Marina
Nestled between the expansive beaches like Favière and the more secluded, wild coves such as La Mère Dieu and Estagnol, Port de Bormes-les-Mimosas offers a stunning array of aquatic experiences. The turquoise waters here rival those found in far-off exotic locales, making it a perfect destination for beach lovers. This port is not just beautiful; it's also pioneering as the first certified "Clean Port" in Europe, actively promoting biodiversity.
A very nice port who worth a walk! You will fins a dozen of French restaurants (a bit too americanised) with a very nice view of the marina, from breakfast to late dinner, and if you follow the end, you can have a panoramic view of the island of gold.

Very nice place to depart for a boat trip. Also nice to go for a walk and watch all the different boats in the harbor. There are some really nice ships here. There is also a dive center for people who like to explore the underwater world in the neighborhood. There are some really nice dive locations you can visit.

This place is incredible. So unique and personal and Valerie our guide was a joy! We will be back on Tuesday to take some of the incredible wine home with us. Just perfect! *Update* we came to Norfolk and had a lovely glass of your Le Rose … thank you again for introducing us to your wine 🍷

We had a great time on this tour. Tasting was great and we enjoyed the wines and the bread and cheese. Very friendly tour guide - Elsa (sorry if spelling is wrong). Nice informative tour in a wonderful setting! Could easily cycle or walk from Le Lavandou. Shop was also great and we bought some presents to take home. Thanks so much!
Laura H — Google review
One of the best wine tours we’ve ever experienced! The host was incredibly knowledgeable and made the experience truly special. Since it was my birthday, I was offered a complimentary glass of champagne, along with a thoughtful gift—a wine opener and a kitchen blouse. We learned so much about both winemaking and wine tasting, and it was an unforgettable experience.
Laarni H — Google review
Lovely small vineyard which gave an amazing tour and tasting. The host Valerie was perfect and was great company for the tour, especially impressive as the tour was done for us in English.

(Translated by Google) We chose the "authentic" tour for €20 per person. This price included a tour of the estate with some explanations and a tasting of three wines (white, rosé, and red) in the winery. All this in one hour. This tour was basic with few explanations; we didn't learn much, we just enjoyed the view. As for the winery, it's nothing special, as stated in the brochure. It's modern and straightforward. For us, this tour isn't worth the €20 requested.

(Translated by Google) I think there is a slight lack of training at the reception level, and given the number of boxes we take, they could have offered us one or two Goodies but their products are okay. Too bad there is no loyalty account, well maybe there is one but we did not offer it.

Hiking Trails
Le Sentier Du Littoral is a coastal trail that offers beautiful views and a chance to explore the area's natural beauty. The trail leads along rocky cliffs, providing a relaxing soundtrack of waves crashing against the shore. While it's an easy walk for all ages, it's recommended to wear sensible shoes with firm soles, especially after rain when it can be slippery.
Absolutely nice hiking way through the coast. Relaxing sounds of waves, and of course the view at the see. Can be tricky after rain. I have luck with great weather and sun.

A beautiful coastal trail, leading along rocky cliffs, not always completely dry-footed. By the way, I highly recommend it as a trail for a short run. It is advisable to have shoes with firm soles, in some places you have to step on sharp rocks.

Plage du Lavandou is a long, bustling sandy beach located between two ports and is a popular spot for swimming, sailing, and sunbathing. It's one of the main beaches in the area along with Plage de l'Anglade and St Clair. The beach offers easy access, clear water, and plenty of space to relax under the sun. While not ideal for young children due to a steep drop into the water, it's perfect for adults.
Do not go there if you want a quiet place . This is Perfect for people that love comercial . The beach was full from 10:00 to 20:00 ! Amazing vibe . Note : the water is big from the beginning.. nice fish around the stones.

Not great for young children, but fine for adults if not inferm. There are several beach restaurants with loungers and umbrellas if interested.

Le Lavandou's exclusive beach, known as Le Welcome, guarantees a delightful day under the sun. This inviting establishment offers a warm and convivial ambiance, ideal for indulging in delectable tapas, locally caught seafood such as wild fish and lobsters. The bar boasts an impressive selection of flavorful cocktails to enjoy with friends. The breathtaking surroundings coupled with the friendly and attentive staff create an unforgettable experience. Additionally, the carefully curated playlist features soothing renditions of popular songs.
We had a great afternoon at Welcome Beach with a group of eight. The setting is relaxed but well thought-out - natural materials, good layout, and a calm (slightly bo-bo) atmosphere just by the sea. The food was truly excellent. We had six lobsters (yep!) among other fresh dishes, all very well prepared and nicely presented. Great selection of wines, although rosé CdP is virtually mandatory there. Service was smooth, friendly and efficient without being intrusive. A really enjoyable spot - quality across the board. Would definitely return.

The surroundings are breathtaking and the team is super sweet and helpful. The playlist is also noteworthy as it is an assembly of chill-vibe covers of well known titles. If you want to have a drink or eat you can of course do so at a table but there is a large array of couches that are terrific for having pre-dinner drinks during the golden hour. The food is not astounding but not bad and the fresh fish are good.

Delightful beach restaurant in the far corner of Le Lavandou bay, towards Favieres. Glad to have made a day of it. Recommend a morning walk along the boarded path running parallel to the beach ( just be prepared to doge the many joggers). You can hire a matelas and then it’s just a case of relax ! The staff are friendly with plenty of smiles - also happy to speak in English or patiently converse in French, if like me, you want to practice the native tongue. Delicious lunch - antipasti de mer : the tartare au thon was memorable ! And couldn’t resist the cafe gourmand for desert - all washed down with a refreshing glass of Provence rosé ! The sea proved a refreshing and delightful place to relax. Welcome Beach is exactly what it says - very welcoming and tres charmant !

I’m visiting this beachside restaurant for over 7 years now and my experience was always wonderful. The food is absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. This is a top place in the area to have a good bouillabaisse. Cooks pick the fish themselves every morning and the fish soup is cooked on wood fire. Portions are large, bouillabaise for two can easily be shared by 4. Excellent fish!

Best bouillabaisse in Provence without a doubt. The restaurant is by the beach of Saint Clair, managed for several decades by Raymond now aged 83, still commanding the cooking. A great variety of fish carefully selected by the chef himself every morning on fish market, served in a soup simmered on wood fire. Fantastic dining experience!

'Having read up on the Forts history beforehand the guided visit met up fully with the expectations and I have personally received comments as the well-being organiser that it was a very informative and enjoyable tour. The majority of the BAV members that live in France have a knowledge of the French language which is why this highly recommended visit was proposed to its members. A big thank you goes to all concerned for accepting us as your first visitors of 2023 '

So we get there at the gate. What we have to pay for parking!? What we have to buy a ticket to just get to the Fort!? What we can't buy the tickets there at the location!? So I was bit frustrated and was not the coolest guy to be around. However we were able to purchase the tickets online before the next tour. This is when I started to feel bad for my attitude toward the staff and started enjoying the beautiful scenery of both the location and smiles. Marie the tour guide was the most wonderful and charismatic person. Enthused about Fort de Bregancon she captivated both the crowd and me to the point where I stopped listening and started wondering if she was single.

This was a fabulous outing, and I have recommended it to another international group. My only gripe is that there were was a lot of information that included numbers and years, but it was fine for the most part. I did learn some new words e.g. "double tomber l'eau"...I think that is the spelling. Maybe a leaflet with key dates for visitors or give the main website for information so non French speakers (or even French speakers) can read before their trip. It was an all round superb visit.
Sandra S — Google review
In mistral weather ( big wind ) it was great ... it accentuates the contrast of the landscape ... I have not visited the fortress of the president, but I made the rolling stone on the coastal paths ...(les sentiers du littoral ). the parking is not free ... Maybe the commune has no money ..... a little surprised anyway. .. here we murder the tourists with exhorbitant prices .. damned ... The restaurant frenchy of proximity is shabby and expensive. ...

Plage de la Mère Dieu

Beach
Plage de la Mère Dieu is a secluded and intimate beach with fine white sand, clear turquoise waters, and rocky areas. It offers a tranquil setting for swimming and enjoying the natural beauty. The beach is known for its crystal-clear waters, small fish, and some corals near the rocks. Visitors can also witness stunning sunsets due to the bay's orientation.
(Translated by Google) A fantastic beach where you are virtually alone. There are a few algae on the left and right, but in the middle you can swim undisturbed in crystal clear water. There are small fish and a few corals on the rocks. Because of the bay and the islands, the water here is usually rather calm. You can also watch a great sunset here. You can reach this beach via a path from Plage de Cabasson within 20 minutes. The path is very beautiful, with lots of great views and highly recommended. You should just be prepared for a bit of climbing.

Lovely quiet beach, white sand and turquoise water. There are quite a few boats anchored here which makes swimming slightly less agreeable and there is also a lot of natural debris from the sea which might put people off.
Susanna H — Google review
Not accessible by car, all roads leading there fenced or with a private gate. 20 min walk over the cliffs from Plage Cabasson parking.

We went there when I was in school in my holidays now we came back after some 10 or so years and it was as great as in my childhood!

Really beautiful minigolf course with a lot of fun courses. There‘s a nice small bar with drinks. The courses could be a little bit more level though.
Alex — Google review
The mini golf is ok and fun. Staff was unnecessarily rude to us on the way out. Wouldn’t go back there.
Rana H — Google review
The whole family had a lot of fun and the staff was very friendly. We even had dinner which was good as well.

Nice course, Pity it was so crowded, waiting at each hole, takes away some of the fun.

Used to be very cool and interesting, but this time, the waterfalls were off and the surfacing was worn out, way less funny to play Hope it will be refurbished

Asian restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque coastline of Lavandou, Tanoshi is a delightful culinary gem that specializes in Vietnamese, Thai, and Japanese cuisine. With its serene ambiance and stunning sea views, it’s an ideal spot for both lunch and dinner. Guests rave about the freshness of the dishes, which include a variety of noodles and rice options tailored to individual spice preferences. The staff is known for their friendliness, although some diners have noted that service could be more attentive at times.
Excellent food from a wide and varied menu. We had a wonderful evening with world class food in a wonderful riviera surrounding. A must for anyone who visits this area
Stephen I — Google review
The food was good, with portion sizes that felt just right if you order the full menu. However, if you prefer only the main course, the portions may feel a bit too small. The young woman who served us was exceptionally friendly, though the same can't be said for the owner.
Nazlı A — Google review
We came to eat sushi, and they had none, though google menue mentioned otherwise. Because it turned out they weren't making any this year... /speechless for start. So we ended up ordering something else. But...Food was soaked in tones of oil. Chicken, shrimps, rice, everything was swimming in fried oil... Tasted quite bad, as if you eat old fried oil. Portions are small, but not as if you want to eat anything after eating that much oil.
Lily — Google review
We had a lovely dinner here, right around sunset hour, perfect time to be right across from the beach. The Tanoshi cocktail was sublime and the umeboshi deliciously delicate. The Bun La Lot was a tasty delight, a very unique dish which I heartily recommend. Also, the salmon teriyaki was an excellent dish. You will not be disappointed!
Team P — Google review
Reasonable asian food. Nothing to write home about. Waiter / owner was extremely grumpy from the start, bordering on plain unhelpful which made us feel very uncomfortable throughout the meal. Couldn't wait to get away...
Aqua P — Google review
Excellent food, fresh & authentic. Attentive service as well.
Mallena U — Google review
It was very good, the best asian food i habe had in a long time. Also the staff is very friendly. This place should get 5 Stars but unfortunately I can only give 4 because the rice was cold and served in a dirty dish. Maybe more attention to detail is needed. But i definetly enjoyed it and would go back anytime.
Dominique — Google review
Loved the vietnamese food and the great selection of Asian drinks and dishes. The sauteed noodles were absolutely mouth watering! The staff was also super nice and caring.

Friendly staff and the food was great. Even tho it is on the fancier side, the staff joked around with us and made the experience very fun. We would definitely come here again. Prices are fair for what you get. Also very good Aperol Spritz.
