Actually visited only the restaurant, which frankly, was the best experience in Slovenia. All employees there were pleasant, helpful, always having a smile. About food: it was very tasty, authentic Slovenian cuisine, big portions(couldn’t eat all) and good prices. The area was very beautiful, traditional decorated. Worth visit the city and this restaurant specifically. Guys keep up the good work.
We ate dinner at the restaurant; we did not stay at the hotel. The dinner was very tasty. Slovenian traditional food. Friendly staff. Very cozy and authentic. There is no parking at the restaurant (it's in a car-free area of the town) so be sure to find out ahead of time where you can park, if you are driving there.
Lovely village, felt "authentic". We had to wait for quite some time before our food arrived (+-20min), but the quality of the food explained why. It was nothing short of delicious. Service was great and the staff was friendly. If you find yourself not being able to choose from the menu, I do recommend the tagliatelle with beef and truffle.
Food was great and very well served. Also the soup in the bread was tasty. Prices coherent with the quality. You can eat outside on the nice oldstyle street.
Super cute restaurant ! We ate outside it’s an adorable setting. The service was perfect and the food was homey and delicious. Perfect portions and great value for money. A gem !
The food was nice, not prefect , but very good! The lady there was very friendly explained us the menu and food, so much traditional stuff around feel so cozy and nice! I do recommend!
It took one hour to get the only main dish we ordered to share, even though we were the first ones to order and other tables that arrived later were served before us. We also ordered a soup that on the menu appeared to be served in bread, but it wasn’t. On top of that, the water we ordered never arrived. When I asked the waiter about the delay, he raised his voice from another table and answered rudely. The food was correct and traditional Slovenian
I sadly dont have any pictures of the food since my food died, but it looked as tasty as it was! I had gulasch and my Fiancé something with Sauerkraut , different sausages and belly meat. Both tasted fantastic and it was a rly nice experience. The Jägermeister also was fantastic. Defenetely a go to if you want good local and authentic food!

As a beekeeper, I really enjoyed the Beekeeping Museum. Right at the start, there’s a short video about the life of bees that everyone should watch—it’s very informative and gives a great introduction to these amazing insects. One of the highlights is the glass hive where you can see the bees working up close without disturbing them. The museum also showcases beautiful hive paintings that capture the essence of beekeeping. There’s a model apiary displaying traditional tools and equipment used by beekeepers, which I found very interesting. At the end, you can play a simple and fun bee game on a TV, making the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, the museum offers a great mix of education, art, and beekeeping culture. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in bees!
I didn't really expect much from this, but it was surprisingly interesting. The exhibits showed the tools and traditions of beekeeping. The entrance fee of 8 euros seemed high, but I think it was just worth it.
We visited the museum op Apiculture, beekeeping. It is very modern, has a lot of information in English and is very interactive for children. There’s a video game as well. And there’s an active beehive- look for the queen, she has a yellow dot on her back. Our kids were very enthusiastic. 🤩 🐝
Excellent museum about beekeeping in Slovenija, THE country of beekeeping! Historical presentations and artistic items, as well as informations about the life of bees. There is even a living beehive IN the museum, the bees flying through a tunnel to the outside world! Hvala lepa! (A beekeeper from Hamburg, Germany) (The entrance is near the music school, first floor of this big building!)
Hidden in the old town of Radovljica you will find this incredibly detailed museum dedicated to bees and bees keeping. There is even a living bee hive in the museum, the bees can leave through a tube through the window. It was amazing to actually look into the beehive while learning about bees.
A nice museum about beekeeping. It really shows the passion that Slovenian people have for beekeeping and nature in general. Everyone, from children to adults can find something interesting here.
This museum is surprisingly large and informative. Even my wife, who studied biology in university, learned something about bee behavior! There is also a good display about the development of beekeeping over time that we enjoyed. The highlight for us might have been the active hive where you could watch the bees go in and out, and demonstrate some of the behaviors discussed earlier in the museum!
A little corner of medieval Slovenia. Step back in time amidst these traditional houses along the original cobbled Main Street. Visit the gingerbread museum and watch how it's made.

Absolutely amazing and wonderful experience. It happened to be lunchtime after visiting art gallery and bee museum so we gave this a try, one of best decisions in two weeks in Slovenia. Charming setting and knowledgeable and friendly hostess who was managing a lot for just one person. We tried three wines (1 white, 2 red), all delicious, complemented by local cheese, stellar prosciutto, olive oil, and bread. We purchased a couple of bottles and plan to return for a different variety of three wines on a homeward journey.
Fantastic little wine bar at the entrance to the old town. Extremely good value for money, delicious wines and charcuterie, and amazing service. Will be going back again soon.
Great selection of high-quality Slovenian wines to taste and buy. Very long by-the-glass list at reasonable prices. Staff were well-informed and took so much time to help us learn about each wine. The cheese and charcuterie board was one of the best we’ve had. Definitely a must visit to explore the wines of the area.
Exceptional wine tasting experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and clearly very passionate about the wines. The 5 glass wine tasting included two red, two whites and a rose. All had their diffrent tastes and diverse flavours. I was more interested however in the fresh meat and cheeses sourced from local farms. A perfect way to spend an hour!
A lovely family with excellent wine recommendations, a wide variety and high quality of cured meats and wines. One of the best places we've been to, here in Slovenia. A shame that we discovered it on our last day, otherwise we'd definitely return!
Enjoyed the local Slovenian wines, and their home made strawberry ice tea!
We had the best wine tasting here! Lovely wines with a nice explanation each wine. Happy to further our travels with 4 excellent bottles from the store :) Thank you very much for the great evening and getting us home ♥️
We tasted special wines, cheeses and prosciutto and they were wonderful. The hostess was very nice and welcomed us warmly. We had a very pleasant experience.

Fun & Games
Slide 1 of 8
While driving by on highway and need a rest , coffee.. or if visiting this part of Slovenia just for fun here is the place to chill while kids play in safe environment (mini golf, gold search, etc). Nice location in nature easy to find (good road signs) reasonable prices (5€ for adult and 4€ for kids- minigolf 12 holes). The best thing for kids is search for gold as seen on pictures - parents can take a break while kids are having fun :)
Had a great time at this mini golf course. The staff was super friendly and even gave us a bonus fourth game for free, which made the experience even better. The course itself is fun and well maintained, and they offer drinks and pizza, though I didn’t try the pizza. A cool thing they do is give you a free second game if you tag them on your Instagram story, which is a nice little bonus. That said, the course could use a bit more variety. It’s only 12 holes and doesn’t have the classic mini golf obstacles like windmills, fun ramps, water features, or more creative terrain. It would be great to see them expand and add more interactive holes in the future. The equipment is decent, nothing fancy but it does the job. Overall, a really enjoyable place with great vibes and amazing staff. Worth a visit, especially with the bonus games😃
I went here with my family. It is very well decorated and the surrounding nature is very beautiful. There is a total of 12 holes. The owner was very nice and let us play a second free round after we tagged the place on our story. The obstacles on the course culd be a bit more diverse. And it can sometimes get a bit crowded. After all we all had a great time and would recommend.
It has been fun playing on this mini golf course, it is well maintained there are no visible damages to the green. However the courses are very similar and should increase in difficulty from one to the next one. You can even play on a hot day, 80% are in the shade of the trees 👍🏻
We are visiting this place multiple times a year because it’s cosy and perfect for kids and they also have the best waffles with Nutella😁
Adventure Mini Golf Panorama is a fun and relaxing place, perfect for both kids and adults. The mini golf course is set in the shade of the trees, which makes it very pleasant even on warm days. There’s also a small stream where children can pan for “gold” and win cute little prizes. After the game, we enjoyed refreshing homemade lemonades in a peaceful setting. Affordable prices, friendly atmosphere, and a great way to enjoy a couple of hours outdoors. Definitely recommended!
Affordable and very friendly staff :) They also give you a list to keep score and pen for each game you play. The courses are fun and semi-difficult. Would recommend
Worth visiting and have a cup of coffee or a glass of beer with a beautiful mountain view!

I had a wonderful experience with Mamut slovenia. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. They answered all of my questions patiently and provided clear, detailed information. Their friendly attitude and prompt service truly made my day. I highly recommend Mamut Slovenia to anyone who needs assistance during their trip in Bled. Thank you again for your excellent service!
I booked the horseback riding tour through Mamut. I waited 45 minutes at the office to be brought to the horse stables. The staff at the stables were very friendly. However, it is NOT a “trail ride through Triglav National Park”. We rode the horses on the road through a small village for maybe an hour and a half (I paid for 2hrs). I was just pleased to get on a horse but maybe book your horseback riding though a different company
I have booked the Emerald River tour from Mamut agency, and it was an amazing day full of beautiful landscapes, natural sights, and interesting information about Slovenija from our great guide Tjaš. It is a saturated program for the day, and we had good luck with the weather to visit all the places on our itinerary – and even some extra ones! Tjaš created a really great atmosphere in our small group, he was very helpful and recommended us great places to have snacks and lunch during the day. Since I was based in Ljubljana, the agency also organized a convenient transfer to Bled for me to join the group. The agency managers, Nik and Urska, were very friendly and helpful. I sincerely recommend this tour if you want to fall in love with this beautiful country!
Had an okay experience renting an ebike here for the day. The staff were underwhelming, and offered a phone carrier for 5 euro extra.. No recommendations or questions about where I might go, and no information about the bike or any emergency tools provided for the ride. The bike itself was well used and not running the smoothest. Overall an okay experience.
We had an outstanding experience with Mamut Slovenia during our trip. From transfers between Ljubljana and Bled to various tours, everything was organized with great professionalism and care. Communication was fast and clear, and every detail was handled smoothly. A special thank you to Nik, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly helpful, always available, and truly made our trip stress-free and enjoyable. His dedication made a huge difference. We highly recommend Mamut Slovenia to anyone visiting the area — their service is reliable, efficient, and truly exceptional. Thank you again for making our visit so memorable!
Amazing people! The scooters were top quality and great value. The staff went above and beyond—driving me 30 minutes to a bus stop where I’d left my bag with all my belongings. Truly grateful 🙏
Best agency! I enjoyed a lot a Bled lake thankfully to these guys!
What a wonderful experience and such great help from the lovely people who were here today. Very patient, friendly and very helpful. We had booked most things for Bled, but when we saw how far up the hill the castle was, we jumped at the chance to use the shuttle provided by Mamut. The driver was very nice and chatty, with some insight into Bled as well. We did have to change to a different shuttle at the lower car park, but that was easy, and our return was a phone call away, and met to be taken back with no problems whatsoever. If they are as diligent and friendly for all their activities and tours, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend their services. Thank you for making our day in Bled so much easier.

This 750 year old church was opened for visit, very similar to Loka's main church but so much brighter. Nice side Mary's altar which was tipicaly built after victory at Lepant, where Otoman navy was destroyed and Christianity was saved. Pope declared that it was virgin's Mary doing and many altars were erected in those days to her. Sadly original was lost in fire.
Stopped by and had a nice visit with the priest / mayor with a tour group from Alaska that stopped in the town for lunch and information. The building has quite a bit of history as well as many interesting features inside.
A nice old church in Radovljica, with frescoes at the ceiling, you can see old pews and the Chapel of St. Mary on the right side. Worth visiting.

(Translated by Google) The church, which stands on the site where a chapel already stood around the 10th century, dates back to the 13th century but it was around 1495 that the three-nave Romanesque basilica was transformed into a Gothic church. The external appearance of the building, which dates back to the end of the 19th century when the church was restored again in Gothic style, is sober. Inside you will notice the central nave which is decorated with an angelic star, the main altar of St. Peter, originally Gothic, was replaced in the 18th century by the black marble altar. The statues of San Leopoldo and San Nicola are interesting and are the work of Angelo Pozzo, while at the end of the southern nave, there is the chapel of Mary with the white altar dedicated to Santa Maria, the work of a young Janez Vurnik and, finally, the 17th century paintings have been preserved in the side altars of San Rocco, San Sebastiano and Santa Caterina. In front of the church there is a beautiful small square which hosts the exhibition on the development of the city of Radovljica and where there are historic city buildings, such as The Chaplaincy Tower and the Tavern, both from the 15th century.

Eat dinner here. It was amazing. We ate here as a big group and the service was excellent, the food was fun, and the atmosphere was memorable. It was one of my favorite dinners in this part of the world because of the atmosphere.
Seems like a really cute place but their website is misleading. Tours only seem to be available for groups, with no indication of minimum group size requirement. They wouldn’t offer a tour for a single person, which is fair enough but they need to make this clear on the website. The workshop is nice to look at but without the context of a tour there isn’t much to be learned from the experience. Was looking for something to do on a rainy day near Bled and this was unfortunately a wasted journey!
A small but cute museum in Radovljica. The museum is downstairs and displays persevered gingerbread from 35 years ago. Their gingerbread is designed to be kept for up to 3 years a souvenir but can be eaten within 6 months. The restaurant is on the ground floor and looks like a lovely place to dine
We visited this place as part of group tour with Gate 1. There is no gingerbread museum per se. There is small gingerbread workshop. We had vegetarian dinner which was very basic. Musicians did the best job of entertaining you. I like the musical caps game.
The posted hours are inconsistent—Google listed 9:00 AM, but the sign outside stated 11:00 AM. When we arrived, the staff ignored us and we were pretty confused with where to go. We checked out the "museum" quickly in the basement and then selected a few cookies. Unaware of the prices, we were shocked when the total came to €60 (€15 per cookie). After we politely explained our misunderstanding at the register and asked to just purchase one cookie for our daughter, the staff rudely insisted the transaction could not be canceled. We did not open any of the cookies. When we left, another couple was trying to come in and the staff turned them away saying they were still closed (it was after 11:00 AM). As for the museum itself, it was very underwhelming. The exhibit was small, poorly organized, and lacked any information about the history of gingerbread. I would not recommend including this as part of an itinerary in Bled, even on a rainy day.
Despite being there during the official opening hours, the “ginger-lady” was no longer present. A friendly hotel staff let us see the workshop, but it was certainly a disappointment that we could not experience the baking process itself. And I find it strange that we were allowed to wonder through the baking workshop without any supervision - or is there no more real ginget bread made? 🤷🏻‍♂️
Having escaped from Venice earlier in the day, we then drove through Slovenia to the Gostilna Lectar. We were tired and somewhat jaded from Venice and couldn't have been happier that when we arrived here. The owners greeted us and made us welcome. Our two rooms were wonderful (and after Venice, a bargain!). The people were friendly and interesting. The food was wonderful. The view from the dining terrace was spectacular. It was truly the highlight to our three weeks in Europe last summer and we plan on revisiting as soon as we can
I love this place always visit when we come to Slovenia to to visit family. Happy and friendly staff. Lovely rooms and food available in the hotel. And visit the Gingerbread museum downstairs.

Beautiful exhibition about the beekeeping in Slovenia brings you through all aspect of the craft. And I love the fact that I could safely watch the bees at work in their live hive.
Amazing! Traditional Slovenian gingerbread

Fresh and local products, diary for cheese and milk, fruits and vegetables, honey (different sizes in jar, but also possible to buy at a certain weight from a barrel) and various syrup and alcohol from the region. We bought some varieties of honey, that was absolutely delicious!
We were able to pick up a few items we needed. The store was clean and well organized. Worked for us.
The cashier was very friendly, variety is incredible all local and ethical. I would recommend.
Amazing store. Tons of local and organic products. Great gift ideas. Highly recommend 🌸

As a tourist, I would have done quite a bit of shopping if it hadn't been for the rude behavior of the blonde shop assistant who worked there, to say the least: I wanted to ask what variety of honey I was tasting from the dispenser and she replied that it was... honey! I asked to be able to understand with the translation what it was and he made an annoyed face, even completely indisposed by his attitude I left, but I repeat I would have bought half the shop. It's not your job... I would like to point out that I was the only customer present in the shop but she didn't pay any attention to me and moreover she was annoyed by the interest in the products. (Translated by Google) The saleswoman was not friendly, and while weighing the fruit we had chosen, she dropped the apples on the floor and put them back in the bag instead of changing them. I pointed this out to her but she refused to change them. I do not recommend this store.
(Translated by Google) Since I was disappointed with the store, it has not been here for several months. Today I checked the situation again and was pleasantly surprised by the rich offer of vegetables, fruit and meat from local Slovenian producers. I will therefore be a regular customer again in the coming weeks. At least until the next disappointment, which is quite likely. Also the frequent change of salesperson, who are therefore not exactly professional, is also a mistake. (Original) Ker sem bil nad trgovino razočaran, ne semkaj ni bilo že nekaj mesecev. Danes sem stanje ponovno preveril in bil prijetno presenečen nad bogato ponudbo zelenjave, sadja in mesa lokalnih slovenskih pridelovalcev. V naslednjih tednih bom zato tu znova redna stranka. Vsaj do naslednjega razočaranja, ki pa je dokaj verjetno. Zmoti ne tudi pogosta menjava prodajalka, ki zato niso ravno profesionalne.

Average coffee. But good place to seat down and have a relaxed conversation with friends. It's located close to other shops and even to the highway. It's easy to find a parking as well.
Coffee is okay for the “bar” place. It’s better and cheaper to take 2 cappuccino, than take double one.
It's ok and services was good.
Very good Italian style cappuccino. Friendly staff.
Nice bar, friendly staff and good service. Its allso on suny location on the edge of town.
Great place for children, nice people
