Shallow waters near the man-made sandy beach is perfect for a swim and for families with young children. I am guessing lighter sand had to be brought in because the natural sand on the island is volcanic, which is almost black. The sunbeds can be rented for around €10.50 for 2 for the whole day. There are free public toilets nearby that are kept clean and also a small bar that sells various drinks and snacks. The beach is quite a long stretch. I can imagine how busy it can get during the summer but February was perfect and quiet.
Beautiful sandy beach, extremely clean water, and the water is smooth, not too wavy. Peaceful place. Also, the public toilet is spotless.
really great beach with plenty to do around including food, drinks, desserts, shops easy access to the toilets as well and nice to swim. loungers available for hire but we did not used at the time. great for families with kids singles couples and friends. really loved it
Shallow waters near the man-made sandy beach is perfect for a swim. The sunbeds can be rented for around €10.50 for 2 for the whole day. I’ve seen plenty of people just bringing their own blanket and relaxing in the sand. There are free public toilets nearby that are kept clean and also a small bar that sells various drinks and snacks. The beach is quite a long stretch. Quiet enough in May going into the first week of June. Plenty of beds and spaces all around. Lots of restaurants too close by we brought our own food and drinks to have a beach day was perfect. No lounger needed
This beach is truly captivating – a wide stretch of fine, light-colored sand invites barefoot walks along the shore. The water is crystal clear, as transparent as glass, and usually remains calm, with gentle waves that make it perfect for swimming or simply relaxing in the sea. There’s a peaceful, almost secluded atmosphere here, ideal for anyone seeking a break from the crowds. What’s more, the facilities are maintained to a very high standard – the public restroom is spotless, which significantly adds to the comfort of the visit.
Nice beach with plenty of sunbeds and amazing sun coverage, the sea itself is nice and cool which is ideal when you’ve been lounging in the sun. Only big issue is that there isn’t many places to eat near by so ensure you have food with you!
10,50€ for 2 sunbeds with umbrella. The beaches in the south are all much better quality wise but it's the best beach in the north/middle Eastern part of the island
Lovely big beach ⛱️ good location super clean water!

Excellent shopping centre, priced very reasonable too. We loved Spar so cheap compared to the rest of the island and their ludicrous prices. SPAR ALL THE WAY. Beachfront right outside, plenty of restaurants, games, cinema (I don’t think there was any English speaking movies when we went), even a kid area out front. Really cool I like it. Close to McDonalds too . Perfect location - you can walk here no car needed. You can also cross over under a bridge to get to both sides.
It's a nice today shopping centre which has a large spa supermarket in it together with some smaller shops selling clothes, shoes, phone accessories and souvenirs etc. Also a lovely Indian restaurant and a few bars together with a games lounge which has amusement games and ten pin bowling. Worth a visit if you're in the area.
It’s a big shopping center with cafes down stairs . A big Eurostar food shopping centre. Cloths . Phones . Sports . Angles . Hair dressers . Shoes . And lots more Toilets down stairs Be aware when waiting for a taxi you could be waiting 45 mins …. 👎
A nice place to visit in Caleta de Fuste. Food Hall downstairs serving a few different varieties to cater to most tastes. Lots of parking space outside. Lots of shops to appeal to everyone. A great little supermarket with a café inside. Bus route directly outside so no need to walk far....practically dropped me off at my hotel. Taxi rank outside also. Got myself a few little bargains to take back home as sales were on.
A small but perfectly designed little shopping centre. Everything you need is here. Lots of shops, A play centre for young children and some great little cafes too!
Wheel chair accessible all floors, car park large enough. Supermarket staff are very caring. Shops are good for tourists. Hairdressers are very good. Indian restaurant always busy. Their staff speak good English. Love the place especially if it is cloudy outside.
A very clean and new looking shopping mall, 10min walk along the sea front from our hotel. The Spar was our favourite, some really good prices and a nice little cafe inside. A few local cafes at the back of the shopping mall with some very tasty food. Around the back of the shopping centre is an old castle like building with a little pool teaming with fish, take some bread and you will love feeding them and the wood pidgeons. Not every day you pass two camels on your way to the shops.
Kids liked the play park and amusement rides outside the center. Some nice shops inside too

Expert guides tell the story of Jameson in a recreated distillery scene with tastings and dining.

It was incredible experience. Our tour guide was amazing. First you get free welcome drink - you have 3 options from Jameson (Jameson with lime and ginger is amazing). Then you go to first room, it’s about history of Jameson. Second room is about how to make Jameson and on third you learn about differences, how to smell and taste different Jamesons. With this guide, it was really amazing and I could stay longer than 45 minutes.
My wife and I took this tour on a Monday morning a few hours before our flight home and had a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very animated and obviously loved his job! Great tour through history all the way to current time. Definitely recommend this tour for any whiskey aficionados or anyone with just a taste for Jameson.
I paid about $26 for the Jameson Distillery tour and it was worth every penny. They start with a really cool 3D projector story about the history and how Jameson is made, then you move into a tasting room where you try four different Jamesons and learn how to properly smell and taste whiskey. It truly feels like a world-class experience. The premium ones were noticeably smoother (whiskey by itself definitely grows hair on your chest 😂), but it was fun, informative, and delicious. After the tasting, you get a drink included — they already have a bar set up with several cocktail options, and if you want another drink afterward you can buy more. The tour guide was incredible — funny, knowledgeable, and made it feel like he actually believed every part of the history. It was so good I found myself thinking, “Do y’all hire? I could work here too.” The staff overall was extremely friendly and helpful. They’ll even hold your bags if you’re coming straight from the airport like I was. There’s merchandise at the end if you want to shop, and the whole experience is just a lot of fun from start to finish. I would 100% come back and I’d tell anyone visiting Dublin to add this to their trip.
What an unforgettable experience at the Jameson Distillery! We opted for the Secret Whiskey Package and savored every moment. The tour was a delightful blend of history, craftsmanship, and fun, with fascinating insights into the company’s founder and the art of whiskey making. The highlight? Learning the skills of whiskey tasting, followed by a truly delicious sampling experience. Despite the bustling crowd of fellow travelers, the staff made us feel so special and welcome. We loved every minute and can’t wait to return!
Had a fantastic tasting tour on my second visit to this iconic Irish distillery. The guide’s deep knowledge and entertaining presentation made the experience memorable. It’s no wonder Jameson remains one of the world’s top selling whiskeys. Highly recommended!
Exactly everything you'd expect from a distillery tour. Great tour guide, samples of the whisky, and the best ambiance. All the employees were stellar and very nice to chat with. You can also purchase exclusive bottles you can't get anywhere else in the world.
This is one of the best distillery tour I’ve ever done! I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Dublin. Our tour guide was really informative and had a great demote of knowledge about the history of Jameson’s. I’m not usually a Whiskey drinker but after trying a Jamesons, Ginger Ale and Lime in the bar I am converted.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Jamison Distillery. I went with my husband and my daughter. It was very informative and quite interesting. There were several experiences during the tour. We tasted whiskeys that we hadn't tried before. Our new favorite one is Black Barrel. We've bought a bottle now that we're back home and have shared it with a neighbor. He is now a fan! I recommend going on this tour. It's fun, educational, and it even has a cute little shop inside.

Pretty quiet beach, nice sand, you can rent sunbeds 4€ each (the price is the same for years), Eurospar is also very close. Nice for the kids.
Well sheltered. Perfect for swimming. Bars, supermarkets and toilets are at a stone trow. However it feels very artificial. Super touristy.
Love this beach, relatively quiet even during peak season. Beds and umbrellas available for €4 each per day. When tide goes out, sea becomes extremely calm and perfect for small kids. Bring a snorkel as there is an abundance of fish in the area (all harmless!).
Great set of 4 bays with real sand. Great for snorkeling round the rocks. Doesn't get too busy (September) Lovely restaurant accessible via a walkway out to sea
The sands are so hot and the water so cool. I don't believe in heaven, but if I am wrong I hope it's a beach like this. For the day you can rent out sun loungers and fixed parasols, each 4 euros and highly worth it. But there is plenty of space to stretch out and so much time to enjoy. There seems to be other beach equipment on offer, but not sure, as when I asked about them he waved me off. The listing also mentioned hammocks and balinese beds, but not sure. (balinese beds are those 4 poster beach bed things. Now that would be heaven) Perhaps the only thing missing is a nice cocktail. But I think there is a rule against alcohol on the beach. Also the toliets can be a problem. They can be sparse depending on where you pitch. We bought a parasol at one end, not realising that access to toilets can be limited. The closest being a hotel, but we were not their guests. All have keycard access, which means only their guests can use the toliet. So it's important to plan where you intent to beach by how close you are to a toliet you can use. There is nothing more desperate that a 3km walk in the beating sun, and busting. I was lucky, some guy was returning to his room, and I snuck in behind as he used his card, and use the hotels toilet. Well at least I didn't pee in the sea.!! During the mid-afternoon 1-3 the sand really heats up, even in winter, so sandals or something is a must. A hat, water and sun cream are also a good idea. Finally you can see the rock crabs, squirrels (yes, Barbary ground squirrel, Atlantoxerus getulus) and little fishes as you walk on the beach. So peaceful, tranquil and such a lovely place to spend the day. Would recommend... And would go back
Lovely clean beach. A little windy generally but breeze is nice and cooling. Plenty of sunbeds for hire and beach umbrellas. Plenty of restaurants and bars a short walk away.
Wow a beautiful beach beautiful sands and water so clear. Be careful on windy days though. Close to hotels and local shopping centre and cafe too
Nice beach that we always make sure we visit . Jellyfish took over today though as you can see in the photo i posted .We have been coming here many years and this is the first time we have encountered jellys but conditions in wind and underwater volcanic activity some way off made it right for them to swarm ..Apparently!
