Went for the wisteria festival and despite the wisteria a little off season, they had food stalls and fun activities for kids! Easy access from train and they have a parking lot for people who drive! I only have pictures of the wisteria area sorry.
The park was so beautiful. It looks like straight out of a fantasy movie! 💜 It was my first time experiencing wisteria viewing and I didn't know it smells good too! 😍 There are a lot of food stalls at the park like takoyaki, ikayaki, potato tornado, and more that you can try during the wisteria festival. There was a lot of parking available but during holidays, it'll be packed with cars. So, it's advisable to plan your trip early so as not to get stuck in traffic. I went there during the public holiday and arrived around 2.30pm, the road was congested with cars wanting to get the parking spot 😭 The cars weren't moving at all. So, that's the only thing I regret a bit. I should've come early. But, overall, it was worth it!
Unfortunately the flowers weren't in bloom when I was there but I know there are many people who go to visit this park.
Awesome place to walk and take your kids.
Good place for seeing Fuji in spring at Tsushima city

A big extensive temple in Tsushima. All of the buildings are red or orange which makes them all the more striking. A lovely place to visit and a great photo opportunity.
A large vermilion colored shrine near Tennogawa park. The buildings are well-maintained and unique. The gardens are lovely.
This is a very nice temple. The temple is quite old, so you can notice the building style Japanese culture had. I can also tell even tho quite crouded, the place is very quiet.
Pretty cool place to see.

There is an English brochure for foreigners. There is also free Wi-fi. Materials and models of Tsushima festival are also good. It is recommended in a set with Tenno river park.

Tsushima original puri is available only here!!! You can take a break, but you can't take it easy because you're worried about cars. You can get a rekimachi card or a manhole card. When I visited Tsushima City, I stopped by the Tsushima City Tourist Exchange Center. To be honest, I imagined it to be just an ordinary tourist information center, but I was surprised at how grand the building was. It has a retro exterior reminiscent of the Taisho era, and has the air of a historical building. It's worth seeing not only for tourist information, but also for the building itself! (It appears to have been built in the early Showa era) The first photo shows the entire building from the front. The calm colors and beautiful appearance were impressive. The second photo shows a sign for an event that was taking place that day. It's nice to be able to check information about such events here. Be sure to stop by between visiting Tsushima Shrine and walking around the city. It's also very photogenic, so I recommend it! (Translated by Google) According to the temple's website, it was originally a huge temple of the Shingon sect, but it is said to have been destroyed by the Heisen attack of the Onin era (1467). According to the ridge tag of Hakkensha Shrine, the name of Tokushiki can be seen in 1605 (1605), and then in 1611 (1611), the 25th head of Shogenji Temple was appointed at the request of the local grand master, Juzaemon Kumazawa. He invited the priest Hiyama to restore the temple, and in 1765, the Bikkuyomon Kannon-do Hall was rebuilt. Permission granted in 1877. In 1897, the temple suffered another fire and the temple was rebuilt. The current warehouse was rebuilt in the 1950s. Omi-do applied to belong to Kannon-ji Temple in 1941 and was approved the following year. The bell tower gate is said to have been relocated from the Abe family's lower residence. About Mr. Abe <From the local information site of the Nishinari Ward Community Development Council> Masakatsu Abe, the ancestor of the Abe clan, was one of Tokugawa Ieyasu's Mikawa Fudaishu. The Abe family, which is related to Sebe, is a senior vassal (butler) of the Owari domain, descended from Masakatsu's third son, and had a territory of 4,000 koku, mainly in Sebe, and a lower residence in Fujishita, Sebe (in Nakajima-cho). The year was Genroku 12 (1699). Although there were some changes depending on the generation, the stipend was roughly 4000 koku and continued until the Meiji Restoration. However, with the abolition of the feudal domain and the establishment of prefectures, the Abe clan abolished their lower residences under Fuji and left Sebe, and their descendants are said to be living in Nagoya. The Abe clan was a land leader with no equal in power in this region, and people were said to be in awe of him, saying, ``Mr. Abe of Sebe, I don't care.''

I was grateful for the warm-hearted personality of the deputy chief priest 🙏 (Original)

Currently, the main hall is not accessible as it is undergoing reconstruction preparations, and the Buddha statue has been moved to the Kuri, so you will be able to worship there. He was a monk whose dirty mind could be washed away just by interacting with him.

I believe that if I simply stop before the temple and pray, something will change. (Original)

The deity enshrined is Oyamakui no Kami →The deity is the landowner god of Mt. Hiei, the god of brewing, the guardian god of the Tendai sect, and the god of agricultural promotion. →Benefits include agricultural protection, brewing protection, warding off evil spirits, and family lineage.
