3rd year i came to L’Estartit with a dive holiday by Maidiving and did a week of diving with Unisub. Simply said Unisub is amazing! Dive trips are well arranged with a good extended briefing of the dive site in question. Preferences are taken into consideration. Questions are always answered and everything works and is in tip top shape! Special thanks to Willy captain and giving us the briefings for adding to the wonderful holiday we had and first sailing towards the Dolphins instead of harbor. Keep going and see you next time!

Absolutely outstanding snorkeling experience with Unisub. We were a group of 9, a mix of adults, teens, and younger children, with one very nervous, first-time snorkeller (me!), and one 9 year-old who wasn't initially super enthusiastic. The company uses wetsuits which was fantastic for buoyancy and they bring a big team to ensure a really safe, well-run experience. They could not have been more patient and professional. They managed all the groups including ours with such positively, fun, and understanding. We saw lots of gorgeous fish. Highly recommend this group if you are planning any snorkeling in the area

Relaxed diving school that always endeavours to solve any problems! Our daughters felt very comfortable. Big thanks especially to Marc, who was always absolutely patient, always positive and made diving fun for our daughters despite small obstacles. Next time again with Unisub and Marc!

I completed my PADI Open Water Diver course with Unisub, and unfortunately, my experience was not positive. While I met some kind and professional instructors and guides later on (special thanks to Roig and Olatz), the course itself left me very disappointed. Our assigned instructor, Marc, consistently created a stressful and discouraging atmosphere from the very first day. Both myself and another student in the group were repeatedly yelled at, with comments such as “I’m losing my patience with you girls”, “I’m a Latin guy, I’m getting angry”, or "I don't see that you will have a second day in this course" after only 4 hours into the course! Instead of fostering a safe and supportive learning environment, his behavior often made us more fearful of him than of being underwater. Over the four days, there were frequent outbursts, passive-aggressive remarks, and even actions such as splashing water aggressively at our faces! At one point, when another student was shivering and visibly cold after being in the water for almost 4 hours, she was told it was her own fault for not completing the skills quickly enough. This lack of empathy and professionalism was extremely disheartening. At one point, a diver from another dive center even came over to us and asked us if everything is okay after witnessing the extremely unprofessional and practically bullying behavior from our instructor, which shows me that his behavior was not just our own impression, but even felt by others. Both of us independently requested a different instructor, but due to scheduling it was not possible. What was more disappointing was that after raising these concerns, no one from the management followed up or checked in with us. We were left to finish the course under the same conditions, which was extremely frustrating. I truly believe this approach was not in line with PADI standards or with what a student should expect from a diving course. Learning to dive should be about building confidence and feeling safe in the water, not about being intimidated or belittled. While Unisub may generally be a good dive school with capable instructors, my experience with Marc unfortunately overshadowed everything else and turned what should have been an exciting milestone into something close to traumatic. For that reason, I would not recommend doing your course here. There are other schools where students are supported, encouraged, and treated with the respect that this kind of training requires.

Absolutely wow! I took my PADI Advanced Open Water Course here and my experience was super positive. The quality of the materials and the boat were top-notch, staff was very professional, safety measures as well as environment were clearly taken into account and administration was quick and helpful (I booked only a few days in advance but this did not give any trouble). What I liked most was that although it is clearly a very large dive school with a full schedule and lots of attendees in summer, it still felt very personal. The dive site itself, mostly around the coast and the Medes islands, was of course also marvellous. Massive shout-out to my instructor Bruce, who was very kind and helpful and gave very solid in-shop instructions on top of the online theory, really taking the time needed. Some other positives: you can park for free, even in summer, in the sandy area right out front of the dive spot, just arrive on time to secure a spot. Also, together the instructors at the school speak a large array of languages fluently, so no need to worry about language barriers if you are, for example, travelling with children or teenagers.
