Slot machine iz ok but you are not allowed to enter the main casino in shorts which is not usual for acasino in Asummer vacation city

Lovely building, amenities, and ambiance. Would recommend to make it a stop while in Sanremo. Very close to shops and street cafes.
Sergey B — Google review
My friend got told he looked like he is 15 of age even though he is 23, then a man followed us and told us an hour after entering to tell my friend that his outfit wasn’t appropriate even though the rest of the staff seemed to be ok with it. All together a poor experience.

A classic old school Mediterranean casino. Not as big and glamorous as Monte Carlo, naturally, but very nice and quaint. Located in the middle of a wonderful town and nearby the beach.
Ed F — Google review
Great looking building. Very well lit during the night. Inviting with a red carpet and well maintained surroundings. Situated in the heart of Sanremo, it is for some the reason they go to Sanremo since it's one of the most popular casinos in the area.

Villa Nobel

Mentioned on

Museum
Specialty Museums
Villa Nobel, named after the renowned scientist Alfred Nobel, is a striking Moorish-style mansion dating back to 1870. It served as a retreat and laboratory for Nobel's scientific pursuits during the late 19th century. The villa now hosts the 'Discover the 19th Century' exhibition showcasing technological advancements of that era and Nobel's contributions across various fields. Additionally, visitors can explore rooms dedicated to Nobel's life and personality.
Great place to spend first half of a day. Opening hours 9:30-12:30. Exploring the villa takes around 1 hour. €7 per adult, €5 per kid. The villa and surrounding garden is lovely. Our kid, and us, adults, loved it.
Andrei M — Google review
Elegant and peaceful, Villa Nobel is a beautifully preserved 19th-century residence with stunning gardens and sea views. It was the final home of Alfred Nobel, and today it hosts a small museum about his life and legacy. A quiet and inspiring spot for history lovers, just a short walk from central Sanremo.
Aleksandra M — Google review
We visited Villa Nobel on a Thursday, one of the few days it's open, and walked there from Sanremo’s city center in about 15 minutes. It's a quiet, historically significant place that will mostly appeal to those already interested in Alfred Nobel. The exhibitions are primarily in Italian, but there’s a multilingual audio tour you can follow on your phone. We already knew quite a bit about Nobel, so we were able to piece things together fairly well even without translations. The villa is beautiful but could use some maintenance. Some areas were closed off, including the top floor, and one floor appeared to be used as offices. Seeing Nobel’s bed where he died felt slightly odd, but it was respectfully presented. Worth visiting if you're genuinely interested in Nobel and his legacy. We noticed quite a few other Swedish visitors, which wasn’t too surprising.
Martin Å — Google review
Our wedding at this venue was truly magical. Venetia, the event manager, was such a great help and made everything run so smoothly. The catering by Prime Quality was great, with delicious food and great service. It honestly felt like a dream come true.
Céline D — Google review
Charming villa, 2 floors and lovely terrace, overlooking the Sea. I would highly recommend to visit 😊 . The reception lady is very friendly. Cozy furniture of the house and Interesting exhibition of achievements of Alfred Nobel at the basement floor.

Porticato de La Pigna

Mentioned on
9 lists
Historical landmark
A visit to Sanremo wouldn't be complete without exploring the enchanting Porticato de La Pigna, a historic district that invites you to wander through its narrow, cobblestoned streets. Established in the 11th century and named for its pinecone-like layout, this area was fortified over the years to protect against Moorish pirate raids. The charm of La Pigna is particularly delightful during summer when its cool alleys provide a refreshing escape from the heat.
(Translated by Google) It is beautiful to cross it especially in the summer heat because it is a cool and rewarding place. It is an interesting journey in the heart of La Pigna, the historic district of the City of Flowers and the Festival 🎉🌺 You reach the Piazzetta Oratorio dei Dolori with the Oratory of San Sebastiano, built by vote of the citizens after the liberation from the plague of 1502. In the center of the square is the characteristic fountain of the Fonderia Sociale Torino. (Translated by Google) There's a part of Sanremo called "La Pigna." It's the historic center, with its hilltop houses overlooking picturesque squares. I had the opportunity to live there, in an apartment in the La Pigna neighborhood. The aromas of fusion cuisine, prepared by residents of various ethnicities, permeate the air. You'll also find artists who have decided to open their workshops in rustic spaces where blacksmiths and fishermen once lived. Everything seems magical, among the narrow streets they call "caruggi." Living there, even for a few days, is a unique experience. (Original) C'è una parte di Sanremo chiamata la pigna. È il centro storico, abitazioni arroccate affacciate a piazze caratteristiche. (Translated by Google) Wandering through the picturesque alleyways and colorful shops that enliven the village is a pleasure in any season, especially in summer. You can easily reach the Church of San Giuseppe, or, with a little patience, the Oratory of San Costanzo and the Church of the Madonna della Costa. No less fascinating is Borgo Tinasso and the mosaic discovered by chance, with its card players that seem to tell forgotten stories. There's no shortage of surprises along the way: that's the beauty of strolling slowly. Just open your eyes and ears to what's around you and follow that subtle inner feeling, which rarely deceives. Non meno interessanti sono Borgo Tinasso e il mosaico scoperto per caso, con i suoi giocatori di carte che sembrano raccontare storie dimenticate. Le sorprese non mancano lungo il cammino: questo è il bello del passeggiare senza fretta. The sanctuary, located on the Pigna hill-promontory, features ornate frescoes and statues that attract visitors. The interior boasts historic paintings, statues, and other works of art.
What a beautiful surprise!! This small church had amazing sculptures and paintings. If you are already at the top of the hill, it is certainly worth visiting.

At the top of the Pigna, this fantastic sanctuary dedicated to the Virgin is particularly important to the inhabitants of San Remo who could spot it when they were at sea. Erected to celebrate the liberation from Doria rule in 1361, the building today presents a structure that was remodeled in the Baroque period. Inside, it's the opportunity to admire a painting of the Virgin and Child by Nicolo da Voltri (15th century), considered miraculous.

Lovely place. Inside was quiet and you could stay with your own thoughts if you want to. Sanctuary is quite high and from the squere opens up nice view to the sea and port.

Russian Orthodox Church of Christ the Savior, St. Seraphim of Sarov and St. Catherine

Mentioned on
7 lists
Russian Orthodox church
Sights & Landmarks
The Russian Orthodox Church in San Remo, built in 1912, is a significant symbol of the city. It was constructed to accommodate the large Russian community that frequented San Remo during the early 20th century. The church features distinctive round domes typical of Russian architecture and is located at the beginning of Empress's Promenade, named after Tsarina Maria Alexandrovna.
Amazing architecture. A little taste of Russia and russian orthodox religion. It is a unique sight and a hidden treasure within the strongly catholic Italy. Worth to visit!
Petra S — Google review
Very nice, coloured Russian orthodox church in San Remo. But it's relativel small and beeds a bit of renovation (of paintings).
Bogdan T — Google review
The church is small but beautiful. However, I was disappointed by the entrance policy. Outside, there's a sign about paying a voluntary donation to enter, but when you actually go you're forced to pay. I think it's misleading and takes away from the welcoming spirit one would expect from a place of worship.
Catalina M — Google review
Very bright church. It is worth to visit. You can put a candle in memory of your beloved ones or just for a good reason ✨️. The Church was done with bright and light atmosphere. It's small, but cozy
Alla T — Google review
Beautiful small Slavic Orthodox church with quite a lot of important icons. Very quiet, a nice small shop and it is very tidy. Please keep this place clean - spiritually and physically!
Alex B — Google review
It was amazing visit I really like it and the decorations as well. It's one of the important landmarks in Sanremo. There are lots of international tourists and the location of this church is close to many cafes and restaurants where you could walk and enjoy.
Khalid A — Google review
Discovering this church during our day trip from Nice to Sanremo was a delightful surprise. We were accompanied by our mother, who grew up in Russia and wasn't aware of the historical significance of this place. Unfortunately, we couldn't explore inside due to a mass. Fortunately, right across the street, we found an excellent Russian food shop. The lady inside was incredibly knowledgeable and shared valuable insights about the church's history.

Giardini Regina Elena is a stunning oasis located at the top of La Pigna, offering breathtaking panoramic views of San Remo, including the city, sea, and port. Once the site of a Genoese Castle that was destroyed in an earthquake in 1887, these gardens now feature beautiful small fountains and impressive trees. It's a great spot to relax in the shade and enjoy the picturesque scenery.

A beautiful place with excellent panoramic views over San Remo
Mairbek C — Google review
Tucked away above the old quarter of La Pigna, the Giardini Regina Elena offer a peaceful green escape with a touch of history and a generous dose of Ligurian charm. While not a destination garden in the grand sense, it’s a lovely spot to pause and take in the surroundings: - 🌳 Quiet and leafy: Shaded paths, benches, and mature trees make it a pleasant place to rest after climbing through the narrow streets below. - 🌄 Panoramic views: From the garden’s edge, you get sweeping vistas over San Remo’s rooftops and the sea beyond — especially striking at sunset. - 🏛️ Historic setting: The gardens sit near old oratories and staircases that echo the medieval character of the neighborhood. - 🌸 Seasonal charm: While not always bursting with blooms, spring and summer bring out the best in its greenery and atmosphere. It’s not a showstopper, but if you’re already exploring La Pigna, the Giardini Regina Elena are a quiet reward at the top — perfect for catching your breath and soaking in the view.

Surrounding the villa, the Villa Ormond Gardens offer stunning views of the Ligurian Sea and boast diverse botanical species from around the world.
Nice park. It’s small actually. Like 15-20 minutes of walking. A bit more if you’ll stop and admire. Nice with kids and pushchair/stroller. Not too many steps. There is a playground but from 4 years old I’d say. Nice view from the top. There is a small water spot with turtles. Very funny. Also a small water spot with swans. It’s a pity as they’re closed in a small water spot. 😞
Lala R — Google review
A pretty building within the park that has a nice view of the port if you stand on your tippy toes. You cannot view inside anymore, it has been turned into office space. I wouls imagine that back in it's hey day it would have been quite spectacular. We only visited as we were in the gardens and passing through the area. I wouldn't make a special trip to visit. The flower sculpture in the forecourt was pretty and so was the fountain in the lower gardens.

Osteria del Marinaio is a warm and cozy Italian restaurant with a limited menu. It can be a bit pricey if you're unsure of what to order, but it's worth stopping by for their wide selection of fresh seafood. The restaurant has a charming sea-themed decor and offers various types of fish to choose from. Their house prosecco is highly recommended, and the mussels are particularly delicious.
A super cozy, well-decorated restaurant with amazing food, especially if you take a careful look at the menu. The tuna with pistachio crust and the grilled octopus with broccoli are quite something! Same for the cod tempura with butter orange jam!

The blue fin tuna was exquisite. Tender melting in the mouth. The octopus was perfectly cooked. Staff is lovely and genuine. Wine selection is extensive and well priced. Again and again.

The food is not bad, but quality of the food does not justify its higher price point.

The food was good but most of the price paid is due to the location, worth stopping by if not willing to explore some less touristic area and restaurants

Restaurant
Taverna Al 29 is a top restaurant in Sanremo, known for its intimate atmosphere and delicious food. It's advisable to make reservations early due to its small size. The restaurant offers great service, amazing food, and an excellent selection of wines, providing a unique and authentic Italian dining experience. Visitors praise the friendly staff, relaxed ambiance, and highly recommend it as a hidden gem in San Remo for those seeking an exceptional dining experience.
What a fantastic find this is, on the outskirts of the old town in a beautiful setting whether inside the restaurant or outside. The hosts are very welcoming and the food is amazing with a variety of freshly cooked local Italian dishes. You are not rushed and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. This is the second time we have visited and we were remembered from the year before as we are a football team from England. Will visit again with Family.
Sandro ( — Google review
Taverna Al 29 offers an excellent dining experience with amazing service and incredibly welcoming, friendly staff who truly make you feel at home. The starters and spaghetti were delicious—full of flavour and cooked to perfection. As a nice touch, they offered us limoncello at the end of the meal. While I’m not usually a fan, I have to admit it was quite good and added to the overall experience. However, I wouldn't recommend it as a place to go specifically for pizza; while they are on the menu, they're just okay compared to the other dishes. The only thing holding me back from giving 5 stars is the somewhat limited variety of dishes on the menu. Expanding their offerings would make the experience even better. Still, it's a wonderful spot for a tasty and a very enjoyable meal!

Very nice square, we ate outside and enjoyed the town. But we have not really enjoy some from the food, especially tuna and potatoes were not ideal. But the service was polite and everyone was very nice.

Saw this restaurant on trip advisor and decided to give it a try. It is off the main street in a piazza & it didn't disappoint. We were greeted at the door by the owner, who was friendly and explained the menu. The restaurant was very authentic, very clean & food was great with plenty of choice. After eating we were given a small bottle of lemoncello which was a lovely touch. Would definitely visit again.

A charming restaurant tucked away in La Pigna. We dined here for dinner and sat outside in the square. Wonderful atmosphere and good music choice. The food is delicious but the service is what makes this place our favorite. They were all so friendly and funny. Always a smile to greet us everyday when we would walk by to and from our apartment near by. It was like we were all old friends. They were attentive, relaxed, and made sure we were happy which is appreciated when you don’t always come across that in other restaurants. Thank you for the excellent service and wonderful memories for our time in Sanremo. We will be back when we return next year!

We are from USA visiting Sanremo for a day Andre the owner was disrespectful and unfriendly . He sat at his table flagging people on did not know how to greet them.. The waiters kept going to tables who were sweated after us and serving them . Waited for our food for over 1.5 hour, no one came to our table to check , appetizer salad and main course arrived at the same time , had to wait for the desert a long time as well not to mention the check , He only came to us because we decided to leave Not recommended to any one .
Nahid Z — Google review
We had lunch here while strolling around Sanremo and I have to say it was an amazing experience. The service was friendly and relaxed and the atmosphere almost out of this world - quiet piazza hidden between the old buildings, with a warm breeze and Italian classics (that everyone adores) as background music. And the food… I had tagliolini al ragù di pesce and it was like heaven on a plate. The pizzas were delicious too. The culinary experience combined with the atmosphere really became the highlight of our day. Will definitely have to come back!

We have never seen such rude service anywhere in the city. They literally threw the menu on the table. The food is tasteless and does not match the description. The products look like frozen. The place itself looks uncomfortable, plastic furniture, the square is being renovated.

Italian restaurant
If you're in Sanremo and want to enjoy some delicious Italian cuisine, Ristorante La Pignese is a great place to go. Not only are the dishes typically Mediterranean-style, but they also have some delicious locally-made wines to match. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating, so you'll feel right at home.
We had a lovely lunch here during our visit to San Remo. The servers were very attentive. They supplied very good gluten-free bread sticks for me 👍 I had an appetizer of 2 artichoke flans, one with bagna cauda sauce and one with castelmagno cheese sauce. The artichokes were fresh and very tasty. The bagna cauda could have used more anchovies. My husband had the pacheri pasta, and we both had the stockfish and polenta main course, which was delicious. A larger portion would have been appreciated 😋😅 The dessert cart was filled with beautiful choices, but we are still trying to lose some holiday weight, so we reluctantly passed 😅

Rather expensive but excellent service and nice food .. my first Tiramisu Sabayone.. my wife didn’t like the fish in oil or sauce so they did it with a salt crust.. delicious.. in case you want the freshest catch of the day we recommend you to go early in the morning to the local fish market..

What a great place! Food-unbelievable quality and taste! Service-impeccable! For this quality, price is very reasonable! They make a lot of dishes that are very interesting and not standard. I wanted to make a picture of the dishes but we ate them so quickly, I didn’t get a chance)))) Recommend to all, especially try their fish appetizer and ravioli with shrimp and curry sauce. Desert tray is a dream!)))) Oh and warm wet napkins at the end-nice touch! Thank you for the amazing experience! 🙏🏼

Ristorante Pizzeria Club 64, located in the center of SanRemo near a casino, is a delightful restaurant that offers unique half-half pizza options. The pizzas are cooked in a wood-fire oven, giving them a smoky undertone and enhancing their flavors. In addition to pizza, this establishment also serves fresh seafood dishes. The restaurant has friendly and attentive staff who provide efficient service.
possibly one of the most amazing pizza in town. the staff is really giving you the attention you’ll need. this restaurant pizzeria is a must try. definitely try out the ‘maiala’!! they have alcohol-free beer. inside there is no internet but i guess it’s better?? 10/10

If you tell anyone in Sanremo that you are going to Pizzeria Club 64 for dinner, they will all comment on how this is a good choice. After many years with my Italian wife of eating at different restaurants for pizza in Sanremo, this one is absolutely the best. The pizza is a perfect work of art. If you like, there are a few other great non-pizza dishes on the menu, but I would recommend coming here for pizza. Pick one randomly, although the four seasons pizza has always been my wife's favorite. I included a picture for you. For my fellow Americans, please note that the best pizza is baked in a very hot oven that adds some char to the crust. In the USA, most pizza shops under cook pizza. Please try this pizza and the charred bits. You will go back to America asking for your pizza to be well-done with some char. Just get reservations on Friday and Saturday evening, but if you're early on weeknights, you can get a table walk-in.

After 8 years we returned to San Remo and Club 64. We were curious whether they maintained the level. We were 4 people for 2 dinners and it was great. My sons are pizza fans and for 8 years they said that the one from Club 64 was the best. Now they just confirmed it. Very good dough, great sauce and fresh toppings. Food worth recommending.

My wife and I had walked by the restaurant earlier in the day and from the other side of the street, It only looked like a small take out pizza restaurant. Later in the evening, while looking for a restaurant to dine close to our Airbnb, we walked by and noticed through the window that there was actually a dining room as well below the level of the sidewalk. While the restaurant is a little tight, we were seated immediately and ended up enjoying a couple really nice pizzas as well as a salad and grilled vegetables. We recommend them for their pizza for sure!

Really great Pizza! At the beginning we did not think that we can eat inside but sfter the counter there are many tables where you can eat. The waiters are very friendly and do not mind if you do not speak Italian. The Pizzas tasted really great and we did not wait long until they were served. And that Chili-oil they have there is incredible. Overall a really nice place to eat!

Amazing pizza, and superb service. Have been coming here for 15 years, and quite possibly the best pizza anywhere in the world 👌
Iwan E — Google review
Got sick from the food Very nice people, the waiter was super generous with his time, efforts and suggestions and was very knowledgeable about all the dishes. We had delicious wine and the meal was fairly good. The only problem, and I noticed it right away was that my dish was super greasy - more than it should have been in my opinion, especially for an authentic meal in Italy. They should know better than that. The long and the short of it was that I ended up getting sick fairly quickly after I ate less than half the plate, and was regretting having eaten any of it. I wish I could recommend the place, but unfortunately based on this experience I really can't. My friend said his meal was average or just below, and while the staff was great and the ambiance was super low key - also very short walk from our hotel (Hotel Sole Mare), it was a very average place. I would say there are probably better places to visit in Sanremo than this. The prices were also higher than one would expect at such a chill place such as this.

Italian restaurant
Pizza Power, located slightly away from the touristy area of San Remo, offers a seasonal pizza with ricotta, sausage, and friarielli that is worth trying. This restaurant bakes their pizzas in a wood-fired oven, resulting in a subtly smoky flavor in each bite. With around 40 different types of pizza to choose from, it may be challenging to find the perfect one; however, they offer menus in various languages and serve draft beer for an ideal pairing.
Love this place! My friends had their regular pizzas and are fully in love, while me - a vegan - was treated really nice (even though I asked for something out of menu) and was able to order a cheese-less pizza with my choice of toppings. The staff was really warm and funny, and the atmosphere was just great. Thank you!

Really delicious Pizza! Ist was luck, that we found this small restaurant. They deliver in Sanremo and have a small room to eat there. The Pizza was really good. A choice of around 40 diffrent types of pizza makes it hard to get the right one, but I‘m sure, you can‘t make a mistake. They have menus in diffrent languages. And draft beer. A perfect combination, in my opinion. And additional: very friendly service! I‘m sure, I‘ll come back!

Next I had the burger with onion and egg with bacon and rosemary cover potatoes and my better half had cheese burger with chips also know as curly fries to the Irish.. all I can say is wowowow it was mouth watering tasty, beyond amazing - heavenly - never ever tasted such a good burger.. it was so good we had to it is slowly because the taste just danced in your mouth- then came the cheese cake…. Holy heaven.. it was amazing. If your in Sanremo and starving you need to go here. I have tried 8 restaurants in Sanremo and this one nailed it.. top job lads. Probably the best burger in town. We came here twice and tried their burgers and ribs. Absolutely delicious, tasty, fresh. The staff is kind and responsive, they speak English. The restaurant is located in the old town of Sanremo. While dining on the street you can experience the Italian vibes and atmosphere. All recommendations... We were delighted with the potatoes and we got an extra bucket of potatoes.

Best burger I ever had! I was a bit sceptical when decided to try this place, but it did not disappoint. The meat they use for the patties, fassona piemontese la granda,is the best minced beef I ever tasted. The burger had a rich nutty taste, juicy and creamy at the same time. A must if you crave a burger while in Sanremo.

Both waiters speaking English, very kind young guys, excellent burgers with vegetarian option and you can replace all burgers with Beyond Burger for vegan options. Nice portion of fresh fries or chips. Free sauce options. Try the spicy one too (we had ketchup and mustard on top) Oct 24.21 Our 3rd time there. The guys are super friendly and joyful. Food amazing. Very accommodating for vegan options. Oct 15.22 new address. Arrived 1450 and waiter said that they are closed. So 1530 posted is wrong. Consider 1500 this place as closed. Waiter not interested to assist rather just say we are closed. Tried to get here about 5 times since address changed but it think won't bother again no matter how we liked the burgers.

I was sitting facing the kitchen doors and it was a pleasure to watch the team work in perfect synchrony. The food was amazing, perfectly fresh seafood and high quality ingredients. We walked by this restaurant looking for a nice place for lunch, we were very happy here. The restaurant offered a beautiful outside table set up or a beautiful inside area for seating. We chose to sit inside and the tables were big, with comfortable seats, linen tablecloths and gorgeous hanging orchids. The wine list was absolutely huge with very knowledgeable staff. The menu offered great pastas and many fresh seafood options, it was very hard to choose because it all looked amazing. Our waiter was very helpful in accommodating my many food allergies as well as my daughter’s vegan needs. The menu was available in 4 languages, and the staff spoke to us in English which was a helpful surprise. The bathrooms were absolutely beautiful and spotless despite a very busy dining room. The entire restaurant was beautiful. We loved the food, the best of our weeklong stay in France/Italy. I would definitely go here again and would recommend it to friends.

Fantastic restaurant. The menu has many different offers at different prices depending on how many courses you order. I picked a first & second course, glass of wine, water, and coffee for €24,00. For this price, the quality of food was exceptional, I loved trying the typical food from Liguria such as the octopus and potato soup. For a Tuesday night, the restaurant was very busy, but the staff did a good job and gave adequete service. I'd recommend booking in advance, you must try this restaurant if you are in Sanremo!

Taste authentic meals at reasonable price! We found this restaurant by chance while walking. During the lunch time, it was really busy, no tables available, but after waiting for 20 min we got our table. So I advise to book in advance, even for lunch. We ordered the lunch menu. 16 euros for: water, the 1st dish( primo potato), a glass of wine, dessert and a coffee. I ordered pasta with olive pesto. Very delicious. Another menu of 20 euros consists of the 2 dish ( secondo), water, glass of wine, dessert and a coffee. Tuna was delicious. All the desserts are really good. !!! We were not charged coperto! We will be back! I advise this place!

So far the best pizza in my life! The dough is incredibly good, the service is super nice, everyone is very cheerful and helpful. We came at 18:45 and were one of the first ones. The staff was very attentive, nice and charming. They were making sure that everyhing was perfect. Everybody worked quickly and efficient and the food came very quickly The food: in the picture you can see a real Napoli style pizza with a twist - half of it is folded with different ingredients beneath it. It was very good and well made, I just wished the dough had more salt in it. It is like with pasta - if you don't salt your pastawater, you cannot put salt on top and say "it's the same". But maybe that's just my taste. :) Very many different pizza styles, which I loved. The AC inside was on, but if you put it on 25° it will not do anything, so better to have it a little cooler. Otherwise, perfect experience!

Nice Côte d'Azur Airport

International airport
Airport
Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is a convenient hub for travelers exploring the French Riviera, Alpes-Maritimes, and Monaco. It offers helicopter links to Monaco, making it easy to hop along the coast between Cannes and Ventimiglia via Antibes, Nice, Monaco, and Menton. The airport's proximity to stunning beaches and its accessibility to neighboring countries make it an ideal starting point for sun-worshippers and backpackers alike.
I’m reviewing here terminal2 departure and duty free. I think it’s a very good, quite and organized airport in comparison to lot of small airports. The duty free is over priced but it has a good variety of food and products. The staff at the security are very polite but unlike many airports in Europe, they still have issues with water bottles a d liquids on flights. Seats are comfortable and toilets are everywhere with a place to fill the water.
Phanendra D — Google review
The airport is rather small and there sent many shops the security check in wasn’t too manic but the staff would make you remove your liquids at the conveyor belt rather than warning you before hand to have them ready in the clear bag so I was slightly confused and overwhelmed by the whole experience. The best convenience is that the metro is just outside and quite cheap and easy to navigate !!

🌞 Exploring the Best of Nice, Côte d’Azur 🇫🇷 What an incredible stop along the French Riviera! From the sun-drenched Promenade des Anglais to the vibrant old town and stunning sea views, Nice is a must-see. We walked nearly 23,000 steps discovering every corner—day and night—and the energy, beauty, and charm never let up. ✨ If you're thinking about the Côte d’Azur, Nice should be at the top of your list. Great food, gorgeous views, and a perfect mix of beach life and city vibe. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend

Goid public transport to the airport. T2 was crowded and disorganised. Allow time to find where you are going and at check-in. Once you are through security its a little calmer before you get to gate. Queues to board are long and slow and once again crowded. Airport appeared clean.

Nice, France, is a fantastic destination with a lot to offer. If I were to say something good about it, I'd highlight several key aspects: First and foremost, its stunning natural beauty and prime location on the French Riviera are undeniable. The deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea contrasting with the colorful buildings and the gentle curve of the Baie des Anges is truly picturesque. The famous Promenade des Anglais is perfect for a stroll, run, or bike ride, offering constant sea views. Its proximity to other gems of the Riviera like Cannes, Monaco, and charming hilltop villages makes it an excellent base for exploring the region. Secondly, Nice boasts a unique blend of French and Italian influences, which you can see in its architecture, cuisine, and even the local dialect. This gives the city a distinct character that sets it apart from other French cities. The Old Town (Vieux Nice) is a particular highlight, with its narrow, winding streets, vibrant markets (like Cours Saleya), and lively atmosphere. It's a joy to get lost in its alleys, discovering hidden squares and local shops. Then there's the incredible climate. With abundant sunshine and mild temperatures for most of the year, it's a pleasant place to visit almost any time. This allows for a relaxed, outdoor-oriented lifestyle, whether it's dining al fresco, enjoying the beaches, or simply people-watching from a café terrace. Finally, Nice offers a rich cultural experience. It has a number of excellent museums, including those dedicated to Matisse and Chagall, reflecting its history as a magnet for artists. The food scene is also fantastic, with delicious Niçoise specialties like socca, salade niçoise, and fresh seafood, all best enjoyed with a glass of local Provençal wine. In short, Nice is a captivating city that combines natural beauty, a vibrant culture, delicious food, and a relaxed Mediterranean charm, making it a truly wonderful place to experience. Nice, France, often nicknamed "Nice la Belle" (Nice the Beautiful), is truly a jewel of the French Riviera, and there's so much to say about it! Here are some key aspects that make it a fantastic destination: * Stunning Natural Beauty: The city is incredibly picturesque, with the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea stretching out before you, framed by the iconic Promenade des Anglais. The light here is often magical, inspiring artists for centuries. You can also get incredible panoramic views from Colline du Château (Castle Hill). * Charming Old Town (Vieux Nice): This is the heart and soul of Nice. A maze of narrow, winding cobblestone streets, vibrant with colorful buildings, bustling markets (like Cours Saleya), charming cafes, and hidden squares. It's a joy to get lost in and discover its unique character. * Rich Culture and History: Nice has a fascinating past, influenced by both France and Italy. You can see this in its architecture, from elegant Belle Époque buildings to Baroque churches. The city boasts excellent museums, including those dedicated to famous artists like Matisse and Chagall, who were drawn to the region's light and beauty. It's also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique history as a "Winter Resort Town of the Riviera." * Exceptional Climate: Nice enjoys a mild, sunny Mediterranean climate for most of the year, making it an attractive destination even in the cooler months. This allows for plenty of outdoor activities and a relaxed, al fresco lifestyle. * Delicious Gastronomy: The food scene in Nice is a delightful blend of Provençal and Italian influences. You absolutely must try local specialties like socca (a chickpea pancake), salade niçoise, and fresh seafood. The markets are a feast for the senses, offering fresh produce and local delicacies. * Vibrant Atmosphere: Nice is a lively city with a cosmopolitan feel, yet it maintains a relaxed, holiday vibe. There's always something happening, whether it's people enjoying a leisurely meal, strolling along the promenade, or enjoying the vibrant nightlife. * Gateway to the French Riviera: Its prime location.
