Wow what an AMAZING camp ground!!! We are seasoned campers. Have been to quite a few camp grounds, and this one by far is one of the best. The owners are amazing, extremely kind and you can tell they put their heart into this camp ground!!! The seasonals were all very friendly as well!! We stayed in the rustic cabin and it was awesome! The beds are extremely comfortable, the air conditioner was a life saver!! As a seasoned camper, there are a few things we look for. And pleasant Beach camp ground have it all. The wood I WELL WORTH the money, burns prefect. The showers were great and the beach was the best!! On our last night there we even had a chance to see the fire works, that a near by camp group lite up Keep in mind this is a very old camp ground, so there were somethings that, like the very cool light switch in the showers, gave it that old school feel!! We can't wait to go back!!
Camped in a tent next to our friends Camper. The RV lot was tight but had lots of trees to provide shade and some open areas for kids to play. This is a multi generational campground. We went to a couple of the beaches. The private beach we went to was packed with people, square canopy tents, off road vehicles and golf carts. It was also very noisy. Think of 10 speakers all playing different music near max volume. The public beach was much smaller and much quieter. The beach part is quite deep so there is room to play. It is right next to another private beach which is also accessible if you have a P.B. Campground pass.
Pleasant Beach campground is wonderful! The owners are amazingly nice and helpful. We stayed on a tent site, and the owner brought over a huge wheelbarrow of wood and stacked it for us right when we arrived. The whole park is quiet and respectful. Short walk to the beach, which is stunning and usually super laid back. We upgraded to a small cabin during the 40+ heat wave/thunderstorms this summer. The owners were great and just added the difference into our bill. The cabins are wonderful, spacious and have A/C! Will be lucky to stay here again.
Loved it here. The new owners are very friendly and customer service oriented. The campground is always clean, washroom in perfect condition too. We've been here twice, camping and in a trailer, loved both experiences. We will be returning for a couple more weekends in the cabins this season and for sure next year as well. The beach is Awsome and just steps away from the campground. Very family oriented as well! Loved it!
New owners and what a difference!! The park is very clean, as are the washrooms. The new owners and staff are pleasant and very helpful. It was nice to see new a new playground for kids and different events such as scavenger hunts and movies under the stars. They have even revamped the store and have numerous items and sundries available. The open air concerts they had featuring some of the staff and some of the campers were awesome - such talent!!!! In talking with the new owners, it is nice to know they have plans to continue to improve the park - they are open to listening to the people using the park and appreciate feedback. We look forward to camping here in the upcoming years!!!! Good work Yvonne and John - your work around the park was amazing. Well done Tami and Kurt - I'm sure you will continue to make positive improvements and upgrades that will make this park THE place to be!!!
We were there for the labour day long weekend and had such high hopes. We stayed in one of the cabins as did our friends. Cabins weren't as clean as we were hoping for so we did have to scrub it down prior to unpacking. (fridge was pretty disgusting). Washrooms and showers need a lot of work very run down (especially showers). its pretty obvious that this site is more for the permanent trailers that will not be using the facilities. People are awesome, pleasant beach itself is a very short walk away, and the place is very family friendly. Not big on leaving poor reviews but I don't think I would recommend to anyone not staying in a trailer that has its own facilities.
Beautiful place with a nice play ground and clean washrooms and nice staff. We rent a cabana and enjoy the outside place with our kids as it’s full of trees it is also very in a very convenient location if you want to enjoy the beaches. Unfortunately there is 2 things I don’t like it firstly the cabana was dirt, lots of dust, spider-an spider webs and flys everywhere (even when we keep the door closed all the time) we don’t even want to use the upper level as it looks very bad maintenance. I really like to arrive to a nice and clean place to rest, I hope they keep more careful of the maintenance of the Cabanas so next time we have a better experience, the second thing I wish could be better it’s the showers it really need to being renovated please, plus you have to paid $25 cents wen the price of the place it’s already high.
The location of this site is excellent. Only a few minutes walk from a lovely 😊 beach 🌊 We stayed in a cabin and the kids loved it. It was so cosy. We are a big family of six and we fit well into the cabin. The owners are super 👍🏻 friendly and did everything to make our stay perfect 👌. The cabin village is still under construction 🔨 and hence a little bit messy - however we still give five stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
