When you buy a ticket to the citadel they say that there are two libraries, a museum, models of old ships and an observation deck. In fact, the two libraries are just shelves with books that you can't read, the ship models are a small room with different models of ships that have nothing to do with Budva, just bought at a flea market. The only thing is the observation deck, from which you can see the city. If you are ready to pay 5.5 euros for a photo, then this is for you. The beach seemed beautiful with crystal clear waters. Unfortunately on the day we visited, it was very crowded, hardly any places to walk or sit on the beach. We went in October and had a great time!! The beach is so nice. There also weren’t to many people around. There was enough space to lay down. All the bars, stores and the toilets were closes however. But that is normal for the off season. It’s a great place to take pictures and overall enjoy the nature of Budva!!

We visited Mogren Beach in the middle of summer, around noon, and it was extremely crowded. We walked from Old Budva City Center all the way to Mogren 2 Restaurant along a stunning, well-paved path right on the water — the walk itself is definitely worth the trip. Once you arrive, you’ll find that the beach is mostly fine rocks and pebbles, but there are wooden pathways to make getting around easier. Loungers, chairs, and umbrellas are available for rent (€20–30 per person, depending on the row you choose). There are also lockers for valuables, plenty of restaurants, and places to grab drinks. Because it was so busy, we ended up sitting by the rocks instead of renting loungers. A big tip: bring water shoes — the rocks can be painful to walk on. The water temperature was typical for the Adriatic in summer: refreshing and perfect for cooling off. Overall, Mogren Beach is a beautiful spot with plenty of amenities, but in peak summer it can be frustrating to find space. If you don’t mind the crowds, it’s worth the visit for the views, the clear water, and the lively atmosphere.

Absolutely gorgeous a must visit if you are in Budva. It is so captivating and if you are lucky you can also capture the sun or the moon in the photos as well.

One of the few places you can visit in Budva. Super close to Old Town and the way towards it offers great views of the see with outer Basilica walls. If you’d like some extra pictures, can go. But don’t get too upset if you didn’t get to chance to see it.

What a sight to behold! It’s gorgeous during a clear day and magical during the sunset. You cannot miss this if you’re in Budva. Just a couple of minutes of walk from the old town towards the ‘secret Mogren beach’. You have to be patient with crowds leaning over the railings or even getting on the rocks (which is indeed risky) for pictures. Take your time and appreciate the beauty. Please do not litter.

Was a great bronze statue, relative easy to find too and not far from the main gate of the old town of Budva. One thing that was not mention is you can only take picture of the statue from the direct front, as that would mean you would be in the sea water. Also that it can be crowded on the woodenpath as people stop by to take their photo of this statue.

Beautiful Budva ballerina. it’s a local symbol with a perfect photo view of the city walls. After that you can take a bath on the beach near by, just keep walking thru the path.

I walked here from Budva center, the way down is a bit adventurous but nothing extreme. At the end of September there were hardly any people, the weather was super nice and water was perfect. 😊🌊

Jaz Beach is big, clean, and just a really nice place to hang out. It’s got the Blue Flag, so the water and beach are super well-kept. What I loved most was renting a SUP board and paddling along the coast — there are some amazing spots you can only see from the water. Perfect mix of relaxing and little adventure!

In mid September the weather was still good (mid 20c) and the water was warm. The beach was not overcrowded and the sand and water were clean. The toilets were locked all day but they had external showers and changing rooms (cubicle with a flap of fabric covering it, good enough) Sunbeds are available to rent for 10eur each for the day.

This is one of my favorite beaches, especially at the beginning of the season, when other places are already crowded. The water is crystal clear and beautiful. There are plenty of sunbeds and beach beds, a large parking area, and always enough space for everyone. Closer to the bar, the atmosphere is livelier — mostly adults, loud music, and a DJ playing. On the opposite side, it’s quieter, with a swimming pool for children. Ploče also has a restaurant, paid showers (€0.50), clean toilets, and several pools. This year, they upgraded the umbrellas and added mattresses to the sunbeds. The price is €15 per set. It would be great if they installed changing cabins near the toilet area. I’ve also seen some reviews mentioning that children aren’t allowed at the foam party — which is totally fine, since it’s held in the adults-only bar area.

The venue is expansive, with seating for around 2,000 people and plenty of parking. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and would definitely return.

Really liked this place, we went to many beaches along the coast until we decided we enjoyed spending the entire day here the most. The prices for the beds are good, I don't mind paying for the beds and sunbed if the price is fair! There is a friendly team who take drinks orders all day and the prices are ok. The water is great and clean (need sea shoes or course) would recommend. Plenty of activities for all ages, quiet relaxing spots as well as lively music areas!

I think the water park is a good idea but the ticket to come in is in my eyes very overpriced. We were four so it was around 100Euros. Plus you cannot take drinks and food with you because you should go and buy some overpriced food. It's a cool water park with quite some amount of slides but I think there are to high prices. I mean, you pay adult price for a 8 year old child that's over 130cm. I don't think its worth more then once

Arrived early at 1000 as we expected sunbeds to be in high demand, but it was never a problem. Being high on a hill, the umbrellas get blown down quite a lot if windy, which is annoying. Slides are pretty good, although have strict height limits. Make sure your kids are tall enough for the bigger slides (one of ours wasn't, and he was not very happy about it...) Ambience of the place is a bit bland at the moment, lots of concrete and not many trees. Food was ok, cooked to order. Bit expensive overall we thought, which may explain why it was quieter than expected.

Their only complaint was of burning feet - probably due to a combination of roasting-hot concrete tiles and the depleted uranium core buried deep in that missile silo beneath. I would cautiously recommend a visit if its all about the slides for your kids. If you're of a nervous disposition or a stickler for things like "lifeguards" or "maintenance" you might find it a little stressful. Oh, one little tip - prices are advertised for Adults and Children but you will actually pay based on height with all but the very littlest paying full whack. Enjoy. And good luck.

Very nice aquapark although I have seen better in Istria / Croatia. Prices are reasonable and very friendly staff. What I particularly liked was the fact that you are back up at the slides in no time compared to the other aquaparks I have visited. Views from the park are stunning. And yes, I took the fastest slide as well and was a bit broozed for a couple of days 😅

There are literally 15-20 parasols area to lay down if you bring your own stuff. So we couldn’t even find a place to sit down. The whole area ( kotor- budva) is a real joke for a normal person. I can’t believe why so many Europeans rush here when there is Croatia option.

Lovely, sandy beach with really clear water, even seabed and scenic views. Bar on the right is shady and expensive:(small beer + water = 5.5 EUR), with rude service and cash payment only. Restaurant on the left plays really loud music (Bob Sinclar-ish) all the time, so not the best place with babies, but slightly older kids will enjoy the beach a lot. Some kids we saw were *ecstatic* over tiny crabs they caught with a butterfly net (took them a few hours of trying), so get your kid one in advance and enjoy your peaceful time off parenting :D

This is a quality museum. We usually visit all Maritime Museums and this is a wonderful museum with a good layout and good exhibits. Kotor and Montenegro has a maritime history to be proud. The museum is going to undergo a renovation apparently so may be different next summer. Be sure to take the audio tour because it makes the experience richer. It took us just over 2 hours with the audio tour. Lots of documentation from the early days to the World Wars. Not to be missed.

A great way to spend some time in Kotor and learn more about its seafaring past!

Definitely the best museum in Kotor and as I was leaving at midday I was glad to see it had an early opening time of 8.00am. I hadn't realised that Montenegro had such a rich Maritime history; I had previously visited the Maritime museum in Dubrovnik, but this is far better & bigger. There are a large number of exhibits and some great paintings of the old sailing ships. There is a very good "weapons room" showcasing many long barrel rifles dating back to 17th & 18th centuries and I liked the display of navigational aids; Sextants, Octants, Chronometers and Inclinometer (tilt guage).

This is a nice museum about the Maritime history of Dubrovnik. It takes you through different stages from the peak to the nadir of Dubrovnik’s navy. This museum is included in your city pass, it is quite small so maybe if you would have to pay the normal entrance fee it wouldn’t be worth your while. The whole museum it is only one room. It is also a little bit annoying that for many of the exhibits there is no English translation of their names of descriptions.

Very interesting exhibition and description how one of the strongest ship cargo companies - Jugoocean, was destroyed by UN sanctions placed because of the civil war in Jugoslavia. Also recommend visit museum of money in Cetinje to get informations about the inflation from the same period (prices doubled every 16 hours!)
