Disney Parks & Activities
Tokyo Disneyland is a magical extension of the beloved theme park experience, nestled in the vibrant Chiba Prefecture. This enchanting destination offers an array of thrilling rides, captivating live shows, and delightful encounters with costumed characters that bring your favorite Disney stories to life. Visitors can immerse themselves in the whimsical atmosphere while exploring iconic attractions like Cinderella Castle.
What a great park. We personally liked this park more than Disney Sea but still had a great time. There was not as many people here and felt a lot calmer than the other one which is a great switch. It’s super clean, the staff were helpful, and the rides were all unique enough to be fun and enjoyable. The food was also great and had an easy time finding our way around the park. It does get very hot in August, so please be prepared for the heat. We recommend using the fast passes when you arrive. If you are a tourist, they are worth it if you know you won’t come back. But we love Disney! And this park was no exception!

Our visit to Tokyo Disneyland was absolutely magical from start to finish! The park was beautifully maintained, and every corner was filled with Disney charm. The parades, attractions, and staff hospitality were all top-notch — it truly felt like stepping into a fairytale. What made our experience even more special was our stay at the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. The hotel was simply fabulous — elegant, spotless, and perfectly themed. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Our room had a beautiful view of the park, and the convenience of being just steps away from the entrance made it easy to fully enjoy our day. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a great mix of Japanese and Western dishes. We also appreciated the little Disney touches everywhere — from the decor to the amenities. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return and make more magical memories! ✨

Tokyo Disneyland was such a fun and magical experience! The park feels super clean, well-organized, and full of classic Disney charm. The parade and shows are amazing—honestly some of the best I’ve seen at any Disney park. My favorite rides were Pooh’s Hunny Hunt (the trackless tech is so smooth and cute), Big Thunder Mountain, and Monsters Inc. Ride & Go Seek. The food is great too—tons of cute themed snacks and unique popcorn flavors. It does get crowded, but the cast members are incredibly kind and efficient, so everything runs smoothly. Overall, it’s a fantastic mix of nostalgia, creativity, and Japanese attention to detail. A must-visit for Disney fans!

Park was crowded even weekdays when we visited last October. Very festive with locals dressing up and parading their costumes. Priority/premier pass will be a time saver as popular rides take more than an hour wait. Some of the attractions were under renovation, overall, we still had fun

I absolutely loved visiting Tokyo Disneyland. It was so amazing and very much worth the money. Before going I wasn't so keen because I'm not so in to rides and Disney has connotations of being for kids. Each of the rides was varied and had so much detail in them though. There were some thrill seeker rides but also many calm ones. All the rides I went on were so much fun! Staff were wonderful all throughout my time there too. They were all so happy and upbeat, very friendly, courteous and helpful. Wait times were long for the rides but once on them, I forgot about my wait completely. The atmosphere of the rides as well as the whole park was a very happy one. The park was very crowded but it catered well for it. There were many places to eat located throughout the park. I thought they were reasonably priced. The park was kept very clean too. I would highly recommend visiting Tokyo Disneyland and am keen to come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tokyo Disneyland – Pure Magic for All Ages Tokyo Disneyland is an absolute standout — one of the happiest, cleanest, and most well-run theme parks in the world. From the moment you walk through the gates, everything feels seamless: friendly staff, spotless grounds, incredible attention to detail, and that classic Disney magic with a uniquely Japanese twist. The rides cater to all ages — gentle, nostalgic classics through to fun, high-energy attractions. The parades are next-level, beautifully choreographed with amazing costumes and music. Food options are great (and surprisingly affordable), with cute themed snacks everywhere. Despite the crowds, the park is extremely organised and easy to navigate. Lines move quickly, and everything feels calm and well managed. The atmosphere is just joyful — families, couples, friends, everyone smiling and soaking it in. A full day of fun, laughter, and Disney magic. If you’re visiting Tokyo, this is a must-do experience — unforgettable for kids and adults alike.

Enjoyed my 32nd Birthday here. Was my last full Day in Japan and I went to Disneyland for my birthday. Had an amazing meal at Hokusai. Got on about 5 rides enjoyed 3 showns and 2 parades. Was a well worth spent day at Disneyland. I love Tokyo's Disneyland and TokyoSea because it reminds me of the ones at home the OG Disneyland and California Adventure. I will always save time to do a Disney trip in Tokyo.

Best Disney park for well kept rides, very happy and helpful staff, and still maintaining the Disney way that was written about in so many old business school books. I would be surprised if they still replaced working lights to make sure they never burn out. Price is incredible as well. Only downside is that Japan is a country of lines and there are many here (good side no on cuts or rushes to get to the front)

Water & Amusement Parks
Nestled within the enchanting Tokyo Disney Resort, Tokyo DisneySea is a captivating theme park that boasts seven uniquely themed ports of call. Opened in 2001, this sprawling 176-acre wonderland attracts millions of visitors each year, making it one of Japan's most beloved attractions. With its nautical themes and thrilling rides designed for older teens and adults, it's an ideal destination for those seeking adventure.
Had a great time at Tokyo DisneySea! Got there around 8:50AM and managed to get in pretty quickly when the park opened at 9AM. Definitely recommend getting your tickets ahead of time and having the Disney Resort app on your phone for access to maps and wait times. Priority passes can only be purchased after your ticket has been scanned, which is why so many people show up early. These passes go fast, so check for some of the popular rides soon after getting into the park to save yourself some long wait times. If you want to go to both parks, split it up between two days if possible. Also know that there is a good distance between the entrances so taking the monorail is a must if you have to go to both in one day. Tickets to ride the monorail do cost money, so I recommend having cash on hand. I didn't have a Suica card, but that would likely work, too. Of the two parks, DisneySea was my favorite. There are so many details to keep an eye out for. It was absolutely gorgeous, rides were great, and I would love to go again.

Before anything else, I want to say that this was our fourth visit to Tokyo DisneySea. All of our previous visits were absolutely wonderful — the romantic atmosphere, the cool and comfortable weather, the beautiful decorations, and the fun attractions. Even though some rides had very long waiting times, everything still felt worth it. We truly loved the place. However, this visit was the first time we felt deeply disappointed. It seemed like the number of guests was far too high, to the point that we could barely queue for any of the popular rides. Most of the attractions we wanted to experience had waiting times of around 100 minutes or more, and many rides were in the same situation. It felt as if the park was focused mainly on selling as many tickets as possible, without considering whether guests inside the park could actually enjoy the attractions comfortably, or whether the crowd level had become excessive. This issue really affected our experience, and it made us very sad to give such a low rating to a place we truly love. We sincerely hope that these problems will be addressed and improved in the future.
Tony — Google review
They do not sell physical tickets like California or Hong Kong and Shanghai’s does. All tickets are in the form of e-tickets. If you’re looking to get one for keepsake, it’s not happening. The park was very different from Disneyland, so much to do! From rides, to shops to photo opportunities, you can get so much out of it! I’d recommend spending at least 2 days here to be able to comfortably enjoy everything. Else, prepare ample time when you visit. The cast members were kind, approachable even with language barrier and helpful. Plenty of fun and cute souvenirs to buy that are exclusively to DisneySea only. Be sure to visit the store right beside/below Fantasy Springs Hotel inside the park. They have a handful of exclusive merch for the hotel. You don’t have to be a hotel guest to purchase them. The park has different feels during day and night time. If your budget allows, definitely visit either Disneyland and or DisneySea to build unforgettable memories with your friends, family or even yourself! While you’re at it, try some curry popcorn. It was 😗🤌🏼👌🏼!

azing experience at Tokyo DisneySea! The park is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail, and each themed area feels like stepping into a different world. The shows, rides, and nighttime entertainment were all fantastic. The staff were friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly despite the crowds. Overall, it’s one of the best theme parks I’ve ever visited and absolutely worth the trip. Highly recommended!

Tokyo DisneySea offers an incredible day out, but the true highlight is the nighttime lagoon show and fireworks around 7:30 p.m. As the park darkens, the Mediterranean Harbor transforms into a glowing stage where water, light, and music come together in a spectacular performance. The show features sweeping laser effects that dance across the water and buildings, creating vivid patterns and shimmering colors. Paired with dramatic music and Disney melodies, the atmosphere feels both magical and cinematic. Fireworks are timed precisely with the soundtrack, bursting above the lagoon and reflecting beautifully on the water’s surface, which makes the whole harbor feel like it’s glowing. Viewing spots around Mediterranean Harbor fill up quickly, so it’s worth finding a place at least 30–45 minutes in advance for the best experience. The show can be slightly different depending on the season or special events, which adds a nice element of surprise for repeat visitors. While rides and themed areas at DisneySea are outstanding, this 7:30 p.m. show is what truly ties the day together. It feels like a grand finale that leaves you with that classic Disney sense of wonder and nostalgia as you head toward the park exit.

We visited Tokyo DisneySea last November 27, 2025 and had an amazing time. We took the direct bus from Skytree Town, which took around 30 minutes and was very convenient. It was quite crowded, so some of the popular attractions had wait times of over an hour. We ended up buying Premier Access for Tower of Terror and Peter Pan’s Never Land Adventure to make the most of our day. There was light rain in the afternoon and evening, but it didn’t take away from the experience. The absolute highlight was the Believe! Sea of Dreams show at 19:30. The lights, music, and fireworks were spectacular and definitely worth staying for. Overall, it was a fun and memorable visit despite the crowds and rain.

It was great. Well, organized and a Little different than Disney in America. How about the special Sando with the truffle mashed potatoes and the Roast Beef? .That was weird. Otherwise, it was a great trip. And the show at 7:30. Call the sea of dreams was extremely moving and had a medley of all songs that I could have asked for in my favorite Disney movies.(I really love tangled.) The train was easy to navigate and it made sense.. Overall, this seems like the more adult Disney side of the resort.

So much fun! All the different worlds were really cool and much cheaper than universal! The fast passes work great once you get into the rhythm of the Disney resort app. 10/10 recommend! Definitely go on a Tuesday or Wednesday if you can. We went on a Wednesday in November and didn’t feel crazy busy at all.

Tokyo Disney Resort is conveniently located near the famous Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park, where visitors can enjoy picnics on the vast lawns, especially during cherry blossom season. Tokyo DisneySea features its own original characters, including the beloved Duffy bear and his friends, with exclusive merchandise available at various shops throughout the park.
This was my first Disney experience, and it was so enjoyable! I'm not a super fan by any means but from an amusement park overall it is highly organized. Every employee is cheerful with a smile and energy that is infectious. And there was not a single bad or lame ride. Everything is so well executed. The food is not great, but that is easy to forget once you walk around and continue having fun. The jungle Cruise and Cinderella were my favorite, and the parades are so well done they are awesome not to be missed! Pro tip: get in early to take advantage of all the passes and cut down on wait times!

A magical experience for all ages! Tokyo Disneyland is pure magic from the moment you enter. The rides are fun and well-maintained, the parades and shows are spectacular, and the park is beautifully themed down to every detail. Staff are friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Perfect for families, friends, or solo visitors who want to feel the Disney magic. Don’t forget to try the themed snacks and take lots of photos!

Such a magical place. My husband normally hates rides but even he ended up going on most of them! There’s a great mix of gentle train/boat rides and fun thrills like Splash Mountain with its multiple drops. The parades were fantastic, especially the evening ones all lit up. We were also pleasantly surprised by the food prices. Considering it’s a huge tourist attraction, the food was reasonably priced and there were plenty of tasty options. The evening fireworks as the park closed were the perfect ending — a magical finale to an unforgettable day. Tokyo Disneyland is simply a must-visit! 🎆✨

Imagine a beautiful painting of an elegant mansion fit for a royal family. That's what this place feels like. The staff are super helpful. We booked with a vacation package, and booked an additional day. Unfortunately we had to switch rooms because the vacation package was under my wife's name, and the extra booking was under mine. Even though we shared the same Surname, it's considered different and couldn't combine it. Anyway, the rooms are beautiful, and very spacious. Tons of amenities and freebies, my kids took all the slippers and toothbrushes. And right out the courtyard is non other than the entrance to Disneyland Tokyo. It's an awesome hotel, but very expensive. I give this hotel a wooooo!
Edward N — Google review
It was magical. I expected it to be a replica of Disneyland in Anaheim, but its rrally more a version of that park. Whole there are a lot of familiar elements, it is also very unique. The castle is Cinderella's and not Sleeping Beauty's, and they have a second castle, Beauty and The Beast's. This was the most magical ride! The haunted mansion was the same inside (but it's all spoken in Japanese), but the exterior is a red brick facade. It is well worth a day in your itinerary (and it's much less expensive than Disney in the States).
Teresa S — Google review
The vacation package was expensive, but it allowed us to do both parks in 2 days with the priority pass, early entry and food reservation benefits. The resort was beautiful and well maintained. The service was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Disney Tokyo is truly one of if not the best Disney I went to, only because of Disney Sea. The Disneyland park is really similar to what we have in Paris, except maybe for a couple attractions but Disney Sea is really something else entirely ! The lands are massive and the decorations are beautiful, tons of references to Disney characters and locations, it was magical 🤩 We had a hitel package that comes with fast passes for selected attractions and it was necessary as some had more than 2 hours of line and some 3 hours !! But because of those 3 passes, we could enjoy those without even 3 minutes of waiting, it is definitely worth it if you plan on going. Plenty of vegan options in the restaurant so that's great, the app is also quite nice even if it can be buggy at times. A must see if you like Disney and you're in Tokyo for more than a week.
Burabetsu — Google review
The best Disney park in my opinion. Its very busy though. We went on a rainy thursday and wait time for Frozen etc is from 150-180 minutes. Best to come early and get all the priority pass you can.

Shopping
Located in the Maihama district of Urayasu City, Tokyo, IKSPIARI is a shopping complex within the Tokyo Disney Resort. With its fanciful architecture and more than 100 shops, restaurants, cafes, cinemas, and a Disney Resort Line Station, it offers an array of international brands. The mall attracts visitors from around the world and provides additional dining options for those visiting Tokyo Disneyland or staying at nearby hotels.
An interesting shopping mall just outside the main Disneyland. There's shopping, food and many other things here. Very convenient, too. A must visit if you've come all the way here.
David J — Google review
This mall is extremely unique They have a dome in the middle of the mall right next to the rain forest cafe and if you stand right in the middle and snap your finger or make a funny noise it will echo like crazy TGIF Fridays is a restaurant in this mall, if your looking decently priced food and drinks this is the place to go. Only reason I’m giving this place a 4/5 star rating is due to the layout. It’s a maze and a little difficult to find your way around. I stayed in a hotel close to it on my last couple days in Japan as I wanted to be somewhat close to the airport so I spent a lot of time at this mall considering it’s the only thing to do in this area (that I knew of) if your not willing to take a train into Tokyo. Once you’ve walked around it once you probably won’t care to walk it again (from my experience)
Avi — Google review
This shopping area is close to the parks and has some good options. We wish it was even connected like the Downtown Disney to make it more accessible but it’s still easy to get to. The main train station being connected also makes this very convenient to use. The food in the area is simple but also very filling.

IKSPIARI is an interesting place and concept. It has many stores and restaurants within it and has access via subway and Disney Monorail system. It houses the Disney Store and movie theaters as well as western eateries like Starbucks and McDonald’s. They even have Rainforest Cafe. This is a great place to eat/visit especially if you are at Tokyo Disney or Disney Sea theme parks.

Bardral Urayasu Arena is a large sports complex that caters to a variety of activities. It boasts indoor courts suitable for futsal games and martial arts, along with a dedicated kids' play area and cafe. The gym is well-equipped with excellent trainers who emphasize the importance of working on legs. Additionally, there is an impressive pool available for use alongside the gym and kids' area.
Outside the arena was a large park-like space, very open. The inside of the arena was clean and comfortable, and the futsal game was very exciting. I was very impressed by the spectators who seemed to enjoy watching the games while drinking alcohol

We came here the beginning of August 2025 for an international karate competition, and used the upper gym on the 4th floor for practice before spending a few days in the main arena. The seats were nice and clean, with good views of the arena action on the first floor. The facilities were clean. Buffet restaurant
The buffet restaurant Chef Mickey features lavish service and character dining with a Mickey Mouse theme. Characters will come to your table one by one to take photos, so it is easy to schedule a reservation. The food is also good.
Mickey Mouse was everywhere, even the food! The dishes were shaped like Mickey, and I especially loved the pancakes. I booked this restaurant through a Vacation Package, which requires reserving a dining time. When you arrive, the staff will guide you to your table and let you know when Chef Mickey will be coming around. When Chef Mickey comes to your table, you can only take a group shot - Individual photos are not allowed. If it’s your birthday, the staff will celebrate with you. I saw it happen to other guests — it looked so fun!

We loved everything about our lunch experience here. This was added in as a part of our Vacation Package. The food quality was amazing, as we normally have pretty low standards for buffets back home in Australia. The staff were amazing, ensuring that we were looked after, from beginning to end. We had the pleasure of meeting Mickey, as well as take a couple of photos with him during our dining time. It was a very positive experience. We even opted for a "Happy Wish Day" Set as a honeymoon souvenir to take home! P.S. Give yourself ample time to get there from Disneyland Park as you also have to catch a bus over to the Disney Ambassador Hotel as well.
Jane D — Google review
As part of the Disney vacation package we booked, breakfast at Chef Mickey in the Disney Ambassador Hotel was included — and it was such a delightful experience! The breakfast is a buffet style with a great selection of delicious food, and many of the items were cutely shaped like Mickey, which made it even more fun and special. The food was not only adorable but also very tasty! One of the highlights was getting to meet Chef Mickey himself! There are timings for character meet-and-greets, and we were lucky to meet him in the morning for some photos. It made the whole breakfast experience even more magical. Highly recommend dining here if you’re staying at the hotel or visiting — a perfect way to start your Disney day!
Billy L — Google review
We stayed at the Disney Ambassador Hotel and made reservations to Chef Mickey a couple months in advance. We were able to get reservations and eat breakfast here. It's a Japanese buffet with that Disney touch. The food is quite good with a traditional Japanese breakfast along with American-style. There's pastries and plenty of drinks for everyone. They had a Mickey pastry that you can color in with chocolate paint, really fun for both kids and adults. We also took the group photo as an extra charge. The photographer did well with hiding people from our photo. The highlight though is being able to take pictures with Chef Mickey since we couldn't take one with him at either park. They use your camera/phone to take photos. Also, they start removing food at 10:30 to prepare for lunch.
Allen R — Google review
Of all the character meals I've enjoyed in Tokyo (all of them, basically) Chef Mickey's is, by far, my favourite. Why? Because you get to hug Mickey, of course. The buffet is standard. There's a good selection of well made desserts along with rice & noodles dishes, soups and a salad bar. It's not extensive and a little basic but everything tasted nice. The restaurant decor is retro classy and very welcoming. I love the design aesthetic of the entire Ambassador Hotel. It's also very accessible from Maihama station; just walk through Ikspairi Mall, go to the right and you're there. During our visit I found the cast members to be extremely accommodating. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday during our trip and they put in a fantastic effort to make her feel special. Obviously the highlight is the main mouse himself. Sometime during the meal it's your chance to hug and socialise with Mickey and he's an absolute delight. Worth every penny, if you ask me. TOP TIP: Bookings open at 9am (Japan Standard Time) a month before your intended visit. In my opinion they are practically impossible to get (though definitely try!). However, there are cancellations ALL the time. If you want to visit and you're flexible just keep checking the days of your visit during your visit and one will very likely pop up. I've seen quite a few before and after I booked mine. Chef Mickey's is a wonderful experience I'd recommend to any and all. It's the one (and probably only) Disney reserved meal I'll be doing next visit.

Very limited food options for my preference. They even don’t have omelet egg and I had to fight for it Anyway I don’t think it is suitable for Middle East people.

food was decent but definitely not worth the price. it was frankly a disappointing assortment of food, having more indian cuisine present than japanese food (which i found quite odd but whatever). however, the service was amazing, with friendly and attentive staff. the meet up with mickey was also good as you got to go with mickey up close (only downside is its only one photo and on your own device). overall, go for the experience, not the food.

Nothing really special here. It’s decorated and follows the Queen of Hearts theme but that’s it. Food is not bad and prices are decent. Steak and chicken are both great options. Do get the larger portion. The kids meal was very simple. The chocolate cake we got was something the kids could decorate so that was fun. Service is very fast and the line keeps moving. It’s cafeteria style so when you get to the front they will ask what you want and prepare it for you. Probably $15 or less a person. A steal for Disney food!

This restaurant is one of the best themed restaurants at Disney. You're transported to a world of Alice and wonderland right upon entry. The buffet restaurant Sherwood Garden Restaurant offers a wide variety of international and Disney-inspired desserts in a sprawling, old-world setting. The food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is delightful. It's a great place to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We enjoyed our buffet here. There is a good selection of Western, Japanese and Chinese food. As a pescatarian I had a lot of options for food. I especially enjoyed the benito sashimi and the shrimp gratin. Overall the food wasn't amazing, but that's buffet food. A really good selection of deserts which my husband and I enjoyed trying. For 5000yen per person at lunch it's expensive for Japan but not for Disney buffets. In Walt Disney World you would be paying $40 per person plus tax and tip.

This restaurant was actually pretty good for it being a buffet style. What I enjoyed most was the salmon, veggie pizza, and a lot of the desserts. I would go back and recommend it. Not to mention, it was one of the best food places I had at Disney.

Nice setting and comfortable. We had breakfast buffet and it was okay. Nothing really stood out. There are regional dishes galore but Western dishes are a bit lacking so plan accordingly.

I was a little disappointed here as I had breakfast at the Fantasy Springs hotel previously and this did not compare. The food selection wasn’t as great and the buffet wasn’t as tidy. The dining rooms show their age and the staff wasn’t as nice.

Honestly if service and atmosphere can be eaten, then this place is fine. Else it is a restaurant serving low cost food that is not matching to the price at ¥6600. I wouldn't say the food taste awful, but rather it is cheap. Maybe the pastry get a passed scoring and that is it. Worst of all , the only free drink is plain water. I will advise to seek other place for buffet even if you have spare cash to waste.

The breakfast buffet is the most expensive and also the worst breakfast I've ever had. About $28 USD and so so so bad. On the same level as a free Marriott breakfast. Maybe even worse than that. Mini pancakes soggy eggs, weird tasting sausage. For $28. Even Denny's is better

Beautiful buffet restaurant in the hotel. A bit pricey, but if you can get breakfast included in the room rate it's a great start to the day.

Italian restaurant
Ristorante di Canaletto offers traditional Italian cuisine in a grand, 18th-century-inspired hall adorned with fresco paintings and chandeliers. It is an upscale dining option suitable for families, offering a Bambino set for kids and a variety of sophisticated dishes for adults, such as squid tagliolini and spaghettini with clams peperoncino. The restaurant is known for its high-quality Italian food, including unique pizzas and elegant pasta dishes.
My wife and I enjoyed the chef’s course having a reservation. We were seated to wait 5 minutes before we were lead to the table. Orders were taken and we were promptly served. The lobster appetizer was more scallop than lobster, the fish tagliatelle and the beef ragout pasta were both surprisingly good but the sirloin was OTHERWORLDLY. Dessert met the expectations set by the sirloin. Water was refilled several times throughout the meal.

Ristorante di Canaletto offers a charming Italian dining experience within Tokyo DisneySea. Despite not having a reservation, we were able to dine here after a wait of about 45 minutes to an hour. The menu features Italian classics, and we enjoyed their spaghetti and pizza. I also tried the Chef's recommended Antipasto, which was beautifully presented and added a touch of elegance to the meal. While the food was good overall, it didn’t leave a lasting impression beyond being solidly enjoyable. The service was attentive and friendly, contributing to a pleasant dining experience. One detail worth noting is that their menu appears to change monthly. Since we visited at the end of August, certain items were only available starting in September, so it’s worth double-checking if there’s something specific you’d like to try. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Overall, Ristorante di Canaletto is a good choice for a leisurely Italian meal while exploring DisneySea.

I was lucky enough to get a booking for this place in the morning of our Disneysea experience. This has to have been the best Italian restaurant I’ve been to in a long time. The dishes were reasonably priced and incredible, the pizza is wood fired and you can see the making it from the dining area. I will try to go here every time I come to Japan in the future. Staff were also very efficient and polite, really enjoyed their customer service. If you do not go here you will be missing out!

This is not Italian food. This is a fusion of Japanese Italian food and a bad version of it. We booked this place through the website during our vacation package. We didnt realize we booked the Special Set. We also paid for it when we bought our package. So our dining experience finally came and we tried to explain that we didnt want the special set. We tried to order pizza. They said that would cost extra. We agreed to pay. However, not getting the set was not an option. We were forced to get the set. So we decided not to buy the pizza as we would have a table full of food we didnt want and we would feel bad wasting food. That happened anyway because of how bad it was. The appetizer of the Sardine Salad will surely make most people gag at best. Then the Beef Pasta came. The beef tastes awful and the pasta was under cooked (not al dente, we know good al dente- this was under cooked) and the sauce was some sort of brown gravy with balsamic... it was awful. I will stop here. No need to continue. Its a pretty place and the staff were nice minus not letting us say no to the set. Maybe the pizza is good but I doubt it?

Italian food of the finest quality. Special pizza with unique ingredients. Magherita pizza is a must-order!! Pasta has an elegant taste which is it's specialty!!! The set with mushroom soup is delicious!! Their mushroom soup is very good, definitely worth trying. If there is a choice to sit outside or inside the restaurant, I recommend you sit outside. There's a heater installed on the ceiling, keeping you warm. If you're inside, you might feel a little too warm. Service is good even though they had the looks of struggling to understand some of our English words. Place is clean and comfortable.

Very friendly. The food was delicious. I suggest you make reservations to avoid waiting time.

A very busy restaurant, so a booking is highly recommended to avoid long waits. The Christmas menu was superb in all its courses (Antipasto, Pasta, Roast Beef and Dessert) , and service was extremely friendly. The staff were ever attentive and were flawless in creating a great dining experience. The overall atmosphere is also very homey in the evening. A must-go for dinner at Tokyo Disneysea!

A good place to go. If you can try to book it. I tried but always says busy. The staff is friendly and helpful. The place feels relaxing and feels like you are in Italy. I sat outside which was nice. The food menu has English. The food is good for the price. For an amusement park, it is cheap. I would have given a 5 star but I wish they had 2 more pizza styles to choose from this was the only downside.

Japanese restaurant
Udon noodle restaurant
Restaurant Hokusai offers a tranquil space to enjoy Japanese set meals, including tempura and udon noodles. The restaurant provides a kids' menu and allows walk-ins if seats are available. Customers can also make bookings at the restaurant from 10:00 a.m. The spacious yet quaint setting features traditional Japanese music and traditionally dressed staff, creating a special atmosphere. Visitors have praised the friendly service and generous portions of dishes like tempura plates with fresh shrimp and vegetables.
A delicious Japanese restaurant inside Tokyo Disneyland, though be prepared to queue a bit, and then queue again after being called up. Service is fast but feels rather impersonal, typical of a busy theme park. That said, the food is pretty good considering the location—better than expected for theme park standards. They even put in a cute effort to incorporate Mickey Mouse into their desserts, which adds a nice touch. Overall, a recommended option if you’re looking for a solid meal during your visit.

We visited Hokusai Restaurant at Disneyland Tokyo without a reservation. Upon arrival, two ladies at the front informed us that the wait time would be around 30–45 minutes. True to their estimate, we were seated after about 45 minutes. While most of the staff were friendly, I felt that the service could have been a bit more welcoming — perhaps due to the language barrier, as English communication was quite limited. That said, once seated, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We didn’t have high expectations, but the dishes turned out to be very good! One thing to note is that the service time was a little slow, so be prepared to wait a bit after ordering. Overall, it was a nice experience, and worth a visit.

We tried the special set and the pork cutlet set. Both were good for being amusement park food. While the price is more than I would have liked, it was filling and was plenty of food. We’ve paid more for a 5 piece tempura set at a restaurant in Shibuya than the cost of the set at Hokusai, so I think Hokusai is still a good choice.

This is a Japanese interior inspired restaurant with beautiful wooden furnitures, artwork and patterns. I made reservation for lunch the day before. I got one of the last available spots as they get filled few days beforehand. The restaurant has couple of set items in the menu. I got the steak combo set that came with large pieces of sliced beef, eel on omelette, veggie tempura, miso soup and of course fruit bowl. Most of the were decent. I liked the eel and tempura. The menu had some souvenir items with some of the special dishes. The service was friendly here. Our server tried her best to help us but there was little communication problem as wasn’t skilled in English. The checkout was at the counter next to entrance/exit. All in all, it was a good dining experience for us.

The restaurant is inside Tokyo Disneyland. Reservation is highly recommend. You can try walk in but mostly it’s gonna be denied. The service is excellent. Everyone is so polite and nice. The waitress is really patient and helpful since we don’t speak Japanese (We use google translate). Seats are comfortable. Spacious for everyone. Very nice and Japanese theme decoration. Bathroom is clean. The food comes out quickly. I had tempura combo. LOVE IT!!!! unlike the US, the ingredients inside are actually the portion of the food not the batter part. Very fresh. Tasty. Miso soup is hot and flavorful. I finished everything on that plate. I will recommend it if you want a nice meal in the park.

We were ready to leave Disney Tokyo but I saw this restaurant and I check if the wait was going to be long. So I asked and the lady said about 10 minutes… that was great, so I decided to have a Japanese lunch… we order the Hokusai Chirasi don and special lunch. Apparently they change the menu accordingly to what is available which made it more interesting.

Expected more but felt really short on taste and service. Servers were not attentive even not coming around for water or drinks . Not sure if that is Japanese culture. We ordered tonkatsu and that was bland. Tempura wasn’t all that great so we were not impressed. Hoping for better food at Tokyo Disneyland in the coming hours.

In terms of Disneyland food, this is actually pretty good. We did a walk in and was told the wait time is 10 minutes but it was shorter than that.
