Brégançon Fort, located in the commune of Bormes-les-Mimosas on the Mediterranean coast, is a historic castle perched on a rocky summit. It has served as a presidential residence for the President of France from 1968 to 2013 and is now open to the public as a national monument. The surrounding area boasts an exceptional floral heritage with over 700 plant species, including 90 varieties of mimosa.
Nice surrounding...must go sailing to really enjoy

As President of the British Association of the VAR I confirm that the tour arranged by us was well received by the majority of the 20 in the group. You always get one.Perhaps not a Swedish expression We expected the tour to be in French in such a historic place. The guide was excellent. I encourage our members to integrate as much as possible we are after all in France. We plan another trip next winter
Bav C — Google review
The beach is disgusting. They should spend the ridiculous price of the car park on cleaning up the beach. Rubbish everywhere !
Geoff F — Google review
'Having read up on the Forts history beforehand the guided visit met up fully with the expectations and I have personally received comments as the well-being organiser that it was a very informative and enjoyable tour. The majority of the BAV members that live in France have a knowledge of the French language which is why this highly recommended visit was proposed to its members. A big thank you goes to all concerned for accepting us as your first visitors of 2023 '
BAV W — Google review
So we get there at the gate. What we have to pay for parking!? What we have to buy a ticket to just get to the Fort!? What we can't buy the tickets there at the location!? So I was bit frustrated and was not the coolest guy to be around. However we were able to purchase the tickets online before the next tour. This is when I started to feel bad for my attitude toward the staff and started enjoying the beautiful scenery of both the location and smiles. Marie the tour guide was the most wonderful and charismatic person. Enthused about Fort de Bregancon she captivated both the crowd and me to the point where I stopped listening and started wondering if she was single.

This was a fabulous outing, and I have recommended it to another international group. My only gripe is that there were was a lot of information that included numbers and years, but it was fine for the most part. I did learn some new words e.g. "double tomber l'eau"...I think that is the spelling. Maybe a leaflet with key dates for visitors or give the main website for information so non French speakers (or even French speakers) can read before their trip. It was an all round superb visit.
Sandra S — Google review
In mistral weather ( big wind ) it was great ... it accentuates the contrast of the landscape ... I have not visited the fortress of the president, but I made the rolling stone on the coastal paths ...(les sentiers du littoral ). the parking is not free ... Maybe the commune has no money ..... a little surprised anyway. .. here we murder the tourists with exhorbitant prices .. damned ... The restaurant frenchy of proximity is shabby and expensive. ...

Domaine de la Sanglière is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Provence, offering an authentic and warm experience. The vineyards provide breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, making it a perfect setting for wine enthusiasts. Visitors can enjoy a tour through the vineyards in a Land-Rover Defender, learning about the domaine's history and making stops at scenic viewpoints. The staff is passionate and welcoming, providing an intimate tasting experience with delicious wines at reasonable prices.
Super nice winery in Provence. During the short jeep safari you not only see various vineyards, but also a lot of other nature, as the area is only partly cultivated and partly left to wild nature, including wild lavender, bees and bats. Breathtaking landscape. The wines taste very clear. Our absolute favorite: the Prestige series (whether red, white or rose....all delicious!). Thanks for a lovely afternoon!
Maria S — Google review
What a great experience we had visiting Domaine de La Sangliere. Really enjoyed the jeep safari and also that we got to taste all the vines. Realy makes you understand the quality, variety and vinification. Also easy to select what you want to buy afterwards. Thanks to Arthur and Augustine for being great hosts during the visit. - Magnus

We did the tour and wine tasting with Jérémie as a gift to my grandfather. She was positive, knowledgeable and seemed to have a real passion for wine. The tour of the vineyard was beautiful, and after, we got to try 9 different wines accompanied by two amuse-bouches. Overall it was a great experience at a good price and I would recommend it to anyone who likes wine!
Leonie H — Google review
What a lovely, intimate setting! When we pulled into the parking lot, we were the only ones there and got to enjoy a private tasting. The staff was friendly and the range of rosé was delicious—so much so, we bought some. The prices are so reasonable, you definitely get more than you pay for. And who can resist watching a vineyard dog living the good life?
Elena — Google review
Wonderful Tour !! Very friendly, informal and knowledgeable , beautiful wine tasting and accompanying canapes .

We had a great tour with Jérémie around the vineyard followed by a wine tasting. She was very positive and told us many interesting things about the wine and the vineyard. It was definitely a highlight of our vacation. Highly recommended.

La Favière Beach is the largest and most popular beach in the area, featuring fine sand and a range of amenities for visitors of all ages. It is an ideal destination for families, offering access to diving schools, water sports facilities, and a charming marina. Additionally, the beach is home to a delightful beach bar and restaurant where visitors can enjoy delicious fish dishes and refreshing drinks.
Great Beach, especially for families. The artificial bay created by the groyne is perfect for kids. There is little or no current and it is closed off by a rope with buoys and has a very shallow slope. This beach also has very fine sand, which is perfect for building castles.

Outdoor Activities
Plage de Cabasson is a picturesque beach that offers stunning views of Fort Bregancon, the island of Porquerolles, and Rade de la Badine. The shallow and warm waters make it safe for kids to play, while the glittering sand adds to its charm. Families and pets are welcome here, and despite being popular, it remains relatively peaceful.
Lovely beach, recommended to visit the beach at sunset, the beach is public but the parking is paid, there is no closing hour, you can stay as long as you want. The beach is next to "Fort de Brégançon" the summer resident of the French president. So you will expect lots of guards and patrols.
Elia K — Google review
a very beautiful place to swim in clear, clean water - definitely recommended! 💙💦🐟🌊🛥 parking costs €11 for normal vehicle, which is quite expensive
Kubra K — Google review
Given the other beaches in the region, this one is fairly average without anything special to offer. On top of that, the beach is fenced all around, so even exploring the area is highly limited. Walking to the nearby Fort is impossible. Paid parking only, 11 Euros for a regular car. Avoid unless getting ripped off by vineyard millionaires is on your bucket list.
HectorMaestroOlala — Google review
September 2021 . Wonderful place , you can park your car or sleep you n your campervan. We came with a rooftent and morning swimming just breathtaking. Place MUST TO BE
Kate R — Google review
Nice, really flat beach. The water is clear and the visitors are polite and responsible. The parking space is close but beware the acorns falling from the trees! The water is clear enough to snorkel, however, there is not much to see as there is not much sea life in this area.
Lisa L — Google review
Nice one
GEMJI A — Google review
Beautiful beach! Parking is €11 for the whole day (€8 after 5:30 pm). It gets crowded, so better to arrive early. Limited shade, but there are showers and a small bistro.
Luca — Google review
Absolutely rubbish one of the worst beach in area €11 for parking per car Sand dirty and shallow sea highly not recommended There is many better beaches for free

Beach
Plage du Pellegrin is one of the stunning beaches in Bormes les Mimosas, located in the south of France. The beach boasts crystal-clear waters and soft white sand, providing an ideal setting for sunbathing and swimming. Surrounded by trees, it offers natural shade on hot days. Visitors can also enjoy activities like snorkeling and kayaking while admiring the beautiful scenery.
Absolutely beautiful. Went with my children and it was perfect. So good we visited twice. Water was clear and good for snorkelling too.
Liz S — Google review
Beach is ok, but not fantastic. Parking is well organized but expensive. It was a bit of a drive to get there. The beach has plenty of services, a shop, ice cream shops, cafés. In my opinion, I can find a better beach close by. Snorkeling here was not exciting.
Tore B — Google review
10€ entry for car; trees in the parking lot, but several with berries so choose carefully. Keep foot protection on the beach, I removed up several broken glass bottles left by previous visitors. Several dozen picnic tables in good shape, trash cans easily accessible. Beach itself easily accessible, covered 70% by algae. Dogs on leash accepted. Water quality #pavillonbleu
Beach B — Google review
I had a great time. It's big and there's lot of space and free parking not forgetting numerous restaurants.
Stella K — Google review
The beach is large, more than enough space, the water is clear and perfect for swimming. But where does the insanely high (12 euro!) entrance fee go to? The road to the parking and the parking itself is full of large (sharp) loose rocks which cause a high chance of punctures. Also, the beach is full of dead, dried seaweed which with a bit of wind gets absolutely everywhere. I don't want to sound like a weewee, but for the 12 euro's you would think they at least clean the beach or tidy up the entrance and parking.
Shloeberr — Google review
Beautiful and clean beach spot with a lot of shape too 😊
Nicolas M — Google review
Not worth it: Parking area 11€ (same price for the beaches next to Plage du Pellegrin) It's not possible to park your car somewhere else without paying money. The beach itself is very crowded in July. The worst thing is, that at the time we went there it was full of smelly dried seaweed, probably more seaweed than sand. The water was not really clear and also full of seaweed.
Lara G — Google review
Nice sandy beach with a sandy and gradual entry into the water. Along the beach there are trees, among which you can hide from the sun in hot weather. Entrance to the parking lot to the beach - 11 euros.

Plage de la Mère Dieu is a secluded and intimate beach with fine white sand, clear turquoise waters, and rocky areas. It offers a tranquil setting for swimming and enjoying the natural beauty. The beach is known for its crystal-clear waters, small fish, and some corals near the rocks. Visitors can also witness stunning sunsets due to the bay's orientation.
(Translated by Google) A fantastic beach where you are virtually alone. There are a few algae on the left and right, but in the middle you can swim undisturbed in crystal clear water. There are small fish and a few corals on the rocks. Because of the bay and the islands, the water here is usually rather calm. You can also watch a great sunset here. You can reach this beach via a path from Plage de Cabasson within 20 minutes. The path is very beautiful, with lots of great views and highly recommended. You should just be prepared for a bit of climbing.

Lovely quiet beach, white sand and turquoise water. There are quite a few boats anchored here which makes swimming slightly less agreeable and there is also a lot of natural debris from the sea which might put people off.

(Translated by Google) I put two stars and I'm nice but you will understand why... having already tasted their wine several times and a big fan of their white, passing not very far from La Londe and Bormes les Mimosas I decide to make a detour to Clos Mireille for the first time and surely the last. A very pretty estate, recognized throughout France but things get tough as soon as I enter the cellar. cold welcome, the outfit does not make the monk as they say, they look at me from head to toe as if I had nothing to do here, I am stunned (and yes I am coming back from the beach, I am in shorts, t-shirt and flip flops) certainly not dressed like most of the customers around me but hey, ready to buy a few bottles I'm not even offered to taste their wine, incredible in a cellar of this reputation and with wines costing at least 25 euros! well I left with nothing! I'm not going to buy it and spend a few hundred euros if I can't even taste it! Review your ways of treating your customers and take an example from the small estates around you, whose wines are certainly not like yours but who at least have some good manners and a sense of welcome.

Multi-croisières - Excursion catamaran Port Cros Porquerolles - Privatisation bateau offers an amazing experience for those who love sailing. With a small group setting, guests can enjoy sharing and exchanging with the passionate skipper Ludovic. The trip takes you to magnificent spots with crystal clear waters for swimming and heavenly anchorages. Families and teenagers alike appreciate the sporty aspect of the outing and the kindness of the skipper.
We had a wonderful half day cruise with Ludo (the owner) on his awesome catamaran to the national parc of Port Cros. Ludo speaks english really well and was very helpful and explained about the area and sailing. We anchored near a bay to go for a swim and snorkel, which were provided by him. We will definitely book with him again when we return for our next holiday. A must-do in Le Lavandou!

(Translated by Google) What can I say, I could spend hours commenting on our outing with Ludovic, but it is better that you make an appointment and benefit from his experience as a professional skipper. Show and training guaranteed. A real pro and above all simple with even shelter for the lunch break. In short, make this absolutely obligatory outing to Lavandou Thank you again Ludovic, and DRV in Le Havre for your next start in competition. Lawrence the Norman (Original) Que dire, je pourrais passer des heures pour commenter notre sortie avec Ludovic, mais il est préférable que vous preniez RDV et profiter de son expérience de skipper professionnelle.
