West Virginia Penitentiary, a 19th-century Gothic prison located in Moundsville, offers guided tours, overnight paranormal visits, events, and a gift shop. The site also features an Adena mound built over two thousand years ago during the Woodland period. This Pre-Columbian Native American mound is one of the few remaining mounds available for public viewing in West Virginia.
We were running late for our tour time, but called and spoke with receptionist and they are fabulous! Great tour guide! Very informative and explanation of the history. No joke its very hot during the summer, bring your water bottle!!

My sister and I did the overnight paranormal tour for our birthday and it was AWESOME! This place is amazing and honestly it's the first place we've investigated where I was actually terrified in one part. We loved the 90 minute tour before we went out investigating. Jalynn was a great tour guide. Highly recommend this place just for the history itself.

Visited on a very hot and muggy Saturday in August and it was certainly an experience I’ll never forget. Elijah was my tour guide and he was great! His perspective as a Moundsville local enhanced the experience, and I would recommend this tour for anyone in the area! I can’t wait to come back and experience the haunted house one day, as this place has such a unique vibe to it.
Anthony — Google review
Very cool tour! Our tour guide Tiffany was very nice, professional and full of information that she was happy to share. She gave us time to take photos and videos if we wanted to, gave us time to actually browse around and look at different stuff along the tour. We did not feel rushed at all and had a great time. Thank you for offering this

On my way back home to Ohio, I stopped in to visit the West Virginia Penitentiary. I did one of their day tours and was not disappointed. The tour guides are so knowledgeable and the history is just fascinating. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I would love to come back and do it a night tour or a paranormal tour. If you have a couple of hours to spare, I would highly recommend checking it out.

Went with a group of friends for their haunted Halloween event. It was spectacular! I’d love to tour the building one day. What a fortress! That stone work was impressive from the outside!

We took the guided tour at West Virginia Penitentiary. Our tour guide, Jalynn, was great! She was very knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. The tour covered a lot of cool spots in and outside of the prison. We will definitely be back again!

my 4th time coming here, i go to haunted houses a lot but this one has to be my favorite! I always do the dungeon because it's genuinely so fun, the visuals and props are so creative and the actors are so good at what they do. They never fail to scare my friends and family and its so funny. it was so great being here and I look forward to my next visit!🤎

Historical place
Sights & Landmarks
Grave Creek Mound Historical Site, located in Moundsville, is a 2,000-year-old burial mound built by the Adena Culture. The site also features an interpretive museum with artifacts and exhibits focused on the life of the Adena People. This historical complex offers visitors an educational experience with displays and artifacts at the visitor center. Additionally, visitors can walk to the top of the mound for a unique perspective.
This prehistoric burial mound, one of the largest of its kind, stands as a testament to the ingenuity and culture of the Adena people. The site includes a well-curated museum that’s free to visit, housing intriguing exhibits about the history of the mound, local businesses, and archaeological artifacts. There's also information about Marble King exhibit and the area's local glass artistry.
Stacey P — Google review
We went with family to the site to see the museum and the mound. All of the information that we saw in the museum was quite interesting to find out about the Adena civilization. The Adena Mound and Grave Creek Mound Archaeological Complex in Moundsville, West Virginia, offer a fascinating and deeply meaningful glimpse into ancient Native American history and culture. The centerpiece of the site is the massive Grave Creek Mound, one of the largest conical burial mounds in the United States, constructed by the Adena people over 2,000 years ago. Standing at approximately 62 feet high and 240 feet in diameter, the mound is an awe-inspiring testament to the engineering and ceremonial practices of a complex prehistoric society. Reading some of the reviews stating that the displays are being removed and changed is somewhat disturbing. This is history; why is it being removed?
Our P — Google review
If you are in town, definitely worth a stop. There is a museum with historical information and artifacts and it's free. There is a cute little gift shop and if you so wish you can walk up the mound. It was an extremely warm day so we did not hike up the mound, but there are step carved or laid to the top.
Kelly H — Google review
The visitor center was more like a mini museum with rare artifacts and dinosaur bones and skeletons as well as a gift shop! It provided a great insight into what life for native americans and early settlers was like in the 1700s and 1800s. And it was free!
Mr Z — Google review
The mound itself is amazing. Because the steps up were pieces of stone they were a bit difficult and tiring but worth it because they didn't detract from the mound like concrete would have. The adjoining museum was very well done presented and informative.
Todd H — Google review
The museum is slowly going woke and all the artifacts are being removed. I've seen other museums with all native artifacts removed entirely, filled with only posters bashing all white people as racist. This will soon be one of them. The artifacts still here were wonderful to see, and the mound is worth checking out.
Palmisano — Google review
A very nice stop that is across from the WV State Penitentiary (which I recommend as well). Also includes a free museum that has some unique artifacts.

What an absolutely stunning little museum. A great museum sparks interest in a person where none previously existed and this museum does just that.

Park
Nature & Parks
Nestled in the picturesque hills of Northern West Virginia, Grand Vue Park is a haven for adventure seekers and relaxation enthusiasts alike. This expansive recreation area boasts a seasonal pool, ice rink, zip lines, golf courses, cozy cabins, and delightful concessions. Whether you're hiking through scenic trails or zipping through the treetops on one of eight thrilling courses, there's something for everyone to enjoy. Families can engage in various outdoor activities like mountain biking, climbing walls, disc golf, and even miniature golf!
We had a great time here. We traveled here with 5 other RVs and stayed in the campground. The sites were large and clean. Some of our group rented the golf carts and said they were the most reasonably priced rentals they had ever encountered. Views were fantastic from the sites and from the lookout. We used the free shuttle to go to the moundsville penitentiary the shuttle we take you to town and a tour. The pool was really nice and there was a snack bar. Miniature golf was fun, recommend going when they open or later in the day as it gets hot in the sun. The cost to do the activities was reasonable and pairing activities saves you some money. Lastly Craig the manager was amazing all weekend checked on us after arrival and asked if there was anything we needed, remembered our names and as he saw us throughout the weekend would stop and talk and gave us pointers on what to see and information on how he could make our next visit even better.
Kenneth B — Google review
We had the best time here! We celebrated Christmas in July and it was truly a weekend to remember. Our extended family shared the Fox Cabin, it was large and clean and stocked with everything we could need. It was located near all the fun stuff and had a spectacular view. The pool was amazing! Waterslides, tons of room, clean, beautiful! We had the chance to zip line and did the Wild tour. It was fantastic, I would do it again in a heartbeat. Our guides were so much fun and added another level of fun to the experience. The entire staff here is amazing. The grounds are stunning, you won't need to leave!

Stayed at Site 38 at Grand Vue RV Park. Beautiful area, lots to do, friendly staff. We were greeted by Craig, the General Manager, who gave us information about the local area. Super nice guy who will help you and answer any questions you may have. We toured the WV Penitentiary, played mini golf, and rode our ebikes on the Heritage Trail in Wheeling. Beautiful weather we had early September. P.S. Check out the two upside down trees Craig and his wife planted at the scenic overlook!
CJ S — Google review
We didnt stay in the lodge here, but hiked, played and mountain bikes at this beautiful park. I highly recommend it to anyone. There is a nice playground if you have littles, a scenic overlook, a high ropes course and of course hiking and mountain biking. Everything is well marked and easy to find. Great park!
Jennybean0305 — Google review
This is one of the most beautiful parks we have ever visited. We are campers and the campground and bath houses are immaculate. The views of the city from the campsites are stunning. There is a shuttle service that will take you to points of interest in Moundsville and Wheeling. There is something for everyone here. We will definitely be coming back.
Pamela N — Google review
Just stayed in the RV park with my family- one of our favorite parks! Beautiful views and grounds, lots to do, the pool/waterpark is amazing! The park manager, Craig and most of the employees were above and beyond nice. The playgrounds and mini golf area were huge and immaculate. My daughter thought the glow golf was the best thing ever :) One of my only complaints is the extra charge everyday to use the pool. For the 4 of us (my son is 3 so he was free) it was $20 per day. Next year when he’s 4 it will be almost $30 per day. So when you go for all 3 days you’re there it really adds up.

Had company picnic and the shelter was large (with firewood for fireplace provided if needed), kitchen, hot and cold water, fridge with freezer, electric, and his and her bathrooms. Perfect!
Becky R — Google review
We loved the campground, great wifi, staff goes above and beyond. Staff took us on tour of area and to various sites, waited while we toured. Hershey ice cream! Swimming pool, mini golf, Frisbee golf, trails, beautiful place.

Specialty Museums
Nestled in a charming early 1900s home, the Fostoria Glass Museum is a treasure trove for enthusiasts of collectible handmade glassware. This museum showcases an extensive collection of exquisite pressed, blown, and etched pieces from the renowned Fostoria Glass Company, which was once the largest producer of handmade glass in America until its closure in 1986.
Very niche museum on just Fostoria Glass. You get to watch a cool film from the 50s on how the glass was made and then the rest of the museum is displays of different types and shapes from the companies history broken out into different eras. The museum really helped me understand what glass I inherited from my grandparents.
Mark T — Google review
A lovely collection of Fostoria art to see for those who appreciate fine vintage glass! Also there - great adjacent parking, informative video, friendly staff, and available restroom. Thank you!🏺🙏🏼♥️
Cathryn H — Google review
This is great place and very knowledgeable volunteers. One gave it a low rating due to no elevator, well this runs all on donations, my feeling is that person ca donate for them to build an elevator. At least there is a chair lift for people to get up to the second floor It is a very interesting place. So much glass. Another left a lower rating and said it is good if you like depressed glass. Well if you don't like depressed glass don't go. Glass making is no longer done much. We were lucky to have Fostoria in Moundsville, both Viking and LG Wright in New Martinsville. Also, Paden City glass in Paden City and Febton Glass in Williamstown. So 5 glass making places from Moundsville to Williamstown. That is a lot just on State Route 2 in WV. I love all of that history.
Betty M — Google review
If you love Fostoria you MUST visit here. Rare pieces of many patterns to see along with just the sheer beauty of American made glass. Everyone is very friendly and they know their stuff! There is a small but thorough reference library and some nice displays. I'd like to go again!

Great displays of Fosteria glass. Nice staff

The Fostoria glass Museum is a lovely place. 2 full floors of beautiful Fostoria Glassware. We are complying with all of the state mandates and are requiring everyone to wear a mask. We have available masks and hand sanitizer. We are open Wednesday through Saturday from 1-4. Hope to see you soon.
Cassie C — Google review
Beautifully displayed. No time restriction with self guided tour, but questions expertly answered. Adequate parking. Pleasant and enjoyable. Very educational. Too bad could not keep at least part of the plant standing. But that's "progress".
RK S — Google review
Very interesting if you like antique glass and such. I enjoyed it because I grew up in moundsville and as a kid we would sneak into the old Fostoria glass factory and could see how it was all made. Back then, before it was demolished there was piles of old glass throughout the factory we used to dig thru to try and find full pieces... still have a few. Worth checking out.

Theaters
The Strand Theatre, a century-old cultural gem in Moundsville, is a beautifully restored historic venue offering a variety of entertainment for all ages. With its original woodwork and vintage charm, the theater hosts plays, musical performances, and shows every weekend. While it may benefit from assigned seating for larger events and an improved sound system, visitors appreciate the reasonable pricing and friendly staff. The theater's rich history and nostalgic ambiance make it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists alike.
The people working at the Halloween kids event were so kind & welcoming! My kids & their friend had a great time doing their arts & crafts upstairs, then really enjoyed watching The Monster House in the big theatre! We will definitely be keeping our eyes open for more events so that we can come back😊

Absolutely love this old theater. The ambiance is wonderful! Recently saw Nunsense. Excellent cast! Each and every one was an accomplished singer which is a rare find. It was a lovely night out. Look forward to going to another show there

This older theater is in Moundsville,West Virginia. This was a nice old theater. We went to see our favorite Bluegrass group, Crandall Creek. They put on a good show in the evening & in the afternoon we met them & learned about song writing & the recording business. It was a Great fun day with Great People. The town was very nice too.

Great staple in Moundsville. We have attended many shows and always have a great experience. Assigned seating would help with bigger events. Make sure you get there early to have seats together.

The Historic Strand Theatre Moundsville ,WV is an amazing venue to see live music. We saw an incredible band, ThunderBeard: A Tribute To ZZ Top, and they rocked the house! I can’t wait to see them again! The staff is wonderful and everything about the strand theater is just perfect! If you haven’t seen a show here, do yourself a favor and get tickets to the amazing live music shows and product productions they put on. Support this amazing local venue. They are the last of its kind and they are putting an amazing live music shows. 5 Stars!
Spiratus T — Google review
Theatre is beautiful. Unfortunately poor and nasty attitudes of a couple employees can easily ruin the experience here. It’s unfortunate.
Gina D — Google review
A beautiful piece of history. Gorgeous original wood works. Offers a variety of entertainment every weekend for everyone young n old. Pricing for events beyond reasonable. Nicest people ive ever met. Cant wait to go back and enjoy this theater turning 100 years old!
Lissa L — Google review
They did an amazing job restoring this beautiful place of history. There are several differences, but they don't detract in the least from the theater. While I would love to see modern movies playing here again, the plays, musical groups, and shows that have been here were still a delight! I remember seeing Westworld, Soylent Green, and a lot of other movies there when I was young. I am very happy to see it being used again!

Breakfast restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Moundsville, West Virginia, Bob's Lunch has been a beloved staple since its inception in 1947. This charming red brick diner is renowned for its home-style American cuisine that captures the essence of classic diner fare. Open daily at 7 a.m., it’s the perfect spot to kickstart your day with delicious coffee, fluffy pancakes, and perfectly scrambled eggs.
Came here for the first time after a docs appointment and BOY it did not disappoint. I got the liver and onions, my mother got country fried steak with gravy and green beans, and my brother got the jalapeno burger with fries. Its amazing and they make their own burger patties, and theres the option for fresh cut fries!!!

Delicious Cole slaw, just like my mom used to make. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Does it get any better when you get breakfast anytime. Will need to come back. Too many things on the menu to try.

We love coming here when we visit WV. The food is very decently priced and the portions are perfect. But most importantly, everything is really good! Nothing is greasy and it’s always cooked just right. The best place we have found for breakfast in this area.
Amber R — Google review
We are traveling and wanted a sit down lunch, and we definitely chose the right place. We arrived at about 11:45 on a Thursday and it was about 1/3 full but by noon there wasn't an empty table! Nevertheless, the service was fast, clearly this team is pro. Generous portions and delicious.
AJ H — Google review
Great little diner style spot in Moundsville! Quick service and food is good. Breakfast menu is on the smaller side but was thrilled to see Cocoa Wheats on the menu!
Danica H — Google review
Most of the food was good. Sausage gravy was OK. Might have come from a can? Food came out super quick but was room temp which tells me it was pre-made maybe. The issue was mainly with the hashbrowns. They were undercooked on one side and very hard on the other. Couldn't even eat them.
Matt D — Google review
Fantastic Lunch or Breakfast Spot! We stopped in to eat while in Moundsville, & we live in Pittsburgh. Service was phenomenal, food was delicious, and the prices simply can't be beat!!! They also do whatever they can to meet your needs. I asked for an iced coffee (not on menu) & the waiter personally whipped one up for me for the charge of a regular coffee. He was TOO sweet, we loved him so much, such a nice guy, Wish we got his name, unless perhaps it was Bob! Could have been! Thanks again Bob's Lunch for a wonderful experience!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SPOT FOR GOOD EATS!
Judy E — Google review
Simple food made good. It opened at 11 AM and my mom and I were seated at 11:45 AM. By that time, most of the tables were already filled up. It was a popular place. Most customers were eating brunch. I ordered lunch and it was good but not spectacular. Service was okay. If I go back, I would order brunch items to try it out.

Chicken wings restaurant
Buffalo Wild Wings is a popular chain that specializes in serving up delicious wings, tenders, and burgers, all complemented by an impressive array of sauces that cater to every palate—from sweet to fiery hot. While some guests have experienced minor hiccups with their orders during busy times, the overall consensus is that this spot is a go-to for wing lovers. The atmosphere can be lively, making it perfect for casual outings or even business lunches where attentive service shines through.
The food and service were wonderful for our business lunch meeting. Our server was on top of anything we needed.
Larry H — Google review
Great food, terrible service. Nobody seemed to care to acknowledge us when we walked until we addressed the workers sitting around talking. When we were seated we were made aware that they were out of fries, which is fine except they up-charge you for substituting your fries with a different side. They should not be up charging due to their lack of planning, especially if you just want to substitute tater tot's since it's the next cheapest option.
Trevor A — Google review
I ordered $70 worth of food for delivery tonight and it took well over an hour and every single item was cold...not warm but cold cold and nobody ate it. Clearly the food was cooked immediately and then sat for over an hour. I'll never order expensive, cold food again from here again!
Marnee D — Google review
OMG!! Due to having a gift card with a large amount on it, hubby and I went here for the first time. He got a regular cheeseburger and I got the mushroom Swiss burger. My burger literally dropped the grease from it. We got 30 honey bbq wings to go. Driving home, we both complained of severe indigestion. We both agree that this will be the last time we order a burger. Fingers crossed the wings will be better
Erin M — Google review
ngl this the LAST time I’m pulling up to this Moundsville spot 💀 waited over an HOUR just for 6 wings… like be so fr. last time I came, one of the servers had her lil kid posted up in a booth throwing up nonstop 🤢 bruh that’s nasty. not even the kid’s fault, but why you got your sick kid chillin in the bar?? super unsanitary, killed my whole vibe.
Jae S — Google review
Horrible service for the second time there. Lesson learned. Table had multiple servers walk by with no acknowledgement, hostess made eye contact so I thought perhaps she was going to save the day, but no. Finally, the manager on duty walked our way and then turned and went over to a different table. We were there to celebrate my son passing his driving test and he picked the restaurant otherwise I would have left. It was 17 minutes before we were acknowledged. We placed our order and thought she'd recover, but the poor service continued with never coming to check on how our order came out until we were finished eating, empty drinks after we had food, charges for a drink we didn't order, and not bringing an updated bill after I asked the manager to take it off the bill. After 5 minutes more of waiting, I ended up just leaving cash on the table for what the total had been with the drink and we left. There are plenty of other options in the area. Keep driving, as we will in the future.

The food was good. Love their orange chicken. They got my order wrong the first time and had to wait quite a while since it was busy with only 2 waitresses. If you're in the mood for good wings though it's the place to go. Great selection of sauces.
Sarah W — Google review
One of the worse Buffalo Wild Wings experiences of my life. The staff barely spoke, the wings went only half tossed, the menu said 18 and they gave me 15. Every potato is getting worse and worse here. The buffalo chips were great not we have hard tooth pick fries that won't soak up sauce.

The lunch menu caters to various cravings, offering quick bites and traditional favorites alike. For dinner, guests can indulge in an extensive selection featuring tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, and sizzling fajitas among other delicious options.
Eclectic and brightly colorful interior decor. Large and high ceiling dining area. Table chips and salsa was fresh and warm. All the orders in our party of 8 were superb. I particularly loved the tropical fajitas - the combination of steak, chicken, shrimp, bacon, and scallops was mouth watering. The margaritas hit the spot - not watered down. The flan was the only dessert we tried, and I loved it!

We were in town to see the Grave Creek Mound and decided to come here for lunch. I had the fish tacos and they were very good. My friend had some sort of platter with several different tacos and she liked it very much. Our margaritas were really good too and so was the service. I would come back if in town.

Being from California, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Mexican restaurant out here and happy that it was delicious. I ordered the burrito de Chile Colorado which came with rice. The portions were great and I was impressed with the burrito and rice. There were also chips and salsa included as an appetizer which was good too. Service was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Only negative thing was that I asked for a box and the waitress never returned with one. I asked another worker and he also never returned. After waiting for a bit, I took my loss and decided to leave.
Andres B — Google review
Stopped here between WV State Penitentiary tour and Archive of the Afterlife museum. It was quiet, quick service, friendly and attentive wait staff. The only complaint isn't really much but just FYI... My daughter and I ordered peach frozen daiquiri.. The blender needs replaced or they need to blend longer... Ice chunks so big you kept getting straw plugged up... Hard to drink it through the straw. I had vegie chimichanga and my daughter had steak fajitas.. Everything tasted great and was served way hot! I would eat here again if in the area.

American restaurant
Prima Marina, an eatery situated along the Ohio River, boasts a remarkable setting where patrons can relish their meals while taking in breathtaking views of the third largest river in the United States. This restaurant features stylish booths and a patio that allows diners to savor not only delectable American cuisine but also the captivating scenery. The menu showcases an array of options such as pizzas, burgers, seafood and meat dinner plates, as well as a wide variety of sandwiches.
This place was recommended to us by Rose from the Grave Creek Mound and Archeological Museum. She told us the view of the Devil's Elbow (a sharp right angle turn in the river) was the best from their back deck the food was delicious (at crazy good prices too, $7.50 for a bacon cheeseburger!). The staff were all super friendly, polite, and accommodating (I'm allergic to dairy and I don't walk very well - no steps from the car to the back porch). We have every intention of going back when we visit for Archeology Day Oct 5th (2024).

First time here and everything was great, I'm pregnant so I had to order a little of everything! I got the buffalo chicken dip, a cup of the broccoli soup, the fantail shrimp dinner with a loaded baked potato and apple sauce and even decided to order some apple dumplings to go. The ladies that took care of me were awesome and everything came out surprisingly super fast. I will definitely be back 😁

One of my favorite locations whenever I stop to see family and revisit the abandoned penitentiary when I’m in Moundsville. The location is beautiful and the river is always a lot of fun to see. There’s also a playground nearby for the kids to go before or after dinner.
Caveman T — Google review
there was a massive FAT dead spider under the window which really took away from the atmosphere, and there were a lot of bugs on the terrace but it’s by a lake so it’s not unexpected. the food was fine and the waiter was extremely receptive and polite. personally i wouldn’t recommend the pizza, but the other meals looked delicious and me and my family had a good time.

Service and atmosphere is great. Very nice ladies working here taking care of your order. Ordered the cheeseburger with chips this round. Need to make the hamburger patty fresh. There's is frozen here and it does taste frozen just like DQ. The chips were good but not very many in the basket. Is there any place near here with fresh food?
Cowboy H — Google review
Don't lie to me about pie. Seriously don't say you have homemade pie and then set a slice of Marie Callender's coconut cream pie in front of me. View from the deck was nice. Had a Guinness, it was canned so can't mess that up. Waitress didn't bother asking if I or my friend wanted another, just asked if the check was split, so I decided one was good since she seemed to not want to add to the check for a better tip.
Onduvalst — Google review
Waitress seemed rude and was ready for us to leave before we were ready. Food was less than mediocre. My friend and I were planning on having a second drink which I told the waitress but instead she asked a few minutes later if the check was together and then brought it to us so we left. View is great.

Had the steak salad. It was ok. The salad tastes like it was fresh out of a grocery store bag. The "steak" was basically Steakumms not true steak. Nice place awesome people here just need to upgrade the food a touch

I'd give zero stars if that were an option. We went to tour WV Penitentiary. Had a very nice experience there. Was hoping for a nice lunch, and looking to support a local restaurant. This place is NOT it. We were not greeted, and did not feel welcome at all. I even mentioned it being our first time there and the waitress couldn't have cared less. No personality whatsoever. I don't expect entertainment from my wait staff, just some basic manners and decency. The food...it was edible. Very small portions. She never came back to our table to check on us. Nobody did. My husband was interested in ordering another sandwich, but nobody ever came over to us. Save your money and time and find some where else to eat if you're in that area. Very disappointing.

Such a great little diner. Our waitress was fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. Their prices are really reasonable too. We will be back for sure.

Food was average at best. Service was terrible if I'm being honest. Our waitress brought us our food and we never saw her again despite the place being empty except the 2 guys sitting at the bar eating. I actually wanted to order more food and also needed a drink refill but we never saw our waitress again. Definitely won't return here. 🤷

Everything is phenomenal. It doesn't matter what you get its gonna be amazing. I got the shock this time and its hands down the best breakfast meal I've ever got. Its enough to feed 4 people! Highly recommend.

GOOOOOD I love this place so much. The service is always amazing. The people are SUUPER friendly. And loRD the food is so affordable and good. The only place I can think of to spend a small amount of money for great food. Reminds me of home comfort food. I always tell my friends that when I start a family, I’m definitely taking my kids here. It’s just a great place. Wish some of the customers treated the employees better. I’ve seen some nasty jerks before with absolutely no patience. I love this place so much

Edit: not sure what's going on with Josh but, since he's been gone I can't eat the food. I hate to say it but my stomach can't handle the food made by whoever made my last 2 meals Josh did a great job cooking my food. Joann has great prices on the chicken and taters

I wish I could give this establishment negative stars. We went there before going on a tour of the West Virginia state penitentiary and as soon as we walk in everyone (including the staff) was staring at us. We did not get greeted at all. I am an African American male and the waitresses went to every table around us and asked if they were good except for our table. Additionally, we waited for 20 minutes and had to grab our own menus and they still did not serve us. After 30 minutes, we got up and walked out. If someone would have told me it was a white only establishment and other ethnic groups would not be served I would have not went. Please AVOID this place if ever visiting Moundsville WVA.
