We came here for a 1 night break this week and we had a lovely relaxing time. We had a lovely welcome and the offer to take our bags to the room. There's several lounge rooms to sit and read or just to chill out. Dinner was delicious with lots of choice on the menu. Service was spot on and the food was amazing. Our room was clean and full of character with lots of lovely touches. The bed was very comfy and had a really good night's sleep. The breakfast was amongst the best I've had. Really good quality ingredients and perfectly cooked. The grounds are nice for a stroll, it's more of a parkland garden and great for wildlife. The spa is a lovely relaxing place with a great pool to chill or do some lengths. I had a massage with was so therapeutic, although a little overpriced.

Had a great spa morning followed by a treatment. The spa area including the pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna was really well kept and we had a lovely time alternating between the various facilities. The massage after was especially good and a highlight of the trip.

Not just another stately home turned hotel. Hartwell House has genuine royal history (English and French). We enjoyed an incredible roast duck dinner with a fine selection of wines and an excellent breakfast. With notice, our gluten issues were seamlessly handled (even the biscuits on the in room coffee tray were gluten free). After a relaxing afternoon in the spa pool and hot tub, we wandered down the driveway to a pub for dinner - but that’s for another review.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this historic hotel which is set in grounds with several lovely walks. Our rooms which weren’t the highest standard offered , were huge.and furnished in an interesting manner. They were all different. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent and the service was impeccable. The salons, library and sitting areas were all available for our use and some had lovely views. The assistant manager gave us an excellent introductory tour.

We visited yesterday for Afternoon Tea for my birthday. Absolutely beautiful afternoon and such a pleasant experience. The food was amazing and the views were stunning. A special mention to Ethan who looked after us. He was phenomenal at his job - extremely smart, polite and so knowledgeable about Hartwell House. He offered us to look round the grounds so we took extra time going for a walk after our food. Highly recommend

The staff were so attentive and kind. My mother really enjoyed her afternoon tea and was made to feel very welcome. Brilliant service and of course the cakes were delicious. Would definitely recommend.

I didn't stay on this occasion. This is a stunning property close to home. We typically come for a massage, afternoon tea, and sometimes both. They do exceedingly good gluten-free sandwiches, scones, and tarts. Please book in advance for allergen concerns Highly recommended

We come here regularly because the food is so delicious and such big portion sizes! it’s also very suitable for children, a huge variety of meals and snacks. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices, thankyou for great food compliments to the chef!

Spent £17.30 on a terrible breakfast and an okay Latte. Absolutely awfully cooked food. Rushed onto a plate by a rushed chef when it wasn't even busy. Nightmare for paying so much for hard eggs, bacon and sausage. They over cooked all the food and somehow undercooked the hash browns. Worst plate of food I've had all year and also most expensive. Don't bother with this place unless like most of the customers you don't have taste buds anymore. Trash.

Lovely cafe, effective menu, quick service and amazing staff. The food was served promptly and the overal experience was great. Would highly reccommend.

I would not recommend this place to anybody with the price charged for very average food. £6.90 for a 4 item breakfast baguette that was a cheap part baked roll and half the baguette had next to nothing in it because of 3 rashers of bacon and 1 egg halved. £13.90 for an American style breakfast with 1 sausage, 1 egg, 2 hash browns and 1 bacon....3 cheap small pancakes with a quartered strawberry and 4 blueberries!! Someone tell when the great british fry up became the new dinner/evening meal? I should be able to get a cooked breakfast for £9 and have 2 of each of the core items.

Best cafe in Aylesbury for breakfast, good portions cooked well and great value!

Been to this cafe plenty of times, but came today and it has been refurbished. Looks amazing inside with comfy seats, very friendly staff and great breakfast 😊

How civilized at a train station! Lovely rustic. Wooden tables very friendly staff. If you have a spare half hour before you train spend it here. Possibly one time visit only as I live in New Zealand but worth the time

Had a Coffee while waiting for train to London. Ordered a Latte. Decent coffee. Good quick service from the friendly South African lady. Nice experience.

We had lunch here and everything was very tasty and the man who served us was a delight. When we returned later for a coffee, he remembered us and gave us a bonus croissant seeing as it was near closing time. Nice atmosphere, very convenient for the station, tasty food and coffee.

The owner (Simon) can’t seem to stop sharing his anti-union, anti-worker agendas online. He seems upset that rail workers stand up for their rights, which directly affects his little business on the platforms. You make coffee for a living, and probably offer awful pay and terms to your employees, keep your political views away.

Amazing coffee and lovely customer service.

I visit here during monthly work trips but on this visit the lady at the counter really stood out. Loneta, was really friendly and gave great service. What stood out for me was the smell of home baking, which Loneta showed me the cakes she had just baked. They looked amazing and smell great so I of course had to buy one. Absolutely delicious. This is a great place for coffee and cake, even if you're not getting a train and Loneta is an amazing staff member, huge credit to Little Italy.

Average McDonald's. No receipt from order kiosk. 4 kiosks. Food nice enough. Lady was cleaning. Not so pleased that a young customer was vaping at their table. Accessible bathroom available downstairs.

I ordered some breakfast for me and family and when I was eating my breakfast wrap, i chewed some eggshell which made me feel disgusted. Complained online but need to wait a few days for a solution.

I’ve always found McDonald’s to be one of the more consistent chains when it comes to service - largely because of how selective they’ve historically been with their franchisees. You walk in, you order, and you’re eating within minutes. That’s the model. So I was genuinely surprised to find a branch that felt more like a family-run café than part of a global fast food empire. The staff seemed to be prioritising delivery orders to such an extent that, despite no in-branch orders being ahead of us, it took nearly ten minutes for each one to be prepared. That made things awkward - I was with two others, and the first person had finished eating before the last of us had even sat down. Not ideal. I don’t usually single people out, but one staff member in particular seemed unable to complete any part of the job without assistance. It meant other team members had to keep stopping what they were doing to help her, which I suspect was one of the main reasons service was so slow. If you’re in a rush, I’d probably give this one a miss.

Worst fries ever ordered multiple times through just eat. Always get uncooked or lightly cooked fries. Please cook them extra minute or two. They’re not golden. Hoping to see improvements next time I order!!!!

Ultra processed fast food. If you are happy to eat food that is slowly killing you, supplied by a company that puts profit before the environment and fails to protect its workers from abuse, this is the place for you.

Ordered a breakfast in store, waited 30 minutes fir order. The gentleman prepping the foid was more interested in getting the delivery orders rather than the in store orders. Multiple people were complaining, some customers had waited longer than me. Watched my hotvdrinks hectried to serve me sitting onbthe sidecthecwhole time. Never going again. Fast food...what a joke!

Service was lovely. Environment was cosy. Menu choices were good. Options are not expensive. Hash browns needed to be more crispy, and the sausages are bland (perhaps change the brand) Guacamole was made to order and needed salt, but took a long time. Something like this can be premade in the morning. Smoothie made fresh and was easy to drink. Would recommend for a cheap brunch!

This coffee shop exceeded all expectations. The food was exceptional, the staff attentive and kind, and the decor perfectly balanced comfort and style. Every detail from the atmosphere to the service made for an outstanding visit. I’ll definitely be returning soon.

We had a wonderful visit to The Coffee Tree! The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel welcome. The place has a really stylish and cozy vibe, perfect for relaxing with a coffee. It was also great to see how family-friendly it was — our kids were made to feel so welcome. They shared the chocolate pancake & berry's which they loved. A lovely spot all around — we’ll definitely be back!

This place is now under new management, and I must say—it’s such a wonderful change! The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and stylish, making it feel warm and inviting while still modern and chic. The staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which really makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. And the food—OMG—it’s absolutely delicious! Every dish is full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with care. I left feeling completely satisfied and already excited to come back. I have eaten here 5 times in the last month and I can’t get enough. The food is so good, highly recommend the goats cheese salad!! Great coffee, lovely staff. It’s my go too now. Lovely family run place.

Nice friendly staff and clean cafe. Breakfast was nice but a couple adjustments could be made. For example sauces and salt and pepper should be placed on all the tables as well as menus. Only had a couple menu's by the till which isn't very useful and I would prefer to be able to look through the menu at own leisure. Would revist to try other items.

As my Dad would call it, ‘A Greasy Spoon’. A tradee and English breakfast place. You know what you’re going to get. Pleasant staff, fair service and an English breakfast. If that’s why you’re going, as I do, then go. If you’re expecting something more, then don’t. I had sausages and beans. I’d liked for the sausages to have been better quality. For the venue: A cracking English breakfast is where you earn your reputation. Please don’t lose sight of that.

Very good, very large breakfast. Really enjoyed it although it was a challenge to finish it all. Good strong builder's tea to go with it and very nice brown bread toast. Will definitely visit again.

Wonderful restaurant, food was ok. I would recommend to all. Wasn't a fan of the burger, but besides that it was ok. I feel this deserves 5 stars because of the wonderful staff. I will be coming again.

We used Just Baguettes for the catering for a garden party, (50 people in total 30 adults, 20 children). They were absolutely excellent from helping with recommending suitable options to delivery and set up. It was fantastic to be able to focus on the day itself and not have to worry about making sure everyone was fed. Presentation looked excellent and communication throughout was spot on.

I emailed just baguettes to see if they would come to my work with the van, and the next morning they turned up! The lady who drives the van is always lovely and polite, and as a celiac, gluten free items can be hard to find, especially in a small town like Thame! (And items that don’t taste like cardboard 😂) Sasha has been wonderful, I email what gluten free option I would like and it’s on the van the next day, top service 🫶🏼

Ordered through Deliveroo. Horrible, horrible food, rude customer service (well the lady I spoke to anyway!) I’m pretty sure I had the same issue with this place a while ago too. No idea where to start, but please do not buy from here. I can’t believe they are still trading. Food: I ordered two items. One panini with double cheese and onion plus tomato’s, and one cream cheese and avocado and tomato baguette with cranberry sauce. What I received: they didn’t even bother to send the double cheese and onion panini, instead they sent a half “ripped” or somehow just an odd sized BAGUETTE, not a panini, cold and stale. I’ve never even seen a baguette this stale! No tomato’s added. Second item: see pic. Sent me another stale baguette with NO AVOCADOS and again, no tomatoes. On top of that, almost all the disgusting soggy cheese had fallen out and smeared into the bag with the cranberry sauce. I decided to call them and explain what happened, yes mistakes can be made, however the lady I spoke to-named JACKI-extremely rude! She not only tried to blame me, she told me “what am I supposed to do then?” She said they try to call the customer if something has “ran out”, but no call was made. She said the avocados ran out but the reason she forgot the tomatoes was because she had another order at the same time?? Even though I had called her prior to making the order to confirm they had everything! She would not give me my money back, or resend. She would not let me talk to a manager, my guess is the manager decided to tell her to explain Ashe wasn’t in or something. I asked her 10 times for her name, she just kept talking over me-shouting actually! Then just hung up the phone! Horrible person, she clearly doesn’t care and doesn’t want to be there and do her job. So, I’ve lost £15, because they’ve decided to steal it and not provide any sort of resolution for it. It’s not even about the money, I just want people to avoid this place-I’ve never had an interaction with a hospitality based company in this manner! PLEASE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR AND DONT ORDER FROM HERE! Everything a good business should have as a minimum even, they lack in it! Service, food quality, staff, atmosphere, I wish i could give it a negative number! I will take this further, not only for the missing items but everything else too. Not for my money back only, but for the principle of this!

Been a customer for 10+ years. Have never been able to find a place that matches up. Fresh food and tastes amazing. Great customer service especially from Joshna. Would recommend to anyone looking for delicious sandwhiches, baguettes or salads!

Really lovely, freshly produced baguettes. Try the slow cooked beef brisket, add some coleslaw, it's delicious. Very good prices too! Support your local independent shops.

Hadn't been for a while not working in Aylesbury but treated myself last Saturday (12th). As always great service and lovely baguettes. Been having their wares since Mick was the man in charge back in late 90s. Long may they continue. They are simply good.

I've had several brunches and lunches here. The quality is top notch - I very highly recommend the "mixed grill" daily special when it is on, with chicken and lamb in a wrap, see photo. All of the food and sauces (try the piri piri) is freshly made. Very highly recommended.

I had a mixed grill, the whole menu is priced very nicely and for the food you get it’s definitely worth it. I also recommend their milkshakes, Oreo or banoffee pie

I have been going to Malebon for, let's say decades now. The food has always been of the highest quality and so fresh. The prices never seem to increase, which is a miracle these days. There are so many things to recommend from the menu, but my personal favourites are the kofta wrap, available as a meal deal too. The mini half Marocain chicken, and the breakfast tagine are also fantastic. Plus their chips always taste like holiday chips, which is so amazing. Highly recommend visiting if you've never been. Keep going, keep this place here for many more years to come.

This was a nice cafe to visit, the two girls working were amazing and really friendly. We noticed they had a lot of orders and still were polite whilst serving and keeping tables clear and cleaned. The food was fantastic. We will be back

Have you got more chance with Bonnie blue serving you rather than eating in this cafe The atmosphere was absolutely disgusting and you could see there was a jealous thing going on soon as my partner walked in with her daughter. There was no communication whatsoever after seeing the food of what someone was eating rice and chicken. It looks like Prison food is better looking avoid it all costs.

This cafe has seriously gone downhill! Haven’t been there since it changed hands so thought I would give it a go. I left my eggs Benedict which was served on a roll/bap and not a muffin or bagel, eggs undercooked and bacon low quality.

A spacious cafe with plenty of internal seating and some external seating. Lots of food options as well as drinks and cakes. The service is warm and friendly. Seems to be a family run business and I love that so they get my support.

This place was absolutely disgusting. As soon as you walk in she’s giving me a weird look at the counter and there was men getting served and she was flirting with the men. I don’t think that people should be flirting with their customers. I don’t do this at my job so why should she? She has no manners for women. It looks like she’s just doing her job because she just wants a man to come in for her it is not Tinder it is work The food looked absolutely atrocious, so we had to walk out

My elderly mom and disabled brother went into costa this afternoon for the Lunch special , my mother put my brother at a table went and stood in the queue, my brother started making noises so my mom went to talk to one of the servers to ask if she could leave the sandwich in front to attend to my mentally disabled brother , when it was her turn in the queue for the server just to call her so she could pay for a cappuccino and the sandwich (toasty ) . She was told when she left the Sandwich there was a queueing policy ,my mom showed the server my brother so she would be able to see why my mom was asking if she could be called when it was her turn , but the server had a go at my mother saying that my mom thought she was in-titled which really upset her , when my mom tried to talk to the staff member she said she was not interested ,when my mom and brother left staff members where laughing at them .

Thought I'd try this 1 instead of the other 1 near KFC, They are so friendly and professional. They both have a smile on their face. Will definitely come back

We come every weekend with our daughter and granddaughter. The staff at the high street store are absolutely fabulous. Super friendly, welcoming and helpful. I don’t think there is a single member of staff that doesn’t smile as you walk in and the immediately engage with the customers. You really feel they are genuinely valued. When you have a business, this is the staff you want.

Very pleasant staff and the shop is clean and tidy. It's more spacious upstairs where you can drink your coffee whilst surreptitiously people watching 😉

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, with genuine home cooked style food. Staffed by volunteers to provide a service to the local community. Regular activities are: Monday 10am - Come and have a coffee and meet people. Tuesday 10am - Play board games. Wednesday 2pm - Come and have a coffee and meet people. Friday - 10am Baby friendly time Friday - 2pm Knit and natter.

Lovely local community cafe, run by volunteers. The cake was delicious and all are home made, and it was a generous sized slice. Friendly atmosphere. You can also buy second hand books here.

Really sorry esquires, but I can't review you without ranting about your car park owners, that coffee cost me £65 as I couldn't park in a space due to parents just waiting to pick up their kids from school, so I parked out of the way but not on a space, (same as others that actually needed to visit shops, )and have been charged dearly. Only visit here if you're walking!!!!!

Waited ages as the guy serving spent ages chatting to each customer, he was friendly but if you're on a break from work then be prepared to wait a while. Ordered a cherry lemonade as they had it advertised as a new drink, and I was so disappointed. Flat cheap lemonade from a big bottle poured over ice with a squirt of cherry syrup. For £4.50 I expected something a little nicer, I could have bought a better bottled drink from Sainsbury's next door for half the price.

Very popular : I heard them being co granulated on the food . I wanted to use a loo , so ordered double espresso with hot milk on the side . As this is how I like it a - tasting the intensity of the coffee then gradually getting a milky taste. I got told milk comes inside the coffee ?? Yes ok? And I hit delivered a lovely frothy cappuccino complete with chocolate powder - sprinkle Nice But not what I ordered . Rumseys on the other hand wee excellent

The perfect Costa. The staff are so friendly, helpful and expert - about the coffee, the menu/allergies or the app. They take trouble with every drink and every query. Comfortable seating, plenty of space and natural light and a relaxing atmosphere. Just lovely.

Don't ask much, a clean table and a nice coffee, but after 5mins I cleared my table (only 3 customers) took the empties to the counter and they barely acknowledged me. Popped in for a coffee. Good service and friendly staff. It was very quiet but the tables still had left over debris, which they didn’t appear to be in a hurry to clear up!

It's a fairly ordinary Costa that could do with some investment to brighten the place up. Nice enough in good weather when you can sit out the back on the patio, but again the furniture could all do with cheering up or replacing. The team are all nice and helpful.

I think the woman with the glasses blonde lady is quite rude. She was on shift today and is there most days. She has no customer service skills and I saw her pressing her phone behind the counter and smiling whilst she waited for my toastie.

The staff in here are really polite and friendly. Especially Roger, who makes a mean Skinny Sugar free caramel latte! And always takes time to speak to my children.

Got there before 9am and asked for poached eggs. The reply was sorry we don't have poached eggs. Only fried. What does this mean? Chef on holiday? Or do they buy poached eggs, fried eggs chips etc ready cooked and just microwave them?

Like a carry on film... wrong order then tried remove food from my mother who had started to eat her meal. Then another 45 minutes for my meal to come. There was only 5 people in the cafe when we arrived. Not good enough.

Honestly, this was the most disgusting 🤢 breakfast I’ve ever had the misfortune of ordering. The food looked like it had been abandoned on the grill , and the egg? Let’s just say it looked questionably unhealthy, like it was going through something 😵‍💫. The hashbrown was a joke. FYI, “brown” is just in the name — it doesn’t mean it should so dry and over cooked. I don’t know if the cook was having a bad day or if this is their usual standard, but either way, Morrison Café really needs to step up. Zero care, zero flavor, and definitely zero stars from me.

No clean tablets, food arrived for my son no beans, for me no sausages. It was okish not great. Drinks arrived 10 minutes after food.

Waited 25 minutes for a breakfast that sat on shelf for 7 minutes and was finally served cold..to be fair they offered a refund or another breakfast. No way was I waiting another 25 minutes. The lady said she would give me a free breakfast next. time. I font think I will go back. Its happened 3 times now. I give up.

I don’t quite know how to rate this because there is no option to give it a 0 star review - the milkshake was average but the teas and coffees never came. Very poor service. Heather was supposed to be on drink duty but clearly had other priorities (don’t blame Heather though - blame the management). The manager seemed clueless on what his staff members were actually doing as well. Sitting at the table beside us, there was a lady crying because her food never came. On the plus side though, we were able to get a refund when the hot drinks never arrived after half and hour. Don’t recommend.

Morrisons Cafe inside their Aylesbury supermarket- Awful breakfast, I am disabled so whilst my wife shopped I went to the cafe, service was dreadful and I waited to order for quite a long time (nobody in front of me at till) whilst restaurant staff passed by. When I eventually ordered no coffee as machine out of order again, when breakfast arrived it was mostly overcooked with burnt sausages and bacon, hard egg, limp under cooked toast. The cafe tables were not being cleared so the customer at table next to me cleared and cleaned his table. A totally unsatisfactory experience .

The food was very good!! The staff were very friendly but forgot one of the items (made it straight away when we reminded them). The main problem was that the ladies toilets were out of order and the disabled toilets didn't seem too clean.

Fantastic coffee and cakes the staff was very friendly. Not to great parking but you can have a nice short walk from the bus station. Nearest free parking I think is the Cambridge Street retail park. Highly recommend this place.
