Amazing views from the waterfall. Unique nature. Very calm place. When i was there it was very cloudy day and half of the time of the trip i didnt realize where i am.
It's about a 30-minute walk from the parking area of the charming town of Rupit. The trail is easy and beautiful—like something out of a fairy tale. When you reach the waterfall, the scenery is truly spectacular. Don’t miss it!
The small walk is definitely worth it! It's 30 min from the parking lot (for the parking you pay for the amount of hours you spent there) and it's quite easy, no need for any special shoes, although sneakers are better than sandals. Not too many people. The views are spectacular, I did not expect it to be as breathtaking. There are some other routes you can take. We also met a very nice park ranger keeping eye on everything going on:)
We visited this place on the 19.08.23 starting in a quaint little town called Rupit. We just parked there and walked to the waterfall area which is about a 40 min walk one way. I did it flip flops which was no problem for me, but a pair of runners would be the smarter thing to take. You are mostly walking on normal paved roads and towards the end, it's a little more off-track. The scenery is beautiful but due to the dry weather there was no water which was very disappointing. I would still recommend it all the same. After we got back, we crossed a lovely little hanging bridge that brings you over to Rupit where there are numerous little restaurants. We didn't eat anything... just had a quick look around.
We went at a time when the waterfall wasn’t fully flowing, but the view was still incredible. We were there about 3 hours before sunset and it was truly beautiful.
This was a gorgeous hike. Parking in the town is limited. There are lots of people on thr trail. Water levels were low when we were there, but the views were still gorgeous. No restrooms, lots or dogs on trail. The village of Rupit was gorgeous.
Beautiful waterfall. I love that you can go directly to the waterfall and see how it is falling down. Amazing experience!
The hiking here is beautiful. Great opportunity to catch some fresh air. Not too many visitors, so little need for masks. The town of Rupit was very beautiful also. Try to go after the rains to watch the waterfall come to life.

This small town has something truly mystical about it. It feels beautiful here all year round, with a special atmosphere that’s hard to describe. Maybe it’s the town’s history, but there’s definitely something unique in its energy and vibes. We loved the local shops and the high-quality, delicious products they offer. The food in the small restaurants was also excellent. People were kind, and everyone we met spoke English. It’s still Catalonia, but unlike the Costa Brava, this place has a warm and genuine charm that feels deeply local and sincere.
Beautiful little town, but was very crowded when we went. The little gift shops were beautiful and unique, they even have some that's made exactly there by the artist I can't recall the name. The town is very unique though if you're in the area. The bakery by the parking lot has nice baked goods but thought it was a little pricey. Overall would recommend
A gorgeous medieval town. So picturesque. Peaceful and beautiful. I highly recommend visiting this place, especially if on a road trip. There’s a large parking lot and the fee is inexpensive.
Fairytale town Stone houses with flowerpots on every balcony, church bell, narrow streets and local cafes, sunset between the houses Worth your attention and visit
A unique, cozy, and welcoming town built on volcanic lava. You'll hear many different stories about this place, especially about witches who fled the Inquisition to this town, and that almost every second house had a witch in it. And that even now you can feel a strange energy here. Personally, I felt nothing but peace and tranquility. There's a shop in town where you can buy delicious bread, cheeses, and wine. You'll also find a souvenir shop and several restaurants where you can sample authentic Catalan cuisine.
Great historical village - strongly recommend for visiting
A beautiful medieval town, with easy to walk narrow stoney streets, a nice little river and green woods that surround the town. There is a decent amount of places to eat, with style, food and price variety. Definitely recommend to do a day visit!
Gorgeous small little quaint town with narrow streets and cobbles with lots of lovely little shops,. The buildings and houses are fabulous and unique. A rope bridge connects both side of this love little place with a river that runs between both sides of the village. It's very much a tourist attraction and you have to pay to park in the carpark before entering on foot. Well worth visiting

(Translated by Google) It is very beautiful and old, the entrance costs €2 but you let yourself go through all the corners and go up to the campaign. The most spectacular thing is the climb to the roof of the bell tower because the stairs are so narrow that a person over 100kf cannot fit up there and clausophobic but it was worth it because it is an interesting experience and the views from the roof to take photos are spectacular.

Of Romanesque origin, the church has been expanded and renovated over the centuries, adopting baroque elements in its current structure. It stands out for its octagonal bell tower and its location in the upper part of the town, offering panoramic views. Inside, it houses a baroque-style main altar and various religious images. It is a symbol of the historical and cultural heritage of Rupit. (Translated by Google) The church is very small but well maintained, as is the bell tower. However, I find it unfortunate that they force you to pay €2 to enter outside of mass hours, saying that they charge admission and that they have a single rate of €2 that includes going up to the bell tower. It's not because of the price, it's because of the fact that if you want to enter the church to pray outside of mass hours, you have to pay admission. ABUSE. ABUSIU.

(Translated by Google) Very good attention from the tour guide at the office, everything was very well explained, there is excellent organization in the town (at least that was what we experienced during our visit). We did the medium route where you can see the salt de sallent and the church of San Joan de Fabregues. The town is a beauty, it is worth visiting the 16 points on the map. Of course, for the walk take some sandwiches or sausages that you can buy in town, because you will find beautiful places to sit and contemplate for a while. Ah... another important thing is that you can get there by bus that leaves from Vic and it is quite good, although there are only two a day, but it is good for planning a weekend.
(Translated by Google) Terrible attention and poor information. The map costs 30 cents, and if she explains it to you, she'll send you down difficult paths, no matter who you are. I sent a family with an elderly woman using a cane to the Salt de Sallent trail, which is a rocky path that's even somewhat dangerous since they don't inform you about its condition. We had to inform that family that the trail was impassable for the elderly, as it even cost us a fortune. We found another, more accessible route back thanks to a rural agent at Salt de Sallent. When we returned, we politely pointed this out to the woman at the tourist office, and her response was very despotic, saying that's just how it is. It's shameful that people like that, without empathy or enthusiasm, are unbelievable that they're dealing with the public. They should give them intensive courses in empathy and socialization, since they can cause harm or accidents by guiding people in this way who don't know what they're up against. And don't avoid the many options available to enjoy this wonderful environment without risks to public health, since there are many options before going into battle as this unpleasant girl tells you. (Original) Atncien pesima y mala informacion.

Where we discovered a lot of interesting facts about the etymological origins of Rupit and Pruit, and their history more rooted in popular culture. In short, it was a well-rounded day, perfect for spending a day with the family while visiting a village that is relatively close to us while the history and origin of the village was explained to us. They hid it for us in the forest where the zip lines are, and after finding them, we went to see the models. Highly recommended for the little ones. Muy recomendable para hacer con los peques
