Perfect station. Soft and easy for kids. Wonderful mountains and connection with italy
The ticket office is very modern and well-organized, with helpful staff ready to assist. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the positive experience. However, it’s quite a hike to the gondola, so be prepared for a bit of a walk before you start your adventure. Overall, a good experience with just a minor inconvenience.
Good city in the heart of Alpes, but the office was closed on Sunday
Resort is nice but poor choice of lift tickets. No half day ticket, no beginners ticket and end of season you get 50% of slopes for 80% of the money.
The people in the tourist office were very helpful in assisting us arrange transport. They really went beyond their responsibly. Thank you.
very modern and great asset to village, very helpful for a big family! great week of fun and everyone loved it!
We had seen Megève at the Shanghai TV, and we came because we thought it was a luxury ski village. Nothing looked like the ones we saw on TV. The shops are not luxury, neither are the hotels, the restaurants serve classic dishes. Too bad, we will never come back.

This was the most fun mountain experience ever!! The luges are modern and fun, very well built with a safe system. You can go as fast or as slow as you want, and it feels completely safe. Very fun with our children and granpa also came down!!
Some mention collisions, but the spacing between departures is actually well managed. If you're moving slowly down the track, don't be surprised if someone catches up to you. The descent is thrilling, well-marked, and the staff gives clear instructions before departure. The braking system is easy to use, even for beginners, and the sharp turns are clearly indicated. 👍 However, the seat is hard, and after each steep drop, you're thrown backward. You finish the ride with your lower back in pieces. 🥴
Great fun activity. A nice little break from the ski day.
Super fun experience. 11,90€ (per adult) will get you up to the top with a funicular and down with the toboggan. Full control of speed with some fun little drops and hard turns
A super fun Alpine coaster, a little bumpy at certain doors, but mostly smooth and nice!!
This was such a fun thing to do, we did it twice, and as non skiers a quick way to get down the mountain
A lot of fun. Running both on summer and winter
Beautiful area and very high alpine coaster

Very good place to relax, the only negative thing is that the male and female change room aren’t divided but I think that is a French habit
⚠️AVOID!!!! It is the place to relax. It has a heated pool outside (this is the coolest), it has 2 saunas. the biggest shame is the locker room. Small wardrobes, children, women, men, all in one place. You can't take a slanderous shower. In winter, you come from skiing with children with winter jackets, fleeces, blankets, you have nowhere to put them, they have no hooks, you have nowhere to change... terrible. Ladies walk around in underwear, men wash at .... it is something miserable. 5-6 dryers for 20 people.... Avoid as much as you can!!!!
Not a big swimming pool, no option to swim, not many space for aqua massage. Saunas are spacious. Weird policy about "tight swimsuit" for men.
It's a wonderful, clean and functioning pool, saunas, hot tubs etc. The adult area is worth the extra if you like saunas, but I'm not sure the extra is worth it personally. The adult outdoor pool has a much nicer view though and is warmer. It is pricey, but it's also good quality and good service. The gym is small, but practically empty and worth the €15 for the week.
Fun thermal pools with many features, but fairly small. The most annoying thing is the fact that men are not allowed to wear shorts and we had to buy swim briefs. Also, there is a single locker room so you can't really take a shower, and you have to use the enclosed tiny changing rooms. They also have a weird policy about shoes and no flip flops allowed. It was fine but not great.
Brilliant facilty to keep up the fitness on holiday, very clean with friendly, helpful staff and great views. Could improve the level of gym equipment however with a WattBike or Matrix spinner rather than the very basics
beautiful facilities, very clean. steam room and sauna are perfect to relax in and relieve aching muscles, lazy river sends you flying around the place, so fun. jacuzzi nearly made me melt, and the heated outdoor pool is an incredible experience with an amazing view. good value for money, and all the staff are so friendly. Blondine was so helpful, really made it a beautiful experience. 🤍🤍
Very average. The majority of the spa appeals to families with little children so every area was more of a play zone than a relaxing spa. The hot tub wasn’t hot, slightly warm with bubbling jets pumping in cold water. The sauna and steam room could, at minimum, include a clock so you can see how long you’re in there, especially when the instructions on the doors tell you not to exceed 15 minutes. Really it’s very average but this is what there is in the town so just manage your expectations and at least the price is fair.

Had the chance to visit the slopes Friday to Sunday and the weather was just perfect. In order to enjoy our time, we opted for a bundly of 2h-daily lessons with Davide, our instructor from ESF. We had skied just a couple times, but together we managed to face red slopes, skiing outside of the tracks and even going backwards (lol). This being said, Davide was fun and pushed us over our limit, patient in organising our start and ending of our lessons and clear aboout how to fix our technique. Will definitely try to call him back next time I am around!
3 kids and my wife did a full week of ski school. Finding the meeting point 1st day was very tricky. But after that all was okay. The ESF shuttle bus took us 3 days to find and start using. The kids teachers were all lovely. They were all so nice to them and had such a laugh. And the younger ones skiing came on loads. My wife never had a teacher that could speak English. And was told that she would have to pay an extra €45 per day if she wanted a teacher that could speak to her in English. So she didn’t get a word of understandable instruction for a week. So she got some practice in but didn’t get the change to improve much.
Two years in row had lessons with ESF, with three different instructors how are all very capable and made me confident and improved my skills a lot. In general I found all the staff to be very relaxed and helpful, going for that extra mile. Special thanks to Martin, Oliver and Thibaut. With Martin we had to work around the conditions that we got, we needed to stay on the slopes, but he really helped improving my skills in making proper turns and keeping the right posture. With Oliver I had the blast that the conditions of snow were very good. We build the confidence on easier offpistes slopes to end with a decent to Braincon, which has been a epic experience! Thibaut guided my dad (110kg) down the slopes on a tandem. My dad cannot skihimself nor did he every tried it. Thibaut explains everything very well making my that more at ease in the tandem then on a chair at home! My dad had the experience of a life time. Thanks ESF Montgenèvre, you all rock!
Did 6 sessions snowboard classes with Davide. Amazing experience here. Davide is patient and explain every technique clearly. Highly recommend.
Had a fab 2 hour lesson with Lalou. Lovely man and not only very knowledgeable but an excellent instructor. An absolute credit and a great asset to your company. Defo 10/10😀👍⛷️
Thibaut is a wonderful instructor who make our skiing experience in Montgenevre perfect. He was so kind, patient and understanding, as a very nervous skier I felt immediately calm. He tailored our lessons to ensure my two sons were happy whilst waiting for me to catch them up! Thibaut is a credit to ESF and we would love to visit again to ski with him. Thank you so much.
Had a great week of lessons with the ESF. Matthieu took the kids. They came back every day having had lots of fun and better skiers too. It hasn’t always been like this, so Matthieu clearly did a great job. Olivier looked after the adults. We had such a great few days adapted to the weather and snow conditions, doing some avalanche training, off-piste, ski-touring and a family day trip to Sestriere / Sauze Doux. Olivier was also full of knowledge of the local area which made our week all the more interesting. As in previous years both our instructors spoke excellent English and wanted us to have a fun and safe time. Thanks to Olivier, Matthieu and ESF Montgenevre.
What a great ride it has been! I took private lessons to learn to ski at ESF Montgenèvre. After having had a few bad group starting lessons a few years ago, my confidence was very low and my anxiety level very high. Monitor Olivier took me under his wings, followed my pace and needs, while still taking me to the right level and learning me the right competences at each stage. And the most important part of it: he made me love skiing. After one day, I could already hit the slopes with my family. Looking forward to come back to Montgenèvre next time and level up the skills.

Those pictures were taken the 18th of October 2020, so you will need some gadgets to help you reach the top, since there is some snow and in some parts of the track, it will be slippery. And you can see the view by yourself to judge how much beautiful it was!!
One of the most beautiful and suggestive views I have ever seen. It's relatively easy to access (3hrs hicking): once on the top, the landscape is breathtaking
Awesome place.. to much cold weather ☁️❄️❄️

(Translated by Google) Mont Chaberton is a thrill and a guaranteed climb. Leave early in the morning if you're not sleeping at the summit. Bring something to eat and drink, good shoes, sunglasses, and a hat. It can get cold sometimes. Repeat something to cover yourself. And your phone. The difficulty is real. I've been there twice; the first time I managed to reach the summit. The second time we turned back because the fog had settled in at the Col du Chaberton. I'm sharing my photos and videos with you to show you what the place looks like. Vertically yours. Have a good climb. (Translated by Google) Considering the elevation of over three thousand meters, this ascent isn't overly difficult. While the route is long, it doesn't pose any technical challenges. The views are breathtaking, and the fort at the top is a piece of history. For a leisurely hike, it's worth allocating about seven hours round trip. Parking is available on the street almost right next to the trailhead... I recommend it, because even a bus driver who spends several hours a day managed it 😀 (Original) Jak na ponad trzy tysiące metrów wysokości to podejście nie jest przesadnie trudne.
