Most beautiful place in zone, clean, must be visiting!
The beach is beautiful, however we found human excrements in the water for the second year in a row. We’ve noticed the park workers and they said is probably due to the boats in the bay close to the beach. This is unacceptable considering that beach people have park regulations to respect and each car pays for the entrance.
Parking is €12 per day, but the beach gets overcrowded and even finding a spot is uncertain. Long lines at the entrance and people packed too close together make it less enjoyable. Only recommend outside peak season.
Visited peak Season in August. As others say, wasn’t even anywhere to put a towel down. Water was murky, kept getting whiffs of rotten eggs. As much as the fine sand was nice, it gets stuck to everything, still finding it days later. Car was covered inside from it. Avoid.
At just 20 mins drive from Bormes-les-Mimosas, la plage de l’Estagnol is a quaint little sand beach, with clear and wonderful warm waters, beautiful views and settings in a well preserved Mediterranean bay. It has a nearby parking that costs 11 € where you can park your car under beautiful pine trees. There are two restaurants offering a good choice of refreshments and foods. Highly recommended for families with kids. Make sure to get there early as it gets busy very quickly.
Golden sand Beach, it's not deep at sore, can go in water. A big parking spaces. Entry ticket is 12 euro
Personal favourite. Calm hidden gem with 2 lovely restaurants that offer reasonable prices. Great for tanning and shallow waters. No screaming kids. 10 euro per car entry. You are able to picnic in the forest so do bring your picnic table and chairs.
10€ is not so expensive to park, yes the price is high at the restaurant but it’s understandably because staff should have salary and it’s a short time for this kind of business. Over the drinks and the food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nice surrounding...must go sailing to really enjoy
As President of the British Association of the VAR I confirm that the tour arranged by us was well received by the majority of the 20 in the group. You always get one.Perhaps not a Swedish expression We expected the tour to be in French in such a historic place. The guide was excellent. I encourage our members to integrate as much as possible we are after all in France. We plan another trip next winter
The beach is disgusting. They should spend the ridiculous price of the car park on cleaning up the beach. Rubbish everywhere !
'Having read up on the Forts history beforehand the guided visit met up fully with the expectations and I have personally received comments as the well-being organiser that it was a very informative and enjoyable tour. The majority of the BAV members that live in France have a knowledge of the French language which is why this highly recommended visit was proposed to its members. A big thank you goes to all concerned for accepting us as your first visitors of 2023 '
So we get there at the gate. What we have to pay for parking!? What we have to buy a ticket to just get to the Fort!? What we can't buy the tickets there at the location!? So I was bit frustrated and was not the coolest guy to be around. However we were able to purchase the tickets online before the next tour. This is when I started to feel bad for my attitude toward the staff and started enjoying the beautiful scenery of both the location and smiles. Marie the tour guide was the most wonderful and charismatic person. Enthused about Fort de Bregancon she captivated both the crowd and me to the point where I stopped listening and started wondering if she was single.
This was a fabulous outing, and I have recommended it to another international group. My only gripe is that there were was a lot of information that included numbers and years, but it was fine for the most part. I did learn some new words e.g. "double tomber l'eau"...I think that is the spelling. Maybe a leaflet with key dates for visitors or give the main website for information so non French speakers (or even French speakers) can read before their trip. It was an all round superb visit.
In mistral weather ( big wind ) it was great ... it accentuates the contrast of the landscape ... I have not visited the fortress of the president, but I made the rolling stone on the coastal paths ...(les sentiers du littoral ). the parking is not free ... Maybe the commune has no money ..... a little surprised anyway. .. here we murder the tourists with exhorbitant prices .. damned ... The restaurant frenchy of proximity is shabby and expensive. ...
Sadly not open for public when we where there, but a nice area, worth a short trip when you r in the area!

Lovely beach, recommended to visit the beach at sunset, the beach is public but the parking is paid, there is no closing hour, you can stay as long as you want. The beach is next to "Fort de Brégançon" the summer resident of the French president. So you will expect lots of guards and patrols.
a very beautiful place to swim in clear, clean water - definitely recommended! 💙💦🐟🌊🛥 parking costs €11 for normal vehicle, which is quite expensive
Given the other beaches in the region, this one is fairly average without anything special to offer. On top of that, the beach is fenced all around, so even exploring the area is highly limited. Walking to the nearby Fort is impossible. Paid parking only, 11 Euros for a regular car. Avoid unless getting ripped off by vineyard millionaires is on your bucket list.
September 2021 . Wonderful place , you can park your car or sleep you n your campervan. We came with a rooftent and morning swimming just breathtaking. Place MUST TO BE
Nice, really flat beach. The water is clear and the visitors are polite and responsible. The parking space is close but beware the acorns falling from the trees! The water is clear enough to snorkel, however, there is not much to see as there is not much sea life in this area.
Beautiful beach! Parking is €11 for the whole day (€8 after 5:30 pm). It gets crowded, so better to arrive early. Limited shade, but there are showers and a small bistro.
No music rules ignored and worse, it is like a public urinal and site owners dont care. A picture of the locals who think this is acceptable. We have been coming here for 7 years, but think we will search out somewhere better The picture was man flashing his genitalia next to our 6 and 12 year old children and he didn't care. Then the noise... One night 20 Italian youths in 2 transit vans music and dancing to midnight. 2nd day drinken people with music all day and urinating wherever without any repercussions. Did used to like this place but no longer.

(Translated by Google) Departure from hike for the coastal walk (you need to allow 4 hours one way and 3 hours - 3.5 hours for the return). The place is magnificent. Cap Bénat being privatized, the coast remains wild with numerous coves. Notice to sports enthusiasts because the trail is sporty and even dangerous on sections. The views are magnificent for the first km but when you reach the middle of the route, you go back up to the heights, the path narrows and is sometimes dangerous and the views become rare. I would like to point out that suitable shoes are necessary and the walk is not possible with children. Personally, if you want to enjoy it with your family, it would be more judicious to leave from the other side (Le Lavandou) and embark on the coastal walk taking you to the 12 coastal beaches. Top accessibility for children over 6 years old.

(Translated by Google) ACTIVITY ALERT: Bormes Ski & Wake This activity is harmful and dangerous. It shouldn't take place here, but rather near the harbor. First, the noise is unbearable: we can hear the engines roaring all day long, and when the wind blows in our direction, the smell of fuel becomes very strong. Are there no measures in place to reduce the noise of boat engines running continuously? Are maintenance and filter replacements carried out sufficiently to allow such intensive use? The environmental impact is also worrying. The constant comings and goings seriously disturb marine life. Bormes displays coastal protection signs, yet allows this type of activity, which has a high impact. Finally, safety seems to be neglected: the boats are not equipped with propeller guards, and the drivers arrive and depart at full speed. I've seen some people passing close to swimmers at excessive speeds, which is extremely dangerous. Setting up such an intensive activity on a beach runs the risk of a serious, even tragic, accident.

It's perfectly legitimate here, where vacationers seek accessible entertainment and leisure activities. From an environmental perspective, it's important to remember that the impact is studied and controlled. Traffic is localized and regulated, without significantly threatening marine life. Bormes, which is committed to coastal protection, would not have authorized this activity if it posed a real danger to the ecosystem. On the contrary, it contributes to the local economy and attracts tourism that supports many families. As for safety, it is a priority in this sport. The boats are maintained, the pilots are trained, and the sailing areas are monitored. The rules ensure that swimmers and sailors can coexist safely. PROVIDED THAT SWIMMERS RESPECT THE REGULATIONS AND DO NOT SWIM IN THE WATER SKI CHANNEL RESERVED FOR BOATS!!! Locating this activity on the beach provides a structured, supervised leisure activity that is enjoyed by both residents and visitors. It's an asset for our community, both economically and for tourism and socially! A big thank you to Bormes Ski Wake for bringing us so many wonderful times and happiness for our children and families. (Original) ACTIVITÉ BORMES SKI WAKE AU TOP! This is an amazing refurnished monastery. It is beautifully cool inside. I rode to it on my bike from Collobrières - a lovely ride of around an hour and a half (less if you're fitter than me!). The return journey downhill was lovely.
Magical place. This monastery is really in the middle of nowhere. Don't be put off by the twisty roads that lead you there. Amazing, how in former times, people would build such a massive construction so far from anything else, they were really searching silence and seclusion. Equally amazing, how after a long time of neglect and decline, another generation resurrected the monastery from ruins and once again filled it with life. Worldly as well as spiritual. Take your time when you visit, this is not a place to rush through.
A place of profound peace and spiritual beauty. Monastère Notre-Dame de Clémence de La Verne is a remarkable sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Maures forest. Surrounded by untouched nature, the monastery offers a deeply serene and contemplative atmosphere that invites silence and reflection. The restored architecture is both impressive and respectful of its history, blending harmoniously with the natural landscape. Visitors are welcomed with quiet dignity, and the presence of the monastic community adds a sense of timeless grace to the entire experience. The small boutique offers handmade items and monastic products, allowing guests to take home a meaningful reminder of this sacred place. An unforgettable visit — both spiritually and culturally enriching.
Beautiful place! Definitely worth a visit - even if it’s a detour.
You have to do that! Most of people who visit the Gulf of Saint-Tropez miss historical sites as La Verne and others in the surrounding area.
Unique, wonderfully redone classic French province monastery
Awesome place to visit. The road is narrow but in a good condition and paved to the top. I recommend traveling to Croix d‘Anselme and then to the Monastery. Otherwise, the navigation may try to take the D214 for the majority of the journey to the top but that road is not fully paved on one section. The D14 to Croix d‘Anselme and the D214 to the top is better.

Super nice winery in Provence. During the short jeep safari you not only see various vineyards, but also a lot of other nature, as the area is only partly cultivated and partly left to wild nature, including wild lavender, bees and bats. Breathtaking landscape. The wines taste very clear. Our absolute favorite: the Prestige series (whether red, white or rose....all delicious!). Thanks for a lovely afternoon!
What a great experience we had visiting Domaine de La Sangliere. Really enjoyed the jeep safari and also that we got to taste all the vines. Realy makes you understand the quality, variety and vinification. Also easy to select what you want to buy afterwards. Thanks to Arthur and Augustine for being great hosts during the visit. - Magnus
We did the tour and wine tasting with Jérémie as a gift to my grandfather. She was positive, knowledgeable and seemed to have a real passion for wine. The tour of the vineyard was beautiful, and after, we got to try 9 different wines accompanied by two amuse-bouches. Overall it was a great experience at a good price and I would recommend it to anyone who likes wine!
What a lovely, intimate setting! When we pulled into the parking lot, we were the only ones there and got to enjoy a private tasting. The staff was friendly and the range of rosé was delicious—so much so, we bought some. The prices are so reasonable, you definitely get more than you pay for. And who can resist watching a vineyard dog living the good life?
Wonderful Tour !! Very friendly, informal and knowledgeable , beautiful wine tasting and accompanying canapes .
We had a great tour with Jérémie around the vineyard followed by a wine tasting. She was very positive and told us many interesting things about the wine and the vineyard. It was definitely a highlight of our vacation. Highly recommended.
We joined the wine tour with our group of 6. It was a lot of fun and very informative. We also enjoyed the great wine a lot! Thanks to our lovely guide who entertained us so well!
You should try the "Safari Tour". We got to experience the vines First Hand and tryed the wines after. It`s a nice Family Business.

Beautiful Winery and a wonderful experience ! We booked the full estate tour (which is free if you buy bottles) and it was a very comprehensive experience learning about the history of the estate and the family as well as the different grapes and parcels that are planted. The biodynamic way of production and lots of Infos about the terroir and how the climate affects different parts of the vineyard. All of this was very helpful when we tasted 6 different wines to understand how the different grapes and parcels affect the aroma. Lovely staff and very beautiful chateau 10/10
It was an okay experience. I called to see if they do tours and the lady told me that they’re open all day until 8pm and I can drop by whenever. But when we got there, it turns out there was another group that booked a cycling tour around the estate. Wish she told me we can do that over the phone. Anyways there’s wine tasting and it’s free only if you buy a bottle of wine from them otherwise I think you pay 13 euros. The woman working there was friendly and she explained the types of wines for us. She gave us a map and told us to walk around the estate, but it was confusing so we just left. Also they don’t have a liquor license so people aren’t allowed to drink the bottles at the property. It’s a pretty estate but a subpar experience. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have the bicycle tour.
A huge thank you to Tristan and to Angelique for a spontaneous welcome and tasting during a professional trip in the area. This chateau winery simply breaths its wonderful history, while producing original and beautiful wines. The manor house and landscaping are immaculate, which lend a clue to the equally important care of their vineyard. Malherbe’s biodynamic farming ensures disease-free grapes and the preservation of the coastal environment. We loved the passionate presentation of Angelique and can’t wait to return with our own clients in 2026!
Beautiful place. The visitor's facilities are top notch with comfortable couches and tables. Personalized attention from knowledgeable and attentive stuff. All wines were delicious and interesting While it was difficult to choose a bottle, we went for a complex, full body red. Highly recommended.
GO HERE NOW! By far, the best winery we visited along this road. The grounds and house are breathtaking from the outside, but the real magic awaits behind the front door. We were greeted by Beatrice who was so friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, as she explained their terroirs, biodynamic approach, and characteristics of each wine. I personally preferred the wines from the Pointe de Diable terroir and bought a bottle of the rosé; I was tempted to get a case, but it’d be too much to carry and they don’t ship to USA (yet…). However, what I really fell in LOVE with was the tasting room and its rustic French countryside aesthetic. I truly didn’t want to leave. 😍
Very nice vineyard. You can taste the red, white and rose varieties they have. Each color has 2 wine types from two different vineyards. Tasting is free if you buy a bottle otherwise its 10€ each.
We had a great time on our cycling tour of the vineyards. We were fascinated by the explanation of the different situations of the landscape for the wine production. Also the long history of the wine area. The tasting in the old building was very atmospheric.
Really enjoyed the wine tasting. If you buy a bottle you get the wine tasting for free :)
