Quimper Cathedral is beautiful! The stained glass and Gothic arches are stunning. It’s peaceful, and the unique bend in the building is worth seeing. Even if you’re not big on churches, it’s a great spot to check out in Quimper.
Colorful windows with arts are very wow This is a very beautiful cathedral in a very beautiful town. We much enjoyed our tour. Motivated by a GC Adventure Lab we were surprised that two of the stops are within this location. So check it out.
Absolutely beautiful cathedral well worth visiting the architecture is incredible.
Beautiful church in a very quaint town — at least the old part of town.
One of the things we love about trips to France is visiting the great monuments to mans dedication to God over the past centuries. I don't care what God you believe in, these massive buildings are something to behold. And to think they built them without modern technology, building methods, etc. I find them both magnificent and awe inspiring.

A beautiful cathedral in the heart of a medieval gem. It has the interesting quirk of a twist in the nave said to be due to problems with the proximity of the river when being extended. Wide range of shops and restaurants around cathedral square.
Beautiful, atmospheric and amazing construction. Wonderful music played during my visit to add to the experience.

This is a river. Why would anyone want a review of a river? Perhaps they are thinking “shall I go to the Meuse today or perhaps the Thames, wait no, the Odet has 5 stars I’ll go there”. Anyway, it’s a river and it is wet.

A gem of a museum in a gem of an old town. Beautiful art pieces and quality temporary exhibitions. The Breton art is impressive and there are some larger pieces that are spectacular and well worth the visit just for them. The entry price is also very reasonable at 6.5 euros which leaves some money for a crêpe after the tour! Plan about 2h for the visit.
This museum exceeded my expectations! The architecture of the building itself was art, and the collections were clearly well-thought and tastefully displayed. Excellent assistance and friendly staff as well, and all this at a very reasonable price. Plus the temporary exhibition was great and thought-provoking. If I lived in Quimper, I would come here over and over again!
Excellent permanent exhibit. Nice temporary exhibits (see pic for one while we were there) Museum is nicely curated with some interesting Breton art.
This museum is closed until December 2025 due to renovations.
This museum is very beautiful. It is a museum with three floors. It has some sculptures and some very beautiful paintings. Interestingly, it has a copy portrait of Mona Lisa Those of you coin-passed day-trippers must visit this museum. The people inside are very nice
Amazing! The art collection from different periods and movements is outstanding. I came from lorient to specifically view the Vivian Maier expo, which is a must see. It gave me chills! The museum itself is designed beautifully and has access for people with disabilities.
This is a beautiful space dedicated to Breton artists and a great diversity of other works. I love going and spending a few hours there and introducing visiting friends to the Musée de beaux-arts de Quimper.
This was a great little gallery in the centre of Quimper. We loved all the pictures the Klimt was a high point. There was a queue to get in but it was relatively quick and the gallery was not too crowded. There where 6 or 7 big rooms of painting and a lot of information, in French we used a app to translate.

Nice museum in Quimpee city center showing costumes and furniture of the locals over the years. We hoped to find out more about the old people living these lands but information was limited. The ticket costs 7 euro and the visit takes about one hour. The museum is located in the Palace of the Bishops of Cornouaille, has 2 floors and has elevators.
Excellent museum, well curated, wheelchair accessible with a great collection of Bretagne regional artifacts from the Celts up to current clothing traditional clothing pieces. Set aside a hour at least for a good visit.
To be fair, without the top floor it would just be very good, but that exhibition of Late Impressionists was the ultimate treat for climbing the stairs. Lots of lovely little discoveries on the way up, like Roman phallic altar, or the marquetry nested tables. However, like many French museums, it has no cafe, which is an untapped revenue stream, as ever. Worth a visit.
Love that they considered accessibility- wheelchairs for use, pictures to feel for the visually impaired, a room to rest in, seating possibilities everywhere!
The ground floor is fine but the best stuff is upstairs where there is fantastic examples of traditional Breton life and clothing.
We had a really nice time here - the museum is at once accessible without being pedestrian. It’s a great way to send an hour or two while learning about the unique culture of this special region.
Really interesting collection of exhibits covering history of the region. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit.
Very interesting with English translation throughout. I especially liked the costumes with modern takes on them, the ceramics and the inlaid furniture..

Very friendly and modern place, we participated in the guided tour of Quimper in the rain (thank you, Beatrice!). Recommended!
Great historical town with old buildings and houses. Night illuminations for the holiday season.
Great advice for how to read the regional bus timetables. Very helpful! Thanks!
A must for all visitors to the town.
Excellent facility. Could use more varied literature in languages other than French
Visited on the 7th May in the afternoon, met a very helpful operator who spoke 5 languages, he gave me a lot of great advice. Thank you!

So sorry I inadvertently gave this museum one star when in fact I loved it, especially the GeoFourrier exhibit. It was a highlight of my visit to Quimper.
Such a wonderful experience, our tour guide Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable, kind and had a great sense of humour. His English was great, even though everything was in French. We will be back!
Interesting visit. Tour unfortunately all in French but hey ho we were given a brief handout in English. Tour guide spoke good english and answered all our questions. Thank you.
A very nice museum/shop with some very expensive pieces of pottery.

So lovely to be in nature. There was a trail map sign, but being alone, I wasn’t completely comfortable to do the entire loop (the signs along the trails weren’t very clear). Definitely worth a visit.
Wonderful hikes along the small river. Looks like you could take a dip in the river in a few places: so bring your swimsuit (we did not 🙈)!
This place was gorgeous. We took about 2 hours walking around. It's very steep to get to the river and not buggy friendly at all! My son who's 6 walked the whole time and loved it, our daughter is 3 and she walked plus we put her in carrier. If you don't want to wake around it and have a child there is a nice walk along the top where you can see a couple of view points.
Nice trails outside of Quimper and very dog-friendly! Well-maintained paths and clearly marked. We didn't get to see the whole park on our first visit, but if you go early in the morning you'd be able to explore all the trails by dusk, and it'd be worth it!
What a beautiful place to hike! The weather was perfect, the trails were easy to stay on, and we even had a surprise tour guide! Thanks for checking on us Nour!
Absolutely wonderful woods walk along the Odet as it riffles between mossy rocks and twisting oak roots. Main trails are moderate, but side trails are very difficult for anyone with mobility issues due to the trail winding over and between large wet rocks. That aside, it’s a charming hike through a beautiful forest, which is hard to come by in this area of Brittany.
Nice walk along the river l'Odet.
Found this on goggle maps under attractions as not advertised else where but what a spot.Beautiful walk down through this enchanted forest to the rushing river below.

We were welcomed by a very nice lady that speaks perfect English. We were given a tour with detailed explanations. Tour was free, you can tip at the end. We could taste all their products and coule buy at good prices. The products won many awards and they are delicious!
It was a wonderful surprise and a truly great experience on a rainy day! The tour was given in both English and French, with very useful and interesting information about the cider-making process. The lady who guided the tour was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more enjoyable. The tasting was fantastic—the quality of the cider is excellent! We left with several bottles… and still wishing we had taken more. Definitely worth a visit!
We arrived near the end of a tour that had just been going around. Nevertheless we were invited to join in and join the tasting. This was just as we walked in the door. The women was lovely and spoke English very well, which is good as our french is very subpar. She was also very eager to do so rather than just begrudgingly speaking it. The tour itself which we were guided on straight after (which was free by the way) was really interesting and conclusive. I didn't know cider was fermented in the bottle lol. The cider is fairly priced, starting at €4 for a 75cl bottle. And delicious as well.
Tour was very informative and it was in english. At the end we had the tasting, excellent ciders and lambigs.
Friendly, informative, entertaining tour of the cidrerie. Great explanation of the cider-making process specific to the region that ended with a generous tasting of all their products. Afterwards, you can take a stroll through the orchards and also visit the museum and distillery next door.
The ciderarie tour and the lembic museum are definitely worth doing. They're free and include a free tasting at each.
The lady gave us a free tour and tasting in English, was very friendly and gave great explanations! I would highly recommend this cidrerie, try their pommeau and lambig (and ofc their ciders) as well. There's also an huge apple orchard nearby that you can visit at the manor that makes for a nice quick stroll.
What na experience! We really enjoyed Ms Ludovic's commentary; she was funny And extremely kind. Thank you for everything And we highly recommend a visit to everyone. 🍏😊

Had a 6 night stay at this campsite. We stayed previously about 20 years ago and it has since been transformed into an incredible campsite with excellent facilities and lots to do. Several pools to use both indoor and outdoor. The pitches are all private and well landscaped - we had a large pitch with water and drainage. The amps were pretty high which was good as had to run our air con a few times. We had great weather which was good as walked into Quimper several times for meals out. We had a meal at the restaurant on site and the food was good with excellent service. We had an Irish coffee to finish with which was incredible. Lovely site with excellent facilities and kept clean and tidy.
As some other reviewer said its a bit overdue. The garden was ok (botanic does not mean not taken care off) few goats and 2 little horses are the only animals. The castle is private propertie, so not accessible. The midget golf is aged, nice to see once. But never again... Sorry...
Brilliant place! Beautiful grounds with buggy suitable paths. Started off heading to the 'farm' to see thr animals - couple of cows and ponies, and a few friendly goats, guineas and chickens. Then walked along to the vegetable/herb garden which was very impressive. Then saw the Neptune pool which although low due to the tides, had loads of fish in it. Then the kids went wild on the Tramoforest - so much fun!! Finally headed back to the car via a bouncy castle/pillow park and self push carousel. The pool looked amazing, with multiple areas for all kid ages - mini and bigger slides. Must be amazing to have a camping holiday there, with all those facilities every day!
Amazing place full of attractions ❣️ It’s situated in a beautiful area in Bretagne. I can totally recommend it 😇 It’s a family business and that’s beautiful! It was great to stay at a place with a real soul 🫶🏽
We camped here for a couple of nights. It suited us very well. A very large campsite, but very quiet and uncrowded. It was out of season. Lovely to listen to the birds at dawn. On the site there was plenty to see , and plenty of areas to walk to. Fortunately most of the amenities were closed. This was May. The swimming pool and the shops were closed. The golf course and the bar/restaurant were open. The is a nice walk into the town centre, you don't have to walk down any roads to get there.
What a beautiful place wouid highly recommend this dream word , with so much to do sit and relax by the pool with a book , or explore the landscape , bike rides walkways, and lots for kids crazy golf bouncy castles etc...
55€ to put up a very small tent and a motorcycle.. muddy patch... no grass no privacy and next to a swimming pool full of screaming kids... Laughable
Beautiful, and very relaxing Parc with a garden and a view of the chateau..really stunning..worth the visit..its very massive great place to stroll

This is a great place to go if it is raining as it is all indoors. I went, and I loved it. Most shops have things to test/ use. An example of this is that there are many masage chairs that you can test for free! For lunch i got a sandwich from a shop by the entrance and it was very cheap and delicious. And when you have finished you can go get your shopping from the hypermarket. The food is fresh and there is a lot of selection. I recommend that if you are getting a vinyl, get it from the hypermarket as it is significantly cheaper than the other shops but has less selection.
Many shops, barbers, hairdressers, a huge intermarche with very interesting deals all year round. I love to shop there. Besides, it's easy to park. Also the petrol station has the best prices in the area.
Quie, yes, ja...very good shopping
Great shops but a little limited for eating
Really big!!! We only wanted to go to the Intermarche, but didn't realise it was in a mall. Carrying bags of shopping through the mall and back to the car was very hard work!
Great mall, lots of nice shops, lovely little creperie. All the shops you need.
A shopping centre with most of the shops you could need. Great fashion stores, some tech stores and a huge supermarket. Plenty of parking with awesome indicators denoting the amount of available parking spaces in any particular row. There is also a petrol garage for a quick fill.
We went to the restaurant here twice whilst on holiday, the food was good and cooked fresh to order, they have a little soft play in there too which will keep the little ones busy. My little one also got a mini toy each visit which was nice, the staff were super helpful too.

Polig Monjaret, the famous “general of the binious” even lived there for a time. Today the Boisbilly hotel houses the heritage house which offers many activities. (Translated by Google) beautiful building in the center of the old town, free access, very friendly welcome, the current exhibition on photos of Brittany is very friendly and informative ;) With humor ;) the reception area is small but very warm, with an old visible fireplace and 2-3 small, elegant old armchairs for reading a few books on Breton clichés, for example ;) the Heritage House also sometimes organizes thematic guided tours of the city (it depends on the seasons) (Original) bel édifice au centre de la vieille ville, accès gratuit, accueil très sympathique, l'exposition en cours sur les clichés sur le Bretagne y est très sympathique et informative ;) Avec humour ;) l'espace d'accueil y est petit mais très chaleureux, avec ancienne cheminée visible et 2-3 petits fauteuils anciens élégants pour bouquiner quelques livres sur les clichés bretons justement par exemple ;) la maison du Patrimoine organise aussi des visites guidées thématiques de la ville parfois (cela dépend des saisons)
