Absolutely nice hiking way through the coast. Relaxing sounds of waves, and of course the view at the see. Can be tricky after rain. I have luck with great weather and sun.
Pleasant walk along the sea. Beautiful views.
Tricky in parts you need good Balance and good shoes. You get some great coastal views. The two beaches are nice rest stops
A beautiful coastal trail, leading along rocky cliffs, not always completely dry-footed. By the way, I highly recommend it as a trail for a short run. It is advisable to have shoes with firm soles, in some places you have to step on sharp rocks.
Nice views, kind of wild place, sea, cliffs, and in the end amazing beach.
Trail connecting 2 beaches. Sure-footedness required, as this trail is carved out into a stony shore. Gets slippery when it rains.
One of the best places to go in the Hyères area.
An absolute must if in Lavendou!!but a word of advice wear sensible shoes, because although the walk is easy for all ages sandels and flip-flops are not great as it can be a little slippery. 😉 but go for it,its worth it ..early morning or evening.

Exelent beach Water is so clean nice sand very nice onder feet Big parking close to Easy aces to Water for small children
Beautiful beach with clear water and many water activities there a couple of restaurants and a club close by for those interested
Great place for fun on the beach. It can be a bit crowded, there was debris in the water and we couldn’t find where to change into swimming shorts, nor was there a place to shower afterwards. None of these were bad enough for it to make our visit bad; just minor inconveniences.
The roads of the Cote d'Azur have one advantage, they stretch along the blue of the water and from beach to beach. Plage de Cavaliere is located in the wonderful surroundings of hills and forests where you just need to park your car a dozen meters from the water and your beach. It can be crowded, but you will always find a place. From the car straight into the water.
It was the most beautiful beach in France (not including Corsica). Now it is full of restaurants with too many sunbeds blocking the beach passage. Too noisy and too many water sport scooters. Still three years ago it was a paradise. And now because of all businesses there it looks more like a circus. Beauty of this place is slowly disappearing each following year. :(
Was a bit of disappointment. There are no showers, bins or any other infrastructure. Hotels and bars taking over the space with their private areas. No shade, only under the pine trees that have all the sand with their needles. Too many jetski etc. The water is very clean though. And we found parking that was positive.
Bit disappointed. Beach looks lovely, sea looks lovely but no one allowed in! Red flag all week and we’re only here for a week. Lifeguards v strict too. Pollution apparently! Nothing visible though. Quite frustrating.
Hey, I’m a little bit sad. Look, Le Lavandou is beautiful and the local people that I have met were super nice, but then happened something: When we arrived at the beach, some of us, including me, decided to get a bear at the local spar, to bring to the beach, before settling in sand and sun. After fulfilling that Idea, a friend and me took the two steps over the street and entered the beach area right next to the lifeguards office, happily and in the mood for a chill/calm day at the beach. While doing said, we encountered a middle aged french man who asked us for a bear, apparently as a joke, but we shared a very nice and spontaneous moment of strangers just sharing a smile and having a fun conversation for a few seconds. This encounter was overseen by a lifeguard, and over the next few hours I gained the impression that he is the guy in charge at this beach. He was not happy at all with us sharing laughs and gesticulating funnily. Right after the fun guy said bye and thanks for what we think is normal and he thought was really nice of us, the guy in charge made himselfe known by coming up to us and telling us that this is a quiet beach and that we were not supposed to be loud, he unkindly reminded us where the trash belongs and that we were not supposed to go for a swim after we had a beer. This situation lastet for about a minute and left me real confused. Situation: Afternoon, sun, burning hot, beach crowded af, a lot of children, a lot of adults, no dogs, two ppl trying to sell Ice by yelling it all over the beach, at least two ppl trying to get money from ppl who are to lazy to take vacation pictures by themselves. Back to the my problem: I never ever felt so judged in my life. This guy told me how to behave, assumed I would litter, assumed I would be loud and unpleasant for other guests at the beach before I even had the chance to open my mouth or show him how wrong I was really raised. As written before, it left me real confused and so I startet my day at the beach with a wrong feeling that I didn’t signed up for or deserved. After a lot of sun, nice times in the water and what in the end seemed to be a good time, the guy decided to take it a step further. During the day, we collected about 5 bottles of water that we had, some wooden icecream stiks, and a little bit of plastic wrapping. With collected I mean, placed together in between our circle of towels. He brought us a trash bag, with some comment I didn’t really understand acoustically but I promise you, he did it not because he wanted us to have a easier time bringing the trash away. After that I was really angry, and yes, I gave him the “you really suck and I can’t understand why someone would want to be like you” eyes, and yes, when he left I cursed in my mother tongue and was really angry, not gonna lie. To regain some calmness I decided to smoke a cigarette, when a friend asked me for one. He was two towels over and so I tossed the package in his direction. I missed his reacheable space by about 20cm and so the package restet in the sand between the towels. This gave the guy another reason to step up and do his show, by directly asking me what my problem was. Sadly, before I could think about what to say and how to make a better person out of this guy, he switched interests and ended his moment of glory with some nonsense directed at one of the guys next to me. I’m not used to feel real anger from me directed at a person and so I was a bit overwhelmed. I learned today, that it can be really confusing and saddening when you get labeled for no other reason than someone’s opinion. Some may say, all of this should not make you angry and that this is a personal problem, and yes it is, but if you ever encounter this man, and share a similar moment, rest assured you are not alone and someone somwhere is also really not happy. Do not go there if you want a quiet place . This is Perfect for people that love comercial . The beach was full from 10:00 to 20:00 ! Amazing vibe . Note : the water is big from the beginning.. nice fish around the stones.
Not a bad beach, could do with a clean but water is clean and a nice place
Long and laid back beach with plenty of space to enjoy the sea. It's sandy and the water is very clean.
Long beach and many restaurants. But not very security for little children.
Went in September, really quiet and nice beach. Close to restaurants and shops
Visited in June. Very clean and clear water. Easy access. Not too many people with plenty of space to lay down and enjoy the sun. The beach drops down about 2m into the water. Not great for young children, but fine for adults if not inferm. There are several beach restaurants with loungers and umbrellas if interested.
Nice beach, lifeguard is there, keeping a keen eyes on things, Park on the nearest carpark and cycle into the centre.
Beautiful beach with small waves for kids and little ones to wakeboard. Absolutely stunning views and clear waters to swim in. Would recommend.

Very helpful and friendly stuff. We were looking for a boat trip and received lots of good advices from Candice (team member from the Tourism Office). Candice gave us all the necessary information and some extra details to be mindful of (especially if you are traveling with kids).
Avoid holidays in this region with an electric car. Only 2 chargers with shared 150 kW available in the whole region! Seems like a joke.
Nice place et pleasant welcoming.

This place is incredible. So unique and personal and Valerie our guide was a joy! We will be back on Tuesday to take some of the incredible wine home with us. Just perfect! *Update* we came to Norfolk and had a lovely glass of your Le Rose … thank you again for introducing us to your wine 🍷
We had a great time on this tour. Tasting was great and we enjoyed the wines and the bread and cheese. Very friendly tour guide - Elsa (sorry if spelling is wrong). Nice informative tour in a wonderful setting! Could easily cycle or walk from Le Lavandou. Shop was also great and we bought some presents to take home. Thanks so much!
One of the best wine tours we’ve ever experienced! The host was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience truly special. Since it was my birthday, I was offered a complimentary glass of champagne, along with a thoughtful gift—a wine opener and a kitchen blouse. We learned so much about both winemaking and wine tasting, and it was an unforgettable experience.
Lovely small vineyard which gave an amazing tour and tasting. The host Valerie was perfect and was great company for the tour, especially impressive as the tour was done for us in English.
Good rose and close to Lavandou beach.
Nice place, nice vine, nice people.
(Translated by Google) We chose the "authentic" tour for €20 per person. This price included a tour of the estate with some explanations and a tasting of three wines (white, rosé, and red) in the winery. All this in one hour. This tour was basic with few explanations; we didn't learn much, we just enjoyed the view. As for the winery, it's nothing special, as stated in the brochure. It's modern and straightforward. For us, this tour isn't worth the €20 requested.

The restaurant La Plage Meynial offers a stunning view of the beach, creating a serene and picturesque backdrop for a meal. The ambiance is perfect for a relaxed dining experience, especially as the sun sets over the horizon. The food was exceptional. I had the entrecote and gambas, both of which were cooked to perfection. The entrecote was juicy and flavorful, with just the right amount of seasoning, while the gambas were fresh and succulent, a true delight for seafood lovers. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted even better than it looked (see pictures).
Have visited with friends and with a young family and on both occasions the staff and atmosphere have been great. The moules frite portion is absolutely huge too!
The fish doesn’t taste better anywhere in the world. Poisson grille it is!! Run by father & son, always good fun.
Amazing fresh fish, great tarte tatin, super friendly staff. And the fresh oysters 😋
Gentle welcome, low profile to put yo u at ease, what I consider class. Superb fish cooking mastering with useless frills. Smart wine list and reasonable honest beach pricing. Excellent attentive servicing. What else...and a very fine blonde sand to caress your..sweet moments. Gentleness is a memorable gem these days !!
Good beachbar/restaurant. Personel is friendly and helpfull. The menu offers good options. I liked the atmosphere here and the food too. The check took some time, but it was OK since we where chilling comfortable.
As rude as they come...food not what we asked for after waiting 90 min. Definitely treated us differently than the French customers

Villa Théo is a notable historical villa located in the coastal town of Bormes-les-Mimosas in the Var department of France. This beautiful villa is often recognized for its picturesque architecture and scenic views of the surrounding Mediterranean landscape. It is a prime example of the charming architectural style found in the region, reflecting the elegance of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The villa is situated in a lush setting, surrounded by gardens and natural beauty, making it a popular spot for visitors seeking to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. While it may not function as a museum, Villa Théo is sometimes associated with cultural events, exhibitions, or private gatherings. If you have specific questions about Villa Théo or would like more details about its history or activities, feel free to ask!
It was closed for exhibitions but the film about Theo Rysselburgh was fascinating.
(Translated by Google) Exceptional! Return to the past of St Clair, the coast and Lavandou at the beginning of the 20th century around the Belgian painter Théo van Rysselberghe, his life, his work his friendships, with Émile Verhaeren, Signac, Henri Edmond Cross, André Gide...This intelligentsia which introduced and enlivened the coast at the time. The house is of belle époque inspiration, more Flemish than Mediterranean because it was built by the architect brother of the painter, who built other villas around it when Saint Clair was only fields, vineyards and orchards. The workshop is illuminated by an enormous bay window, the period fireplaces are superb, and in addition to the quality information provided by the passionate curator of the premises, you can watch a film which retraces the life of the painter, his artist friends, but also that of an era through, for example, the arrival of the “Pignes train”, the small Michelin line linking Toulon to the coast, which made it possible to open up and make the region known. Free visit to do, because really a very beautiful discovery of both the painter and the places. (Original) Exceptionnel !
