National museum
Outdoor museum with 4-hangar collection of aircraft, including Concorde and Boeing 707 to board.
Slide 1 of 8
I really enjoyed the visit as I had been fascinated by Concorde as a kid. It was amazing to be able to step aboard an aircraft that has been consigned to history. The information boards were really quite interesting. The other two planes outside the hangars weren’t open to visitors at the time I was there (July, 2025) though, from signage, it seemed they had been in the past. Staff were nice.
Brilliant day out. We thought 2 hours would be enough but we ended up spending 4.5 hours there. Loads of interesting things to see and do. Our whole family from aged 12 to 75 was entertained. The fantastic flight area where you go in a simulator, make paper aeroplanes and eject them was loads of fun. Staff were really passionate and helpful. Definitely recommend. Great family day out.
One of the remaining Concordes is located here. You can even take a walk inside of it! Though it’s a bit of a short ceiling so taller people could find it a little difficult to walk through. Highly recommend this museum. It also features a Vulcan, a Hawk(the Red Arrows version) and and even engines of the Concorde! A lot of information inside this museum, but for people looking for more I would recommend going to the RAF museum in London.
Fantastic day out! Lots to see and do across the various buildings at the site that to see everything, you will need the best part of the whole day. Obvious main attraction is Concorde which is well presented and has loads and loads of interesting information to digest if you like to read all the info boards (me!) I was particularly impressed with the video presentations and the hands on interactive elements which are well designed and appealing to both kids and adults alike. I wanted to visit for quite a while but never got around to it until now. So glad we spontaneously decided to jump across and visit when we did as it really is a great day out with so much to see and do. Highly recommended for a visit.
This place really surprised me. So, so much more than a museum. Spread over a full airfield in many different aircraft hangars, there are more aircraft here than you can imagine. Get up close, see inside and imagine. Main attraction, Concorde is here. Stand below, touch the wheels, walk through the cabin, look inside the cockpit (scary that this could do over 1400 mph). All the history and details of all the aircraft are all here. We also loved the additional very informative talk on the restoration projects team. (Well worth adding) That hanger had everything...a random landrover, a girocopter, huge propeller aircraft engines to the engines off a nuclear bomb 😵...Very informative talk live on site explaining everything. I cannot recomend enough...100% recomend a visit. Don't go too late in the day though, you wont manage round it all before close. We were there at least 4-5 hrs and it went by in a flash. Loved it.
Fantastic place to visit. The website really doesn't do it justice! Walk on board a Concorde and other big planes. The military hanger has a spitfire, harrier, tornado, jaguar and others. Lots of interactive displays throughout. Nice little cafe. Definitely worth a trip.
Amazing experience with a large variety of planes from every era and purpose. The concorde is an absolute rarity and precious piece of the aviation's history. Very worthy!! Shout out to the staff for their dedication and passion.
If this museum only allowed you to enter the hanger and stare up at the Concorde at three times the admission price then it would still be worth going to. I actually got quite emotional upon seeing the sleek beauty up close. Maybe because I am a plane geek. Maybe because I am simply prone to emotions. Maybe because I felt sad that despite it's rare beauty I would never actually get to fly in one. But you get more than the Concorde. The Vulcan is vast and beautiful in a brutal way. The Harrier looks like it still fly sorties. The Jaguar remains an elegant fast jet. The old passenger planes offer a glimpse into the golden age of travel and perhaps also a peek into the innovations that we all take for granted today when we are lucky enough to take to the sky. There is a really great hanger that has loads of interactive activities for kids of all ages. My boys probably loved this the best. The lunch in the onsite cafe was your usual fayre at inflated prices but it was actually decent quality. Anyway, plane geek or not, get yourself to this museum. I have seen the Saturn V rocket up close and personal...the Concorde still took my breath away.

I had the best experience this morning heading out to Bass Rock for the photographic experience. The staff were so friendly, patient & kind. They really took care of everyone & that help make the experience. I can’t thank them enough. The boat out to Bass Rock was fab. We couldn’t Initially see Bass Rock for the fog! When we arrived the birds didn’t disappoint. There was lots of action, a few cute babies & plenty to see. Staff are protective of the birds & made sure they are looked after while we were there which was great. I was also lucky to meet some lovely people who were also on the trip. I would highly recommend the Bass Rock photographic experience. (Images included are just iPhone grabs!)
Just had a fab trip on a R.I.B..[Rigid Inflatable Boat!] On the "Three Islands Seabird Seafari!" Would highly recommend it. The guide on the boat was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly and willing to answer your questions. The boat was alot more comfortable than I thought. Took plenty of photos. Got lucky with the weather. Which is at the hands of mother nature. Would definitely recommend it as youre also supporting a good cause...in terms of the conservation of birds.
They have boat tours for different places like Isle of May (options of landing trips as well), Bass Rock trips (options for landings as well). Well managed and very friendly with great enthusiasm to show the nature and birds on island. I took Bass rock trip, it was super awesome. Charges for boat trip is very competitive. Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable.
We did one of the boat tours - 1 hour around two islands- and it was fun. My 3 kids liked it. Watch for bird poop! Crazy amount of birds in early July
Went there to experience the RIB boat 3 safari island tour. What an experience! Very interesting and a thrilling ride when the RIB went fast.
On Thursday, 24th July 2025, we booked a birdwatching experience with the Scottish Seabird Centre in North Berwick. As we were visiting my son Kiro at St Andrews University, we took public transport to the centre and boarded one of their boats. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We saw the islands of Craigleith and Bass Rock, where we were amazed to see thousands of birds nesting together in large colonies. The sight was truly impressive, and learning about the lighthouse's history added an extra layer of fascination. What struck most was how close we were able to get to the birds, it felt almost magical. To our delight, we even spotted a puffin, which was such a highlight. A truly mesmerising experience. If you are visiting this part of Scotland, we highly recommend booking one of these trips, it is unforgettable.
DId not get time to go on a tour, but explored the point and the gift shop! Nice selection of keepsakes for adults and children alike.
Went on Isle of May trip 11/4/25 and it was a wonderful experience We booked months ago and got lucky with the weather as it can sometimes be cancelled A small rib of 12 people and our guide Kevin. The island was beautiful, interesting and filled with of history but the main draw is the amount of seabirds We were surrounded by Puffins all the time Kevin our guide was excellent He was friendly and organised and worked hard to make sure everyone had the best time He also offered a guided tour of the island and was extremely knowledgeable about its history and the nature Wear sensible footwear and wrap up for the boat as seats are either outside or partially covered HIGHLY recommended

This castle is one worth visiting...if only for its setting. It is impressive and must have been something special in its day. Still impressive. One can access the battlements and enjoy the sea views. The doocot...dovecot...is closed off. There is plenty to justify a visit. There is parking by the entrance office. You don't have to park just of the road and walk a quarter of a mile to the entrance....unless you want to, of course. The steps up to the ramparts are steep via a narrow spiral staircase.
Easy to miss the tiny road to the parking area. Parking is free. The castle is beautiful. My favourite area of the castle was the prison where you can see the original medieval toilet. 🤷 There's no coffee shop in the area of the reception, so if you plan to eat there be prepared with sandwiches.
Perched on the cliffs east of North Berwick, Tantallon Castle is one of Scotland’s most spectacular coastal fortresses. Its towering red sandstone walls stand defiantly against the North Sea, offering sweeping views across the water to Bass Rock — often shrouded in mist and dotted with seabirds. Exploring the ruins feels like stepping straight into history. You can climb narrow stairways to the ramparts, peer through arrow slits, and imagine the castle as it once was — a mighty stronghold of the Douglas family in the 14th century. Even in ruin, it commands awe. The combination of wild sea air, crashing waves below, and the vast sky overhead makes Tantallon Castle unforgettable.
Wonderful walk through the history of the castle and area. Amazing views and loads of information, and great insight into the different stages of build through the life of the castle. Well worth a visit.
Dramatic castle ruins on the edge of the North Sea. Built by William Douglas @1350 besieged by James IV, James V and then finally Oliver Cromwell. The curtain wall is incredible and climbing to the top looking out on the Bass Rock makes this one of Scotlands Top 20 castles to visit. Part of Historic Scotlands spectacular attractions. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Really nice ruined castle. Very good for maybe 90 mins to two hours to potter around and enjoy the views. Lots of tight stairs to get up on the battlements though, so maybe avoid if you have mobility problems. No cafe, but there are toilets. Stop by Drift nearby if you need a caffeine and cake fix. Some parking close to the entrance, but if it's busy there's another bigger car park nearer the main road.
Absolutely love Tantallon Castle! Been here a few times and never get tired of it. The history, the views, and that stunning sight o Bass Rock — pure magic. A must-see spot on the Scottish coast!
There is a comfortable parking spot not far away from the entrance. The ruins are well maintained and a vast historical site can still be viewed and trespassed. Fair price, good place to bring the kids.

Absolutely loved our visit here with my 7 year old who loves Castles. Considering some parts were closed off to the public there was still lots to see in such beautiful gardens. Definitely recommend and a lovely little play park at the grounds too.
The castle ruins are interesting, though mostly ruins there’s plenty to explore. Such a beautiful place, the grounds are lovely, first time we have seen a Doocot. Would be even better in the summer with all the flowers out. Parking available along the road.
This was a lovely find. A very charming castle ruins with its own fascinating quirks, stood overlooking a beautifully kept, colourful garden - loved the Hollyhocks - with an unexpected bowls' lawn in immaculate condition. Nearby was a Doocot in excellent condition which allows you to walk in and imagine the scene, back in the day, when it was full of nesting pigeons.
Even half closed for maintenance, it was still worth going. Looking at the description boards in each section and comparing to the ruins really transported you back to what it might have been like. Helpful young man on the entrance counter. Beautifully kept gardens.
Fantastic little castle from 12th century to the time of Oliver Cromwell. Nice gardens too. About half of the castle can't currently be accessed, awaiting renovation, but still lots to explore. Full moat and bridge access. Huge cellars. Currently half price due to loss of access (£4.50) so great value. Takes about an hour to visit, free parking. Access is via gate on main road (back down slope from car park). No cafe, but pub just across the road.
Have been to more interesting castles. A lot of it was shut off and was not available. What there was made it just about worth visiting. The dovecot...they call it a doocot...was interesting. Not particularly memorable overall. The gardens are lovely.
Entrance fee at half price (£4,50 instead of £9) as there is currently no visitor access to the Guard House, South Entrance and De Vaux range.
I enjoyed my visit here. Considering some parts of the Castle are closed for renovation. There is still plenty to see and enjoy. I arrived by public transport there is a bus stop right outside and direct from North Berwick. Once inside, you are immediately drawn to the doocot which is really impressive. I was also impressed with the massive cellars, although I might not have fancied the working conditions. I was here about an hour, I had a good explore. There is a small souvenir shop and I should say it closed at lunchtime the day I visited. That didn't affect me and it was possibly because I was here in March, not the height of the season.

Amazing tranquility . White clean safe sandy beach. Great showers and toilet facilities too.
Big, beautiful, clean beach. Public toilets. I visited later in the day so can't comment on parking, the car park shuts at 10pm. Lovely big playground for kids in the woods (a short walk from the beach closer to the car park). The views on the beach are stunning. Very dramatic with the island in the background.
Great campsite facilities friendly staff and fantastic beach.
Stunning beach, plenty of parking, toilets, cold water showers, ice cream van , field for picnic and children's play area
Wonderful clean beach with warm water and scenery
Yellowcraig Beach - North Berwick Fabulous beach - clean and so unspoilt. With sand dunes. Beautiful views over the sea to little islands. Great for families as grassed parking is nearby (lots if locals were having picnics and simply playing) and just a few yards to the sand dunes. Clean toilets and even a refreshment van nearby. Not commercialised. Whilst we were there the Household Cavalry brought their horses along for exercise on their way from Edinburgh back to London - that’s how beautiful the beach is.
Stunning views and golden sands. Fantastic when the weather is nice. Saturday mornings are crowded and in general there are too many dogs around running loose for my liking. Fortunately it's a big enough beach! Wild camping with a fire permitted but do this responsibly.
A lovely beach for a walk or even a spot of camping. You can have a fire as long as it isn't in the grassy bits. Just watch out for the parking though; East Lothian Council don't like people parking overnight, so you'll likely get a ticket if you do. Best to park about a mile away in the small village and walk to the beach.

Astonishing beautiful beach with an amazing view on the castle ruin and the light house on the small island. Lots of parking spots available. Accessible until the sun goes down.
Absolutely love this spot! I privately owned beach that costs £5 to enter (2025) but ie worth every penny. Side paths are well maintained, the front seat view of Bass rock is beautiful. Scotlands smallest Harbour is interesting too, carved in the rocks 🪨
Seacliff Beach is a true hidden gem and an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for a breathtaking and tranquil escape on the East Lothian coast. Tucked away just outside North Berwick, this private beach offers a secluded and magical experience that feels a world away from the crowds. The moment you arrive and pay the small honesty box fee, the view that opens up is simply unforgettable. The sweep of golden sand is beautiful in itself, but it's the spectacular backdrop that makes Seacliff so special. To the east, the dramatic ruins of Tantallon Castle stand proudly on the cliffs, while out at sea, the iconic Bass Rock rises majestically from the water, often circled by thousands of gannets. What truly sets Seacliff apart, however, is its unique and historic charm. Tucked into a rocky outcrop at the western end of the beach is the quaint harbour, reportedly the smallest and oldest in Britain, hand-carved directly out of the sandstone. It’s an incredible sight and a testament to the area's rich history. Whether you're visiting for a quiet walk, a picnic with an incredible view, or to simply take in the magnificent scenery, Seacliff delivers. Its peaceful atmosphere, combined with the stunning natural and historical landmarks, makes it an unforgettable place. It's the perfect spot to find a moment of calm and feel a genuine connection with the rugged Scottish coastline.
This is a beautiful beach but getting more and more busy. Costs 5 pound to park can pay cash or card. The road down to car park isn't in good condition very bumpy. Toilets need a lot of work. They smell and were filthy. However the beach is a nice one. Nice views. Nice sand. Just need some more work on the road and toilets.
Stunning beach overlooking the Bass Rock. Costs £5 to enter, but definitely worth it. Was quite busy when we went, but kept walking to the far end and found a lovely private cove. A really beautiful place to visit.
Fantastic beach. £5 entry, card or cash. Beware of the narrow road down to the car park, slippery and potholes, but totally worth it.
Out of the way lovely beach so you really need a car and they charge £5 to enter the private road to the beach. But worth every penny as the beach is scenic surrounded by trees that offer tranquil private sandy areas to sit and enjoy your family day out.
£5 entrance by car is fully worth it. What a bidden gem!

It is unbelievable for me that there are sooo many birds living there…I’ve never seen such view before! Actually it’s quite interesting because I found maybe this place seems a little small for them??? Why they choose to gather here is a problem.
Lovely scenery round this you can see a lighthouse on the rock and plenty birds.
Nice view from nearly beach very close to castle. I recommend binoculars to observer birds on Bass Rock
We took the Sea-Safari boat over from North Berwick to appreciate the fascinating history of the Rock and Craigleith Island along with the spectacular sight of the tens of thousands of gannets, gulls, cormorants and the accompanying smells! Wonderful experience.
Natural wonder to see tens of thousands of Gannets and also other species in one single rock. It's very near to the coast.
Such a lovely scenic walk the views are great
Amazing seabird refuge! Lots of gannets and puffins and auks Well worth the boat trip!
Bass Rock is, according to the latest bird count, home to the world's largest colony of Northern Gannets (approximately 150,000 of them). From a distance the cliff just looks white, but when you get closer, you can identify thousands and thousands of gannets. They're here on Bass Rock from March until the end of October, when they will set out on a long journey down to the west coast of Africa. If you have time, book a boat tour that circles Bass Rock (or even a "landing trip") via the Scottish Seabird Centre.

The two very kind gentlemen are truly Welcoming and helpful... I would visit even just to meet them... in any case everything is very well looked after, small but nice... plus it's free, but better to donate!
Though a small museum, it was a goldmine of information about North Berwick, and the Bass Rock. Very educational and lots of interesting things to see. The two lassies behind the front desk were very knowledgeable, and happy to help.
Great place to find out local info of the area situated within the local library..1 floor up..it has a lift so is very accessible.
Always interesting to get the local history of places we visit. Lovely modern museum and a wide variety of displays. Helpful friendly staff too.
Our first visit to the museum and it was great. There is so much information about North Berwick and the surrounding area that we'll have to continue our visits here. The invigilator was very informative and pleasant, he made our visit feel quite relaxed.
Very interesting museum, covering all aspects of North Berwick and its local area: Golf, witches, railway, churches, tourism, shipping, fishing, geology, Bass Rock, wildlife and much more. Spacious, well laid out, professional, a friendly and enthusiastic welcome.
An excellent museum. Packed with interesting exhibits and information.

Booked a 2hr sea fishing boat trip for part of hubby's 50th on The Braveheart boat with Dougie. Dougie knows his stuff and was friendly and full of knowledge giving us an extra 40mins on boat. Equipment supplied. Very relaxing trip although boat can certainly move. Nice for a wee change.
Delightful little working harbour, well maintained with huts selling fresh fish to eat and beach huts offering crafts during the summer. Various boat trips are available but not during late autumn & winter months. Limited parking.
Always!! North Berwick a gorgeous place to visit. If you can get parked in the town. Chip shop next to the Ship in pub, chips brill, fish also. A stroll down to the harbour, or a walk along the beach. Or the seabird centre.
Absolutely fantastic! Stunning views and really welcoming local people.

I had a beautiful walk around the well kept gardens and ground! The aviary was nice too! The birds looked happy.
Beautiful gardens, flowerbeds and walkways to roam through which are greatly cared for. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about the aviary- the birds looked depressed in their small dull cages, please consider rehoming or freeing these animals. They deserve better than this.
I liked this garden area, I am not a big fan of caged birds, but it was a Victorian tradition. The flower selection was beautiful. The rose scent fills the air and varieties are lovely
Stunning park in heart of North Berwick there is parking but you have to pay best hitting the train or bus as its beautiful countryside. Near are the shops and places to eat a 10 min wall to the beach
Enjoyed the vibe very much at Fringe by the sea!
Beautifully maintained lovely walk and Fringe by the Sea was on . Very clean well organised with large stage and tent in-situ for good entertainment. Travis and other well known artists with free entertainment and numerous stalls. Hamza Yazin book signing .
Excellent park. Well kept, clean & tidy! Swings, slides, flying fox etc for the children (Inc bucket swing for extra security) large green area, friendly dogs welcome to run but lifting number 2's essential! Solid path all the way around, perfect for kids biking or a morning run! Car park at gate, free some months of the year, otherwise there is a parking charge. Look out for the beautiful birds kept on premises! :)
Great place and big play park for the kids. From July to September 2021 there is #thebigharetrail throughout North Berwick & one in Dirleton. Two of them are in the Loge grounds so a great start to the trail.

Nice well kept gardens.
(Translated by Google) As is usual on our visits to Scotland, we find ourselves again in a small but well-kept garden, where the War Memorial dedicated to the town's fallen during the First World War (1914-1918) is located, although there is also A tombstone in memory of the victims of the Second World War. It is an octagonal column at the top of which we find a unicorn, sitting on an equally octagonal pedestal with shields and inscriptions of names. This set in turn sits on an equally octagonal base with two steps. Some benches to sit on accompany the garden plants. Nice visit. NB Distillery is set against the stunning green landscape of North Berwick. The people are delightful, and the distillery itself is a beautiful space. I ordered two bottles to my flat (gin and rum) and was so impressed by the quick shipping! They offer wonderful drink choices for a gift or an upcoming party. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an exceptional experience within North Berwick.
Fabulous tour and tasting yesterday with our lovely and knowledgeable host Karen. We were the only 2 on the tour and it was very much a personal and enjoyable experience. Fascinating to hear all about the manufacturing and distillation processes and the history of the 2 stills Gloria and Gaynor, together with the different botanicals that go into the Gins, Vodka and Rums. The tastings were superb and my wife and I both agreed that the Navy Strength Gin was outstanding. We also sampled one of the Rums and came away with a bottle of their classic NB London Dry Gin (which was selected for QEII’s 90th Birthday celebrations) and bottle of NB Spiced Rum with a couple of bottles of Fever Tree Tonic thrown in. It really was the perfect and most relaxing way to spend the afternoon. Thank you very much Karen, it was lovely to meet you and for your assistance when leaving. You’re an enthusiastic ambassador for NB Distillery and we hope to see you again next time 🍸 🥃 👍
Wow ..... what a brilliant experience Alison welcomed us with a wee nip of the main drinks from NB Distillery in our preference tipple ... I ❤️ Rum, and Rita ❤️ Gin, it was so nice that we were accommodated in this distillery visit. So after a warm welcome, we were given a history of how the NB Gin came into existence and some lovely stories of its rise to popularity.... Then we headed up stairs to see the workshop from above and settle into the lounge area to try more nips of the full range of drinks 3 Rum types & 3 Gin types, pretzels, mixers, garnish and ice to chose how want it. So lovely to chat about NB drinks ... history and development. It even helped to drive there and park up overnight saving the costs of one way journey. Safe in the knowledge that there was camera security as well. I do like a nice large square ice cube in my drink, maybe you could add this as it adds a touch of class ... Thank you Jamie, Iain and Jenny especially Alison.
Great experience and tasting at a beautiful place with amazing ladies as our guides. We enjoyed here from good Gin and Good local experience and we highly recommend it to everyone who want to experience a non over tourism tour.
We had a fantastic time at North Berwick Distillery. Alison was an amazing host—so friendly, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. We thoroughly enjoyed sampling the drinks, and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the tour to friends and family—such a brilliant experience from start to finish.
We had a lovely evening hearing about the history of the distillery and tasting the gin and rum products. Our guide, Alison, was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. The ambiance of the tasting room was relaxed. We felt it was good value and would definitely recommend it.
My wife and I had an absolutely fabulous time on the 'Ginspiration' tour. Our guide was warm and welcoming and full of fun. She contributed greatly to what was a five star experience. She had a deep knowledge of the history of NB Gin and the processes involved in it's creation. The gin (and rum) itself is an absolute pleasure on the pallet. She also had plenty little bits of advice and suggestions for different ways to enjoy the spirits. We couldn't recommend this tour highly enough. What a brilliant way to spend a Saturday evening.
We visited NB for their Ginspiration Tour, which was fab! Jenny was a brilliant guide, chatting us through production and then a tasting of their gins. With tasters and two drinks provided, I'd strongly reccomend following the tour with dinner for a great evening out. Thanks so much!

The lobster hatchery is located near to the Seabird Centre on the headland projecting into the Forth. It raises lobsters from eggs to a size which is viable enough to be released back into the sea. The hatchery is fascinating and you can see tiny lobsters swirling around in tanks at the hatchery, with lots of information about them. It fulfills a conservation purpose supporting the lobster populations in the sea. Cynically one could say that it ensures a ready supply for fishermen and the restaurants nearby. But it's well worth visiting, go and take a look!
This is a project to increase the lobster population in the Firth of Forth. It's a small project but the staff are very knowledgeable.
Fantastic conservation project. Very knowledgeable and experienced staff. Doing the best with what they have!
Very small place to visit... but it does good work !!!

Outstanding stained glass windows with unusually good access with the mezzanine floor. Very accommodating volunteers
Beautiful place, with lots of retail shops around and a couple charity shops. Peaceful, calm, romantic and nostalgic place to walk with your loved ones.
I was here for an art exhibition - Nicky Stannage and Nat Spring. The church was warm and bright and very welcoming. The art was excellent!!
I stopped in one Friday afternoon and was greeted by a lovely lady. I asked about the town for I was only there for a few hours. She gave me suggestions, allowed me to walk around the church and even relax for a bit and play a piano in the main area when you enter. I had at that point been away from home in Kentucky for two weeks, and it was so nice to play music and worship our Father who knows no distance from us.
If you're on holiday in North Berwick this is the church to go to,especially of you have children or infants, and even teenagers! The place is full of acceptance and friendliness and makes you More than welcome. Not only that but the worship is meaningful and modern without being 'happy clappy'. A good message is always preached, which applies Biblical truth to our everyday experience. Check it out.

It's a beautiful Church. Sadly I was attending a funeral service for my first visit, but impressed with the elders on duty and the present Minister.

Always a warm welcome when you arrive. Spacious inside. Seating well arranged from one person to a family sitting together. It has been wonderful to be able to sing again.
What a beautiful church with so much history. My wife and I were welcomed by everyone we spoke to, before and after the Easter service. We were also given some of the tulips that were used to decorate the church. What a welcome to North Berwick.
What a warm, welcoming church, so thankful for the invitation. 🙏🙏🙏

Very helpful staff, excited to host an event here soon

We weren't in it. The bus stop is outside!

You have to visit this market at least once a year! Obviously much busier in the summer months. Much quieter in the colder months but still goes. Consistent market traders, with some car boot/ vintage / collector folk in a separate section. There's more stuff in the market than what I mention here, so I apologise for missing stuff out that's irrelevant to me. I find it useful for: Butchers van and sometimes other local butchers/farmers. Ridiculously cheap compared to supermarket prices. Especially good for restauranteurs, etc. Greengrocers. Usually local stuff featured in there too. Hardware. Nails, ironmongery, bolts, door latches, etc, etc. Screwfix prices or less, and always good quality. Unusual locally made sweeties. E-ciggy stuff. Big range of more unusual stuff I haven't seen elsewhere. Kitchen stuff. Industrial workwear. Clothing. Bed linen. And also towels and things. Books and DVDs. Hundreds of them. Cheapy kids toys. There's usually, but not always, a Lego collection guy there in the summer. The market has loos. Not the most glamorous of loos but clean enough, with water and paper, etc, and easy access. Burger van type food. Not the healthiest of stuff but cheaply priced. Hot donuts should be a mandatory purchase for everyone. And more than enough parking. Best time to go is between 9.30 and 12.
Sad to see how badly this market has gone downhill over the years. Barely any stalls anymore which is reflected in the small amount of people turning up. Maybe time to consider changing the frequency to once a month or once a fortnight as this may attract more traders and customers!
My god its gone downhill, mabey making the stalls free for a while would be a good idea . Theres 3 times the stalls at graigpark park and ride last sunday of each month
The market these days is a shadow of its former self. High stall rental, no shelter on most stalls, poor road in, no signs anywhere, no money put into it, means 6 stalls at most these days.
Nice market when the weathers nice as more sellers turn up. Can be hit or miss, as sometimes theres hardly anyone there. Used to be amazing years ago. Alot quieter nowadays
Unfortunately not many traders or car boot sellers on a gorgeous day. Believe the cost to trade had been increased recently which is putting people off selling here which is a shame.
Hardly any stalls I walked round and heading home 48 miles after 15 minutes. Very poor the worst I've seen in 8 years
Love this market. Fresh fish,, meat and veg at bargain prices - a good mix plus cat boot stalks too
