place that makes you reflect while also satisfying your curiosity. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the museum itself is spacious, clean, and very well organized. I only wish we allocated more time, we were on a time crunch!

I was pleasantly surprised by this museum. It was much larger than I expected. The displays were well light and very informative. If you visit, I would start out going counter clockwise through the museum.

Absolutely fantastic! If you enjoy the history of funeral service, automotive, history of cultures and people than this is a museum for you! You will learn the history of embalming and caring for decedent to the how transport has changed over the years. There is a fascinating display about the Shroud of Turin and the burial of a Pope. Life size replicas of scenes. There is also a room filled with Memorial folders for famous figures in history from presidents to civil rights leaders to actors. The price is reasonable as well and the staff is very friendly and there to answer any questions you may have.

An amazing museum that will excite any museum fan. There is a huge exhibit with plenty of stuff to see and learn about. I went during the Witch's Brew event and it was really amazing to see such a huge variety of vendors who each sold unique items that was a must-buy for me. Pair that with all the unique costumes that other patrons wore coupled with the super friendly and helpful staff made the experience unbeatable. I also really enjoyed the company of the on duty officers that were there. Even with such a large crowd, their presence made the place feel very safe. I'm looking forward to going again next year! If you can get the V.I.P. tickets, they are totally worth it!

Wow! What an experience. They have so many artifacts and so many different branches of funeral paraphernalia, it was shocking. I expected to be here for maybe an hour, and I think I was there for about three hours. I highly recommend it!

It doesn’t open until 11am. Google says 9am but that is incorrect. Three slides were down so we missed out on those. They closed all slides, wave pool and jungle gym two hours after being there because they said lightning was spotted 5-10 miles away. We did however buy the “all day dining package” and I believe it’s worthy as everything cost $16-20 per food item. With the pass you can get one food item every 90 minutes and it also comes with an all day refillable drink and you can refill it every 15 minutes. We enjoyed the time we had but wish we got to experience more rides.

Caution: Double-Check the Hours Before You Go! *Long post alert* Before planning your visit to Hurricane Harbor, I highly recommend calling the park directly to confirm their hours of operation. Unfortunately, both the website and Google listed opening times that were two hours earlier than when the park actually opened. This caused a lot of frustration for my family and several other guests who arrived early, only to be turned away and told to wait. On the bright side, the security staff was very professional and understanding. The guard who spoke with us mentioned this happens quite often, and he kindly suggested some nearby restaurants where we could pass the time. The Good Stuff: Once inside, my friends and family had a fantastic time! There are plenty of rides and attractions to keep everyone entertained, from the youngest kids to adults. The staff throughout the park were friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed by the lifeguards—they were attentive and clearly took their responsibilities seriously. A Few Downsides: Prices inside the park are quite high, though that’s pretty standard for theme parks. The initial inconvenience with the posted hours put a damper on the start of our day. Overall, while the experience was mixed due to the confusion about opening hours and the high prices, we still made some great memories. And at the end of the day, those memories are priceless!

So the park is actually quite nice. I'm a little disappointed as a person who owns a pass that works for both Cedar, Fair, and Six Flags, and it's kind of misleading. There's no way for you to buy an all park meal and drink pass for Six Flags without paying for a another season pass, even though you already have one that works at both park chains through Cedar Point, it's a glitch. They need to fix ASAP. Also, they didn't open up the 2 highest tallest slides until more than half the day was gone. They said it was maintenance, but it was clear. There wasn't enough people there to justify having 2 employees standing up there. So those of us that came early instead of later in the day didn't have an opportunity to enjoy those slides. Another issue it seems like a petty money grab that they don't provide inner tubes free of charge for their lazy river. You have to walk in it. I've never heard of a lazy river where you have to pay to get an inner tube.

Hurricane Harbor is good park and there are many good water rides. Only problem I see is every time I visit the park there are at least 2 to 3 rides which are partially closed or fully closed. We also visited Tidal Cafe and employee over there are friendly and helped customizing the food request, I want to thanks *Nevaeh T* she did took care of our order. Since many years this park has not changed and lazy river is not good at all compare to other water parks. New rides addition should be done and upgrades are much needed in this park.

Definitely a great family place. Wouldn’t recommend a major holiday lol but we still had a great time. It wasn’t packed but busy. Great food. Great service. Life guards are on duty but you need to keep an eye out for your own children of you can.

Today I brought my son to the waterpark for the first time. My son has some Disabilities and so I did some major planning to make this trip, right. I will say that over the phone was very hard to get through to anybody, but once I got to the park. The staff was absolutely amazing! I didn’t struggle with the check-in through security with his medical equipment or dietary needs. Had a small hiccup, but Officer Bryan cleared it up quickly. They also made my son feel very special and gave him a security hat and a badge and a patch. My cabana host was extremely sweet to us getting any information we needed. I believe her name was Kcj. The lifeguards made my job easier at any attraction we went to by making sure my son’s wheelchair was take care of while we were in the water. Everybody was very accommodating about how to get around in certain areas with his chair. The staff continuously checked on us. Officer Bryan Came to check on us more than once. Even as we were leaving the park the staff was making sure that we were good from start to finish.

We bought season passes for the kiddos because Mondays we are off and have done this for a few years. I understand that the weather has been weird but even on the days where the weather is great, the park has been closed. I haven’t been able to use my pass at all this year and 4 times we’ve driven up to the park for it to be closed. Other families are waiting and including today, the park is closed! Y’all were supposed to be open at 9. It’s after 1030 and people are leaving while we sit here waiting, now impatiently. No updates given either. At this point we need a full refund for not being able to use our passes. The summer is halfway over! A waste of drive time and money!

My son had a field trip today, and we all had a great time. Staff here are great, very passionate about the animals. You can tell they love what they do, and they love the animals here. They take pride in their job, and they are not afraid to advocate for these animals and the property.

Great tour for the price! You get to enjoy seeing a lot of new animals that you might be able to see. With the 30 dollar tour you get to pet a lot of the farm animals they have (if the animals allow it haha). Some of them include the tortoise, pigs, lamb. Very cute and sweet animals! Definitely recommend. Our tour guide was amazing.

I feel like this place is a hidden gem. I liked that though because it wasn’t crowded and hectic. We hosted our daughters 10th birthday party and had an unforgettable time at TGR. Gwen was extremely helpful with tips for the guest, they decorated beautifully for the Capybara them. I liked that the tour was private too. You don’t get that anywhere else for the price. Rachel, our guide, was so patient and informative. She gave a great tour and we learned so much about all the animals. They have so many different animals and you can tell they are very well taken care of. They have personalities and act super healthy for their age. I was amazed. I want to go back just for my own pleasure because I need to pet more animals. With a party of 20 guests and some showing up late, you are kind of limited in time. It was an amazing experience.

This was the best day EVER!!! We did the basic tour + the capybara experience. I thought I knew a lot about animals but I was schooled at TGR. The group was small and intimate and lead by a guide with an overabundance of animal knowledge - Gwen ♥️ Please don’t let other reviews deter you, their animals are all healthy, happy and thriving! 13/10 would go every day if they let me in!

Excellent service from Team TGR Exotics Wildlife Park and our tour guide. We enjoyed everything. We didn't reserve before coming and was able to get in on an upcoming tour. They do honor veterans and we were given a discount. Ms. Gwen and her team are awesome!

First, ALL tours are by reservation only. There is a separate expense, in addition to the basic tour, if you want to see the reptiles. Secondly, you can ONLY park on side of the road and there is NOOOOOOO shoulder. My 84 year old mother, who absolutely loves animals, was denied entry because she's not totally mobile. When we made the reservation, we told this to the lady on the phone. AT NO TIME did they ever state that one a) has to park on the street (side of the road), and b) you're not allowed to drive into the park. Irrespective of health situation. There's a building, in their vernacular, a "portable" that is approximately 125 meters from the entrance of the park. The distance, although flat, is not suitable for anyone that has mobility issues. Even in this instance, I was not allowed to drive into the park and drop off my mother. Thus, my mom and I stayed in my truck while my wife, nephew, and grandson toured the park. I cannot speak to the tour, nor the animals seen on the tour. I can only speak to the experience of leading up to the park. I would advise the owners of this park to issue disclaimers on their website stating that customers will need to park on the street and that those customers with mobility issues will find it hard to make it to the portable building on site.

We had an amazing time! We chose to spend our 14th anniversary doing this and it was so cool. Such a special way to spend the day, especially when you’re an animal lover! Gwen was an outstanding tour guide! She was very knowledgeable and shared great information about all of the animals along with really cool fun facts! We didn’t feel rushed in anyway, which was nice. We also did the the Sloth encounter. What can I say… best experience ever!! All of the animals are very loved and cared for. We will absolutely do it again in the future.

Best indoor play area it is CONSISTENTLY clean, friendly staff! We enjoy it here every time we come in. The party prices are great too! Had my daughter’s 5th birthday here. We chose the private party option with Bouncin’ Bears Texas back in October- had the whole place to ourselves and our party host was amazing! At night they had party lights on, disco ball and music playing. You can bring your own cake, decor, food and drinks in*** (they have certain restrictions on it) highly recommend Bouncin’ Bears Texas🙂

I hosted my daughter's 3rd birthday party here this past weekend. It was amazing and Candace was a superstar. She hustled from the moment we walked in the door, and I never had to worry about a thing. Thank you so much for making the day so special and fun! We will be back many times over.

We love Bouncin' Bears! I have a 10 year old and a 3 year old and finding somewhere they can both enjoy is difficult but this is the one place they both get so excited to come to together. There is a wide array of options for both of them, and they love that they can do the big pillow together. As a parent, I appreciate nice tables to sit at, especially the huge fan keeping it cool! The bathrooms are always clean and well tended to. I have been here when it was spring break and very crowded and again on a dead week day and it's still always been fun. I've never had issues with kids who are out of control or felt like I was overstimulated and needed to leave. It's a peaceful place for a parent to let the kids get out energy, especially in the summer!

Great indoor space for kids to play. Lots of seating for parents. Wide open spaces for running and jumping . Great variety of jump options including those for small children.

Brought my son (4) here because it’s just too hot outside. This was a great time! Very clean facility. Super clean restrooms! All bounce houses felt clean and so did the carpet. Very well maintained facility and super cheap pricing. Will definitely recommend to my mom friends and return soon!

My kids love the bounce houses and variety. Place is small but makes it easy to keep an eye on them. They will play for a couple of hours usually before they get too tired from running around.

I guess we caught them at a bad time. We paid $20 per person plus tip to taste 3 wines each. We only liked 1 of the 4 we tasted so we ended up leaving $40 worth of wine sitting there when we left. People serving at the patio bar definitely made us feel like a nuisance. No explanation of what we were drinking or the venue. It’s a shame, the grounds are beautiful and it’s close to our house, we would make an effort to come back if we had had a pleasant experience but we didn’t.

The wine is truly terrible I’m embarrassed we just paid 49 dollars for a bottle of this quality! We ordered the charcuterie boards and it came in a plastic container and it clearly was sitting in the fridge for a long time!

Enjoy the concerts, but wine has gotten very expensive and food is mediocre. Sorry for the honesty guys, but there are other wineries in the area who offer great wines and craft beers. Here the bands take extra long breaks and don’t really give more than a few hours of live play. Re-evaluate folks, other wise we’re moving down the road….

I live nearby and have never been to Wild Stallion Vineyard, but they often play extremely loud music late at night that keeps me and my children from sleeping. I’ve tried calling multiple times to discuss the issue, but no one ever answers the phone. It’s very frustrating and inconsiderate to the neighborhood.

Hidden Gem!!! Supporting local vineyard. Lisa and everyone is very helpful and friendly. Beautiful family owned vineyard with great music. Today at Sangria Saturday from 12-4pm live music with Andrew Bateman. Andrew is a gifted musician. He created a song just for me on the spot. It was a wonderful visit.

Such a great time! Ever wonder where the over 40 crowd goes to have a fun Saturday night? Well this is the place! Great love music, affordable and Wonderful owners. Can't believe I've been driving by this gem of a place for years and didn't even know it was there. We'll definitely be back!

Went here for an event on Saturday and was so much fun. Winery was beautiful. They still offered tours of the grounds on golf courts if you wanted to know to story and let you still try some wines since they close their tasting room for events. Woman at tasting tent was so nice and helped us out when they were busy. The band was such a nice touch and was a good nice to spend there. Definitely a great experience!!

We are new to the neighborhood and loved our first visit to the Republic Grille. The staff was especially fantastic. From the friendly welcome at the door, to our server, Jada, who was knowledgeable about the menu and the wine, and was attentive and enthusiastic about making sure we enjoyed every aspect of our meal, to the manager that checked in to welcome us. The food was excellent with a lot of unique options to choose from. We will be back!

Had a wonderful birthday dinner there this past weekend. Our waiter, Mario, did a wonderful job keeping up with our party of 5. They only had outside seating available - the wait for indoor was an hour. My one wish is that there had been more fans. It was pretty hot.

Came here for my 1st time with some work colleagues for a dinner. This place was absolutely amazing and wish there was one closer to my home. While we were walking up the door was opened from the host before we could even reach it and greeted very politely. We were seated immediately and only waited a few minutes before the waitress took our drink order. I forgot to take pictures but we had the crab cakes along with the Mac and cheese bites. Both were absolutely amazing. I really like the feature they have of being able to scan a QR Code and it shows a picture of every menu item. I kept it basic with a bacon cheeseburger in which I really liked. One person got the chicken fried steak with bacon jalepeno mac and cheese in which he really liked as well. Another work colleague got the shrimp and grits in which he said he was blown away from it! Would definitely like to come back and try some of their drinks because they looked amazing and I couldn't drink because I had my company vehicle.

Upscale grill with different takes on the old classics. The chicken fried steak was reminiscent of Strack Farms. Everything was fresh from the Caprese appetizer down to the grilled veggies and BACON JALAPEÑO MAC N CHEESE! You heard me! My wife had the Chicken Woodlands which is her favorite. Service was excellent. For example, my sweet tea got down to half glass and another magically appeared. Great for date nights or time with the family!

Busy weekend due to Mother's Day, but it was no excuse to be understaffed or under attentive to customers . The beer i ordered sat at the bar so long it wasn't cold anymore. Didn't get water refilled. Thankfully, the meal made up for it.

First off let’s start with the drinks lol! The lemon drop I would give a 7.8/10.. the pear-tini easily a 15/10! It carries a slight punch but the pear makes the drink not harsh on the taste buds. Second let’s talk about the food! I got the chicken fried chicken, broccoli, and mac n cheese with bacon and jalapeno! I’d marry the cook if I could!! The gravy was phenomenal… I passed it around the table for others to try and honestly I didn’t think I would get it back!! It’s the same story for the mac with bacon a jalapeno… it reminds you of a stuffed jalapeno wrapped in bacon!! The sweet corn with jalapeno was a table favorite as well. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything on the menu! My server was Jada and she was very attentive. If you happen to be going for happy hour or because you are dying of hunger ask for Jayda Wayda!

The quesadilla were so good, cheesy, full of flavor and cooked just right. Definitely something I’d go back and order again.

Good portion of Food everything was on point and taste awesome 😋 They vibe is great. The waitresses were very polite and on top of things if you needed something. The drinks were good we got the zombie margaritas, they were hitting the spot. Mostly definitely going back again.

What a fun place! There were six of us, so a large group. Service was fast and friendly, the food was amazing - everything from chips and salsa and queso to to the cocktails - it was all delicious. Definitely recommended!

It was my first time eating here with a friend, and we were just unsure what to eat. I wish there was more pictures of the meals or a tablet that has images of the various meals to choose from. Our only cons was the guacamole wasn't fully chopped, and the tortillas had hair on them. The Manager Alex stopped by our table before we left. We respectfully informed him of the good and the unfortunate things about what we ordered. He immediately apologized and spoke to the waitress. He walked over and gave us two $25.00 gift cards due to the slight issues with our orders. We will be back again due to Mr. Alex and the delicious food. See pictures with my posting.

The green sauce is delicious 🔥. The chips & salsa hit everytime. The green sauce that comes w/it trumps everything. I love the portions, free refills, & the overall flavor. Their margaritas are delicious, prices are reasonable, & the Enchiladas are 🔥. Let's keep the prices, dont chg that, the portion size is great, & i ordered double rice. The server greeted me pretty fast, food came out in timely manner, restaurant appeared clean, my table, chairs, & floor were clean. The silverware & glasses were clean. Thats rare for houston restaurants. 💯 They get BUSINESS. My server was a female, kind, attentive, & i left her a $25 credit card tip & $50 cash tip. Hope she got it. Ty for being accepting of me being a solo diner that evening. Ty for your service. 💖 The food was exactly what you WANT & NEED when u want mexican food. 💯

We came in with a group of 15 just before 4pm today (on a Friday, turns out right at shift change). We hosted my parents 50th anniversary last night at Wunsche Bros. The atmosphere is a whole esthetic of rustic elegance and the food was delicious—many guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meals. I felt the pricing was fair and the event coordinator, Peyton, was extremely attentive and easy to work with. She made the experience a breeze after we had to change from a different venue that had fallen through. (Seriously loved working with her!) I’m so glad the other spot was a no-go, as Wunsche gave us the celebration we envisioned! We were so blessed in our service, as well, from JC, Lisa, and Shanon. They kept upbeat and on the ball in a room with complex allergies, little kids, and high energy. They did a fantastic job of keeping us fed and on time as the night came to a close. Seriously kind and attentive service! Manager, Jason, worked with us, as well, and helped to make details from setting up music to payment easy to understand. The team at Wunsche is top notch and I would host another event here without hesitation. Thank you!

Wunsche bros is awesome!!! We were walking around old town and there were sooo many food options so we asked a shop owner where we should eat and she highly suggested this place and I’m so glad we listened! It was one of the coolest places to eat, they had the three stooges playing in the back on a projector. Everyone was so nice and our waiter Damien was incredibly kind and very attentive! He was always checking on us and bringing us whatever we needed. He even gave us a little history about the building! This is a must stop place, you won’t regret it. Oh and the food…amazing!! My sister and I definitely over ordered and we tried everything, we were not mad about it at all! Thank you to the Wunsche bros team :)

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff are so friendly and attentive, and our waitress, Patience, was a true gem. She impressed us with her knowledge of Wunsche Bros’ history and even shared some of the haunted stories, which made the experience even more memorable. The manager also took the time to sit and chat with us, which made us feel truly welcomed. The food was incredible—cooked to perfection—and the fries were unlike anything I’ve ever had, with airy pockets that gave the perfect crunch-to-soft ratio. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We sat out on the patio and a train went by. It felt so good outside. We went for my son's birthday. I got the chicken fried chicken and it was so good. We got a full order of beer bread too. So good. Our Server, Tyler was very sweet and got us everything we needed. We will be back. It is a very cool place.

I went to Wunche Brothers for my sister’s birthday—it was my first visit. Not the best time to go since Old Town Spring is known for tough parking; we ended up about five blocks away. The restaurant was packed for Saturday lunch, and we were seated in a back area where sound echoed so badly, it was hard to talk to someone even one seat over. Despite that, the service was excellent. Our waitress was friendly and professional, and when we had an issue with a salt shaker, the manager came over to apologize and gave us free dessert and a signed birthday card, which was a really nice gesture. I’m on a budget, so I appreciated that the club sandwich was affordable—and huge. My husband and I both got it and had leftovers. The fries were great, too. The rest of the group loved their meals and desserts: chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, cheeseburger, and a massive pork chop that looked delicious, chocolate whiskey cake that was light and not dense at all, and the key lime pie was sweet . The women’s restroom was clean, and all the staff we interacted with were kind and courteous. I’d definitely go back, but next time I’ll ask to sit in a quieter spot where voices don’t echo as much.

Alec was amazing! So thoughtful, very engaging and great service with the best smile. The food cannot be bragged about enough! We found this gem via Google and it did not disappoint. Delicious and fresh. The atmosphere is one of a kind. Amazing ambience.

First time at this restaurant and most likely the last one. The only good item they have is the white queso. I had the quesabirria tacos and they don’t taste like birria at all. Their rice is not good at all. Drinks tasted like really cheap tequila. Service was great I think ye waitress name was Alicia. She did really good.

A very pleasant dining experience with my beautiful wife. We are not from here (we are actually from the Rio Grande Valley / Southern Border area, 6 hours South, where really great Tex-Mex cuisine is the norm) and we are so glad that we gave this establishment a chance! The chicken tacos plate were filled with genuine flavor and the rice and beans were on spot! The beef fajitas were cooked medium-well and every tender bite revealed a pleasant, fire-grilled flavor! Lemonade was very pleasing and our waitress, Maribel, was the epitome of what a customer service oriented professional should be! I’m not sure when we’ll return to The Woodlands, but this will be the place for dinner once again. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience!

My daughter and I stopped in while visiting Texas. It was close to where we were staying and conveniently close to Target and other stores. Parking was free and we were seated quickly. The chips and salsa were hot and fresh. I appreciate that we both received our own bowl of salsa and not having to share. Service was good. We both ordered enchiladas that came with rice and beans. The food was hot, sauces were good, and the portion sizes were huge. We both wished the chicken was more seasoned because beyond the sauce the protein was pretty bland. All and all it was a good experience.

Getting here is super easy and they give you spectacular attention. 💯 Our waitress served us very friendly and the service was excellent and very fast. The food??? Delicious each of the dishes and the prepared lemonade very tasty!🤤🤤 We really liked this restaurant!

The host led us to a table right to kitchen and service utilities. He just left the stack of menus and left. Another server came back a few minutes to get the drinks order. Upon order taking, he asked the men first before women ( discouteous,really!) Not very attentive to details too as when our combo order came back, my chicken enchilada became a ground beef wrap topped with cream sauce and my prime meat beef taco a chicken grille cubed taco ! For a $$ restaurant , not a way to go!

If you like Gringo's or Jimmy Changa's... This place is not for you. They use a different cheese for enchiladas (my son was choking on it) and my other son totally disliked enchiladas and refried beans. Quesadillas were good Chicken strips were a bit dry. Chips and salsa were okay. The fajitas nachos were okay. The rice had a greasy taste. Kids meals are around $8 and include kid drinks (that was the only plus). Getting a refill was a totally different issue.

Our server Joe was amazing good was fantastic I highly recommend the Beef fajitas they were soooooo good!!! Margarita was awesome definitely will come back
