Got on my ferry to Victoria from here, pretty cool experience. The ride was about an hour and we didn't really buy anything on the ferry like food or merch or anything but it was really fun regardless. The wind at the top of the ferry is something to behold and the engine makes my voice sound all robotic, truly amazing. I do recommend the experience not gonna lie...
Busy, but very efficient ferry dock for BC ferries and others to go to islands, such as Vancouver Island. Little marketplace with food outlets and shopping vendors. It's great to have a bite to eat before docking.
Fantastic way to transport car $80 over from Vancouver to Victoria. On time, nice big clean boat, and with a cafeteria on board. Amazing views throughout the ship of the journey. Attraction in itself. Buy tickets in advance, they do fill up, especially when going with a car.
I was in Vancouver last week and decided to take the ferry to Victoria Island. We purchased ticket ahead of time and arrived with our car. It was a very smooth and fast process, you check in at the toll station and you show your boarding pass. They will assign you a lane and you go to the lane and wait for the boarding process. Surprisingly the process was very fast and efficient. They loaded over 200 cars and truck under 10-15 min. Once inside you can turn off your car and go up in the deck. They have nice sitting area, work stations, coffee shop and you can go outside and enjoy the beautiful view. It was a pleasant experience.
We got there just less than an hour from the next ferry to leave for Victoria. We paid at the entrance booth to the ferry terminal. The price for the car and two people was very reasonable. No need to book ahead. There was no extra charge for making the reservation. We got the line to go to and we drove there and placed our car next in line. It seems people get out of their cars and go shopping and eating at the enclosed mall. The building was great! Wonderful quality shops and many nice priced places to eat. Then, off to the car and enjoyed our hour and 30 minute trip. The ferry was pleasant and the view was very nice, Great experience!
BC Ferries are well-organized, speedy and clean. Booking our tickets online proved to be a wise decision, as it spared us any delays upon entering the terminal. Our ferry departed on schedule, and the boarding process was smooth and hassle-free. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking in every direction. Regrettably, the prices are notably steep. Nevertheless, the ferry journey itself was a delightful experience. Brace yourself for the wind on the ferry deck. We captured so many pictures. I thoroughly enjoy boarding the ferry at Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal.
Arrived 1:10 early and they said do we want to go on the earlier boat, yes please. Restaurant closed on Sunday but vending machines. Boat really smooth and the views are amazing of the little islands to Vancouver Swartz Bay. Tip make your way to the sun terrace at the top it’s the warmest and best views.
I Love the ferry terminal. Washrooms are always clean. Instructions are which line up to get in are clear. I think there is lots to enjoy as a casual user. Just be sure to get a reservation as sometimes the ferry can be very busy and it does get boring to have to wait a sailing or two….

Pleasantly surprised to find such a large shopping mall with large spaces and shops of all kind. This is all in one floor (which is unusual), and it's very easy to get around. Kids were having a great time among some dedicated leisure area and the available electric mini scooter to drive around the mall. Some luxury brands are also avaliable, giving the visitors the full experience in one shot. Going back and highly recommended to everybody!

I did an adults day at this park with my husband and my brother and we had a total blast! We had so much fun trying all the slides. We were there all day and noticed later in the day they adjusted the water, so the slides were all way faster and way more fun! The boomerango was quite the adrenaline rush. So we were glad to chill in the hot tub after. Though, we did notice there wasn’t an adults only hot tub as advertised on the website. The adult only one also has kids that the staff didn’t do anything about. But it was a slow day at the park, and it didn’t bother us having the kids there so we didn’t mind. Just something to note if you were hoping for a kid fee hot tub, I wouldn’t count on it. The food was really good and big servings. We thought it seemed a little pricey until our orders arrived, and I couldn’t believe my burger not only came with fries but a lovely selection of veggies too! All our orders came with the veggies, which was not advertised so that was a really nice surprise. It was tasty too! Being a slow day at the park, they closed the food early. So we were sad when we wanted ice cream at 5 that it was already closed. However, they did announce over the speakers they were closing the food and did a last call for it, but we just didn’t hear what it said. Just a good note to pay attention to the announcements! My husband and I traveled from Victoria, with my brother joining us from Vancouver. They have a free shuttle that picks up from the ferry terminal that takes you to the waterpark which was awesome! Overall it was an absolute blast of a day, we had so much fun! Rented a locker for our valuables and set up a nice spot on the grass for our towels and stuff so we had a spot to go to, to just hang out and meet. As adults, it definitely was enough water slides for us. It was the stairs that really got us. And we could see bringing our nieces and nephews here as they would absolutely love it. A super fun day to do something different and we were glad we could go on a weekday when it wasn’t as hot out as well, because we had almost no lines for all the slides.
If you're deciding between Big Splash and Cultus Lake Waterpark, here’s a firsthand comparison—we’ve been to both, and the difference is noticeable. My 12-year-old daughter found Big Splash disappointing, especially after experiencing Cultus Lake. The park is significantly smaller, with fewer slides, and some of them have peeling paint that actually caused discomfort when sliding down. Both she and her friend complained that the gravel walkways were painful on bare feet—definitely not kid-friendly. As a parent, I was struck by how Big Splash charges for nearly everything—and the costs add up quickly. Despite visiting on a weekday, admission was slightly more expensive than Cultus Lake’s weekday rate. Then we paid an additional $20 for parking, and if you want a picnic table or bench, it’s another $28. Outside food isn’t allowed, although we did notice people sneaking some in without staff intervening. The on-site food options are limited to burgers, pizza, and fried fare, with a few healthier items like veggie sticks and fresh fruit—but at $9, those felt overpriced. Big Splash’s biggest advantage is proximity: if you live in Vancouver, it’s much closer than Cultus Lake, saving you considerable driving time. There is a small grassy area where you can set up a shelter or blanket, and I highly recommend bringing your own shade structure and chairs to avoid baking in the sun—unless tanning is your thing. For those willing to splurge, the park offers private cabanas ($175-$205) including a high-end one perched above the others that gives off a very “look down on the world” vibe and costs $350 to book on weekdays and an astonishing $450 on weekends. Those prices do not include admission and parking, but if you can afford those cabanas, then I doubt you’ll worry about admission fees or parking. Compared to Cultus Lake Waterpark, Big Splash felt underwhelming and overpriced. Cultus offers more slides and variety, free parking, shaded picnic areas, and a better overall experience—especially for families. For us, the choice is clear: next time, we’ll be heading back to Cultus Lake, where the fun lasts longer and the fees are fairer.
This is a lovely waterpark with nice staff. We purchased twilight tickets and still managed to have a good time from 3pm to 6pm. The slides were fun for a non-swimmer like me. I took the boomerang, eddy’s eagle run and solar splash . The wait time for the rides was like 5-7 minutes which was not too bad. I also enjoyed the food very much and the portions were quite large. My kids also had lots of fun in the hot tub and kids pool. I highly recommend this water park for families with little kids.
We went with 3 different families on commute from Vancouver on a Friday. 15-minute walk from Tsawassen Mills. It wasn't a long lineup in entrance. There are only 3 people behind us around 1pm. All the waterslides wasnt that too busy. Just fair amout of guest. The staff are friendly and helpful. One of the staff took our group picture on our way out. Very nice gentleman. I think it would be nice if they have a lagoon and artificial beach. But overall, the kids had a good time.
What an absolute blast - so much water, fun, sliding and swimming and jumping - for kids and for adults. 40 something bucks per head to get through the door, which is money well spent… If you’re going to pay the extra money for a cabana, which is a great idea by the way, be prepared to overspend. The extras that you pay for aren’t great and are pretty expensive. Buy your tickets in advance and be prepared to pay $20 for parking. Burgers and fries is also about 20 bucks but they’re pretty delicious.
We just returned from our second visit to the Big Splash. Our last visit was in 2023. For the most part, we really enjoyed ourselves. Just a couple notes: Pros: The free shuttle is a very appreciated service, and it makes the day more affordable not having to bring a vehicle. The staff are very friendly. The food is good! I noticed the fries being cut from potatoes in the back, it’s nice that the food is scratch made. The rides are fun, although there is less selection than Cultus. Cons: Outside food is not allowed, and options are expensive. $9 for fries, $9 for a fruit bowl, $8 for a slice of pizza. We were able to bring lunch in the last time we visited which was great, and it would be nice to be able to again next season. You have to pay for everything- lockers are $21 ($10 back if you return your key), tables are $30, etc. We bring a tent to set up on the grassy area.
Considering we got there with only an hour left in the day, $20 for parking was a bit of a kick in the nuts. Otherwise, my son had a great time while I enjoyed the soothing sound of a thousand children screaming for no apparent reason. The great thing about all the screaming is that it made $18 seem cheap for pre-mixed cocktail. I must say, and without sarcasm, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I recommend saving up for about 9 years and renting the whole thing for yourself. No kids, no friends. That's the life....
BIG SPLASH BIGGER Disappointment I am very disappointed in how opening day went I came here with some friends for opening day 2 rides were closed (Eddie Eagle run and Solar splash open about an hour and 30 min after opening) do to maintenance as well as the other hot tub was not working and was very cold some of my friends where able to get free passes for the next visit how ever I was not able to get free passes for me and my girlfriend if your not ready for opening day then I would push your opening day I paid 88$ to come in and with rides not working I was very upset. The manager who gave out the free passes to my friends was very rude towards me. I would also like free passes or some sort of compensation in return for a terrible experience. I hope I get a manager who replies to my review 44$ per person is a little steep as well as 30$ to rent. A table plus 20$ for parking the park was very empty for an opening day (UPDATED June 29 one of the managers David got back to me about my inquiry via Email and took care of my issue I had. ( I switched my rating because of this, minus 1 star for the best slide being closed (eddy’s eagle run)

We only visited for happy hour and enjoyed the lovely view and super friendly service. Arriving after lunch, we weren't very hungry, so we ordered lattes and a cocktail. The sandwich was a bit plain, but the sweet potato fries and potato skins were quite good. Overall, it was a pleasant time spent with family, enhanced by the beautiful view.
Tsawwassen Springs is a bright and modern wedding venue south of Vancouver, surrounded by open greens and mountain views in the distance. The natural light, spacious event areas, and contemporary design make it a beautiful choice for medium to large size of weddings. As wedding officiants, we’ve enjoyed leading ceremonies here and seen how well the space adapts to different styles: from elegant indoor receptions to outdoor vows on the patio. Location-wise, it is a bit farther to drive compared to other Vancouver venues, but the extra travel is rewarded with a peaceful setting, fewer crowds, and a unique backdrop for wedding photos. For couples searching for a Delta or Tsawwassen wedding venue that blends modern amenities with a scenic golf course atmosphere, Tsawwassen Springs is an excellent choice. Course is in pristine condition. The first 10 holes are v tight - pretty nerving. Lots of fores and errant shots flying. Our group almost got smoked twice on two separate holes. Back 8 really opens up nicely. Pace of play was fair. Good time for our threesome but our fourth solo was a bit of an odd bird
This place is beautiful and great for the price. My wife and I missed a ferry back to Nanaimo, so I was lucky enough to get a tee time at 4 p.m. The first few holes were good, and since I was playing alone, I figured I’d have plenty of time to finish 18 — we had about four hours to kill. But on the 5th hole, five players jumped in front of me. They started and then skipped ahead to hole 6. I called the pro shop, since I play every weekend at Nanaimo Golf Course and normally that kind of thing doesn’t fly. The pro shop said they’d check it out, and they did talk to the group — but it seemed like they were friends with the young kid at the counter, because nothing was done. They just let them keep playing. As a result, I and the groups behind me had to wait an average of 15 minutes on each hole while these five took forever on the greens, hitting multiple balls and messing around. We kept apologizing to the people behind us, saying we had already called the pro shop but nothing was done. Eventually, some groups left, and we also ran out of time. We ended up leaving after hole 11. It’s a shame, because this is a beautiful course. But after that experience, I definitely won’t be back — and I’ll be letting my buddies know to avoid it too.
We recently had our wedding here and could not recommend the venue enough. Our guests commented on the gorgeous venue (we had the option to have our ceremony on the outdoor terrace with the beautiful backdrop of nature), and raved about the food. But what really made our experience truly special was the venue event coordinator Lauren. She was so responsive and helpful at every step and went above and beyond to ensure we were at ease. Thank you Lauren from the bottom of our hearts for making our experience truly memorable!
I have a mixed feelings about this course, because sometimes i feel good and sometimes its bad, the conditions vary by weather and season. Layout is very short but fun. Lots of water and hard tight holes like no 3. I love the tournaments here
Pro shop needs to pay attention immediately, I had a tee time yesterday at 12:20 about. And the conditions were great, but my pairing was really innapropriate. I was playing with my friend and we got paired in the same group as a young men named Arlo, first he was really disturbing and loud so we had to turn his speaker off resulting him ALMOST driving the cart into a creek, then he told my friend to shut up and started dancing on the cart. We already reported to the pro shop and they said they will investigate, thanks for keeping the golf course safe from freaky ahh ppl
One of my favourite golf courses in Vancouver that even though I'm out in Coquitlam, I try to make a note to hit it up each season The Good - They run 10 minute tee times so it doesn't ever truly get clogged up for timing, and pace of play runs well there - The practice range/facility is nice as they have a good size putting/chipping green, plus the range is right beside hole #1 so you can go for a quick warm up and then hop onto the course - While the course is "packed in" a bit, I do feel it's well designed so the greens/tee boxes aren't too close to each other to be of danger, but still be weary and keep ears open for any "fores" - Pat Quinn's Restaurant & Bar there is always a great spot to hit before or after the round, and great flavors - The course itself is gorgeous, and fair/challenging course that is more for targeted/distance control golf instead of just long bombers The "Bad" / Meh - The course is only a par 70, and they don't really have much room to expand/grow the course much more. However, that's not a bad thing for this course either imo - I have seen a few colleagues who prefer the longer style courses to be able to have more "room for error" to bomb weren't big fans because it was a shorter course, and some of the fairways are definitely less forgiving if you aren't as accurate as you are a long-driver - The course is semi-private, so the public tee times can be a bit challenging to get, and do wish they'd open up more tee times for public to book earlier, but that's just a minor pet peeve Overall, it's a good solid course plus it's also close to the ferry terminals for those who might want to try to slip in another round before they go over to Vancouver Island (or even as the first stop after arriving from Vancouver Island)

Went last week for a friends Birthday. Staff was amazing and helpfull, gear was great for all ranges of player experience, field was amazing with such a diverse terrain layout, and best part, the Staff let us play Capture the Flag at the end. 100% recommend, and will def be coming back!
Tried paintball here and it was an absolute blast! The field layout was exciting with plenty of spots to hide, strategize, and make epic moves. The gear was well-maintained, and the staff were super friendly, safety-focused, and made sure everyone was having fun. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, the games keep your adrenaline pumping from start to finish. Perfect for friends, family, or team-building. Already planning my next round! Carlene and faith helped us a lot.
This is an awesome facility! It was our first time and we had so much fun. The instructors were really nice and made it super enjoyable. Carlene and Faith did so good to make our experience very memorable! Will definitely be coming back.
The circuit was good with a good build up of places to hide and plan/strategize. The gun was good. The face masks need to be better as fiberglass is not clean enough and cause discomfort. The instructions provided were not clear and was rushed through.
Had a spectacular time here for a friend’s birthday. Good briefing session and the staff were very helpful. Kaylie assisted in solving an issue with the overalls I was wearing so that they were more comfortable. Thanks for the great experience!
Went for my buddies birthday, and for most of us it was our first/second time playing paint ball. We were the only group and it was fun for the first couple matches when it was only us, and then the employees started playing too. They were a lot better than us and knew where to sit in the back of the playing area to pick us off from across the map.
I had an incredible time! From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. The staff were friendly, professional, and made sure everyone understood the rules and safety guidelines before hitting the field. They were patient with beginners while still keeping things exciting for experienced players. A special shoutout to Carlene and Faith for being especially helpful!
Great staff and experience, super fun. The layout of the facility is great too. 5/5! Thanks for having us!

Don’t be intimidated….they’ll cut the apple for you. A quick snack before heading out on the coastal ferries. Go for a candy apple and get it cut so you can share. It’s also less messy and no one in their right mind would be caught dead eating an toffee apple off a stick unless you are ten. Enjoy
Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is a chocolate lover's paradise! From the moment I walked in, the delightful aroma of chocolate filled the air, making it impossible to resist trying something delicious. The selection of chocolates, fudge, and treats is simply amazing. I especially enjoyed their handmade truffles and caramel apples, which were rich and indulgent. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, happily offering samples and recommendations. I appreciated how clean and inviting the store was, making it a pleasant place to browse. Whether you’re looking for a sweet gift or a treat for yourself, this place has something for everyone. I can't wait to return and try more of their delectable offerings!
The Mexican restaurant is owned by them too but it’s not on google maps. How convenient. I know this because I saw the employees walking back and forth between the shops. Be careful of these con artists. I paid for triple scoops of grilled chicken but stared at her only giving two. It’s only when I interrupted her that she gave me the last scoop which I paid for. They were giving bombastic side eyes after that and I wouldn’t be surprised if they spat in my burrito. Extra protein I guess.
I recently visited Rocky moutain chocolate factory. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the vibrant display of chocolates that were not only visually stunning but also creatively crafted. Each piece of chocolate was a work of art, boasting a rich palette of colors that immediately caught my eye. The creativity infused into each chocolate was evident, with unique shapes and intricate designs that showcased the chocolatier's exceptional skill and imagination. What truly set this chocolate shop apart was the luxurious feel of the chocolates. The textures were silky smooth, and each bite melted in my mouth, releasing a symphony of flavors that were both rich and refined. It was clear that high-quality ingredients were used, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the chocolates was remarkable. The shop itself exuded an elegant and welcoming ambiance, making it the perfect place to indulge in some of the finest chocolates I've ever tasted. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate, eager to share their expertise and help me select the perfect assortment. In conclusion, Rocky moutain chocolate factory offers a chocolate experience like no other. The combination of creativity, vibrant aesthetics, and luxurious quality makes it a must-visit destination for any chocolate lover. I highly recommend treating yourself to their exquisite creations—you won't be disappointed.
I visited Rocky Mountain Chocolate today and had a great experience! The chocolate was absolutely delicious, and the store had a wide variety of treats to choose from. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel welcome. I’ll definitely be coming back!
They have the cutest chocolate designs and ofcourse they taste really good too. It looks lousy everytime, only a few people dropping by here abd there so I was hesitant to give it a try and thought it wasn't really that good. But I was wrong. I love their chocolates and I think it would be noce to have them on kiddie themed parties too.
If you love the best sweet treats, then this place is a must. I have tasted most of it. Never had anything negative to say. Love it. Remember to save some for the wife, though. Service is still good. Treat selection is growing. Chocolate covered Nanaimo Bars is now a big hit. So much delicious choices. If you have a furry best buddy, a furry loving cookie awaits. Always very cute selections.
Visited Rocky Mountain Chocolate – very good! So many tasty options, and everything was fresh and delicious. Great place for a sweet treat. Highly recommend!
