Great experience! We are not seasoned hikers, so the 5 hrs hike was a challenge for us. It rewarded us with amazing sights, with help of our donkey Polo!

What a great time we had with Indiana and Paulo. My 5 years old son loved the experience. Indiana was very kind and shared with us the very rich history of the region. We will definitely do it again for a longer hike this time. Try it if you pass by!

What an amazing experience!! My wife and daughter and I have done a lot of hiking, but never with a pack animal. Indianna gave us a full explanation on walking and caring for our donkey, which put us right at ease during our self-guided three-day hike in late September this year. Her planned route for us showcased some beautiful and majestic sights of the southern Mercantour, and included two lovely campsites. And walking with our donkey 'Casimir' added a whole different, and rewarding dimension to hiking for us. He had a easy going demeanour and we thoroughly enjoyed travelling with him. Amazing hike to the Mount Pelat with wonderful views on the Allos Lake

Really nice piece of nature. Wonderful landscapes and stable weather for hiking up to the saddles as late as early winter. Plenty of hiking trails, besides the most popular GRs, in almost every valley. Trail marking is visible and with suitable maps, there shouldn't be any problems with orientation, especially above the tee line. Most of the mountain cabins (refuges) can be used as overnight shelter during winter, as well.

Excellent place for hiking, canyoning, climbing but also visiting traditional villages.

Beuatiful views in a gorgeous area with varied hiking, mountainbiking and climbing opportunities, all within walking distance or a short car ride away. We go every year and still haven't seen everything or gotten bored of the area yet.

Absolutely stunning views, and crazy that it's only 2 hours from Nice! Slopes here are quite difficult, so take it easy. The black slopes in the U.S. are way tamer than the black ones here 😅
