Elegant, 18km-long suspension bridge linking eastern & western Denmark, with a railway tunnel.
Slide 1 of 8
The biggest hanging bridge between Fyn and Sjælland. You can also take railroad trip aswell as motor traffic. It’s an amazing bridge I wished weather was better to take better pics and videos but since not so ;( . If you don’t want to stick in line by paying so it’s best idea get Brobizz and register nummer plate and past faster . For now it’s costing to use bridge and it’s little expensive but after 30 years of made dato will be free as they saying ✌️
Ludicrously Expensive. You have to treat this as an attraction, I.e. an experience that you're paying for. As such, enjoy the view, get your passengers to take photos, and if you can, head to the free parking at the Isbådsmuseet on the Sjælland side to get a different view. We took our car from Scotland, so we had the unique experience of a rare RHD going over. 230kr. One way, though (£26 GBP). At that price, I wouldn't like it to be my regular commute.
First thing - it's quite expensive, 230DKK is nothing cheap for simple bridge you will pass in few minutes. But it is good shortcut and interesting landmark. You can stop by next of some small (free) boat museum and enjoy the view, if you don't have rainy weather like we did.
Adore it — Storebæltsbroen is more than an engineering icon — it cut travel time across Denmark by over an hour and symbolically united the country’s eastern and western regions. The eastern suspension bridge carries rail and road decks on separate levels, with cables containing ~18k individual steel wires—enough to circle the Earth nearly four times. Each pylon stands on caissons sunk into the seabed with millimeter accuracy, built to endure winds of 80 m/s and ship collisions up to 300000 tons.
I have used the Great Belt Bridge in Denmark a few times, which connects Zealand and Fyn islands. It's an incredible piece of architecture with stunning sea views. Spanning a total of 18 km, it's the longest bridge in the region. If you use BroBizz, you can get a discounted toll price. Driving across at 110 km/h, the experience is truly enjoyable with breathtaking panoramic views. Highly recommend for anyone driving between the islands!
07/19/2025@10:00 pm: Payment Impossible, no service contact available and no one takes care of toll gates. Police had to be called because service number was not operating at night. Total mess other direction one toll gate got destroyed. Due to it is not foreseen for foreigners to pay other than by card or by cash a long trafic jam was resulted. This is tourist unfriendly because other toll gates support online based pre-paid systems. Additional confusion because payments randomly only worked after double payment and following vehicles were confused if to go or stay and ask police if to pass unpaid or wait. In case of an emergency the non working payment systems could cause a potential security risc from resulted traffic jams because in case of emergency help will arrive with a long delay. Think over and change it!
Cheapest way to drive from Germany to Norway is over this bridge. You get a beautiful view of the country
The Great Belt Bridge is a multi-element fixed link crossing the Great Belt strait between the Danish islands of Zealand and Funen. It consists of a road suspension bridge and a railway tunnel in the middle of the Great Belt, and a box-girder bridge for both road and rail traffic. The total length is 18 kilometres.

Expert guides tell the story of Jameson in a recreated distillery scene with tastings and dining.
Slide 1 of 8
It was incredible experience. Our tour guide was amazing. First you get free welcome drink - you have 3 options from Jameson (Jameson with lime and ginger is amazing). Then you go to first room, it’s about history of Jameson. Second room is about how to make Jameson and on third you learn about differences, how to smell and taste different Jamesons. With this guide, it was really amazing and I could stay longer than 45 minutes.
My wife and I took this tour on a Monday morning a few hours before our flight home and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very animated and obviously loved his job! Great tour through history all the way to current time. Definitely recommend this tour for any whiskey aficionados or anyone with just a taste for Jameson.
I paid about $26 for the Jameson Distillery tour and it was worth every penny. They start with a really cool 3D projector story about the history and how Jameson is made, then you move into a tasting room where you try four different Jamesons and learn how to properly smell and taste whiskey. It truly feels like a world-class experience. The premium ones were noticeably smoother (whiskey by itself definitely grows hair on your chest 😂), but it was fun, informative, and delicious. After the tasting, you get a drink included — they already have a bar set up with several cocktail options, and if you want another drink afterward you can buy more. The tour guide was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, and made it feel like he actually believed every part of the history. It was so good I found myself thinking, “Do y’all hire? I could work here too.” The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll even hold your bags if you’re coming straight from the airport like I was. There’s merchandise at the end if you want to shop, and the whole experience is just a lot of fun from start to finish. I would 100% come back and I’d tell anyone visiting Dublin to add this to their trip.
What an unforgettable experience at the Jameson Distillery! We opted for the Secret Whiskey Package and savored every moment. The tour was a delightful blend of history, craftsmanship, and fun, with fascinating insights into the company’s founder and the art of whiskey making. The highlight? Learning the skills of whiskey tasting, followed by a truly delicious sampling experience. Despite the bustling crowd of fellow travelers, the staff made us feel so special and welcome. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!
Had a fantastic tasting tour on my second visit to this iconic Irish distillery. The guide’s deep knowledge and entertaining presentation made the experience memorable. It’s no wonder Jameson remains one of the world’s top selling whiskeys. Highly recommended!
Exactly everything you'd expect from a distillery tour. Great tour guide, samples of the whisky, and the best ambiance. All the employees were stellar and very nice to chat with. You can also purchase exclusive bottles you can't get anywhere else in the world.
This is one of the best distillery tour I’ve ever done! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Our tour guide was really informative and had a great demote of knowledge about the history of Jameson’s. I’m not usually a Whiskey drinker but after trying a Jamesons, Ginger Ale and Lime in the bar I am converted.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jamison Distillery. I went with my husband and my daughter. It was very informative and quite interesting. There were several experiences during the tour. We tasted whiskeys that we hadn't tried before. Our new favorite one is Black Barrel. We've bought a bottle now that we're back home and have shared it with a neighbor. He is now a fan! I recommend going on this tour. It's fun, educational, and it even has a cute little shop inside.

Great harbour Well equipped, restaurant, playground and crab/fishing spot for kids
The marina is big and seam to always be a spot to be at with the boat. Prices are below advage. The facilities are a bit like a camping site in regards to thr showers and toilets. Also I believe there to be to few facilities for a marina this size. Last time we came the staff was really good to assist in ensuring er got registrated. 10-20 min walt to shopping facilities. 2 min walk to a small beach
Very small and crowded campsite overlooking the sea. Clean bathrooms. Garbage and elsan dump. Restaurant. Electric and water if you can get a good place. Recommended
The marina and the facilities were fine and we spent a comfortable night here. Also not too expensive. I think the town is underrated, whilst a bit run down and not much of a shopping centre, historically it had some really interesting places...
Nice place shower water crazy hot and unable to cool Nice place for camper, but as always the Germans think it's OK to take 2 or 3 places with their tables and chairs
Beautiful view and lovely water to jump in

We were driving from Holstebro to Copenhagen and stopped for an early dinner. We had been recommended to visit the museum by friends who had passed previously. Its a great wee museum with fascinating stories and photography, and the boats on show are in such good condition, considering their stories. The setting next to the bridge is also so impressive and seems great for fishing. Interesting for kids and adults alike and it's free with a suggested donation.
This was a quick little look through of the history of the area and boats. There was a special focus on winter I feel! Free entrance but donations welcome. It had good info and pictures. A bit chilly in the building. The toilets on the outside of the building were big and clean. Plenty of parking next to the building.
Great small museum dedicated to the iceboats. Very good initiative.
A must visit when driving thrugh Denmark. Great views, a lovely clean toilet with free poetry on the door and nice clean picknick erea. A bit hard to find but there is no better place to stop for a piss and picknick in all of Denmark.
A small free museum about the ice ships and ferry traffic across the Great Belt. Some of the ice ships are on display and plaques with pictures tell the story. There is a toilet on site and a great view of the Storebæltsbroen.
Small local boat museum, free of charge (so you may stop by and make your bridge toll charge worth), nice outlook on bridge nearby.
Fantastic scenery of Storebelt Has a public wc Free parking
Best place to take pictures of the bridge. Point of view and parking place are free👌😊

(Translated by Google) Well maintained church, was there for a very close friend's funeral 😥 (Original) Velholdt kirke , var der til en meget nært veninder s bisættelse 😥
(Translated by Google) A beautiful village church located in incredibly beautiful surroundings. The church was built around the year 1200 in connection with the royal castle Tårnborg, which was located on the hill northwest of the church. Around the castle there was a barn and a considerable settlement with many houses. Royal letters, which were issued at Tårnborg for the first time in 1254 and throughout the following 100 years, tell that the kings used Tårnborg and ruled from here in the early Middle Ages. Over time, Tårnborg lost its importance, conditions changed politically and militarily, shipbuilding developed - the Norman ship "Koggen" was created. This type of ship was considerably larger and went deeper than the previous Viking ships, and there was not enough water depth for the keg to sail across the Noret. The trade therefore took place at Korsør. The castle was demolished in the period 1350-1425 and Tårnborg church was then left alone. The original church consisted of a nave and a choir, built in the Romanesque style. In early Gothic times, the choir was extended to the east with a vaulted section. After that, Gothic vaulting was built into the church and a sacristy was built. Around 1400 the tower was built. The main entrance to the church was moved to the tower, and the three original entrances were walled up. In 1847, a major repair was carried out. Underneath, the original, high-seated Romanesque windows were bricked up, and the current large pointed arched windows were carved out. The large oak crucifix above the altar is Gothic woodcarving from around 1350 - 1400. The baptismal font is probably from the 13th century and is made of Gotland limestone. In 1994-95, the National Museum's experts uncovered and restored the paintings in the chancel arch and in the chancel vaults. They were painted in the 14th century and are rare and very worthy of preservation.

Probably the best view of the West Bridge. If you got some time also try walking further north along the small paths. There's a great view of the protected wildlife area of Lejodde.
Great views from here. Beware: possible lethal drops from the tall cliffs. Children should be supervised at all times.
