Performing arts theater
Concerts & Shows
Theaters
Metropolis Performing Arts Centre is a spacious facility that houses a large theater suitable for a wide range of performances, alongside classrooms and music studios. It guarantees an enjoyable experience for all attendees, as every seat in the theater offers excellent views and the added benefit of free parking in the accompanying garage. While some shows may have had minor sound balancing issues, particularly with the band overpowering the voices due to lower microphone levels, there were also instances where female performers showcased their powerful vocal abilities.
The musical was great. The actors were perfect for their roles. It was a perfect Mother's Day Gift

We saw Grease on the opening day and it was magical! Just an amazing show filled with wonderful acting, singing and oh oh the dancing! I was blown away by the talent and I want to thank them for putting a song in my heart and a skip in my step and taking me out to get absorbed into an amazing story! Loved it ❤️
Carolyn D — Google review
Visited to see “The Christmas Carol” opening night and I loved every second of it! The lightning, the sound, the intimacy of the crowd… this theatre is one of the good ones! Parking was free for the show (not sure if it’s always like this), around a nice amount of food places in case you want to eat before or after the show, and they even have their own mini bar to get wine or beer during the show (I tried their red wine and it was nice for someone who doesn’t really drink wine!)

Grease cast was fantastic! we ate dinner next door at Mago and walked to the show. Bought a refreshment and headed in. Cozy seating intimate theater. So nice !!

I have been on hundreds of shows, but today actors played like never. Thank you for outstanding performence and art of play. Deeply enjoyed!
Dennis K — Google review
I've seen a couple of stage plays at this theater located in Arlington Heights, IL. Friendly service. However, I was ticketed $25 while I was parked in the parking garage, behind the theater for taking up multiple parks..??🤦‍♀ I unknowingly parked over my "parking space line by a smidgen!" So, be on alert if you park there.🙄
Nickcole B — Google review
We hadn't been to this theater in a long while and pleased to see how new and updated it was. Perfect venue with no 'bad' seats. Located in the heart of the downtown restaurant district can make for a great night out.

Cozy and quaint. Have gone to couple shows there so far and really had a great time. Looking forward to the next few that we have purchased tickets.

Park
Nature & Parks
Lake Arlington is a picturesque destination for outdoor activities such as walking, running, biking, and rollerblading. It caters to people of all ages and offers opportunities for fishing (with catch-and-release) and sailing. During the summer months, it can get crowded with people enjoying the park and geese feeding on the lawn. The lake also serves as a practice spot for rowing teams.
Beautiful! The path around has 2 lanes, one walking and one biking. No dogs allowed seems harsh, but I see rabbits and smaller birds regularly. Never seen geese more calm when I walked by in my life. No dogs allowed, which I appreciate, And I love pups! There are benches spaced well along the path to take a moment and take in the view. The front is right off of a main street but so far has never been very noisy. Such a gem to me!
Amanda ( — Google review
Calm, serene and beautiful. Good for family with playground, fitness area, sensory garden. You can spot a variety of birds if you love bird watching and do fishing as well. It also has a 2 mile walk and cycling path around the lake.

Love this place. First time there today. Very nice walking trail, beautiful scenery, they even have a small workout spot which I found very unique as I havent seen that anywhere before. There are multiple things you can rent to go on the water which is awesome. No swimming is permitted though. They do have a park for the little ones as well as a concession center for your refreshments. Will definitely be back.
Tara M — Google review
Had a visit after a while and absolutely loved it. The walking trail is peaceful with beautiful views all around. There’s even a small outdoor workout area, which I thought was such a cool touch I haven’t seen that at other parks. You can rent different kinds of gear to go out on the water, which adds to the fun, though swimming isn’t allowed. There’s also a nice playground for kids and a concession stand for snacks and drinks.
Frank A — Google review
We often enjoy walking around the lake. It is beautiful and peaceful.

Beautiful place to go with family or friends. I rented a Kayak and I just had a great experience down there. Nice spot for picnics.
Leticia B — Google review
Love the 2 mile track and the availability of washrooms. It's well kept and the water gives it a tranquil vibe. There's a walking/running lane and a separate bike lane. There's a playground for the kiddos as well. It's beautiful during the fall as the many changing leaves occur. I just wish there were solar lights of some kind for the evening walks as one side gets very dark. It's not so bad on the side where the houses are. Love seeing people go on walks during the late afternoon into early evenings.
Present F — Google review
This is an amazing community resource! Beautiful 2 mile waking/biking path around the lake. Lots of birds, ducks and turtles. Great fishing spots on the shore or at the dock. Reasonably priced paddle boat rentals. The Boat House is open 10am to 6pm and has concessions and bathrooms too. Fantastic new playground with something for all ages. Adult workout equipment too. Opened August 2018.

Racecourse
Casinos & Gambling
Arlington International Racecourse, a historic thoroughbred horse-racing track established in 1927, is known for its iconic 6-story grandstand and picturesque gardens. While there are concerns about its future beyond summer 2021, visitors are encouraged to seize the opportunity to experience this legendary venue. Beyond the thrill of horse racing and betting, Arlington offers a range of experiences including private events with beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food.
Wonderful venue. Well laid out and plenty of room. Some areas still closed, but betting machines were well spaced and convenient. Beautiful grounds and track. Different areas allow for different experiences from tailgating style experience to elegant dining. Family friendly and fun for everyone.
Ruben G — Google review
An awesome spot to watch horse racing and to bet on the results. However, it is much more than that. We attended a private event. The rooms are beautiful. The staff is professional and friendly. The food was delicious. The grounds are breathtaking. It is a relaxing and comfortable experience wherever you are seated to watch the races. Of course, it is also exciting if you have some skin in the game!

Last season: Very sorry to see this beautiful track being closed after this year but, the owners let the community, employees and racing fans down. This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon watching thoroughbred racing. It will definitely be missed....
Peter T — Google review
A day at the races, what can I say. We were invited by owners to come and experience the normal routine of the backside - even more facinating. Spectacular fall weather, the beautiful coiffed grounds of Arlington, the anticipation of a good race or in our case - a great daily workout, observed with great friends. It doesn't get much better.
Melinda R — Google review
A great place for everyone. It is kid friendly, safe and above all immaculate. All the latest in race track set uo, with betting in everyway you can imagine. In additio. It has track feeds fro. Around the country. The low end food is barely passabe, but it improves from there. Go to the restuarant if you want a r es al meal

Went to a racecourse for the first time and it was a fun experience. On Sunday they had activities for kids like a petting zoo and pony ride for free. You can get your own food. The entrance ticket is $10 per person.

Drinks are pricey, but you can bring in your own cooler & food for the afternoon. We'll definitely do that next time...had a fun day! 😊
Kelly W — Google review
A beautiful track set in the northern suburbs with so much green and energy to make any visit sublime if you love horses or excitment. Breakfast at Arlington is also great way to enjoy the park and see how the thoroughbreds go thru their morning paces. Held every first Sunday in summer, it's a great outing for the day.

Historical landmark
Nestled just north of the train station, the Arlington Heights Historical Museum is a delightful destination for anyone interested in local history. This charming museum showcases an impressive array of vintage and replica homes, along with fascinating exhibits that tell the story of early settlers and the transformative impact of the railroad on this vibrant community. Visitors can explore historic buildings like the restored 1906 train station and even witness a working blacksmith shop, offering a unique glimpse into daily life from yesteryears.
Love this place! I’m 33 now but have vivid memories from a field trip to there when I was around 9 y/o. Such a gem of Arlington Heights and super interesting for anyone that loves history like me! Love the log cabin 🪵

The park district employees are very rude and unprofessional. Multiple times I’ve made appointments to visit the library they have on campus. They never show up at the arranged times and don’t answer the phone or respond to emails.

This is a small single-family house that sells local brand drinks, as well as some pictures and leaflets introducing local history. No ticket, for free.
Lily L — Google review
Great display about a historic soda factory that many still remember. Two houses very well done, a Victorian era Italianate style house and an arts and crafts style house, both with their own interesting stories. Arlington Heights should be proud of the organizations, staff and volunteers who do all this great work!
Philip M — Google review
Great historical museum with several original buildings to tour, including a log cabin, a 19th century home, and a Frank Lloyd Wright period home. Also, site of an old soda pop factory and gift shop sells cute vintage-style bottles of pop in lots of flavors. Makes a fun, local gift!

This visit wasn't specifically for the visitation of the Historical Society for "Historical" reasons. The visit was for a different "meeting" involving a "group" who'd rented the building's space for the "group" of people. I don't know anything about "tickets" nor "prices" for visiting the "Historical Society" building for "historical" reasons; for what reason I don't mention "tickets" and/or "ticket cost" below.

Class muse. I was in many of the most famous in Europe and I think that it is in no way inferior to them. The atmosphere, arrangement, the multitude of top-class works - a great impression. Beautiful building, relatively modest prices. I recommend.

Japanese grocery store
Asian grocery store
Mitsuwa Marketplace is a vibrant haven for anyone craving authentic Japanese culture and cuisine, located in the heart of the Midwest. This expansive supermarket chain offers an impressive selection of Japanese groceries, from fresh produce to pantry staples, alongside unique items like cosmetics and housewares. However, the true gem lies within its bustling food court.
I love Mitsuwa Japanese Marketplace. Genuine Japanese cuisine in the food court with matcha, ramen, udon, poke, sushi, and classic Japanese red bean desserts. The poke in the grocery section is so fresh and great quality, I highly recommend as a very frequent poke and sushi eater. Mitsuwa also has a store with Japanese classic toys and collectibles that kids love to find classic brands. Love what this place has to offer!

Went for the first time and was way better than I expected! They have a lot of Japanese products and some freshly made in house. The bakery have some of the most delicious bread and they carefully pack it for you. The restaurant area have a great variety of Japanese dishes to choose from, I got the Katsudon or pork cutlet bowl and it was delicious 😋 If you love Japanese food, I definitely recommend to check out this place.

I recently visited this Japanese market and had such a great experience! The place is clean, well-organized, and full of authentic Japanese products that you can’t easily find elsewhere. From fresh seafood and premium cuts of meat to imported snacks, ramen, sauces, and seasonal ingredients, everything looked high-quality and carefully selected. The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful when I needed recommendations. The atmosphere also feels very cozy—almost like stepping into a small market in Japan. There’s also a small food corner where you can grab ready-to-eat meals, sushi, bentos, and desserts. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, this market is perfect for anyone who loves Japanese food or wants to explore new ingredients. The prices are reasonable for imported goods, and the variety is excellent. I’ll definitely come back again! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This place is amazing. As an Asian grocer's they have a huge selection. What really stands out and draws me in is the food court and bookstore. Possibly the best selection of foods in any one location other than Chinatown. Also gochapon!!!

This place will bring me back to Chicagoland over and over DREAMING about being a local. Next time I know to be in line at 10:30a on Sunday for the Udon shop. The fish in their deli packed sushi is the freshest thing in all of my hometown. 100/10

upermarket. The selection is impressive—everything from authentic sauces, ramen, and snacks to fresh vegetables and beautifully cut seafood. Their sushi bar offers consistently fresh and delicious options, and the bakery items are a treat. The store is exceptionally clean, and the layout makes it easy to navigate without feeling crowded. Staff members are always friendly, welcoming, and willing to help you find exactly what you need. The prices are fair for the quality, and there are many unique items you won’t find in regular grocery stores. If you enjoy Japanese cuisine or just appreciate high-quality food and great service, this supermarket is definitely worth visiting. It opens at 9am daily !

Amazing food choices, great ramen, fresh noodles, sushi, meats....you name it, it's there! Food court is awesome, grocery area is clean & stocked, unique Asian foods, snacks & drinks galore! And you gotta stop by the bookstore, we love this place
Jennifer M — Google review
Visiting family from way out of the area. They’ve been here many times. Day after Thanksgiving and the place was utterly packed. I quite appreciated the food court and bakery. The attached bookstore is perfect for those manga/anime lovers (not me), and the 11 year old niece was grimacing at the female anime figurines in the corner “with the big ones”. Hard to explain why they were pretty out there, but this market caters to a wide range of tastes…

Italian restaurant
Francesca's Tavola is a delightful gem nestled in Arlington Heights, where the essence of Italian cuisine comes alive. This upscale yet relaxed eatery invites you to indulge in a menu inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Rome, Tuscany, Umbria, and Lazio. From hearty pasta dishes to fresh salads and succulent seafood options like pan-seared Alaskan halibut and roasted salmon, every bite transports you straight to the Italian countryside.
We have been to Francisca's many times and always enjoy their food, the environment, and the staff. Today I had the pasta with Vodka Sauce & it was so good. My boyfriend had the Bolignase spaghetti & he enjoyed it. The portion sizes are very good. The bread is incredible (warm, crispy outside, and soft inside). There were possible storms, so ate inside, but the outdoor garden is gorgeous! Plenty of free parking, and they also offer free valet.

Found this Italian restaurant in Arlington Heights. There is a casual modern sports bar dinning on one side but we choose the side with the warm classic dinning room. They were out of the wine we wanted but everything else was amazing. Everything was delicious. If you are in area and looking for Italian I highly recommend Francesca's.

Our server Julio was very professional. friendly, and had perfect timing. Our glasses were never empty, and he didn’t rush us to order or eat. Vincent, the manager was very personable and made our anniversary very special. Definitely recommend the house made limoncello! 10/10 recommendation this restaurant for the food, service, and atmosphere! We will be back!

A true hidden gem. We have been looking for a good italian restaurant for a while and this was the perfect experience for us. Everything we ordered was so delicious and worth the price. Our new favorite restaurant in the list. We will be back again. We’ve tried their Rigatoni Alla Vodka Pasta, Bruchette, Chicken Parm Sandwich, and for our kid we ordered crispy mac and cheese which came out with a complimentary gelato. Highly recommend this place. Also if you’re visiting during weeekday lunch time, they have half sandwich and half soup/salad specials.

10/10 absolutely recommend! The staff/servers were absolutely amazing, really friendly. The food was so fresh, SO tasty. Ambiance was nice & cozy. It was our wedding anniversary & they let us have dessert on them which was so thoughtful. Would definitely come back!

We held our annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon at Francesca's Tavola this year. From the moment we walked in and were greeted by Vincent and Kenny, it was a wonderful experience. They quickly helped me set up an HDMI connection for our presentation and even offered us a microphone if we needed it. We were a party of 18 and sat in the bar area, which felt private and cozy. When one of our guests could not get up on the high top seats in this area, they immediately brought us a lower lever table and chairs for two. Our guests dined on two appetizers, their choice of four entrees and beverages and a tasty dessert. Every member of the staff was quick with drink refills, special requests, and packing leftovers for anyone wanting take-home food. All out guests left feeling well-fed, appreciated and comfortable. We could not have had a better experience! A special "Thank You" to Vincent, Kenny, their team and the awesome cooks! Try it out. We believe you'll love it. Steak house
Nestled in front of the Arlington Plaza shopping center, Palm Court Restaurant is a distinguished establishment that has been captivating diners since 1979. This traditional American steakhouse and seafood haven boasts an inviting atmosphere with its vintage decor, featuring lime green leather booths and striking marble columns. The restaurant's charm is further enhanced by its lively piano lounge, where guests can unwind to soothing live music from Monday through Saturday.
This is a "swanky" restaurant, themed after the night club singers of previous generations: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. Nicely decorated in 1980's style with leather booths. This motif appeals primarily to older people (50+). Service was very good and the food is reasonably priced. After dinner, we sat at the nicely-appointed bar/lounge and listened to jazz. This was entertaining.

We just left Palm Court restaurant in Arlington Heights. Had dinner with friends I had the chicken Marsala with a mushroom wine sauce on top of mashed potatoes. I thought it was delicious, portion was a little small. they topped it on mashed potatoes, It was half of a half of a chicken breast, but nevertheless it was very tasty. My husband had the coconut lime cod on top of rice, he said it was okay but wouldn’t order it again. One of our guests had the prime rib and said it was outstanding. We had some great cocktails and awesome desserts we ordered the chocolate cake and the brandy Ice it could’ve easily served 4 to 6 people. Our server Will was outstanding. He made some great suggestions on cocktails and also on the menu very attentive. For four people our check was $350 including cocktails. Bottom line, would we go back again? most definitely!
Terri C — Google review
I'm not sure it's fair to judge the entire service based on just one dish, especially since this was a complimentary dinner hosted by a financial company during a seminar, but I do feel it's fair to provide honest feedback. Unfortunately, the steak my husband had was one of the worst he's ever experienced. It wasn’t tender or juicy, and the accompanying potatoes and peas were also dry and not to our taste. My salmon, on the other hand, was decent. Given the restaurant’s long-standing reputation, we expected a better overall experience.
Muxiang P — Google review
Great food, ambiance and service. My husband ordered the lamb and thought it included a little too much rosemary, however, it was incredibly tender and the server offered to replace it without the sauce. So great customer service and attentiveness. I ordered scallops and they were delicious. I requested the lemon Beurre blanc sauce to be placed on the side and to my surprise, the lemon was subtle and complimented the scallops. But it's great that the scallops weren't enveloped in the sauce and didn't need it. Very positive dining experience!!

We celebrated our 25 anniversary in this fin r dinning restaurant. Waitress Brianna is amazing and the management are understanding and accommodating. The food is good, the atmosphere is decent, and the prices are acceptable. I am giving this place 5 stars because of the way the manager handled a little menu related issue we faced. Full was very professional and accommodating. I’ll be back again for sure
Mehdi A — Google review
Update to response. I misspoke when I used the term “twice baked. I included a screenshot of the “loaded” potato description. My potato did not have any of the items listed. Also, I the steak was cooked so hot and quick that it was VERY rare inside so I placed both cut sides down on the hot plate to continue to cooking. The butter probably would taste good had it not been burned and bitter. We decided to use our gift card on an early dinner which meant the place was quiet. Our server showed us to a booth overlooking the patio. First up, a summer old fashioned. A delightful blend of bourbon and peach-perfect blend of intense bourbon but summery peach flavors. The house salad and dressing was fresh with great pieces of lettuce using more than the ribs of romaine so that was a huge plus. The creamy Dijon dressing was some of the best I’ve had. Unfortunately, my steak was burned on the outside but really rare on the inside. I was able to cut it in half and salvage it but the Blackhawk butter was burned. The twice baked potato was okay but not exactly how it was described on the menu. It needed the bacon and some seasoning. Our server was very sweet and attentive making the visit very enjoyable.

Irish restaurant
Peggy Kinnane's Irish Restaurant & Pub is a charming taproom that offers a genuine Irish experience. The pub features traditional Irish small plates and comfort-food classics, along with live music to create an authentic atmosphere. Owned by Derek Hanley, the restaurant has been serving delightful Irish cuisine for over a decade. What sets this place apart is its unique structure, as almost every part of it was brought directly from Ireland, including stone from County Clare and various bric-a-brac.
Lots of families coming in for lunch. We arrived just after they opened and everything looked and smelled clean. I got the lamb stew which was OK. Hubby got meatloaf with Jameson sauce and that was FANTASTIC. Server was very friendly and accommodating. Loved the atmosphere and how everything was decorated. Definitely recommend.

A good Irish pub and restaurant! Walk up to the bar. It’s amazing and Guinness takes great! Staff are friendly and attentive to you needs. The food is a 4. It’s basic but good, something you can count on. At time they put too much batter on the fish and chips. The pretzel app is good. The salad was fresh and crisp. The BLT was packed with bacon. Always a good stop. Huge bar. I ordered a half and half, but it wasn’t poured correctly. The outdoor seating area is huge and nice change of pack. @food_from_the_usa

Placed a pickup order during happy hour, asked if they would apply the 25% off happy hour special for the pickup and they said yes. They were busy so I called back, and asked again, and they said yes it will apply. While picking up the order I asked if the discount could be applied and mentioned that the employee over the phone said yes. The manager came out and was really rude and said "you talked to me on the phone, I didn't say that". Okay I guess there was a misunderstanding but I called twice to make sure and he kept saying "I did not say that". I said I'd be happy to pay the full price but that was definitely said over the phone but he was pretty rude for no real reason. The food was great! But one of the sauces had a melted lid and got all over the inside of the box.

Fun restaurant, helpful staff. Of the 3 dinners we ordered, the Irish breakfast was not really fresh. Delicious pretzel and beer cheese dip.
Traci L — Google review
This Irish pub is one of the better ones in the Chicagoland area. A very large restaurant with plenty of seating, so there won’t be any issue finding a table during a busy game day. Our waiter was fantastic, and very accommodating. The food was solid and did the job. The beer pours were well done as well.
Alan S — Google review
Another time here and from one of my favorite places it’s starts downgrading. I understand that tariffs suck but to keep high prices (as it never was average price) and yet taking off the amount of meat in dishes (especially shepherds pie) and loading it with more potatoes is very disappointing. Guiness is still poured perfectly and that lifts up the rating but I’m unfortunately not going to be visiting much again if it is not improved. Also very disappointing how much dishes were kept on tables without taking them away and the outdoor tables are really too small for a group of 4. Well, Quite a few Irish places around the area to yet check out.

bar food and a really nice outdoor seating area make this spot a great hangout. The craft beer selection was impressive, and we loved the option for grilled fish on the menu. The interior does feel a bit dingy, but overall it’s a solid place to relax and enjoy a casual meal. 4/5!

Ive been coming here for years, even before the new owners/management. Recently the orders are always missing something when you get it to go. Ive had missing fries and tarter sauce with orders one too many times. Quantity seems to have gone down too. The nachos were the best but now they taste cheaper and less love in pulled pork. Sad this place was really good but seems like its cutting corners in places under the new management.

Korean restaurant
Restaurant
Ttowa Korean Bistro is a modern eatery that beautifully blends stylish decor with the rich flavors of traditional Korean cuisine. Since its establishment in 2011, this bistro has become a beloved spot for locals seeking delicious and healthy meals. The menu features an array of mouthwatering dishes, from savory bulgogi to spicy fried chicken and comforting tofu stew, ensuring there's something for everyone. Guests can also enjoy unique beverages like traditional Korean beer or flavored alcohol to complement their meal.
I believe this is a family owned restaurant. Our server was warm and friendly. He made some great suggestions and was attentive. You need to try their tteokbokki - it's crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. We ended up ordering a second serving to go, it was that delicious. You're served as much rice, tea, and side dishes as you'd like. Definitely plan on returning.
Dany C — Google review
Calling it a Korean Restaurant is a joke. Nothing tasted remotely Korean. Even the free cucumber side dish tasted extremely sweet, so is the rice cake. Kimchi pancake is tasteless. Hot stone bowl bibimbap is cooked in a skillet and then moved into the stone bowl to deceive customers. And all the ingredients were already mixed unlike the authentic dish. Everything was so bad that we had to ask for to go box to pack everything because we could bear it. A total insult to Korean cuisine.

Great little spot. We got there super early and were the only people there. The dakkalbi was amazing. It had a really nice char and overall just one of the best bites I've had in a while. We also got black bean noodles. The lady that worked there noticed we hadn't mixed them and came over and helped us. She was very sweet. Delicious ban chan. Would drive an hour to eat here again.

Probably my favorite pound-for-pound takeout spot in Arlington Heights. The food is terrific everytime. Richard and Terry run a smooth operation in the front of the house. Great for a fun, outdoor weeknight dinner as well. It’s BYOB but they got a low-key solid wine list.

Mexican restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Arlington Heights, Salsa 17 is a modern and upscale Mexican restaurant that truly stands out. This colorful hacienda is adorned with art, creating an inviting atmosphere perfect for enjoying gourmet dishes. Known for its diverse menu featuring everything from tantalizing enchiladas to crispy quesadillas, Salsa 17 also boasts a delightful selection of margaritas that perfectly complement your meal.
This is one of the premier restaurants in downtown Arlington heights. Great atmosphere and food. The serving portions are huge and I've never had a bad meal here. Love the fajitas and their various moles. They always have unique cocktails and specials going on. Plus you got to love the guacamole cart that makes the guac fresh at your table. If you are in the Arlington heights area this restaurant should be on your list of places to go to.

My friend recommended this place after his recent visit and first great impression, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant looks fantastic—the interior has a unique, authentic vibe. We wanted to sit outside, and although it was crowded, we found a spot in the alley, which turned out just fine. Service was excellent and fast. Our server, Omar, was clearly experienced and did an outstanding job. While waiting for our meals, we were served chips with a spicy salsa. Since my toddler couldn’t eat anything spicy, we ordered guacamole instead—and I was pleasantly surprised to see it made fresh right at our table. Honestly, it was the best guacamole I’ve ever had! As for the food, everything was delicious. I ordered the Margarita La Pasión, which was rich in flavor, along with enchiladas (three in a portion, each filled with a different meat). My son chose tacos from the kids’ menu with a side of rice. Everything was freshly prepared and full of taste. The prices are on the higher side, but absolutely worth it. I highly recommend this place—especially considering that I’m usually not a big fan of Mexican cuisine, and yet this restaurant left me truly impressed.

This place was so fun! The music was great, the food was amazing, and the drinks were made perfectly. I visited Salsa 17 during a very busy Saturday night and we still had really fantastic service. We did not have to wait in a long line. When we were seated we got chips and salsa right away. Their menu had some really good deals too. I got a big platter of tacos to share. I would visit this restaurant again in a heartbeat.

Not sure if it's like this all the time but I loved the outdoor seating area. Our waiter was a joy, and the food itself was phenomenal. My husband ordered a quesadilla and I ordered the nachos. My nachos were HUGE, did not recognize it was such a large plate but I loved it. The flavors of the food is a must try spot for Mexican, the cheese on the nachos was amazing. My husband took some leftovers of the quesadilla and I had plans to take them home on the plane with us but we forgot it in the hotel fridge. I was so upset and continued to think of my missed quesadilla all the next day, this place is that delicious 😋

First time. Service was good. Food was amazing. Portions were huge. We sat outside on a beautiful day. Only recommendation don’t sit under the tree when it is windy as stuff will blow off tree into your food/drinks.

Salsa 17 is a fantastic spot in Arlington Heights! Their salsa is truly unique, flavorful, and award-winning—it’s unlike anything you’ll find elsewhere and sets the tone for the whole meal. The food is always excellent, but what really makes the experience stand out is the ambiance. I will say I wish they had sweeter cocktails because I am not a salty or super spicy person, but it's not a huge deal. Dining outside is especially enjoyable and exciting—the energy, atmosphere, and service make it a place you want to come back to again and again. Salsa 17 never disappoints! Definitely try the guacamole and salsa!!!
