Built for the 1962 World Cup, a bright bed of flowers forms a clock with functional operation.

This is a beautifully landscaped flower clock that blooms throughout the year and is symbolic of picturesque Viña del Mar. This attraction is definitely worth a visit when in the Valparaiso area of Chile.
It was a flower clock .. what can I say !!!! Ah, Viña del Mar! Okay, the Flower Clock there... right. It's one of those "tourist attraction" things. You know, you see it in the brochures, and you think, "Okay, sure, why not?" And then you get there, and it's… a clock made of flowers. Exactly as advertised. Look, it's not offensive. It's kind of cute, I guess. People were definitely taking photos, doing the whole "pose and smile" routine. I did too, because, well, when in Viña del Mar, right? But let's be honest, it's not exactly a "must-see." It's a quick pit stop, a photo op, and then you're off to find something more interesting. Viña del Mar has so much more to offer – the beaches, the coastline, the gardens. Compared to those, the Flower Clock just feels a bit… meh. It's not that it's bad, it's just that it's not exactly a highlight. If you're walking along the coast, it's a nice little diversion. But if you're on a tight schedule, you're not missing out on much if you skip it. Basically, it's a clock. Made of flowers. In Viña del Mar. If that sounds like your thing, go for it. If not, there are plenty of other, more exciting things to do in the city.
The maintenance and well manicured flowers was amazing to see up close. You can only appreciate the beauty in person
A pretty flower clock. The beach is nearby. Worth the 5 min visit to have a quick look, but nothing too special.
Standing before the Flower Clock in Viña del Mar felt like stepping into a postcard. The vibrant, meticulously arranged flowers forming the clock face create a stunning contrast against the lush greenery. It's more than just a landmark—it's a symbol of the city's charm and attention to detail.
Hi my name is Daniela, nice place to stop by and take photos. A lot of tourists
Very beautiful and well maintained area. The clock is fully functional, but the area can get very busy with tourists and people. Parking is very limited, and usually, tour busses fill them up. You will only spend a few minutes here, but it's pretty to look at.
A landmark to visit - we were on a tour. The tour guide provided the history of the clock.

It’s a beautiful beach, super clean and full of vibrant positive people, respectful tourists, most of whom are from Argentina. If you’re thinking about getting into the ocean and swim a little bit, get that thought out of your mind, the water is super cold and impossible to swim.
Absolutely breathtaking! Can’t think of a time I felt more relaxed. Even if it was a quick visit.
One of the best beaches of Viña Del Mar. Nice costanera for a walk, full of restaurants and hotels to stay.
Very good ! Nice beach, but considering it’s a Chilean Pacific beach, that means , cold water, windy and not a real real summer. The beach almost disappears because of the short beach and is always like a well and is quite dangerous. It is not a beach suitable for swimming or enjoying the water. But the palace is beautiful because of the people that are almost all of them Mendocineans. It’s a nice place I think one of the best close to Santiago. But summarizing Chilean beaches are not good at all. Atlantic is way way better with Long Beaches… But the view is beautiful!!
Reñaca is an area known for its beaches and balnearios located in the Valparaiso Region of Chile. Situated along the coastline, the city of Reñaca is near the city of Viña del Mar. The two are connected by a long coastal road named Avenida Borgoño. Reñaca serves as a residential area predominantly catering to the upper-middle class, and provides a coastal lifestyle with access to amenities and recreational activities. Reñaca is at the northernmost extreme of the city of Viña del Mar and has been incorporated by it. The beach of Cochoa and the town of Concón is located to the north along the coast road. The lower part of the hill overlooking the beach is covered with residential buildings up the hillside. The town also extends eastward up the valley through which the Estero de Reñaca flows, where the majority of the year-round population lives.
We stopped at beach as part of the tour. It was empty when we went there, spotted sealions and pelicans
Beautiful beach, water is on the cold side. Few people, great place for long walks on the beach. Tall waves, not safe for small children.
The north sections of the beach is knowed as one of the best spots to surf near Santiago. Really fun, lots of barrels but really crowded

Really cool casino, went here on Halloween with a buddy from the states. Awesome vibe and great music!
It’s good for food! I don’t know about the play. And they closed near to 3 am.
Super games and contests. Large space. Live music shows. Bufet near by
The Viña del Mar Casino offers a complete entertainment experience. It combines elegant gaming areas with a lively restaurant and nightclub, all within an environment defined by excellent service and genuine hospitality. Whether for an evening out or a special event, it’s one of the city’s most refined and enjoyable destinations.
Slots are stingy. Once u hit, get out. Service for "Bill Validator Tilt" took 25mins. And that's after asking Security to call somebody 🥱
I can say its good for food and sry

We went both on a Friday and then back on Saturday. Beautiful park. The canopies for the children. Beautiful walk around the lagoon and feeding the ducks and geese. On Saturday was a feria set up with various selections. Always an amazing place too visit.
What a nice garden! It is well on the way to recovery from the recent fire. Loved the trees and usual specimens. Lots of places to walk and find solitude on a weekday. While the zip line looked cool, we skipped it and went to see the lagoon instead. The price is fair at $3 per adult and $3 for the car. You can see the majority of the park is about 1-2 hours. It would be helpful to have more plants and trees labeled. :)
it’s pretty if you need to take pictures w a pretty backdrop they have a cafe
A very good place to visit with the family 👪 there are many activities you can do inside. Like Canopy, ride a bicycle, trekking among others, I love all the nature you can find and how can you disconnect yourself from the noise of the city and reconnect with nature
What a fantastic collection of Chilean native plants mixes with other outstanding specimens from around the globe!
A very interesting and scenic place to visit at excellent value. Highly recommended to any nature or plant enthusiasts. Entrance for only 2000 CLP The collection is wide and varied sprawling across what amounts to a very large park. I highly recommend the Valdivian Rainforest. There are informational panels available for each zone. The access within the site is by car, bike, foot. It is very impressive the amount of watering they have done to keep rainforest specimens growing in the desert. There is a small café at the back end by the lake. Recommended 2+ hours for a visit.
Quite a nice park to take a walk, have a picnic, & kick a football around. It's a good break from the hectic-ness of Valparaíso & Viña. It cost us 2,000 pesos each for adults to enter. There are a number of large, grassy fields. Because all the fields are broken up, they make the park feel much smaller than it really is. There are some cool sights, such as the lakes and the cactus garden. I recomm nd this park if you would like to have a nice, peaceful afternoon.
Really impressive.. the place is excellent to be with the family.. I recommend to take or rent a bicycle

(Translated by Google) It's a SCAM!! DO NOT reserve. Unfortunately I did not check the comments beforehand, since we had stayed at the hotel years ago and it was a good experience. However, this week when making the reservation they told us that the card was disabled and they asked you for a code to make the reservation through Google Play. Having this data, they cloned the card and made purchases in the fifth region. Furthermore, from what they point out, the hotel is no longer operating in this place. So don't book and report. (Original) Es una ESTAFA!! NO reserven.
(Translated by Google) Hotel Quinta Vergara, terrible reservation service. I made a reservation on Saturday 02/10/2024 for 1 night's accommodation. They ask me for all my credit card information, since when booking online there is no debit payment option. They sent all the card details, via email they ask me to validate this, it is done and then they ask me to send them the 4-digit card code via email. What type of security does booking or paying without any authorized payment channel give you? And because I didn't send them the card code, they canceled my reservation. The most curious thing is that I had already made a reservation with my credit card on the same day 02/10/2024 about 2 hours before which they canceled due to not having rooms, but magically 45 minutes later I make another reservation now with my credit card husband and if there were rooms. Quite doubtful, since everyone knows that card codes are NOT sent via mail, for that there are authorized payment channels, which this hotel does not deliver. They don't answer phone numbers and the quickest way for them, because they were interested in the password, was to contact me via WhatsApp.

Its It's nice but pretty small. I wish more of it had actually been open to see. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. The area around it is beautiful though so if you're in the area it's worth dropping by.
Very nice place to see if you are walking throughout the Viña Del Mar seafront, after you pass caleta abarca beach and Hotel Sheraton, about 10 min more walking it’s this nice Castle which has an small museum and wonderful views!! Very recommend place to visit and near bus stop!
This castle was built in 1906 by a German coal trader as well as maritime transporter, by the name of Gustavo Adolfo Wullf. In 1995 it was declared a "National Historic Monument" and as a result, locals and tourists have been enjoying this signature in time. The architecture, and the many amazing viewing sites make this place worth the time and take in.
YOU MUST VISIT THIS PLACE. ITS FROM OUTSIDE AND YOU CAN FREELY WALK THERE THROUGH THE BOARDWALK. ALWAYS LOOK FOR YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS ALL THE TIME. VIÑA DEL MAR AND VALPARAISO IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CITIES NEXT TO OCEAN IN CHILE. INDEED I MUST MENTION IQUIQUE (NORTH) AND PUERTO MONTT (SOUTH). ENJOY

Excellent museum! Superior displays of Pacific and American indigenous cultures. Good descriptions, some in English. A couple of the electronic displays were out of order, but that didn’t detract from the overall experience. No description or story with the trophy heads. As a major attraction to the museum that would have been a plus. Upstairs they have a very nice natural history display. Kids will enjoy all the creatures. It’s a small museum, but packed with excitement.
I didn't go inside the museum but this review is for the original Easter Island statue that is majestically exhibited outside the museum. Since childhood I have been intrigued by Easter Island and its world renowned sculptures. It was wonderful to actually see an original statue albeit not on Easter Island but appropriately in front of a Museum showcasing the archeological wonders of Chile.
This is a smallish museum in an old and quaint building. The building itself has wonderful wood stair with its balusters and banisters. The displays of the artifacts on the first floor are marvelous and take you through the archaeological regions of Chile. On the second floor you will find displays of wildlife. If you are nearby, you should visit. F Y I you should Park a couple of blocks away.
We came to see the Moai (Easter Island stone statue) who guards this museum. Loved all the creative artifacts from cultures throughout Chile and South America. There are some interesting stuffed and preserved animals whichsre worth a look. :) The $4.50 entrance fee well worth it!
This is a magic place where you can find one of the most known legacies of the mankind, of course, located in Chile, at its nature,, even not in the original site. An authentic Statue from Rapa Nui Island( old Chilean name) Easter Island is the main guard of the Museum. In the left side of the Entrance, it is exposed a second piece of stone, a magnificent model, sculpture 10000 years old. The building itself is a heritage landmark, very suitable for its actual function and destination.
Nice displays but small rooms that get crowded when tour busses arrive. It was a great place to visit before we went to Easter Island.

Lovely views of the sea, beaches and the skyscrapers dotting the skyline. Neat and clean place to roam around and soak in the coastal atmosphere. Ideal place for a swim or just roam around the numerous green parks around. Plenty of seafood restaurants are scattered all around so you will be spoilt for choice. Best time to visit is early mornings or late evenings to enjoy the panoramic views and avoid the crowd. Overall a great place to spend a day!🌞⛅🍹🍷🍺🍸👍👌
Restaurants were removed from the pier. Now it's only a sightseeing place. Nice for a walk and to breed the sea air.
An interesting remnant of a mercantile past. A lovely evening walk along the board walk, and down the pier. Busy, but strangely peaceful.
Very safe and quiet, in Viña del Mar the sun rise since midday, therefore you should go at that time if you want to find sun, other wise whether you go in the morning you will find it cloudy 🙂
This pier was well made. Alot of people were fishing on the pier. It was free.
This place was very average. The only thing good here was the churros. The view was okay although all you can see are buildings to the side and the horizon. The pier itself had a crane which has no function and not maintained. The look out was clean but really dull. There are also creepy guys there that approach women and don't know the concept of personal space (not sure if he frequents there but he forced a bracelet on my friends arm and forced a hug). There are also no swimming signs but fishing allowed.
Along the coast walk at Vin del Mar, there is a pier that runs into the sea. It is, in fact, an old part of the port where boats were unloaded by a historical crane. The crane is out of use and restored, while thepier is used for relaxing walks and looking out over the sea and by amateur fisherman. It is a nice outing as part of your stroll along the coast in this nice village north of Valparaiso.
Nice pier by the beach, gives you the feeling of being closer to the ships anchored miles from the coast. There were some people fishing, but no one caught anything! Still, a nice experience while in Viña del Mar.

It's not really a 'museum of decorative arts' as much as an example of how a very wealthy family lived at the beginning of the 20th century. The decor and artworks are excellent. Each room is filled with period correct furniture, the architecture is beautiful. Definitely worth a visit while you're in the area
Great atmosphere. Very peaceful. Pet friendly. You can enjoy sunshine and peaceful afternoon.
It is nice to see how they lived, and how things are well kept, the building has an impressive amount of details
Amazing work to restore this building. Wonderful space to discover when you are in Vina del Mar.
The palace itself is gorgeous, sadly there's a lack of maintenance showing up. Some cracks and paint details need to be taken care of asap. About the visit... Well it's a free guided visit so you have to walk faster. There's no time to admire the architecture that it's rich in details.
Lovely old palace that was once a family home - go and hear the story of the Rioja family on a free guided tour on the hour, and admire all the opulence. My guide Eliodora spoke great English.

What a beautiful big beach with an amazing powerful ocean in front of it. Sadly, nobody was able to swim because in March it’s mighty coldwas 15°C but also very high waves that would pull you in to the Neptunes world. The beach was wonderful, and I enjoyed the sand and the restaurant, eating most amazing food while overlooking the ocean 🌊
Beautiful view of the sea, we went in July and there was a fresh weather and soft wind. It’s so funny to see children with parents playing in the beach, trying to scape of the waves and from the beach it’s also posible to see Valparaíso port. I won’t forget that time in such a beautiful place!!!
Caleta Abarca Beach it's beautiful and very clean, I love the place and I was able to spend a good time with my Chilean family, on this beach they sell some delicious churros that I highly recommend, we also rented umbrellas and chairs, the only thing that I didn't like it is that you have to pay to use the bathroom, it's the first time I've seen something like this, I don't know if it's common in Chile but I think that the bathroom must be a public right, I don't bother to pay but I felt bad for people who can't afford it.
An amazing place to swim and enjoy a lovely sunset. The vibe was really friendly. I loved it.
This is a great beach if you want to swim. They have an area delineated for swimming (unlike most of the other area beaches). There's also a couple of decent cafés that sell juices and snacks. Note to tourists: the juices are made from tap water.
What a great beach! We rented an umbrella and some chairs, swam in the ocean. The vendors are friendly. They have paid bathrooms with showers so bring your coins. This was also one of the few beaches still open on a week day after school started.
Best place to catch the sunset and enjoy a beer and fried empanadas con Cameron.
Great beach with close in parking. Make sure you bring cash bills and coins many places do not take plastic. Nice clean bathroom, but 500 pesos to use.

So much to see and do.
As far as I can figure out, this isn't generally open to the public. That's what the 2 very nice security guards protecting the entrance told me, anyway. If I'm wrong, please let me know!
Guided tour only on Thursday at 3PM and 4PM.
Place is closed on Monday
Didn't know that they had scheduled opening hours + you need to sign up! Posting a picture of their website. Only possible to attend the tour inside wednesdays and thursdays.

(Translated by Google) The Lagoon is really beautiful, it can be easily accessed on foot, by car and by private vehicle, it is a beautiful and well-kept place, you can observe wildlife and ride a boat. A lung in the middle of the city. People had picnics and shared in the different spaces, a good place to spend the afternoon. (Translated by Google) While some areas are well-maintained by the Municipality, the potential of Sausalito Lagoon as a venue for developing more sports is immense, and I believe it's not being used to its full potential. Improvements to the Skatepark, a new Bike Park, a jogging track, and a bike path around the lagoon are all needed. It's good, but there's much room for improvement.

(Translated by Google) One of my favorite places to be in peace with nature, but it needs more maintenance, every time I go there is garbage in the corners and on a couple of occasions dead birds (ducks that were buried). I invite you to take care of these spaces when you visit them, take away the garbage they produce, respect and care for the species of the place, if you have pets, use a leash and ensure that they do not attack the birds. 🤗❤️

Can get very crowded on weekends and public holidays but a nice beach to have fun with your family and relax.
No decent amenities; no restaurant where one can eat something decent; only kiosk type selling outlets offering "junk food"...could be a nice beach but definitely lacking a professional touch; one has the impression nobody really cares how this part of the coast is being managed/ run...a pity👎
Clean and welcoming beach, a little pricey but if you bring your own snacks it is perfect.
It's cool to visit when the season is off, you'll have a kind of a private beach for yourself
Ok. A nice beach. Too crowded in summer.
Good enough and a nice beach for summer
Loved every inch of it.

Organized, clean, tidy, excellent volunteers during the Pan American Games 2023
Cool place, yet no so satisfying during the concert date. ‘Cause the exit was so crowded and it didn’t work as planned.
