Bustling long sandy beach with sun beds, umbrellas, an al fresco restaurant & entertainment.

Very nice and clean beach. You pay up to 20 euro for umbrellas and sun lounger. For additional lounger is 7 eur. To use toilets and showers you give 5 euro deposit and they give you special chip.
Was really great place!!
There are three main areas to rent umbrellas: fun area (family), enjoy, and comfort (no children). You can also pay extra to sit in the front row closest to the beach. The front row at comfort was 55 euros for two people. Bars to purchase food and drinks and a clean washroom, change room and shower facility are included with entrance.
Long beach line and very beautiful beach with direct bus stop a few meters away
When you visit Venice, you should take time to have a sun bath :) It's clean, it's soft sand and warm water. Maybe you ain't the only person there but hey... We loved it here
Beautiful beach, free of charge. However you have to pay for toilet and shower 1 euro each. I liked that they have bins so you don't have to take your litter with you. Also have restaurants and bars and a little shop where you can buy stuff you need on the beach!
We ventured off the main island of Venice to go to Lido so we can have some beach time. Unfortunately the cheapest bungalows were all booked up so we decided to splurge for one on the front row. It was pricy but still half the price of a bungalow at one of the water parks back home and not nearly as nice. The bathrooms were clean and the snack bar had some decent food. The water was calm and fairly warm early in the day but later the wind picked up. Also the beach wasn’t that crowded that day. Not like Santa Monica on a summer weekend.
Close to venice but far from its crowded streets. Sandy beach, warm water. There are toilets for 1euro entrance.

Chic quarters in a refined hotel offering a rooftop bar, a Venetian restaurant & a Thai spa.

Hotel service was top notch, rooms were large, modern, and the best I’ve had in Europe. Just down the street from the pier to catch taxis or water transportation travel between the hotel airport, and Venice was very easy. Location around the hotel was walkable and had beaches, great restaurants and was very nice. Was very pleased with this choice for my trip to Venice.
Beautiful Art Nouveau hotel centrally located on the Lido. Come here to see the stars during the annual film festival. Fantastic breakfast available even if you are not staying at the hotel. Great swimming pool and great rooftop bar. Wonderful staff.
We really enjoyed our stay at Ausonia Hungaria. It's a hotel with class and that old school service you see in the movies. The staff in the reception were friendly and attentive (and upgraded our room for us without us asking, which was nice). The room was super clean and modern, and had a very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed the breakfast service as well, and we made good use of the facilities including the outdoor bar, the pool and the Lana Gaia (Thai) wellness centre in the basement where we enjoyed full body massages. The hotel is in a great location, Lido di Venezia is a chilled neighbourhood (except for when the film festival is on). Getting around it was nice, we had a great walk along some of the island, and getting to the other parts of Venice was easy. We can only think of a couple of small things and they really are small as we loved the hotel overall. The pool was very cold, nice when it's super hot probably but not so nice otherwise. Also, if you are in one of the front rooms, if there is a party at the front bar outside you will be able to hear it a bit even with the windows closed (we were on the 4th floor). Finally, for those who need pitch black rooms, we suggest you bring an eye mask as there are lots of switches with little lights in that mean the room isn't totally black. Overall, we loved the hotel and look forward to returning.
We stayed in room 401 which was a corner room with a view towards Venice however the size of the room was very small. The check in experience was okay, I don’t believe the hotel would check in before 2pm, at least they didn’t in our case, but we expected that so no issue. We were assigned room 401 which was a corner room, however the room was very small. Every morning after 5am we were woken up by the loud noise outside (sounded like some heavy machinery operating around the hotel) and when I reported this to the reception they were very indifferent and all they wanted to point out is that the noise was not coming from inside the hotel. The breakfast was very limited and repetitive, overall a subpar experience especially if you think that this is supposed to be a 5 stars hotel. Also we asked for an iron in the room and the response we got was - “impossible” - and the person from reception had the audacity to say that no hotel in Italy would provide an iron which we know for a fact that it was not true. We understand that some hotels might not be able to provide it due to health&safety concerns but there is a way to explain it to the Guests. They also have a very strange housekeeping practice where they knock late in the evening to ask guests if they want the towels replaced. I would expect that some might already be sleeping and were woken up by this practice. On the positives, the hotel is conveniently located within 5 minutes from the Lido Vaporetto and it looks impressive from the outside. To sum it up, the hotel does not provide 5 stars services by no standards, considering the level of service offered by the staff, three stars would be more realistic.
Not a true five-star experience Although this hotel is officially rated five stars, the experience feels to four stars, and in some areas, not even that. Pricey (above 300 usd) but quality regular. To start with something positive, the mattress is very comfortable, which made for good sleep quality. However, the pillows were unbearable, too firm and flat (similar to those used in the 90s). When I asked for replacements, the new ones arrived with an unpleasant smell, which made things worse rather than better. The bathroom design is extremely impractical. It’s separated from the bedroom by a transparent glass wall, which already compromises privacy, and the lighting system makes no sense: it’s motion-sensor activated and turns on automatically every time someone walks in. This means that if you use the bathroom in the middle of the night, the entire room lights up, waking up anyone sleeping. The gym is a complete disappointment. It’s tiny, poorly equipped, and only open from 11:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. by reservation. So If one prefers to exercise early in the morning, this schedule is absurd. The limited size of the gym is understandable, but the restrictive hours make it practically unusable for tourists who want to use the day to wonder after 10-11. The breakfast was the biggest letdown. It’s not a buffet but a fixed set of items brought to the table, and unfortunately, the quality is poor. The breads were hard and flavorless, the salmon tasted cheap, and the cheeses were dry and unappealing. The pineapple was fresh and good, but that’s about it. For anyone lactose intolerant or with dietary restrictions, the options are almost nonexistent. When I asked for goat or pecorino cheese (in Italy), the waiter said they only had regular cow’s milk cheeses. Considering this is supposed to be a five-star hotel, and breakfast is not cheap, it’s simply unacceptable. There are many cafés nearby that offer much better quality for the same price or less. Overall, while the hotel looks polished on the surface, the details and guest experience fall far short of five-star standards. With better attention to comfort and an improved breakfast, it could live up to its rating, but for now, it doesn’t. The staff at the front desk were kind.
Had a wonderful 4 night stay at the hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is wonderful on the Lido. Although the room was on the small side it was comfortable and well appointed. Not European enough to appreciate the glass wall on the lavatory. We both had massages in the spa and the staff were great. Took us a couple of days to realize the hallway rugs were maps of the island
A stay at Ausonia Hungaria is nothing short of enchanting. From the moment you step through its grand Art Nouveau façade, you’re transported into a world of elegance, calm, and impeccable style. The hotel’s historic exterior — a masterpiece of Liberty-era design — gives way to beautifully refurbished interiors that blend classic Venetian charm with sleek modern comfort. Service throughout is exceptional. Every member of staff seems genuinely proud to work here, offering polished, friendly hospitality that feels personal without ever being intrusive. The rooms are pristine and stylish, with supremely comfortable beds, high-quality linens, and thoughtful touches that make each return to your room feel like a quiet luxury. And then there’s the breakfast — truly unforgettable. Served in the hotel’s sun lounge, a light-filled orangery overlooking the garden, it’s an experience that feels indulgent yet wonderfully relaxed. Morning sunlight streams through the glass as you enjoy an exquisite spread: freshly baked pastries, local cheeses and cured meats, bowls of vibrant seasonal fruit, silky yoghurts, smoked salmon, and eggs cooked to perfection — all accompanied by a chilled bottle of freshly squeezed orange juice. The coffee is excellent and always served with a smile. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you want to linger all morning — unhurried, elegant, and utterly restorative. The location, on the Lido di Venezia, is ideal — just a short stroll from the vaporetto stop, meaning you can reach St Mark’s Square or the Grand Canal in minutes, yet return to the hotel’s calm, leafy surroundings at the end of the day. The tranquil pool and spa add to the sense of escape, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustle of Venice. In every way, Ausonia Hungaria captures the spirit of refined Venetian hospitality. It’s grand without being pretentious, luxurious yet welcoming, and every element — from the radiant breakfast orangery to the elegant décor — speaks of care and quality. If you’re seeking a hotel that combines history, style, and heartfelt service with a truly exceptional breakfast, Ausonia Hungaria is a shining example of five-star perfection.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Stay – True Luxury with Heart and Style Our experience at Ausonia Hungaria was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the seamless blend of modern luxury and timeless charm that makes this hotel so unique. Every detail, from the stunning decor and artwork to the exceptional service, exceeded our expectations. Our room was spacious and elegant, featuring multiple windows, a large closet, and a beautiful mix of modern and artistic design. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night’s sleep, and the bathroom was spectacular — grand in size, spotless, and complete with a heated towel rack that added an extra touch of indulgence. The combination of comfort, beauty, and thoughtful amenities made us feel truly pampered. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff, who were friendly, professional, and attentive in every way. A special mention goes to Fabio, who was an absolute delight and quickly became our go-to for anything we needed. He was always smiling, eager to help, and offered great recommendations that enhanced our stay immensely. We were invited to enjoy cocktails on the rooftop, where the ambiance and view were spectacular. The hotel’s decks, design, and decor are remarkable — every space feels artfully curated and full of character. The Hollywood memorabilia throughout the hotel adds a playful and fascinating touch that makes exploring the property a joy in itself. The food was both beautiful and delicious, presented with care and flair. Each meal felt like a special occasion. Every interaction we had, from dining to spa inquiries to simply passing by the reception, was met with genuine warmth. Staying here truly made us feel like royalty. Ausonia Hungaria is far more than a hotel — it’s an experience. Elegant, welcoming, artistic, and full of soul. We left feeling completely refreshed and already dreaming of our next visit.

The Tempio Votivo della Pace di Venezia, also known as the Votive Temple of Peace of Venice, is a moving and magnificent monument located on the island of Lido in Venice. This chapel is dedicated to the memory of those who died in battle, notably World battle I, and serves as a strong symbol of peace and hope. The temple's location on the Lido, which is more commonly associated with beaches and the Venice Film Festival, represents a wish to turn away from violence and toward serenity. The desire to create such a memorial originated after World War I as a means to remember the deceased and hope for a conflict-free future. Construction began in 1925 and ended in 1936. Enrico Degen designed the temple, which smoothly mixes aspects of Neo-Romanesque, Byzantine, and Venetian architecture. The end product is a distinctive and spectacular structure that embodies Venice's rich architectural legacy. The temple's façade is covered in red bricks and white stone, with a succession of arches, columns, and windows. Its tall and thin bell tower is easily noticeable from a distance. The temple's interior is basic yet impressive. The walls are decorated with paintings and mosaics reflecting religious and patriotic themes. The main altar is decorated with a figure of the Virgin Mary and Child. The Votive Temple of Peace serves as a reminder of the devastation caused by conflict and the continuing human longing for peace.
Unmistakable pre WWII architecture commemorating the victims of WWI and located just north of the center of Lido di Venezia. Unfortunately, we visited Lido the two days of the week when this historical monument is closed (Sunday and Monday), so that will be for next time.

We went with my friend for one day at the weekend and it was an amazing experience. We enjoyed ourselves and had a good rest. The beach club is clean and beautiful. Maybe the price is a bit pricey but it deserves it because the place was not that crowded.
Who is running this company?! Are you people completely asleep at the wheel? This place has become a complete embarrassment. I booked a full week — not for this circus. Yesterday, I witnessed ten beach staff members surround and intimidate a couple for no apparent reason. Today? I had to watch your guys harass my daughters. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s disgusting. This used to be a classy, respected destination. Now? It feels like no one is in charge, standards are gone, and common sense left the building a long time ago. Keep going like this — and you’ll end up just like the hotel: irrelevant and empty. Sort yourselves out. Before it’s too late.
This was a really nice experience. The only con is the distance from the loungers to the sea but I don’t think they can control that. The shower and toilet facilities why great/normal. The bar/cafe where we had our lunch was great. Good sun loungers easy to manoeuvre. But it’s worth bearing in mind that you can’t escape the sun. Overall lovely beach and warm sea.
Watch out for the scam salespeople that come by your chair. Enjoyed an afternoon under an umbrella for 5€ more than the online price but nice beach and good swimming. Good showers and bathrooms.
The beach itself is beautiful. However, the people are not kind. We went on a cloudy afternoon and most of the chairs were empty. We paid for a daily rental and were put in the back because of seasonal rentals (who were not currently present). We were told we needed to move back to the back. We explained we could not see our kids in the water and that if we had to sit in the back with no one there we would need to be refunded. The refund was denied. Multiple people continued to tell us we needed to move out of the chairs even the approximately 80% of them were not occupied. We don’t understand why it mattered to people we weren’t bothering when the chairs were empty. Just figured people were being unkind. We hadn’t spoken to anybody, didn’t have loud music on, we were just sitting watching our kids. I would not recommend this place.
We went to the blue moon beach but it was full so we walked down to this beach. We got a cabana for 125 euros. It was expensive and you don’t really get any service. You need to walk up to the bar and order. They speak very little English. We got there late so if you come early there are chairs on a nice grassy area with no view of the ocean. The drinks are cheap and you just need to ask for a bucket and ice. The location Is beautiful, the water was warm. Look up the history of the old hotel behind that is now closed. I hear a COIMA purchased the hotel so I’m sure good things are to come.
A joke of a beach club pretending to be luxury. Service? 0/10. Staff? A masterclass in arrogance. Special thanks to Angelo and his Ukrainian sidekick – hospitality clearly isn’t your calling. But hey – we all meet twice in life
Follow you around, won't let you wash your feet. Very rude won't be back

This was included as part of an excursion we came on with a tour provider. We got access to the private beach ⛱️ Free towel, complimentary drink, beach hut and sunbeds near the sea front. The beach was stunning, soft sand and warm sea, enjoyed our time here.
Beautiful location and very nice service. Greta atmosphere. Also, good food!
5 stars for consistently professional beach staff members who genuinely care about guests. Chairs and umbrellas are fair price. Water and beach are clean. The restaurant and bar experienced subpar service in past years. However, this year 2024, the staff are all sophisticated, diligent, professional, and kind. The improvement in service is remarkable. Food is good to eat but pre cooked pasta should be considered, they are always over cooked.
Soft sand (with tiny shells) as far as the eye can see, and water that's as warm as a bath with gentle waves. Not too crowded, and dog friendly for those with canine companions. You can rent deck chairs and parasols, and there's a bar for drinks and snacks. There's a pizzeria next door aptly named Paradise Beach.
We came with our dog. Good facilities, friendly staff. Sea water not clear but clean.
Beautiful elegant and modern. Located at one of the most beautiful and peaceful part of Venice it is equally modern with nice staff and nice food. I attended the party during a conference and then made the evening magical delicate the fact that it was huge gathering.
Best beach bar in Venice!!! We spent such a wonderful evening there with my husband.. we felt like on honeymoon! Definitely a MUST! Good food, best service.
Nice place. Horrible service. Long waiting and incomplete order. One inch of wine in a glass. When I said something about the quantity I was laughed at by one of the owners. I ordered a spritz. got half a glass of ice and no potato chips. No need to tip the waiter because they will add 50 ct x consumption to the bill if you are sitting at the table. At the counter there is not enough service. Just a girly trying to understand how the register works. No, they started out very nicely a few years ago but I'm very dissapointed about how they turned out to be.

It was a big pleasure for me to visit the place, it was my first experience as a actor to attend such an event /film festival , it’ll forever remain in my memories , hopefully gonna come back soon...
Nice place, I attended a conference last may/2025 Great location, lido island is A very nice island and totally different experience than Venice itself, The casino is big, good restrooms, elevators are available, the halls are really good, with comfy chairs as well, the place is well maintained.
Venice film festival is not equipped to accept people. Horrible infrastructure. Very rare boats to the island, no aircon, people have to wait in 30+ C heat for 30+ min. Berlin or Sundance got a much better attitude to visitors. Won't be coming back.
The air conditioning on the third floor feels really strong and comfortable.
I really enjoyed the film 76th festival venice
Special place. Especialy at Venice film festival time.
Excellent location. Photo is a morning view outside
The outside is rather unispiring (I guess in my mind the palazzo de Casino should look more like a palazzo) but the location is actually very nice and the inside is beautiful. Great congress/ event center. Easy to access from anywhere on the Lido. From central Venice it will take around 45 minutes. Great view on the adriatic sea in front.

This is an amazing ancient cemetery. I found there tombstones dating 300 years plus. The guard was there - it was 5pm and he was very kind.

Lovely place to find peace and praise God. Lovely location.
Lovely place ⛪ The priest, Don Renato, is simply fantastic, kind, smart and very open-minded. My 2 years old loves the Mass for children at 10am because there is live music (he "plays" his ukulele with the band🤩). The community is generally very friendly. They organise free Italian classes for foreigners twice a week. The Caritas does an amazing job, especially for the poorer people on Lido. It's a true privilege to be a part of this parish (since 2022)🌷
(Translated by Google) It's my parish and so I'm biased. The church is not very beautiful aesthetically but what makes it beautiful are the groups that are very present and the preparation of Don Renato, the parish priest, who, being young, is a volcano of ideas, proposals and actions. Don Benedict's contribution to the Holy Masses must not be forgotten, even if he was busy with other commitments at the Seminary of Venice.

Beautiful space to work
(Translated by Google) very quiet place to read/study and or work. Two floors with a view of the lagoon or beautiful horses. I find it a welcoming place with very friendly staff who often help. Personally, the only flaw is the lack of esoteric books in the field of wicca/witches. It's a shame but I understand that not many people are interested in it. They should perhaps update the books a bit. I go there every year and always find the same ones. But overall always a positive experience (Original) posto molto tranquillo dove leggere/studiare e o lavorare.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful, well-stocked, including books for children and teenagers. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They also offer various activities. Congratulations! (Original) Bellissima, molto fornita, anche di libri per bambino e ragazzi. Personale gentile e preparato. Si fanno anche diverse attività. Complimenti!
(Translated by Google) The library is welcoming, very bright and equipped with air conditioning. In the study area there are limited seats but this allows you to gain space and silence. The terrace allows for excellent breaks from studying. The main flaw is the closing time, at 7 pm it is really very early if you consider that you are often asked to leave your seat even 15 minutes before the actual closing time.

The librarian Diana was very kind, she let us explore all the rooms of the library; we looked at the view and the horses in the adjacent stables; we read a lot of wonderful books while lying on the sofa. With a library like this you will want to read books every day. (Original) Scuola dell'Infanzia GABELLI.

I really enjoyed my experience in Paradise Beach. Even though there are a lot of family and children during my visit, the atmosphere was relaxed and pretty quiet. The service was great too. I went after 14:00 and the prices for umbrella and beach bed were reduced to 13€. I was surprised to pay only 4€ for an Aperol Spritz that comes with crisps, this is very affordable compared to other facilities there which charge atmospheric prices. I highly recommend spending the time in Lido here.
Food was acceptable. Hit the spot. However, the whole place was well equipped. We got an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs at the beach. There was a great playground for the kiddos.
Another time here, and it has been great again! Busy Ambiente mixed with flair of beach and good vibes. One of my favourite spots on lido, for really good pizzas!
Located in the lido island of venice, paradise beach is a must visit for families. It's very safe to swim as there are no strong waves. One can reach this place from s.m.e lido via A bus. Cabins and large umbrellas are available for rent. The umbrella cost 15 euros.
Lovely spot with great pizza and satisfactory food. The service was excellent.
Very relaxing, well kept. The food is very good and there is safe playground for the kids. Great hospitality also but don't speak English.
Always amazing food. We come every time we are in Lido
Food was delicious. But they charge 2 euro each for using cutlery which is ridiculous. We tried Lido pizza, grilled sea bass and traditional tiramisu. Everything was great. A nice restaurant to eat after spending a sunny beach day 🏝️

Beautiful beach, not too crowded especially not a little further on the sides. You have the possibility to rent some beach umbrellas and chairs. There is also a little bar, a restaurant that serves some good food and isn't too expensive. And a little shop to buy drinks etc.
Best kept secret. Not overrun, rent a cabin for the day totally worth it, make sure you pick one on the right side when facing the beach (for the shade), careful restaurant on the beach closed at 3pm and only does 2 sittings 12 and we 14 o'clock
Perfect local beach club. Water was warm.
Nice clean sandy beach with all necessary amenities but not crowded with tourists. We spent half a day here, swimming, lounging, sleeping, walking and dining, all within reach and budget.
Still as beautiful as ever. My favorite Beach on the Lido.
Really nice spot.. Relaxed Friendly and great music. So good we went back for another day.. Nice escape and contrast from city and even the rest of lido. But Watch out for mosquitoes in toilets
The good point is the bigger distance between the beach umbrellas near the see. Another good thing is the nice music selection at the bar.
