Fabulous place! I was amazed on the size, architecture and furnishings as well as the collections inside. The surrounding are is also beautiful and it’s gardens were nice too. It’s easily accessible and also offer bus ride to the house from the car park. Staff were very friendly and everything was clean and top notch. I would highly recommend a visit as there’s a lot to see. Might recommend spending a few hours to truly appreciate all of that is to see.
Really enjoyable visit to this stately home although it was built as a museum to house the possessions of the Rothschild family. Fantastic collection of art works, ceramics, tapestries and furniture and grounds. Entry needs to be pre-booked via their website there is a long walk 20 to 30 minutes from the car park to the house or you can book a shuttle bus for £2.50 return, free if you’re a blue badge holder.
Easy to find with large ticket office and excellent parking capacity inc disabled with a shuttle bus to the house and stables. Property has an interesting history and easy to walk through the various rooms. Large gardens for outdoor walking. Plenty of food and drink available. House has timed tickets available online or at the ticket office on arrival. Staff friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
A good wee place to explore and walk (in the garden), learn about history, architecture and art. Perfect for couples and families as they have a nice cafe(outdoor sitting) and wine shop. Some of the areas were closed when we visited(they were doing some renovation/maintenance work). They have spacious parking. Overall a very good experience.
Lovely day out, and very beautiful architecture. Lots of walking, if you like that sort of thing, which we do! The Manor's history is also fascinating. We enjoyed it here. The gardens are particularly beautiful.
We had a great family day out here, the house is beautiful and full of amazing artifacts, and all manner of priceless treasures. I enjoyed the Solomon's temple exhibit, interesting to see how it may have looked in it's original form. The grounds looked incredible with the autumn colours, and walking around a finding little hidden details was interesting. The outdoor cafe next to the gift shop had lovely, tasty food and drinks available. The gift shop was very pleasant aswell. Every interaction we had with the people working/volunteering there was very positive. Thankyou for a great time.
Beautifully kept manor. Lovely to walk around. Kids can run free and have a look at the birds. Kids also have a nice playground to go in. The whole place is pushchair friendly. There is a steep slope down to the play area and stables bit. The shuttle bus is great if you don’t like too much walking. Car park was spacious. Great day!
I think this was my most enjoyable National Trust visit. One of many Rothschild properties in the area but must be the jewel in the crown. A very good tour round the house King Louis writing desk and so much more it was just amazing. The grounds were also extensive and very beautiful

It was Father’s Day when we visited and my husband was in second heaven. He didn’t want to leave. Lots to see in the train museum, book shop and on the platform there was a historic bike display. Good food and a chance to go on a short ride on Thomas the Tank engine. What more could a train enthusiast need?
Visited to see Wightwick Hall running on the Steam weekend. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Lots of engines to see around the site. Visited the museum, lots to see in there. Had a ride on the miniature railway. The cafe was very nice for lunch. Had a very enjoyable day here and well worth the drive from Sussex.
Where do I start, First of all the day out is worth every penny, the staff and everyone were super friendly. We enjoyed a Thomas and Friends day here where we got to ride on 2 different steam trains (Thomas and Percy) and enjoy all Thomas activities from dancing shows to craft activities. The model train rides were also great fun and the kids had a blast. There is also a very reasonable priced cafe in the main centre with loads of train related toys for the kids to keep them busy. There even was a steam tractor-trailer ride which the kids loved. Will definitely be back again in the near future, Thanks Bucks Railway Centre
A fantastic museum, run and looked after by very friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and interesting volunteers. The full site is sizeable, with a huge amount of exhibits both inside and outside. For the best experience a visit on one of the steaming days is highly recommended, but the café and shop are open most days and are a delight in themselves.
Fantastic day out, great value for money. Museum opens at 1030 and first train departs at 11am. Steam train ride lasts around 17minutes but you can do it as many times as you like. Museum well laid out and informative. Cafe reasonably priced £6 for 2 hot drinks, £5 for two ice creams.
We have been coming to the Railway centre for many years and have watched it get better and better. It is a must for any transport enthusiasts and especially train fans of course. Lots to see and do for all ages. Loads of historic info for adults and older children and plenty to do for little ones as well. Miniature train rides are a great addition. Plenty of food and drink on offer especially on event days. We came back for Auto Fest which was a classic vehicle event. Loads of interesting cars and vehicles attended and there was Live music and morris dancers. Great day out for families and people who like nostalgic days out.
Great museum with lots to see. Little train running today so wonderful little ride for the kids. Large steam train running too so nice little run back and forth in the line. Plenty of information to help you along the way. Well worth a visit.
An excellent day out can be had here. Friendly staff, interesting stuff to see and do. Kids love it but as an adult there is much to see too.

Fab experience - we loved our time at Abbotts View. From our warm welcome on arrival, meeting the male alpacas and walking them, feeding the females and also the ducks and goats and then finishing the visit with a delicious brownie and a coffee. Awesome!
Went back in May as a treat for my 21st birthday and had an amazing time! The staff are friendly and the experience is so unique. They teach you how to correctly handle the alpacas plus you get to have a snack and a drink in the cafe after included in your tickets. We took our alpacas for a short walk around, then we fed some alpacas too. I would definitely go again. If you're after a one of a kind experiences, this is for you!
Great experience, very well organised Carol and Sarah were really friendly and knowledgable. We walked Sir Keith he was lovely and walked well.We then fed the female Alpacas and goats before ending the day with hot chocolate and a cake.😋We would really recommend.
What a fabulous couple of hours. Sarah and Alice were fabulous with the group and super knowledgeable about the Alpacas. Lovely walk with Freckles followed by feeding the ducks and the females and a little chat with the goats. Top it off with a lovely cup of tea and a bit of lemon drizzle cake and you've got a perfect way to spend a couple of hours. We will be back, probably with the rest of the family!
A totally fantastic experience, from start to finish. James and Jo were both very welcoming and knowledgeable on these wonderful Alpacas 😊😊 That’s for a perfect day ❤️ Gilly and Mike
Fabulous day spent with the alpacas followed by a cuppa and cake. Extremely well organised with lovely people and fabulous friendly alpacas. Very clean, highly recommended five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I booked this place for my 12yr old birthday, she really enjoyed taking Jay-Z (one of the Alpaca's 🤣) around the walking route. The things I liked about this place 1. Each person gets a hot drink and cake afterwards (bonus point 🤪) 2. It's well worth the money 3. The Alpacas are very very friendly and funny especially while out walking 4. I liked how younger children can walk the Alpacas but obviously with adults beside them 5. I paid for 1 Alpaca but they gave me 1 to walk also, I'm guessing it's because they didn't have a full time slot and gave me the spare one (another bonus point 🤪) 6. Plenty of photo opportunities The list goes on, I would definitely recommend this place especially for children.
Absolutely amazing experience. It was a Christmas present for my daughter but due to covid it was delayed. The staff are amazing and informative and very loving towards the gorgeous Alpacas. We will most definitely be returning.

Had a great afternoon with some cute companions. You can see that the animals are taken good care of. Peaceful place, friendly staff, delicious homemade food...and goats - the perfect way to spend a Sunday. 🐐🦙🐇😊❤️
Pleasant visit during Easter. You can circle the whole place in 40min easily but if you want to visit leisurely 1hr is enough. Wish there were more ‘fact sign board’ about the animals. Plenty of goats and they were super active, wish there were more of the other animals or more variety. Cafe staff super lovely and can see they care about service. I recommend their chips
LOVE this place to come with small children. The white fox Jasper is beautiful. We were told to throw the food in for the pigs, which we did & loved watching them sniffling it all up. The goats were very gentle taking the food from the children - they use their lips to almost suck it up & the kids LOVED feeding them & the alpaca too. Fabulous way to spend a long morning with small children. We loved the rabbits & the chickens too. Brilliant sandpit & ride on toys too. Friendly staff. Good picnic area. Highly recommend.
Very good small goat centre. Not too far for little ones and old ones to walk but see a selection of animals including the grumpy pigs I have recently met. The kids will love it. Don't forget to call in the cafe. It's not exactly fast but everything we tried was excellent. The coronation chicken Baguette lasted me for two meals.
The best place to go for a cute date, family day out, or just when you’re feeling down and need to see some cute goats! The prices are reasonable, there’s a cafe and play area for kids, the staff are all really friendly. You can feed the goats, and there’s also chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, an alpaca, ducks and pigs.
Lovely little gem of a place! Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. They’re also very understanding of supporting neurodivergent needs as they run SEN sessions there. We had a lovely hot chocolate and cakes in the café before we left—all round a really nice visit. I’d add though, that this is a great place to visit as long as your expectations are aligned with what it actually is before coming. This isn’t a large farm park with lots of other offerings, it’s what it says it is: a goat centre! (It even has a famous goat from the movie Wicked.) They do have some other animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, an alpaca, ferrets, chickens and a beautiful fox) and some small play equipment, but it is mainly goats and wouldn’t take a huge amount of time to walk around if all you’re interested in doing is just noting that you’ve seen everything then moving on. The entry fee is pretty cheap, but if you want real value from this place, I really recommend booking the mini experiences as we did, where for £20 each (which includes entry to the centre) the farm staff will take you into the enclosures for 20 minutes (you can choose to do this with the goats or some of the other animals are options too) and tell you all about them, let you feed them and (in the case of the goats) brush and stroke them up close. My husband also went in to meet the fox! The money all goes towards supporting the centre and the work they do, so it was well spent for us.
Staff are amazing, friendly and flexible in accommodating younger children. Entry is fairly priced for what is available. There are a few different breeds of goat, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and an alpaca. Ducks and chickens were roaming around. Quite fun for children. Plenty of space for the animals and you can feed them. Lunch space is quite small if the weather is bad, the children's play area is lacking a bit, although you go for interacting with the animals, which was great!
Lovely little farm with adorable goats of all shapes, colours, and sizes, plus some other animals. Friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced cafe serving sandwiches, paninis, cakes, snacks, drinks, etc. Large free car park.

Amazing place! Great to show kids around and familiarise them with some wildlife. Please note kids have to be respectful in this place as it does have young, sick and injured animals in there. Please dot get bits and bobs from the gift shop to support them! They are doing great job! I couldn't recommend them high enough :)
Beautiful institution, lovely place, perfect for a family visit or to cheer up a wifey who needs 10ccs of cute animals stat
On a chilly, blustery day, this was our first visit to Tiggywinkles. Such devoted, caring and knowledgeable staff. All the animals are so well cared for, all have names lol, a really pleasurable visit. Thank you for your kindness and happy smiling faces
My mother and I visited on Thursday (10/07/25) for a morning visit, after my younger sister has been with her partner two years ago and recommended it to me! My favourite part was the museum where they had the posters and a clip of the road safety hedgehogs, that's a blast from the past! 🦔 It's all donation based! To help take care of all the animals which is good 😁 it's a lovely place, well worth the visit! I LOVED the zip wire in the play area, and I just loved the venue itself it's very nice and there are lovely staff as well, I will want to come back again after a lovely experience, my mum enjoyed herself too!! The butterfly garden was lovely as well, I enjoyed seeing that 🦋👩🏻‍🌾 and the wildlife hospital we could see through the windows and we saw the cutest baby bunny ever!!! Eating pellets and greens, it was very nice, but the hospital and seeing poorly wildlife animals can be triggering for some people! - it's well worth the visit if you haven't been already🤍
We loved our visit to Tiggywinkles today. It was my mother in law's wish to see a hedgehog for the first time and Lee was super helpful in showing us Orchid the hedgehog. As we travelled from Australia, I emailed with Adam beforehand to make sure we would be able to see what we wanted and he was super helpful, even giving us tips on how to get the train from London. This place is great. Good fascilities too with a little gift shop, some snacks, and toilets.
Amazing place. Such a great charity and really great place to visit for few hours. Loads of hedgehogs to see and plenty of passionate staff. One of favourite bits is the hedgehog museum - a real one off.
Great place to visit, would recommend. Staff very friendly and informative, special shoutout to Grace who gave the hedgehog talk
Small venue but very endearing and a lovely atmosphere. The staff are completely dedicated doing a fantastic job. The play park is great for kids and has a zip wire for bigger kids and swings and tide on toys for toddlers. Was amazing seeing the baby squirrels being fed. 2-3 hour visit is perfect

I had the most wonderful evening at Coombe Hill with my friends who are all Aylesbury locals and recommended the site for our picnic. Safe to say, I was blown away by just how jaw-dropping the views are at the top. The sunset we watched was one of the best I’ve ever seen as you can see for several miles in the distance. It was nice and peaceful too, with barely any other people present. I look forward to coming back again soon 🫶
Great walk up to the boer monument from Tring although views impacted by HS2 scarring and detour via a new bridge. If u ignore the engineering works it’s spectacular.
Love it here... beautiful views, open spaces and great trails.
It’s an incredible place for hiking with some breathtaking views. You can do a number of circular hikes in this area - from a short to medium long ones, starting from the train station. Cattle wandering around is just another good reason to come and enjoy the nature.
Have been to Coombe Hill several times during the summer for picnics from London, dressing up and generally walking around taking photos.
Stunning local walk. Love coming here for an afternoon hike or when I’m training for steeper hikes. Stunning. Highly recommended. Be wary that the hill is steep and can be slippery after rain.
A beautiful walk. The views are breath taking, you can see for miles on a clear day. And the Monument is really cool to see in person.
Amazing view just a short walk from the car park. The circular route has a decent path that’s suitable for a buggy for the most parts. The only downside is the car park is too small and one has to wait or get into a fist fight with chavs to secure a space.

We visited for lunch after seeing the Facebook posts on our village page, and it was amazing! Lovely selection of wonderful food, very reasonably priced and delicious! The service was fantastic and we will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you!
Disappointing Experience I was really looking forward to visiting this farm shop based on the photos I saw on Google. It looked like a well-stocked place with fresh meats, bread, and a variety of farm products. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment when we arrived. There was no butcher section at all. Just a few bread rolls wrapped in plastic, some jars of honey and jam, and nothing that felt special or local. In the fridge, there were a few sausage rolls and some pastries, but again, nothing remarkable. I ordered a coffee and two babyccinos, which were actually quite decent. I also ordered two fritters for the kids, but those were completely forgotten. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I asked about them, and they realized they had forgotten to serve them and just took them out of the fridge. When I asked if they could warm them up a little, they said they couldn't because they contained egg. But they were so cold the kids couldn’t eat them, and after the long wait, we didn’t have time to let them warm up naturally—so we had to return them. Maybe we just came on a bad day and things usually run more smoothly, but for us, it was a disappointing visit.
Got a very good sized pitch, very ideal location. Cafe on site which was very nice. Good staff and surrounded by fields and greenery. Planning to come back in December time !
Nice camp site, mainly camping but with a few motorhome pitches. Not all the facilities were open when we stayed. Appeared popular with families with children. Lots of space to walk the dogs and helpful staff.
Don't bother popping in for a breakfast at the weekends like they advertise. All the tables are reserved by the hipster, Patagonia wearing 'campers' that are outside. If you can be bothered to stay, you will receive the wrong order, the food will be cold and the food is average. It used to be so much better. I think they're a victim of their own success and have let the standards slip. They also seem to have a high turnover of staff. Hmmm
Only visited the café and it was nice, good coffee, cakes looked good but resisted! What really impressed me was the sourdough bread on sale (made by Luka, age 17!). I bought some and will be returning for more! As for 'farm shop' I wouldn't agree, they only seemed to have potatoes, but do have local beers, and 'gift shop' items.
Was a really lovely stay for a few nights, pitch size is decent and well kept, toilets and showers were also on point and clean. Cafe was also brilliant!
Came here for the farm shop breakfast Of the bat the table was sticky. The glasses on the side to have some water were dirty, I believe this was probably limescale from the hard water but was very off putting. My breakfast overall was nice, however my partner was upset that he was served hard fried eggs.

My toddler and I attended a Thursday Discover Ducks Museum, snow as a theme. We both had an amazing time doing arts and crafts, playing with toys and listening to the story. The staff are polite and friendly. Lovely conversation with Dara/Tara - sorry for misspelling =[ A nice day out away from where we live. Will come again =]
Fantastic museum! The staff were very helpful and the exhibits were brilliant. Notably the sci-fi section and the Roald Dahl section. The "Hoard" collection of coins, coins of King Cnut and Ethelred the unready were astounding, the sheer number of coins is breathtaking. Well worth a return visit
Lovely little gem of a local museum. The main galleries are excellent for a brief foray into archaeology and the natural world. The Roald Dahl side museum is such fun with lots of interactive elements, plenty to keep you busy whilst engaging with underlying learning.
What a gem of a place! Fantastic for all the family. My daughter (7) loved the Roald Dahl galleries, my son (12) was fascinated by the fossils and ancient artefacts in the main galleries and my husband absolutely loved the Star Wars toys exhibition - we spent 2 hours here and could have spent longer. The sensory room for little ones is great. We all enjoyed looking at the Tudor house and playing the old games. Absolutely recommend. Kids got in free with their blue Peter badges too!
I use a wheelchair and I was made to feel very welcome. The exhibition I wanted to see was on the first floor, so a member of staff showed me to the lift. I had a great time. I would definitely visit again.
I have been twice to the museum this year. Once in summer ( great air con ) and recently for mini elves Christmas event. Both times it was brilliant. My daughter is 4 next month and although she doesn’t quite understand most of the experiments and things on show she still really enjoys herself. The feel the force during summer was particularly fun for her. During summer the enclosed garden with games is also a big hit. The Christmas event is a hidden gem too. For £5 you got so much included compared to other things and I would much prefer this to a grotto visit. We received snack for both of us and drinks too. The staff were also really engaging with the children especially during story time and crafts. It is a perfect place to come to in town to escape the heat 🥵or cold 🥶 and peace and quiet!
What a lovely place to spend a morning! Such a variety of things to look at and interact with. And toys on the lawn so the children can have a play. The staff were lovely and tickets not too expensive. We loved the Roald Dahl and the Sci Fi Props exhibitions.
Discover Bucks Museum offers a delightful journey through history with a standout Ronald Dahl section and an impressive temporary 1980s exhibit. While compact, it packs in plenty of intriguing history. The only downside? It’s a tad pricey. Overall, a charming and educational experience.

We visited on Monday 3rd Feb with my daughters school as part of a class of 30 children. This place is fantastic and the hospitality we received was incredible. Ceri is absolutely fantastic! We found her super enthusiastic and thoroughly entertaining; even us adult helpers got stuck in with all the activities ! The whole team made us feel very welcome and we learned loads of hidden gems about Roald Dahl. Highly recommend for old and young alike.
My daughter had an amazing birthday party early this year. The lady in charge of events went above and beyond to make it the best birthday party ever. The children had a lot of fun and they enjoyed exploring the museum and boogie in the separate event room after. I highly recommend for all Roald Dahl enthusiasts.
Visited with young family. Lovely welcome from informative and pleasant staff. Roald Dahl museum was lovely with loads of hands on and interesting things for children to investigate. We paid at the door. Went on to the museum which is situated in the same area but a different building. Lots of interesting information. There was a Star Wars Exhibition, Children's dressing up, a lovely embroidery exhibition, some interactive exhibitions and a lovely playroom for the children, full of toys to play with and explore. Very enjoyable .
Nice little place and little being the main word here, can literally walk through in 5-10 minutes. Was worth going but can't say I'd be going again, some items not working so can't interact with them and just seems a bit run down with items missing ect
I could not be happier with our experience at The Roald Dahl Gallery! We had a little bit of trouble getting here as we don’t live near. When I rang the Roald Dahl Gallery and explained the situation (Sam) Was very polite and understanding on the phone and happily still showed us around when the gallery closed. I came here with a 6 year old boy (Wilf) who has autism and also non-verbal. The support they give him when we walked in was brilliant. They have sensory bags which provide sensory toys and headphones and more. The engagement and communication Sam gave to him was so lovely even if he didn’t get a response. Sam Chose to stay behind to show Wilf around ,let alone he didn’t have to as it was closing time. I couldn’t be more happier with the experience we had and how lovely staff are here. I really recommend this for anyone. Sam really made our day and showed a lot of loving and support. Thank you Sam!!
This was a fantastic day out with my 8 year old son. I was pleasantly surprised by how much there was to do. We thoroughly enjoyed the science exhibition which housed lots of hands on experiments, suitable for all ages. There were large magnets, electrical conductivity, centrifugal force and many more to play with. There was a museum of Buckinghamshire history, which was small, but well put together showcasing a range of finds from the county. A darkened sensory room (probably better for littler ones). The Roald Dahl gallery was brilliant. My (autistic) son was a little freaked out by some of the noise machines and dark spaces in here, but overcame this once he interacted with the exhibits and realised it was a lot of fun! Outside the café was a seating area and they'd filled the garden with stuff for kids to do. Water play, sand, musical instruments, a giant marble run. It was lovely sat outside here whilst the kids went off and played together, a good distance to keep an eye but not interfere. Cafe made a good cup of tea. Spent a good 3.5 hrs there and could have spent longer. Wish I'd taken more photos!
Celebrated a child's birthday party here recently. A great day with lots of happy kids coming out the other end. The party room was spacious and well arranged for 15-20 kids with parents too. Kitchen and dedicated toilets just around the corner, a little dated, but clean. A quick trip between the room (in the museum, many kids quite enjoyed the walk through) and the gallery and the magic really started. The kids absolutely loved it. Parents bemused that they never knew it existed and how great it was. Staff were lovely all round and very helpful throughout. An easy 5 stars.
This place is a treasure trove for young kids, especially kids with SEN. They offer regulation packets for autistic children, the rooms are very sensory and autism friendly, and it’s not often very busy. There is loads to do! Staff are also very welcoming and understanding.

Lovely selection of decent ales in cans, kegs and bottles plus a few treats made with the ales. Small, friendly shop. Bit of a trek but well worth a visit.
Visited for the tour & tasting. Small group, really informative and personable, learnt a lot about the art of brewing and this fantastic small family business. Great beers and a lovely shop worth visiting just for itself.
Visited the brewery shop. Fantastic beer, with free samples of the cask beers. Loads of canned beers together with a great range of English sourced spirits and liqueurs. Highly recommended.
Great beer. Love the mini kegs. Try before you buy and pick up some meat for the bbq a bonus!
I love the Chiltern Brewery. I have been buying their beer for years. Lovely place, friendly staff and brilliant beer! What's not to like? They also run the Kings Head pub in Aylesbury which is my favourite Olde Worlde pub.
I can't tell you how much I love this brand and how great this Brewery shop is, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. I love the fact that you can buy takeaway draught beer. I also did the Brewery tour a few years back what was great fun. Oh and I definitely recommend buying a jar of pickled onions. 100% definitely worth a visit.
Excellent brewery and shop. First class service with knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit if you enjoy real ale, free samples to try before you buy.
Very friendly and helpful staff. I was given samples if the various beers on offer in order to assist with my choice. Beers are excellent too. I came away with three different types in varying quantities. We had a barrel of Chiltern Black at our wedding reception and it always makes me think of that day. Despite that, it's still one of my favourite beers. 😃

We were visiting from St Albans and saw quite mixed reviews. I was totally flattered with different equipments given for children to play with.. Bouncers to rock for babies. Lovely hot food specially the vegan wrap. Delicious. Plenty of seating and clean play area. Absolutely lovely staff. Highly recommend.
Not happy, purchased from kids menue and did not receive quantities advertised.(6 nuggets advertised received 4) Also communication is atrocious when i complained.. This place has gone down hill, not clean and things are falling apart, dangerious screws exposed, not safe. The staff are all hiding behind the counter with no monitoring of the play areas.
Went for grandson Charlie's 6th Birthday. You get 45 minutes play time followed by some games and food in a room upstairs. A good time was had by all the kids, could do with some seating for adults.
Dear Zoomania, I’m writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent children's party at your venue. As a parent, I was appalled by the blatant disregard for both environmental responsibility and children's health displayed throughout the event. The party bags were a glaring example of environmental negligence. Filled entirely with single-use plastic items, all of which were non-recyclable, these bags not only contribute to the escalating plastic pollution crisis but also set a poor example for the children present. It's disheartening to see such practices in a setting that should be fostering awareness and responsibility. The environmental impact of single-use plastics is well-documented, and as a community-focused establishment, I expected better. Equally concerning was the food provided. The menu consisted solely of ultra-processed items—chips, pizza, and chicken nuggets—with no vegetables in sight. This type of diet, high in sugar, salt, and unhealthy fats, is linked to various health issues, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases in children. It's troubling to see such choices being offered to young children, who are at a critical stage in developing their eating habits. As a parent and a member of the community, I urge you to reconsider these practices. The choices made at your establishment have a lasting impact on the children who attend. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to provide a healthier, more environmentally responsible experience for all. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, A very concerned local Mum
Pros: fairly cheap compared to others locally though there is the option to pay with Tesco clubcard vouchers at local competitors. Food reasonable for what you pay for, if a bit slow in busy times. Staff good at telling kids to get out of the toddler area (though it'd be nice if their parents could, you know... Parent.) Cons: parking is rubbish, the spaces are tiny and mostly around the corner. This leads to people parking in the disabled spaces without blue badges. Cleanliness... Leaves A LOT to be desired. I'd be surprised if they do more than a cursory wipe down once a day, if that, from the state of what I saw today. There were areas that hadn't seen a hoover in a very long time. Everything is sticky and a bit grim. Upkeep: this place looks tired and run-down, the soft floor mats are coming away in parts of the ground floor sections and there are areas in the toddler section that are just unsafe around the fire exit door. There are loads of baby toys but most are broken or missing pieces. The slides: don't seem to slide? Maybe because they're not cleaned, maybe because they're old, I don't know but my just under 3 year old couldn't slide down them without having to scoot part of the way, nor could I, you basically seem to stick to them. The only slide he could actually slide down was the red slide into the ball pit. Lighting: I don't know if it's intentional but it's just very dark and dingy in places, I didn't enjoy trying to follow my child around at all.
very rude staff called Nadia. She doesnt know how to speak to children and staff. her welcoming was rude. She wouldnt even accept my childs voucher code on the phone wanted A4 paper. awful behaviour she had.
A fun place to spend time with your kids. Lots of soft play area , a soft basketball area and few slides. The cafe inside serves great meal and nice hot/cold beverages. There’s a party hall upstairs looks fun with all flashing lights. Could get really busy at peak times and I ended up standing for more than an hour waiting for a table/ chair while the little one was having fun.
Was about to book a party ,but after reading how the trainee staff are treated i will give it a miss! Lot of 1 star ratings ! Shame!

Fantastic views, some great walks and the Dexter cows are so cute. There is a lovely pub The Pheasant close by too. Well worth a visit.
Visiting Hartwell's Barn and the nearby iconic Brill Windmill was an enjoyable experience, blending history and stunning views. The barn, which is under preservation efforts, reflects the charm of the countryside and highlights the importance of conserving heritage sites. The poster campaign to save this historic landmark was inspiring, emphasizing community involvement to maintain the beauty of this area. The windmill itself is a true gem, set against the rolling green landscape. It's well-maintained and offers a glimpse into the past, making it an excellent spot for history enthusiasts. The serene surroundings and panoramic views of the countryside provide a perfect opportunity for photography or simply soaking in the peaceful ambiance. While the windmill and the barn are rich in history, the weathered state of some areas could be a concern for long-term preservation. Overall, it's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates historical architecture and tranquil settings.
Brill Windmill, a post mill, has a history dating back to the 1680s. It was originally built to grind grain into flour for the local community and remained in operation until 1919. The mill is a significant example of early wind-powered technology and has been restored and maintained by various entities, including the Brill Society. Who doesn't love a windmill, small free car park and brilliant views.
Visited Brill Windmill at sunset and the view was spectacular. Plenty of parking, peaceful surroundings, and stunning scenery all around. We really enjoyed our evening and highly recommend a visit.
A nice place to visit for peace and quiet and a little walk. Don't forget to have something in the pub there too
The village of Brill is a lovely place to visit. Brill Common and windmill is a nice area to walk and look at the views. The windmill in a post mill with 17th century origins. There is car parking and a pub on the common. There are local shops close.
Beautiful windmill in a peaceful village. The view is amazing and it's a lovely place for a nice walk.
We visited on a Saturday, it was drizzly but still lovely views even if a little hazy. Very quiet due to the weather (and not a day when the actual windmill is open to visitors)

I had the pleasure of visiting this establishment for the second time today, and I must say, it continues to exceed my expectations. The staff is exceptional, demonstrating remarkable friendliness and helpfulness. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by several smiling and cheerful individuals who promptly offered me a delightful cup of tea. They even extended the same courtesy to my nine-year-old daughter, who thoroughly enjoyed her tea and managed to acquire some biscuits from a nearby table. The ambiance of the place is remarkable, catering to aviation enthusiasts, art enthusiasts, and most notably, the esteemed veterans who are invited to grace the premises. These veterans are more than willing to sign any items that visitors may bring along. Additionally, the occasional presence of iconic war birds, such as the Mustang and Spitfire, ensures that both Mustang and Spitfire enthusiasts will find something to their liking. Since the passing of my grandfather, a distinguished D-Day veteran, in 2023, I have endeavored to meet as many veterans as possible. Through the events held at Aces High Gallery, I have had the privilege of meeting numerous veterans and gaining valuable insights into their experiences. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to join the esteemed Aces High team at future events, and my 9 year old daughter shares my enthusiasm for attending more of these gatherings.... she absolutely loves meeting the veterans! I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Aces High Gallery to anyone who has not yet had the pleasure. Their collection is truly remarkable, and the welcoming atmosphere ensures that visitors leave feeling enriched and fulfilled by their time spent there.
Aces High hosted several WW2 veterans, including Col Joseph Peterburs, at a signing for a print made of his airplane he flew in the war. Every member of the staff was a perfect professional and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming even to an American like myself. They are also open to commissioning work.
Just received my absolutely gorgeous customized Richard Taylor print. This already beautiful print was further enhanced by Richard with images honuoring my 2 Great Uncle's service with Bomber Command during WW2. Custom framework is fantastic. Caroline and Mark were both great to talk to and will definitely be doing more business with them.
Had a great day at Aces High and it was breathtaking to see a Spitfire and Dakota fly past .
Amazing gallery and the best staff ever!!! Full of amazing art and artifacts!! Tell em Rob sent ya!!!
I ordered a print and it turned up in no time at all, it was perfectly packed and was super secure. Will absolutely order another print or visit the gallery in the near future, there was a little issue along the way but Caroline was incredible on the phone and absolutely cannot fault their customer service! Wholeheartedly recommend and will be telling everyone about them 👌
Interesting place especially if like aviation things.look out for open days/ shows.worth a look
Good morning Team, Just wanted to say a huge Thank You for one of the best days our family had experienced! What a superb day from start to finish. The whole staff answered a lot of our questions regarding the artwork and other items that were in the gallery, all so pleasant and approachable. To meet the amazing veterans and listen to there stories was a chance not to miss, so special. To see ‘Miss Helen’ in all its glory was one experience too good to miss, our Grandson loved the plane and was excited to meet John Dodd who was happy to have a photo with him. And to see Miss Helen take off, was a treat to behold. You all worked so, so hard, it was, I am sure fully appreciated by all who did attend. Thank you all again, Kind Regards Penny

'Earthly Messenger,' a bronze sculpture of David Bowie sculpted by Andrew Sinclair and unveiled in 2018. Speakers mounted above the life-size piece play a Bowie song every hour. Important to visit for any Bowie fan or music lover. "Pushing through the Market Square - so many mothers sighing (Sighing)"
Lovely little dedication to Ziggy. Plays a random song every hour.
Such an amazing discovery tucked away under the arches. His music plays out of speakers in there and the statue is beautiful. There should be more statues to our Bowie, one of the most important musicians Britain has ever produced.
Came down from Liverpool just to see this statue as my mum loves David Bowie. Was well worth the 3.5 hour drive! It's amazing!
Great to see a bronze memorial to this great musician. A webcam is available.
Well worth the visit not a lot to see but if your passing take a look photos below 👇
Was there for the unveiling. Fantastic statue. Nice area, plenty of places to eat, drink and shop.

Been to comedy evenings here and you get to see some really good acts! Good value for money too!
Daughter completed an intro to pottery using air dry clay. She absolutely loved. The group was small and instruction kept at a younger pupil level, she listened and completed her piece....It's drying now for a couple of days, then she'll paint it I highly rate this over spending a load of money in the pottery painting shops!
My first visit to this amazing centre. Warmly welcomed, lovely cafe and had my first taste of pop art with the very talented, friendly and super helpful Guy. I will certainly return. Thank you xx
Really lovely, arts centre, largely run by volunteers who all seem very friendly. There's a nice and very reasonably priced, little cafe too.
A lovely intimate venue where you're close to the performers
This a a wonderfully creative space, with the opportunity to try out crafts of many different types and also to disply and sell your own expertise. Highly recommended.
it was okay, music was fantastic, but the place was extremely hot inside
