Impressive, Old lighthouse with full equipment exposed inside. Free of charge, you can easily go inside to see how the lightsman operated in the past. Very beautiful view from the galery upstairs. I recomend this place to be visited while stay in Hamerhavn.

We came here for the sunset and it was just stunning. It had a nice open view over the sea. We had to park the car and walk up. It took us about 10-15min to walk from the parking till the light tower. Note that the house with the tower is a living quaters, so it's private property (it's also mentioned with a little sign), but just walk a bit further and you reach the shores for a stunning sunset.

On the northern tip of Bornholm you can find Hammerodde lighthouse. It is possible to walk there as well as taking the car to the top. The lighthouse is quite small but well worth a visit, especially when viability is good. On those occasions the Swedish south coast can easily be seen as well as a good view of Hammershus.

Lighthouse is not open to the public and apart from a couple of picnic benches, there are no facilities. It's all about the location and the beautiful coastal scenery. Take a walk out of Sandvik, head to Saloman Kapel and around the headland and past the lighthouse. You won't be disappointed.
