Great place to visit, nice and calm atmosphere. Beutiful views and lot to explore around. Vineyards are great to walk through and the view is amazing from up the hill. Gift shop has all kinds of souvenirs and it is must stop. Lots of seating space to enjoy and have a glass of wine with most amazing views. Feels relaxing and just must do. Really enjoyed our time here.
Great place, lovely atmosphere, lots of information, clean toilets, amazing park and a lovely walk through the sloping vineyard ending with an amazing view. Possibility to sit in the garden, excellent local wines, restaurant, children's playground. Highly recommended. :-)
A 5-star review with realistic experience and feedback 😁 We heard about the vineyard hiking (Weinberg Wanderung) from a flyer, and made the mistake of not checking it online, thinking we could just pay and join but of course nothing in Germany works without making an appointment 😂 BUT exception happens when the staffs are nice, which is the case with Schloss Wackerbarth! We managed to join a booked out hike calling the same day morning, the staff was sooooooo friendly, it's unbelievable. It's actually rare in Germany 😂 A big thank you to the staff on the call who made this possible, offered different solutions and managed to coordinate two more spots for us, after knowing we are driving from other city 🥹 Now the vineyard hiking - 2,5 hours flew by like a blink of an eye. We gathered as a group of about 25 people, had a welcome Sekt/grape juice, started walking up the vineyard, listened to some history about Schloss Wackerbarth, how they care for the grapes, some regional facts and weather conditions, enjoyed scenic views and ended the hike at a wooden hut where we tasted two white wines, one rose and a pretzel. Personally I have expected A LOT more hikes (so it turns out to be much easier than I thought), and A LOT more information on the vineyards, growing the grapes etc. My boyfriend thought the hike turned out to be exactly how he had imagined - hiking up the vineyard, tasting some wine, small stories about the vineyard and it's history. So it's all about expectation management. Rooms for improvement? - We like our hiking guide. She is super friendly, has been working at the vineyard for over 30 years (I think, or 20), knowledgeable AND funny! I think having to do several tours a day and repeating the same stories can be tiring (respect!), so understandably that she improvises and makes her stories more "relatable" - but drawing way too much references from women/men husband/wife relationship 😅 Our hiking group includes older and younger participants and I can tell those above 50s don't find that problematic but the younger ones, us included, were quite uncomfortable at some point haha. A part of the information shared was also not directly related to the vineyard or wine making, which is quite a pity. All in all, our experience at Schloss Wackerbarth is quite positive. It's with no doubt a very successfully, and positively commercialised vineyard, given it's location being not super strategic. It's a lot of work to make this place stand out and they managed to, and the experiences they provided are well thought out and the personnel are well trained. Not a "homey" small family business vibe with private winery charm but it has its competitiveness!
Very cool place to relax on a sunny afternoon! Although, the tasting tour was not recommanded. First, the guide was late! And he cannot explain the difference between wine glasses. Also, I really don't like the sekt there, but that might be related to personal preference.
Worth the visit. Ticket can be bought from the Gutsmarkt using card/cash. Also you can buy wines from there. We took a 1 hour wine tour(17€/adult), which is provided in Deutsch but an audio translation in English is available. The guide explained the history, the wine making process, shown the place where wine is prepared and finally tasted 3 different wines. We were also allowed to explore the vineyard independently but unfortunately it was a rainy day. There are eatery options available. The toilets are clean. The staff are nice and speak English. If you're coming by car, a free parking facility is there. By tram, you can catch '4' to reach from Dresden Neustadt.
Amazing place where you want to return again! Winery has a good selection of wine and sparkling wine. Restaurant on the territory. Self-service bar. We came without reservation and spent beautiful time there. But in advance you can book wine tasting and excursion with a guide. We will defiantly come back there.
Elegant and charming castle with wonderful amenities and winery for all tastes. For a great experience make sure you wear comfortable clothes with hiking shoes so you can enjoy a beautiful walking experience all around.
Beautiful location to visit and suited for events. Also nice to visit during winter. A climb up the stairs will reward you with a beautiful view over nearby villages and dresden and along the way you can find more information about the growing process which is being applied every year. Parking places are available right outside the terrain. A mask is required at the moment when entering the terrain.

(Translated by Google) When visiting Radebeul, you should definitely visit the Karl May Museum, as long as you know what to do with the name. Karl May lived here until his death and wrote many of his books here. The site consists of Villa Shatterhand, Villa Bärenfett and Villa Nscho-tschi. The last one is an event room and cannot be visited. The actual house, Villa Shatterhand, is about the life of Karl May himself and his work. Here you will find rooms originally furnished by him and his wife. Villa Bärenfett in the garden is a log cabin and houses an exhibition about the life, struggle and fate of the Indians in North America. Many exhibits are shown here.

(Translated by Google) There was a time when, especially boys, their eyes lit up at the name Old Shatterhand or Kara Ben Nemsi, the "Son of the Germans." But the days when reading adventure novels stimulated the imagination and encouraged dreams are over. Very few children will immediately recognize the name Karl May, unless they have seen one of the film adaptations on television's Christmas program. It is all the better that this museum has stood the test of time. The Villa Bärenfett is the Indian museum that was built in 1926 by his ardent admirer Patty Frank. The house "Villa Shatterhand" is the home of Karl May and his wife Klara. Here you can trace his life and his novels. The dream worlds of the Wild West and mysterious Orient, as he imagined them, come to life here. You can also experience the turmoil and adversities of his life here. The times were exciting not only in his novels but also in his real life. Whether in the empire of the German Emperor or National Socialism, the republics of Weimar or the GDR, he was a supposed superstar, a fraudster and impostor, a pioneer of national Germanness, a secretive best-selling author, a rediscovered fighter for the "Indians", but always an author who took millions of readers into adventures that they would have liked to experience. The GDR had a hard time with his legacy. The fate of his book rights is only briefly hinted at in the museum, but he was not forgotten in the GDR. There were always books that referred to him, Herman Kant in the "Aula" and, unfortunately not mentioned here, the book by Erich Loest "Swallow, my brave Mustang". In the end his books were published. “Bückware”, they were still in great demand. I would like families to plan this museum as a permanent visiting point in Dresden. Your children and Karl May's stories deserve it.

Was lovely — an exact external replica of my ADHD mind. Or maybe this review is a lie. Who cares, go check it out. At the very least, take a piss behind the shrine to fascism. Find Waldo! Welcome aliens! Solve a… murder?!? You won’t regret it. Why be sane when you can melt into absurdity?
It's weird, it's anarchic, it's irreverent and a grand day out. Imagine a museum full of interactive weird things akin to an interactive performance of Punchdrunk. Anywhere you go, something moves. Go upstairs!
I've visited many famous museums in different countries but I must say that I found Lügenmuseum an absolutely fantastic institution to visit. As a matter of fact I wouldn't call it a museum. Actually It's a most impressive wonderland.
Wonderful, charming, eccentric. The highlight of our trip to Dresden. An enchanting collection of kinetic art.
Amazing place, makes me feel like a child again. Wonderfully creative with some great criticisms of the modern world. A must see in Dresden.
Words can not describe this amazing museum. Open your mind and see this truly unique place.
Amazing museum showcasing such creativity. Very reasonable price and friendly staff. Make sure to go upstairs!

Great view and historic tower "A Bismarck tower (Bismarckturm) is a specific type of monument built according to a more or less standard model across the Germany to honour its first chancellor, Otto von Bismarck (d. 1898). A total of 234 of these towers were inventoried by Kloss and Seele in 2007 but more have been discovered since making the total around 240. Every Bismarck tower was also intended as a beacon."

(Translated by Google) We visited this Bismarck Tower in Radebeul during a bike tour in 2025. There are another 145 Bismarck Towers throughout Germany. This clearly has to do with the great popularity of the first German Chancellor, Prince Otto von Bismarck. Bismarck Towers are not monuments of representation, but rather of identification. Bismarck was honored by the German people for his services. Starting in 1899, most towers were equipped with fireworks at the top, which were usually lit on certain days in Bismarck's honor until the First World War. They can then also be seen as beacons over the land. The Radebeul Tower has been restored to an exemplary standard and offers a fantastic view. Interesting to know, and somewhat curious from today's perspective, there are still four Bismarck Towers outside of Europe in 2025. .. Cameroon ..Chile ..Tanzania ..Papua New Guinea (Original) Wir waren während einer Radtour 2025 an diesem Radebeuler Bismarckturm gewesen. Perfect place to come and enjoy good wine. The area is very nice, underneath a hill with wine plants, overlooking the gorgeous houses in the near. The wine garden offers a local selection of wines and also great food. We went for sunset and it was magical.
I like this winery so much more than "the other one". This winery is authentic and over 600 years old, the other one is big, industrialized, merchandised. This wine-garden is romantic and you can see the slopes rich with grapes. Also, the wine garden is more exclusive because it is more remote and you have to walk a little to get here, but it is so much worth the effort. Their wine is the best the region has to offer. Try "Kerner" If you like white wines.
Stunning environment, nice selection of wines and food. However, place is quite crowded and staff seems to be unable to handle it. Long wait is ok, the fact that the staff is rude and has an attitude is not. 2 stars down.
Beautiful views, good food and wine, a playground off to the side, so it is great for families. I recommend going for a walk in the area after you are done.
We just love this place. Very chilled vibe in the garden, excellent wine and great flammkuchen & kuchen. Not to mention the view!
You get tricked here with paying the pfand when you pay with cash! Note that the amount of pfand per glass is actually 3€, but apparently for the tourists they charge you more, hoping you do not notice. We got ‘robbed’ 9 euros for nothing. Not the end of the world but the problem is that the staff will not admit their fault. Really pethatic. So skip this place!
Wine with a view- Beautiful atmosphere and delicious flammkuchen !
I liked the wine. But I had one of the worst service experiences in my life (in Chemnitz Weinfest). A blonde short-haired woman with glasses was totally shocked that an arab-looking man wanted to try wine! At first she didn't want me to try, but then when I bought a bottle she gave it to me in a very rude way and she never apologised.

Spitzhaus has been a great end to our time in Dresden. The food, wine, service and views are exceptional. Autumn with view of vineyards is unforgettable 🍂Vielen Dank!
Lovely place for a late summer wine
This review is for the Hofbistro. Our first visit was during the "Tag des Offenen Weinbergs" and the second time on an ordinary summer's weekday evening. On both occasions, we were rewarded with stunning views over Dresden, Radebeul, Niederwartha etc. We even spotted Fortress Königstein on our second visit. The Spitzhaus white wine is definitely a fine drop to enjoy and the meals may be simple, but filling and delicious. During our second visit, the sole staff member was doing everything, but with a smile and considerable ease. My New Zealand fiancé is still praising the Hofbistro, and the two wine glasses we bought as souvenirs and transported back safely (you may want to consider offering them up for sale like Hoflößnitz does), keep reminding him of the great time we spent there with my family.
Found it on google looking for a nice place to eat. It is a gem hidden in the alley - amazing view, perfect service. I hope that in the future, I will have the opportunity to come back, and if not , I will make one anyway.
The views in this restaurand mixed with the food made up an amazing experience. We had the slow cooked ribs, which were super soft, juicy, and tasty. Their Crema Catalana is also super nice and unique, since they make it with a hint of citrus. I did find it odd that we booked a table for 2 in advance, yet we got a 6 person table far away from the nice views (and the tables by the good views were free the whole time..). So I recommend to clarify when making the reservation that you want seats by the good views ☺️ Aside from that, really special place for dinner near Dresden
Last night’s “Candle Light Dinner” at the Spitzhaus was just wonderful! The view … breathtaking, the newly remodeled restaurant rooms stylish yet comfy, the set menu was very creative and delicious, and the service outstanding. (Thanks Conny & Team) 🥰 Can’t wait for our next visit!
Really tasty food. There seats with an amazing view across the down below Dresden. Sadly we got placed on a side without a cool view even after reserving a table like 3 weeks in advance. The service could be faster than it was.
Always a favorite when in the Dresden area. The views are magnificent and the food is great. I have not stayed at the hotel; however, I always have lunch here. You can see Dresden in the distance. My family comes from the Kötzschenbroda Parish area and the church can be seen from here as well. Parking is not at the building. When you come down the street to the Sptzhaus there are several spaces to park and then take a few min. walk to the restaurant. In the summer it can be very busy and harder to park. Also, make a reservation.

Super! 😊💙💛
The club that operates the planetarium as well as the hobby telescopes is trying their best. They are very knowledgeable and explain everything to you. Sadly, the planetarium itself could benefit from some maintenance. The illumination of the stars is subject to noticeable brightness deviations that go beyond normal star behaviour.
There is a viewpoint behind the observatory overlooking Dresden and the Elbe
Beautiful place surrounded by wine gardens, has a nice view of Schloss Wackerbarth
