We had a lovely wine from Christian Fischer in Salzburg on New Year's Eve 2023. A wonderful, dark red wine with leather and cherry notes that had aged very well by the time we tried it, demonstrating the competence of the winemaker and vineyard. I decided to buy a case of the same wine from the vineyard directly and I was not disappointed - the case was hand-delivered to my door by an exceptionally friendly manager called Arsen who was very knowledgable about the wine that his vineyard produces. The customer service felt personalized and tailored to my tastes, and I have been very pleased with my purchases. I would definitely buy more from Weingut Christian Fischer in the future.

Riesling - Good; this wine presents an interesting blend of acidity and the unique note of bruised apple, alongside its fresh, crisp qualities and low alcohol content. A refreshing choice for those who appreciate nuanced acidity. Rotgipfler 2.0 - Excellent; characterized by its oily texture and strong presence, with quince notes that make a bold statement for the region. This wine is truly distinctive and showcases the uniqueness of its terroir. Chardonnay Lindenberg (sweet) - Excellent; a delightful wine perfect for concluding a meal. Its sweetness and balanced profile make it a memorable finish. Cuvee4You - Excellent; featuring sour cherry and oak, this cuvée impresses with its complexity and depth. A sophisticated choice designed to leave an impression. Pinot Noir - Excellent; with its clean profile and dark fruit notes, this wine is both elegant and inviting.
