Museums
The National Quilt Museum in Paducah, established in 1991, is a hub for fiber arts and quilting enthusiasts. With over 600 unique quilts on display across three galleries, it boasts one of the world's finest collections. Recognized as the National Quilt Museum of the United States, it draws over 40,000 visitors annually. The museum challenges old-fashioned stereotypes by showcasing quilting as a respected fine art form through colorful and contemporary exhibits.
The pieces are beautifully displayed. It is easy to move through the galleries and easily see everything. Admission price is very reasonable, with discounts for various groups, including seniors. This is my third visit, I recognized a few pieces from their small permanent collection, but most of the space is dedicated to new collections. Fabulous and definitely worth the time, even for non quilters. These are truly works of art.

In total transparency, I'm not a quilt fan generally. But I love art. So, this museum exceeded my widest expectations as an art lover. As an art museum, this is a spectacular success. I highly recommend this place if you have an hour or two to spend.
Joel U — Google review
Do you enjoy quilting? Or art? Or Americana? Than this place is for you. What people can do with quilting is amazing. The displays were actually really interesting. Took us maybe 30 minutes to walk through. Could have been much longer if you read about all the artists and whatnot. Had a fun little gift shop. Not really any quilts for sale but they do have them time to time.
Herb B — Google review
I wasn't sure i wanted to visit here......HOWEVER, I was pleasantly surprised. Houses over 700 quilts. Some look 3 dimensional, sone are old. Some hand stitched and some machine stitched. Takes about 30-45 min to get through it, self paced, so you may chose to take more or less time. Was worth the fee.
Valerie G — Google review
Loved this experience. The quilts were truly amazing. I was so excited to see the Gees Bend quilts. The Fire exhibit was something to see. Such detail and amazing pieces of artwork to see for certain. Hats off to those quilters.
Anna C — Google review
I was expecting quilts like my grandmother made. What i got was an introduction to the art of quilting. The first exhibit contained magnificent works of art with color, texture, dimension, in a variety of techniques my grandmother would not have known of. Because of traveling exhibitions and a massive collection of museum owned quilts, my next visit will be different in equally amazing ways. It was definitely worth the trip!
Andrea W — Google review
We took the tour which is about an hour. You can spend all day if you want. The quilts are exquisite. Exhibits change from time to time. Very nice museum with a gift shop and some lovely, large stained glass pieces.
Patty — Google review
This isn't your grandma's quilt! Absolutely overwhelmed by this stunning collection. We took our 4 boys, ages 6-9, and they were mesmerized by the works and entertained by the "make your own quilt" display. And one boy was inspired to "play the piano" with one of them, without touching of course! Art lovers of all ages will find something to love here.

Historical landmark
Situated on the historic riverfront, the Inland Waterways Museum (previously River Discovery Center) offers an immersive exploration of the human history, natural environment, economy, and culture of two renowned rivers. Housed in a significant mid-1840s brick structure that once served as the Branch Bank of Louisville, this child-friendly museum features interactive exhibits including a boat simulator for piloting towboats, pleasure boats, and Coast Guard buoy tenders.
This is a very nice little family friendly museum that tells the history of the Ohio River and Paducah. The boat simulator is very fun to operate. The different areas of the museum are very interesting. It is a very "hands on" museum that both adults and children will like. It's definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Interesting and informative cool ship driving simulator HOWEVER there is an abused map turtle there. Water level was very low and enclosure was too small. That brings it way down as a animal lover. This is just plain abusive!
Grace B — Google review
It's a small museum with gift shop. We, kids/teens/moms/seniors, found it to be an enjoyable and calming walk of river exploration. Just wish it was I bit bigger.
Chandra S — Google review
We took a day trip to Paducah and stopped in at the River Discovery Center with my nephew. We found it very informative and learned so much of the history of the area as well as the progression of the river as a commerce highway. Would recommend to anyone interested in history. Don't forget to try out the boat simulator!

Was a great place to spend a couple hours learning and enjoying the rich history of the river. We had two small children who had fun exploring the different exhibits and the play area. It's a smaller museum, but they've utilized the space well.

My 11 year old Daughter enjoyed it.It was A Great Mom Daughter Day outing, She enjoyed the Upstairs with the antique/Old Furniture and We enjoyed walking around talking and Reading the Signs. We enjoyed the Models of the Steamboats, And the History on the Flood, it doesn't take very long to walk through. Clean Restroom with Diaper Changer Elevator to Upstairs. Nice Little gift Shop .also they Have A Little Kid's area if One Parent wanted to walk through while the other one stayed and Played with there Little ones there.

A great museum for the kids (13 & 3) there was allot of information on the exhibits we probably spent 2-3 hours there and if I had time I would have loved to have spent more. Krystal (SP) made my daughters day by guiding her thru the museum and teaching her about each exhibit even went into the storage and bringing her things to physically interact with while my wife and I toured the upstairs. If I am ever in the area again I will look forward to revisiting the Center.

Great briefing by the super nice lady at the entrance on the history of the building and the rivers. You have to stop in to truly appreciate the significance of this town and our American waterways.

Historical landmark
The Whitehaven Welcome Center is a 24/7 rest stop located in a classic 1860s Southern mansion that also functions as a tourist information center. The center boasts period decor, and parking options are plentiful. Masks are currently mandatory at the facility, which is exceptionally clean. Visitors can stroll through the historic location and admire the intriguing exhibits inside, although gates may be closed at certain times of day.
Beautiful Kentucky Welcome Center right off I-24. Located in a well-preserved historic building with a peaceful, well-kept surrounding area. Plenty of parking for both trucks and passenger cars. There are picnic tables under tall, shady trees, a dog walking area, and incredibly clean restrooms. Inside, you’ll also find a small museum that adds a nice touch to the stop. The whole place has a calm, welcoming vibe. If you're passing through, definitely worth a stop.

Very well maintained with super clean restroom. Most of the staffs were older folks, and truly appreciate and respect the work they do to keep this place welcoming. Definitely recommend stopping here if you are passing through! Thank you Kentucky!

What a beautiful location!! We traveled many hours by the time we made it to this rest stop, and it was such a relief to see the sign telling us it was there. The place is very clean, and in a beautiful location! We picked up a map and a paper for our memories. There's such a nice lounge inside, and a beautiful area to walk around outside. We happily stretched our legs, looked all around, used the restrooms, and eventually traveled on for the next 12 hours of our ride. Very happy to have stopped here

This has been a regular stop for my family and I when we are passing through the area. The restrooms are always clean and stocked. There are vending machines and travel information. I highly recommend taking the tour of the house if you are able. The restoration is amazing. The grounds outside are very well kept and have lovely flowers seasonally.

Specialty Museums
The Paducah Railroad Museum, established in 1996, is situated in downtown Paducah and housed in the former Illinois Central agents home. It offers a captivating journey through western Kentucky's rail travel history using an array of photographs, historical artifacts, vehicles, and train sets. The museum also features a train simulator that allows visitors to experience the excitement of operating a locomotive.
Wifey and I are suckers for certain kinds of museums, and Railroad museums are towards the top of that list. When in Paducah for a recent weekend we decided the Paducah Railroad Museum was a must-visit. This Railroad Museum is kind of sprawling, given the space it's located in. There are several room and A LOT of railroad memorabilia and signage. Some of the signage is hooked up as a demo and some aren't. Some of the first things you see as you enter are vintage railroad furniture dating back decades. Looking at a seat from a dining car from the Good Old Days of Railroading give me a sense of nostalgia for a time that I wish I'd been around for. In one corner there is a engineer's simulator, showing the controls of the engine and what the engineer's view would be. We didn't get to step in, but I understand that it's an option. In one enclosure is an amazingly well done model train. On display are post cards, posters, news clippings, and magazines dating back, in some cases, 100 years or more, celebrating the way railroading used to be. Since I've always been fascinated by trains and tracks, this was very much a museum I could visit often (if it weren't about 3 hours from home) There is, of course, a gift shop with the usual bobbles and trinkets. Some are educational, some are for fashion (I'd never own a neon green t-shirt until I visit this place!), some are straight up souvenirs. It's all very reasonably priced. There's a feeling of "unfinished" at the Paducah Railroad Museum. Is it as polished as some larger railroad museums? No, it's not. It's a work in progress. In one room there is what I assume to be another model railroad being built and a few displays that aren't quite ready for Prime Time. And that is OK. You can tell that this museum is constantly growing and improving, and that it's being done by people who have a genuine love and passion for railroading. I hope to visit here again some time when I have more time.

Cool place to visit, downtown area is very walkable and there's a lot of shops and places to eat or get ice cream nearby. About two large rooms full of railroad items. My son loved it, we were the only ones there. Attendant was not over bearing. Make sure you walk over to the old train about a block or two over and see it as well.
Kristen F — Google review
Great museum! Lots of leftover items from the glory days of railroads in this area. Very cool locomotive simulator! They’re switching over their main layout from O to HO but can see that will be a fun feature when it’s finished.
Ralph G — Google review
I enjoyed reading all the history and the local impact of the railroad industry. There are several displays of railroad history. The simulator is worth checking out, especially for the children.

Small. A fair amount of items. Online search lead me to.think it was free, but it is not

It's ok. $6 fee, two rooms, little mix match of different things. Some models and simulators that are off and they claim to not have volunteers to run.

History Museums
Nestled just outside downtown Paducah, the Lloyd Tilghman House & Civil War Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into the past. This historic site, originally built in 1852 as a Greek Revival home for General Lloyd Tilghman—a Confederate general and railroad worker—now serves as a museum dedicated to the Civil War. Visitors can explore an extensive collection of military artifacts, including antique firearms and uniforms that tell stories from this tumultuous period in American history.
Unplanned visit to this museum turned out to be a fascinating visit. Interesting story about the Tilghman family and how the railroad came to Paducah. Definitely worth a visit!!

My kids really likes the museum and the people who run it were super sweet. They have very short hours so keep that in mind

Very interesting museum. Could have spent a few hours here. Very hands-on displays, with a few exceptions. There are very knowlehable curators who will answer your questions. Plan on spending at least an hour here. There is accessible♿ parking and entrance here but the second floor in not. Highly recommended!

Breakfast restaurant
Gold Rush Cafe is a charming, down-to-earth neighborhood spot offering homestyle American cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's described as a family-owned restaurant that brings warmth and comfort to its patrons. The menu features indulgent treats like SINammon Roll Pancakes alongside savory delights such as homemade scotch eggs and chicken and waffles. While there might be a wait for the food, the overall experience seems to be enjoyable with friendly service and satisfying meals.
Cute spot for breakfast or lunch with a great selection. I tried the hot chicken with hash brown casserole. They warn that it is "hot" but it is really just right. Don't be a baby and just try it. The food was wonderful and the service was exceptional. I guess school is out and we had 2 young girls waiting on us. Our cups were always full and they were very polite. I love seeing kids doing this rather than sitting on their phone or by the TV. Awesome experience. Don't miss this place if you are in the area.

We were passing through town and decided to have breakfast here. There was a wait ahead of us and the restaurant was full but we didn't have to wait that long at all, especially for there being only 2 servers who were also running food and bussing tables! Amber was super sweet and helpful with our questions about the menu. I got the bread pudding waffles and boy howdy they were divine! The biscuits and gravy and hash brown casserole were also tasty. I'm already planning on bringing people back with me for the waffles!

First time eating here, it was very good I cleaned my plate. I ordered "The Dalton" upgraded to the bread pudding mini waffles. It was delicious.

The breakfast and brunch menu is amazing. Of course it transferred to the food, coffee and service from the staff.

We almost decided to go somewhere else cause there was a wait and no hostess, then I saw the sign 'sign yourself in' and they were turning tables as fast as they could. The vibes are definitely 'moms kitchen' and it kind of feels like you are in a family home. Due to my husband's alpha gal food allergy and their menu, we almost thought there wasn't anything good for him to eat.. Behold their smoked Gouda chicken omelette!! I opted for the Calamity Jane and though the gravy wasn't what I'm used to, my taste buds were happy. Then there was our server who had some knowledge of my husband's allergy and even educated us a little about it! So glad we decided to hang around and wait for our table this morning!!
Virginia M — Google review
One of the few places near "downtown" that was open and serving breakfast. Food was overly salty, like almost uneditable. Server was unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I dared asked for a refill on my coffee. Other than our server who was unfortunately, unfriendly, the other staff seemed to be more engaging and offering coffee and drink refills to their tables.

Italian restaurant
Fine dining restaurant
Cynthia's Ristorante offers a Californian-influenced Italian dining experience with a focus on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. The restaurant is tucked away in the heart of historic Paducah and boasts a romantic atmosphere with exposed brick walls, terra cotta accents, stained glass, and ambient lighting that transports diners to Tuscany.
Beautiful, elegant interior, with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The service was great, and the food! The food was fantastic, the best I've had in Paducah. I had the filet, which was cooked perfectly, and my husband had the pork tenderloin, which he could not stop raving about! We went here for our 10 year anniversary and we're so glad we did, we look forward to coming back!

1st time at Cynthias and enjoyed every aspect of it. From the location, to the atmosphere, the service, presentation and food...just 10/10. Im a vegetarian and they made me an incredible suprise dish that was absolutely delicious!
Jamie S — Google review
We arrived with our reservations and was seated promptly. It took a little time for us to receive our salads, like we literally were able to drink a bottle of wine before we received the salads. The oysters were okay, not bad, not good....edible. The salads were good and the vinaigrette was delicious but again, short of spectacular. The wait staff is apparently overworked because although our waiter was personable, service was lacking. Now, for our meals there were 6 of us with 5 different entrees ordered. The highest anyone rated their food was a 7 out of 10. They were all hit and miss with some items being good and some being okay on the plate. Please do not come if you are very hungry and wanting a big meal as their meals are lacking in size but not price. At the end of the night we ordered one of each dessert. The desserts were good although the sugar on the creme brulee was burnt. The waiter offered to get another and I declined as my family had already ate half. It is hard for me to say anything negative about a local place being a local gal but having traveled the world and eating some amazing food, especially in Italy, I would be doing an injustice to give a good rating. If you want good ambiance and decent food this would be a good place to go. For the cost of our meals and the amount of food we ordered I expected better service so my tip reflected this. I would not go here again personally except to get a dessert and a glass of wine.

Cynthia's Ristorante is dining perfection with an exquisite menu and excellent service. We enjoyed anjou pear salad with walnuts & gorgonzola. A very unique grilled mozzarela "salad" with layers of buffalo mozzarella, heirloom tomato, greens & crostini. Halibut over basmati rice with grilled vegetables. Homemade fettuccine amatriciana with grilled jumbo shrimp. Flourless chocolate cake. Three layer chocolate mousse & praline tort. Wow! Five stars isn't enough. With so many amazing menu choices, we'll be back!

My favorite restaurant in Paducah & has been for 30+ years. Five of us dined there tonight to celebrate two of our birthdays. Two of us ordered stuffed chicken breast with spaghetti, & three ordered 4 oz fillet with garlic mashed potatoes & sauteed vegetables. We all ordered salads & their declious chocolate cake. Each one of the fillets were cooked exactly like we requested. Service was superb too. Photos are of Cynthia's salad & chocolate cake dessert. Forgot to photo entrees, was too busy eating them!

American restaurant
Located in a historic railroad depot, Freight House offers seasonal New American cuisine and local spirits. The restaurant is housed in a restored old freight building and is known for its modern Southern cuisine. Chef Sara Bradley, the nationally televised 2019 Bravo Top Chef runner-up, creates a fresh, seasonal menu using locally sourced Kentucky ingredients. The farm-to-table experience at Freight House ensures that dishes are made with the freshest regional products available each day.
Completely enchanting, once-in-a-lifetime experience tonight at Freight House! When we knew we'd be relocating and were planning our trip across the country, we had noticed that Sara Bradley, our favorite contestant from my favorite show, Top Chef, had a restaurant in Paducah, Kentucky and that if we gamed it just right, left at the right day and took the right path across the US etc, we might be able to stop at her restaurant on our way across the country. Our anniversary was last Saturday, Adelaide and I were SO excited to eat the food from her restaurant; I warned the girls that Sara most likely would not actually be there herself but that we would enjoy her restaurant. We were totally excited and starstruck when she was actually there, we were somehow seated at (what we felt was the) the best table in the place right next to the kitchen, and then she kept smiling at the girls all night long. Adelaide kept begging us to go over and ask to take a picture of her on the way out and she even created a little collage of her surreptitiously taking a picture of Sara walking past. 🤣😂😍🤦‍♀️☠️ As we were leaving, Sara walked directly up to us and told the girls how much she had been enjoying smiling with them tonight and invited the girls back into the kitchen where she prepared some plums and allowed them to tour the kitchen as well as gave them a taste of marshmallow fluff they had prepared . She talked to them so kindly and I got so choked up seeing how nicely she was treating the girls and couldn't even put my thanks into words! What a wonderful night and an unforgettable restaurant experience. We had so many different things from the menu; for me, the grilled ceasar, the pb+j ribs, and the burrata were standouts but we truly loved everything! This experience just reinforced every reason why I have always been completely inspired by her in @bravotopchef and @foodnetwork TOC, have so appreciated how she uses her platform for good to encourage women and especially mothers. My girls were so happy! My 9 year old asked me, "Do you think the news will want to do a story about us now that we met her and went in her kitchen?!" The kitchen was so calm, the staff so friendly, and it was perfect.

We had the Sticky Ribs, Pimento Cheese, and Stuffed Mushrooms as the appetizers. Wow!! Talk about flavor!! Def highly recommended! For the main: Steak with Potatoes/Greens and Shrimp & Grits. Both were really tasty! The only reason why this place didn’t get a full 5 Stars is because the Strawberry Lemonade Cake for dessert just didn’t quite hit the spot like the other dishes. It was dense and didn’t had a pleasant taste.
Steve M — Google review
We only had one night in Paducah, and we're so glad we spent it here. If we were staying longer, we'd come back every night. We made reservations for 5 pm, and got a table for 2 next to the wall. This meant the noise level was just right for us. Service was great. We shared a bourbon cocktail (Triple Crown?) that was amazing and very potent. We got the fresh pickles and smoked olives for starters. Both were full of flavor and something we've never tasted before. We also tried the cold melon soup, and the subtle flavors increased with each spoonful. My husband got the catfish and said it was the best he's ever had. I got the grilled pork tenderloin, and it was delicious and a generous portion. Dessert was the cobbler, and it was fruity and crunchy and served warm with ice cream. We finished the night with decaf coffee which was served in a French press. A very memorable meal!
Laura G — Google review
I have talked about coming to this restaurant literally for years, because I wanted to try Chef Sara Bradley’s cuisine. We drove 1 1/2 hours when we were visiting Tennessee to try this restaurant. For our anniversary, my husband purchased a tasting menu experience for us. When you walk in, for the tasting experience, you are literally right next to the hostess table, near the kitchen staff at a long high table with tall chairs, the kind that you have to jump up to sit down. If you’re overlooking the restaurant like I was, you can see more relaxing booth/bench seating towards the other side of the restaurant with better more relaxed lighting. They looked more comfortable than we were. I expected a higher level of service and ambience since the tasting menu was significantly more expensive than regular dining. At the tasting menu table you also sit directly next to other tasting menu diners who are receiving the same courses. If the other diners at the table started earlier, they will be a course or two ahead of you so the fun of being surprised or delighted by a new dish coming out is lost. You know what they’re bringing out and the waiter responsible for serving the table parrots the same script to you that you just heard 30 minutes ago. So, sitting at one long table is not ideal because you and your partner have no privacy. You’re hearing your neighbor’s conversation and they’re hearing yours. We were literally shoulder to shoulder. Bunching all the tasting menu diners together, needs to be redesigned and reconsidered. The food was good, but not great. I was expecting a lot more. The tasting menu had coconut throughout the entire meal, and notes of sweetness when it didn’t need to be there. The cauliflower dish was delicious, but the PB&J rib was greasy, overly sweet overcooked rib with cornflakes and peanut butter was not good. It made no sense being on the tasting menu. Very disappointing. The experience ended with a chocolate mayonnaise cake with no real flare other than Marshmallow fluff that had been torched. It felt as though the menu selections were based upon the ease of the staff being able to get food out to the diner versus showcasing some of the best things the restaurant had to offer. The waiter dedicated to the tasting menu table, should be replaced. He is not representing the restaurant very well. In between courses we waited about 15 -20 minutes after dishes were cleared for the next course which made for a long dining experience with 6 courses. The couple near us also commented how slow the service was. In addition, you’re hearing the exact same course description again and again. It felt very transactional and felt disingenuous. There was minimal to no personal interaction with the waiter, as it was a drop and pick up process. All of us were looking for a higher quality experience since we were there to celebrate a special occasion. I think building a mandatory tip into the tasting menu fee, results in the wait staff not being motivated to provide good service because they were getting a good tip regardless. Our waiter was often fluttering throughout the restaurant and too busy to check back on the table. For instance, we wanted to order unique bourbon from their amazing list. Our waiter never came back, so I had to flag someone else down to place our order. They screwed it up and we had to order again. We waited 30 minutes just to get one bourbon order. All in all, the ambience and the food was ok, again not great. The tasting menu choices toggled from being artfully prepared (Cauliflower dish) to being slop on a plate (PB&J rib). I expected higher quality service/food for what we paid for since it was a Top Chef Finalist and James Beard Award Nominee restauranteur. Fun evening with my husband, but overall disappointing.

We drove 6 hours to do Sara’s chef tasting. One of my bucket list items. Very reasonably priced. I also added the wine pairing, also a bargain. I was so worth the drive, effort, expense. The cauliflower course alone was worth it. I am a Chef and you can bet I will be spending some considerable effort to replicate that dish. Sara spends a considerable amount of time being accessible to her customers. Lovely to see a woman uncompromisingly crushing it in business, creativity and still making time for her family. We will be making the trip again. The downtown is lovely.

It’s been a “bucket list” wish to dine at Chef Sara Bradley’s Freight House Restaurant in Paducah (we kind of planned this trip around it). If you watch Food Network you’ve seen her on Chopped and Tournment of Champions. Tonight we thoroughly enjoyed the 6 course chef’s tasting with wine pairing. Absolutely incredible! Duffy was such a delight as a server. Can’t wait to go back!!

The food was delicious! We were overall really pleased with what we ordered and it was a great stop on our way down to Nashville! We ordered ninis pickles, peaches and cream salad, the melon cold soup, sticky ribs, cauliflower, corn bread, cheesy grits, sweet greens, for dessert we had summer fruit cobbler and peanut butter and chocolate chip ice cream. WOW. This was a great meal. My friend and I are major foodies so there were a few things we found amazing and others underwhelming (pickles—no lemon grass flavor), cauliflower was amazing but really just an app. Not equivalent to a meal since the mains with meat came with a starch too. Weird that vegetarian mains aren’t actually a main. But the cauliflower was so tasty. We loved the grits. The cornbread was also good not mind blowing though. Now the things that blew our mind was the melon soup and sticky ribs. Chef’s kiss! Truly perfect dishes. Layered, complex, balanced, unique! The cashew macha salsa on the ribs and the melon soup was full of goodies. Yum yum yum. The dessert was also soooo good! The stone fruit cobbler was really lemon zesty in the best way! Now our biggest surprise here was the atmosphere and service. We thought a lot of touches were missing for a restaurant of this caliber. First, the restaurant is in the weirdest location. If it was two blocks over in the adorable little down town the vibe would have been much better. We were seated on the patio which is facing a big parking lot. 1/10 on vibes. Second, not having paper menus at a place like this is a real pity. It kills the mood immediately. Third, they give you the bill by just placing it on your table. No clip board or card holder. Even low end restaurants have something to clip it to and put your card in. Very weird. Other than the location, these things can be improved. The location and atmosphere is a disappointment but I’d come back for the food no question asked!

My husband and I ventured out for a date night after he had finished radiation and chemotherapy for throat cancer. He still struggles somewhat with eating. Usually he has to drink Alot with his meal. Sometimes up to 6 glasses of tea or water to help him swallow properly. Our waitress was a gem. We explained to her and she brought a carafe of tea to our table for him. But everyone was so friendly and warm at this restaurant from the hostess , waitress and everyone else. We sat on the screened porch which invited you to come sit for a bit. All the plants at the entrance were gorgeous and created the overall atmosphere. And the food was the absolute best. We have not quit talking about our meal. My husband is not a vegetable eater but since his diagnosis and taste buds changing he took a bite of my eggplant parmesan. And then two more bites. This was all his doing without my prodding. He stated he would order this on our next visit. We live in Indiana but I definitely foresee road trips to Paducah quite often now in our future.

Doe's Eat Place is a laid-back American restaurant that offers mouth-watering steaks and homemade tamales in a relaxed setting. Located on the corner of Broadway and Markethouse Street, this Southern franchise from Greenville, MS is renowned for its large hand-cut steaks meant for two people. The restaurant boasts a great atmosphere with live music on weekends, making it an ideal spot for both romantic evenings and lively gatherings.
Passing through town and a friend told us about this amazing joint with so much history. Love the story behind it, it's locations and it's ovens! So welcoming in a great little downtown area! Bellied up to the bar where we were lucky enough to have Ashlie take care of us. She was awesome! The owner swung by to chat it up- super cool dude! Started out with a beer and a Does Dirty Martini- yum! You must try their famous tamales for an appetizer, but Do t forget the chili- fantastic! This place is known for their steak and you can't go wrong. We didn't have a big enough appetite, but I hear the only thing we really missed out on was that the shrimp was also a must try, and I can only imagine. The bourbon selection looked fantastic and the carrot cake that we got to go was to die for. We will stop in here every time we come through town for sure!

This was the best Sirloin I've eaten outside of Texas. The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent, and the bourbon selection is top notch. Highly recommended!

Our server Camery was on top of it, she knew right time to check on our group and had a great attitude. The Tamales for appetizers were out of this world. My Mahi Mahi dish was delicious with good portion, my only negative with this great meal the steamed vegetables, those came from frozen bag & where soggy, really don't belong with dish, need to have fresh steamed vegetables. Overall great visit.

Food was good, my steak ended up being a little overcooked but it was still a delicious ribeye! Steamed veggies went well with it. Overall good place and would go there again.

We went here for our 50th Anniversary because we had heard how good it was. The food was awesome but very expensive. Server was great, brought us a free desert for our Anniversary. We had the filets and they were delicious, melt in your mouth!! The only thing I found lacking was the atmosphere! So much could be done with this cute little place. We were there on a Sunday evening and the floors were dirty, the windows filthy. Looked like it hadn't been given a good cleaning in years. For the prices you could clean it up and dress it up.

I ate here on the recommendation of the bartender at my hotel. She spoke highly of this restaurant, so I had high expectations. The place was poppin', and for the most part, everyone was nice. The server and one of the hosts were especially kind. I ordered the 2lb T-bone. Unfortunately, it was overcooked and a bit dry. I let them know, and the server brought over the manager. However, it felt like she didn’t really care—she made me feel bad for saying the food wasn’t to my satisfaction. She did offer to make another 2lb steak, but I didn’t want to waste food. Then came a free dessert, which just didn’t feel genuine. My goal wasn’t to get something for free—I just wanted to feel heard. I made sure the server knew he did an excellent job, and that his performance isn’t dictated by the kitchen or the manager. Doe’s is probably great 9 times out of 10, and I would come here again if I were in Paducah.

Group of 6 went on Sunday mid afternoon and there were only 5 tables with people being served. We ordered simple (salads, sandwich and fries, and tamales). It took 45 minutes to get our food, after we confirmed that our order was sent to the kitchen. The server started out good and when the food was taking so long he seemed to be hiding from us. The tamales were not good and they were dry, if you order them make sure to get the chili to make them easier to eat. The salads, sandwich and the home-made fries were great!

Great location on Broadway Sat outside, and people watched as the zombie bar crawl was in full force. Our server was excellent and very attentive and informative. The wife and I both had a bowl of gumbo and some shrimp appetizers. All I can say is they were just. No wow factor. I had a dirty martini. Didn't care for it, and I have had many. Dont let my lack of enthusiasm deter you and yours from giving it a try. We don't eat out very often. It's hard to beat home cooking.

Paducah Beer Werks is a laid-back brewery that provides an ideal setting for groups of friends to relax, savor exceptional craft beers, and indulge in delectable pub dishes. The menu features familiar comfort-food flavors such as the Keg Size Beer Battered Onion Rings and Stuffed Mushrooms, while the Black & Bleu Burger with Pepperoni Chips is a tempting option for those with a hearty appetite.
Loved it! Great food and service! I had the blackened chicken BLT which was delicious! Wonderful flavor combo, and delicious lightly seasoned fries. My friend had the limited tine only K-pop-eroni pizza. Which was amazing!! Salty and spicy and a dash of underlying sweetness. We stopped by on a Fridat and were there about 10 minutes before they open at noon. But they were kind enough to let us be seated anyway. Our waiter was fantastic!! We had parked about two blocks away as we were going to the Quilt Museum next. Very easy walk to the quilt museum, more like one block than two.

Beer. ✅ Food. ✅ Atmosphere. ✅ Brewpub in a restored bus depot. Great beer variety- not just IPAs. Had the Mexican Lager. Nice. The Paducah Hot Chicken sandwich and Parmesan fries. Service was great. Would come back!

What a fun place to enjoy great pizza and local brews after touring the National Quilt Museum. Highly recommend the Figgy Stardust pizza and Italian salad. Loved the fried pepperoni (first time ever seeing this on a menu). Great beers too! Our server was amazing. A great dinner after a long day of driving and doing a quick tour of the town. The reuse of an old Greyhound Bus station was brilliant!

This is our 2nd time visiting this brewery. It's an old Greyhound Bus Station with a lot of the original decor. Even the floor is original. It's like stepping back in time. The beer was very good and we decided to have a pizza that was icing on the cake. You can't go wrong stopping here.

This was our second time dining and drinking at Paducah Beer Werks on an overnight motorcycle trip. While my brother opted for the figgy burger, I chose the chicken pesto sandwich. We both were very happy with our selections. The fries were killer. Oh yeah....the beer is pretty good too!

Great little brewery/restaurant in old Paducah. Converted Greyhound bus station had lots of charm and old school atmosphere. Great selection of spirits and food. Super staff.

Went there a few days ago while visiting Paducah. The atmosphere is good with low noise level. It is located in a former bus terminal so has some nostalgic decor. The service was good. Got the PBW pizza and it was very good as well as PBW hotdog combo. Ordered Brewer’s fries with the herbed Parmesan for an appetizer. Fries were good. Hotdogs were filling. Had onion rings as a side and it was very good, well breaded and not greasy. Noted that with each bite of the onion ring came with a easily bitten piece of onion as opposed to some other places where the whole piece of onion seems to want to come out with a single bite, if you know what I mean. One of our group got the red ale and said it was good. Overall a good experience and would recommend.

Loved being able to set outside to eat. We had a great waiter and he was helpful with helping us pick what to eat. Excellent food, served hot and fresh. Will eat here again if we ever are in the area again. Thanks for a great eating experience.
