Nice waterfalls, Munduk waterfalls don’t really have much space to bathe in them. If you continue down the path you’ll find other ones which I think were prettier, but they’ll still ask you for money: 45.000 for Munduk and 20.000 for each waterfall after that + 5.000 parking.
After driving for about two hours with lots of rain we arrived at this great waterfall. Only went to see the one, though there is a second one nearby as well, which you can visit on the same ticket (ticket fee: 45k foreigner - 15k local). The path from the bike parking down to the falls is idyllic and well maintained. It can be slippery though so wear proper footwear and just take care. Down at the main fall there’s a nice garden with all kinds of colourful plants. It wasn’t the time to take a swim for us, but down near the waterfall there are some pools. Worth the 2 hour drive from the south? For sure, if not just for the waterfall, there are some great scenic vistas to stop and admire the natural Balinese beauty.
One of few start point to the 4 Munduk Waterfalls. Just look across the road down slope, you should see a parking space round the bend, beside the parking is the trek start point. Was told there's another start point from within Bali Jegeg hotel.
Munduk waterfall was relaxing and peaceful. I arrived before noon and had it all to myself. The air is cooler l, so I didn't get into the pool but the mist and the sound of the fall was all I needed. It's not too steep to reach maybe 100 steps, with places you'll stop and take photos. I'd recommend it to all. Only a 20k entry fee.
It's a beautiful waterfall. Clean area and has very fresh air. There a local people selling coffee beans, saffron, and many more (local products) on the way to the waterfall.
A very short hike from the parking lot (search for it not this one) you will pass by a few local shops and eateries until you reach the entrance and pay 20,000 IDR for entry. Roughly 100m away is this beautiful, powerful and elegant waterfall that you should get up close to truly appreciate. Disregard the naysayers and see it for yourself, you will not regret it. And i must say that the evening scooter ride here was beautiful with picturesque views left and right while driving through clouds. Amazing experience!
A very short walk from the parking lot and you will see the entrance to the site. There is a small fee for entering the site. On top there is a bar and restaurant overlooking the waterfall. Very peaceful and beautiful.
Fantastic! Beautiful waterfall, surrounded by the jungle, not crowded, different spots to take the perfect picture, definitely worth a visit

Amazing waterfall, Munduk waterfall trails are great and still not overcrowded with tourists which makes going to see the waterfalls very delightful. To get to the Melanting waterfall, you need t9 go down quite a few big steps so may be unsuitable for young children. We went in the rain so it was quite slippery. It was incredible and only 20k entry!
Nice waterfall to see! Stairs could have been in a better state, but definitely worthwhile the stop if you are following the 'three waterfall path'
A beautiful waterfall that is an absolute must-see – uncrowded and one of the few that has so far been spared from tourist infrastructure that would otherwise disrupt the natural beauty of the surroundings.
This waterfall holds a special place in my heart. It is the best waterfall i have seen in my life. It reached for my soul and entrapped me in its beauty. Worth the hike.
346 steps down from Warung Lembah Melanting, this is the most tiring to reach, among the four Munduk Waterfalls. If you have knee issues but still can do steps, this waterfall is still doable. Just take it slow and easy at your own pace. For bad knees, you might want to reconsider though. Upon reaching the fall, all your pain will be forgotten.
There are two entries to the waterfalls; one from the top to climb down 380+ uneven hight steps (bound to be slippery if raining). Then, you must climb up those steps to return to your vehicule. That was very tiring for a 76 yo. The second entrance is down, near the falls - no steps - have known :-)). Overall, the trip is worth the entrance fee; rp 20k.
Very beautiful waterfall with luxurious nature. We went in the begining of September around 10:00 am and it was not crowded at all. However, there are a lot of stairs and it’s quite physical to climb the stairs.
When you visit Munduk, it is a must to visit its beautiful waterfalls. You can ask at your accommodation, how to reach these waterfalls and which trek to follow. We visited this place in 2019 and it was actually quite a straightforward trail (no weird turns) and there were not too many people. The photos really don't do it justice. The nature is so beautiful and there are several waterfalls each with their own personality. There are some warungs along the way and also some gardens where you can see cloves, cacao, coffee and papaya grow. Munduk is great!

Ely started by explaining us how to make a daily offering. We did one with her help all the way to the prayer. It was very nice to be part of this daily life in Bali. The we cooked 4 dishes together and 1 dessert. It was very interesting to see that we can reproduce everything at home, we just need to shop first some ingredients in an Asian supermarket. The taste was absolutely delicious, very flavour it but not spicy at all. Just perfect for us! Ely was very nice, she was with her friend to help up, always showing us the right technique of smashing and cutting and cooking. She speaks English and French. She taught us about the day-to-day and special meals in Bali. She was very sweet. Tip: bring a lamplight with you, the road back is pitch black.
Thank you for a lovely time, much fun and very interesting insights in Balinese culture and cooking. It was a unique experience for us and we will remember this evening for a Long time. And we will Cook the recipes at Home for sure! Absolute recommendation!
A fantastic cooking class! 🌿 Everything was well organized, we prepared authentic local dishes and enjoyed eating them afterwards. It was a great way to experience Balinese traditions and flavors. Highly recommended!
My husband and I had an incredible time with Rico and Ely while visiting Munduk during our honeymoon. They were the kindest family. In total we spent 2 days with Rico and then one evening cooking with Ely and others. We felt like family and highly recommended them to others.
We had an amazing time here with Ely & Ayu, learning and cooking up some amazing balinese food. They were so friendly and welcoming. we enjoyed every minute of it. Don't miss out on this experience if you have 2 or 3 hours to spare. :) John
The cooking class was amazing and the food delicious! We did a soup and many dishes to go with rice and a special dessert that was incredible! I definitely recommend if you want to learn how to make real Balinese food.
Ely and Ayu were very warm and welcoming hosts! The class consists of several signature Balinese dishes. They're easy to make, which makes them great to try again at home. This class is a great way to introduce yourself to the local cuisine, a definite recommend!
We will never forget the morning we spent with Rico and his family! We learned a lot about local plants with medicinal properties and the Balinese culture in general. On top of that, we were able to try different honeys they produce and to eat some delicious homemade cake! I can only recommend this amazing experience. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts!

Magical morning from Tamblingan. Perfect place to camp beside the lake. Be responsible to bring your trash out after you camp. There are toilets available. The tickets are cheap as well.
Yet another beautiful lake in Bali which unfortunately ruined by lack of maintenance and lack of care from its visitors. If you can ignore all the trash lying around this place is perfect to spend time in quiet.
My favorite camping spot. Besides the cool, fresh air, the grass is soft and not rocky. Camping here costs 10,000 Rupiah per person. Firewood and portable cooking gas can be purchased through the help of a man who works here. Several stray dogs guarded us while camping here, and of course, I fed them the special dog food I brought. There are two toilets available, and the cleanliness is quite good by local standards.
Overall, the place it self was beautiful. What make it less, because the trash left by visitors and the limited trashbin available around. It already have toilet, but only 1 side is opened, so sometimes (specially in the morning) you need to wait in a queue. With every visitor is required to pay entry fee, actually the management should manage it well (moreover for the cleanliness of the surounding). And please, make a regulation for people to not set their music on loudspeaker or shouting in the midnight, while others are sleeping. It was so disturbing.
Tamblingan Lake located at tabanan regency its takes around 2 hours from Ngurah Rai Airport . open every days for 24 hours. Tamblingan is a suitable place to set up a tent and family recreation. The combination of fresh lakes and trees that adorn this place makes this place special. In this place you can see 3 temples including Ulun Danu Tamblingan Temple, Pande Tamblingan Temple and Dalem Tablingan Temple. You can also see several species of flowers and also small animals such as squirrels, birds and fish. in the afternoon i suggest you to go fishing around the lake and set up the tent. it will be great if you bring marshmellow and burn it on the fire wood with slow music and guitars at night. in the morning i recomend you to taking photos at Dalem tamblingan temple because of the view are lake, and sun rise. Around the camping place several shops provide your camping needs such as firewood, instant noodles and others if you want to relieve yourself at several points a toilet and shower are provided. for entrance tickets around 10k / person for domestic tourists
Easy access through Camp Tamblingan with car or motorbike. Unfortunately not very taken care of in the camp area. Some trash and burned grass. Recommend a hike around the lake. You can also go into the jungle/forest and see some incredible ancient trees. Fishermen on the lake make for a calm scenery. Almost no tourists when I went here on the weekend. Even though it can be chilly and cold, make sure to wear sunblock to avoid sunburn.
Easy access with car or motorcycle. Just follow the direction from your google map or waze and it will lead you directly to the location. Don't try finding it without your phone's GPS as you'll be lost the the fogs and be eaten by monsters. Parking is just next to the temple. If it rains the day after, just park next to the road as the usual parking space in the field will usually be full of mud. Nobody will usually be around except for another photographer/s with the same plan as you are.
Great place to camp with a beautiful view of the lake. If you don't bring camping equipment, there are also those who rent it

Must visit a peaceful temple. Unfortunately, only locals allowed to see dirty, visitors are allowed around temple which has great views. Add it to your Bali - Ubud list.
Entry costs 75,000 IRD per person. A temple with beautiful landscaping along a lake. It's suitable for children and has plenty of parks. There's a small lake within the temple. You can feed the fish by paying 20,000 IRD and buying bait before entering.
●Ulandanu Temple, located near the iconic Handara Gate in Bali, Indonesia, is a serene and spiritual haven for the Hindu Balinese community. ●The temple is not only beautifully maintained, with its neat and clean surroundings, but it also offers a glimpse into the rich cultural and religious activities of the locals. ●Visitors can witness traditional ceremonies and rituals, making it a vibrant and insightful experience. ●The picturesque setting of Ulandanu Temple, with its stunning architecture and tranquil ambiance, makes it a must-visit destination for those seeking a deeper connection with Bali's spiritual heritage.
A wonderful secluded place. There are almost no tourists here. Fishermen sit on the shore of the lake.
February 2022: Entrance fee 75 000, moto parking fee 3000. One of the nicest places in Bali. It was pretty busy by indonesiam tourists but so peaceful at the same time. No annoying pushy sellers. So refreshing. There are some restaurants and stores if you want to get a drink/food. Also loads of greenery where you can do a little picnic. Big and calm place. Beautiful mountain views. Visiting bathroom costs another 2000. If you come from the south dont forget some warmer clothes, it's quite chilly up there.
One of the best Hindu temple complex at lake side gives you a pleasant feeling. A very good garden maintained and scenic background of lake generally a cloudy weather as it is at height from mean sea level a top of hill giving always a hill station climate the temples are slightly in different style than other Balli temples gives us a lovely landscape
A photogenic temple is floating on the lake. One of the best tourist spots in Bali. The trip could be combined between Singaraja and this temple where both of them should you visit during a holiday in Bali 👍👍👍
This is a quiet temple located beside lake Buyan. Must more quiet & less tourists than Beratan Temple. View was very good beside the lake & it is a small temple. Worth a visit if you are on your way from Beratan Temple to Munduk or vice versa. There is no entrance fee required though.

stayed here July 2024 🌞 they were so kind. they helped us with organizing a motorcycle to go around town. beautiful sunsets & really delicious food. the employees really care to make you feel welcomed. we extended our stay after we originally planned for 2 nights…it was very relaxing & there was a fireplace!
Spent a day here. It was a very good deal and would love to visit and recommend this place to others. Room is spacious. Breakfast was good. Hot water is working perfectly in the cold weather. The fireplace is something romantic. And everyone is very friendly and helpful. 🤎
Everything delicious! Good quality food. I have got 3 course menu for about 12€. A little pricy for Bali, but was worth! :)
Wow 🤩 wow 🤩 wow 🤩 the vegan dishes were amazing (Buddha bowl and the coconut soup) and the dragon fruit juice was delicious
Beautiful and spotless local restaurant, delicious fresh and homemade meals and drinks/teas. Very friendly staff and stunning view! We loved it. Thanks Luci and staff for making this lunch stop an unforgettable experience! Highly recommended
We had an amazingly friendly welcome by Lucy. We arrived late but they still very kindly served us food. Everything was delicious. We ate at the evening but there is a nice view during the day. This is a kindhearted and recommended place. Facilities are clean. Stop by if you can and enjoy their hospitality. I wish they prosper.
Nice little hotel with a very good restaurant and a very friendly team. We really appreciated our short stay. The room are quite big and with a fireplace which is a nice plus (they give you wood to make a fire and you can buy extra wood if you want). The hotel is nicely located on a hill with a partial view on the lake and it’s only 10mn walk from the starting point of the lake hike. Good place to stop in the area. I recommend it
Excellent views (east and west), very good food but a little pricey. Stopped in after some trekking to enjoy the sunset. Each dish was a delight and the view was lovely. Had the tempura vegetables starter, green curry and fried pingala (bananas) for dessert. Also had a nice ginger coffee. Service was good. Good English and very friendly/helpful. You can eat here even if you aren't staying in their guest house

We had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable tour of Bali. Our driver Pandi was not only extremely professional and safe but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. He took us to the most beautiful and hidden spots that we would never have found without him. I was particularly impressed by his knowledge of local culture and history, which he shared with us in an interesting and entertaining way. The entire experience was perfectly organized, from punctuality to flexibility with our wishes and needs. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to discover Bali in an authentic and relaxed way. Thank you for this wonderful time!
I recommend him as we spent a great moment. Really good communication, we received many explanations on Bali culture. We could discover also the Juwak coffee fabrication which was really interesting. It was a nice journey from Munduk to Jatiluwih.
I highly recommand Pandi and Ery ! They are very kindness, smiling and helping people. We have many explanation regarding the waterfall and vegetations / plants in Munduk. They are good drivers and They drive safety. They can also personnalize your trip with what you want to see in good price. If we come back in Bali, we would choose them again. They are 100% trustfull ! Thank you so much for everything ! See you!
Hendry our driver we highly recommend! We used Hendry in Munduk to show us the area & take us to the waterfalls & twin lakes. He is so friendly with a good sense of humour and very respectful. Sometimes drivers can be a bit too forceful or too funny, but not respectful but Henry has this perfect balance . We liked Hendry so much we got him to take us to our next hotel in the Ubud area & then used him the next few days as our driver. He was so useful in helping us choose activities & restaurants. Definitely try the Botanist Restaurant in Munduk which he recommended. If you're in the Munduk area definitely look up Hendry as your driver.
Hendry is the perfect taxi driver! He is punctual, friendly, interesting and he drives very well. He agreed to do us a favor by taking us back to Ubud after Kuningad Day despite the traffic jams and for a very reasonable price (while the other drivers refused). Thanks for everything Hendry ☺️
Hendry was the perfect driver and guide, showing us all the nice spots in the Munduk area such as waterfalls and a local coffee shop and drove us all the long way to Amed . Very comfortable and clean car. On top of that Hendry is extremely kind and helpful on every topic. Can 100% recommend!
Pandi was an amazing driver. Great conversations and willingness to teach us about balinese culture. We appreciate it.
Hendry is a nice driver taking you to the highlights you like to see. In this case the Buddha temple and hot springs. A perfect day.

Excellent place for lunch. Nice view of the waterfall. You do have to walk down and back up a hill. I have a bad hip and am 61 years old. Wasn't a problem.
💸 Entrance Fee: 5/5 ⭐ – Free 🚶‍♂️ Access: 3/5 ⭐ – 4 min walk on a path 🪜 Height: 3/5 ⭐ 💧 Water Flow: 3/5 ⭐ 🌿 Aesthetics: 3/5 ⭐ We rented a car to get here and parked for free right in front of the business marked as "Point 1" on the map. To reach the waterfall, look for a small sign by the road at Point 1 and follow the dirt path down. It’s not very steep, and if you have proper shoes, the walk is quite easy. The waterfall itself is stunning both the height and the water flow are impressive. The fact that it’s free makes the experience even sweeter. If you’re planning a waterfall hiking route covering Red Coral, Belong, Labuhan Kebo, and Melanting, this spot should definitely be your first stop. Walking time between waterfalls ranges from 10 to 15 minutes on average. 📌 One thing to note: Many people upload photos of the wrong waterfalls, which causes confusion. From one location pin, you might see different waterfalls. 📲 For more places we visited in Bali and our full 1-week itinerary, check out our Instagram: @shallwegoo
I’m not sure there is other path to arrive there nearest that the one I took. I walked 1 kilometer go and then back, can go with flip flops, nice walk easy concrete way. There’s a cafe right there. Bring some cash to have a drink or give a donation. Nice fall .
The way to get here was a bit tricky, we parked our bike next to a warung that is on opposite side of the waterfall and went down the hill, we reached the waterfall very fast, but google showed us other ways that we couldn’t find. To get there is free. There is a beautiful caffe with a view on the waterfall. Just like paradise. We were alone there, time was before noon.
Beautiful 4-5 waterfall hike from Eco cafe, Munduk. Lots of stairs and it’s slippery when wet. Worth the 4-5 hrs of hiking to see all the waterfalls. Pictures are from 4 different waterfalls on the hike I did. Highly recommend the hike and the amazing food at the cafe
This is a wonderful, privately owned waterfall and can be easily visited from the car park, or like we did from Red Coral waterfall (send me a message if you want to do all 4 in the area for any advice). Entry is free and a donation can be made. I’d recommend bete week 10-50k per person. There’s an eco cafe so you can have some food and drink with a view of the fall. Such a lovely and peaceful place!!
No cost to see just have donation boxes. Lovely cafe overlooking the waterfall. Relatively easy hike to get to. Toilet access as well. You can hike back the way towards Red Coral Waterfall or there is an option to go right up to the road if you did not drive there on your own.
“A great spot for lunch with a view! I had lunch here, and the food was amazing. The service was good, and the prices were reasonable. Plus, this waterfall is one of the best I’ve seen! Instead of paying 20K for entry, why not support the local kids by eating here and giving a small donation for the waterfall’s maintenance? Just a small tip for the owners—consider improving the street sign for better visibility!”

Thank you for everything 🙏🏽 I had to take the road from Munduk to Banjar Hot Springs then to Amed (3h30) and for sure it was the best moment I’ve ever had. Not just a “driver” but a very confident-person. I feel so safe. We had breaks because of the long road, also had a lunch together in Lovina in front of the beach and it was a very pleasant moment. I learned a lot about the culture and his personal life and experiences. Beautiful mind and I hope we’ll meet us again because everything was unforgettable ✨ see you next time!!!!!!
Surya is an amazing driver and great person. He drove us from Munduk to Sidemen with ease even though the road and weather were sometimes challenging. He also shared with us so much knowledge about Balinese culture it opened our eyes to Balinese daily life and philosophies. Highly recommend!
I had a very enjoyable time in Munduk. Budi collected me from Sanur and drove so expertly that I arranged a tour around several sights in Munduk on another day also. To name a few I saw the Temple, the lakes, spectacular waterfalls, a coffee farm/small holding, spectacular rice fields, monkeys at the forest and enjoyed exploring a local market. I love being able to gain some insight into the culture and will treasure the experiences seeing around gorgeous Munduk. Thank you so much Budi and for ensuring my transfer journey after you dropped me off at Sanur harbour to go to Nusa Lembongan went smoothly. 🙏🏻.
Surya was an amazing driver between Munduk and Sidemen. He shared with us a lot of culture knowledge, was helpful with activities we wanted on the way and recommended us a great restaurant for the lunch. Thank you so much Surya Chris and Lucie

We had Surya as our driver during our trip to Bali, from Ubud to Munduk and later from Munduk to Amed. Ahh, what a place Ulun Danu Temple is! 🌸 I feel a lot of people miss this spot since it’s about an hour’s ride from Ubud central and not overly hyped on Instagram. But believe me, it’s an absolute must-visit when in Bali. The drive itself is beautiful, and once you reach, the entire temple complex and grounds are just stunning. Everything feels serene and picture-perfect. Easy logistics – paid parking & smooth ticketing. Weather drama – it changes every few minutes! One moment it was bright and sunny, and the next it turned misty, foggy, and drizzly. Photography heaven – Balinese gates, lush landscapes, and the iconic temple floating on the lake make for unreal backdrops. There are also nice, reasonably priced restaurants inside the premises, and the washrooms are clean and well-maintained (paid). You can even rent Balinese outfits for a photoshoot — sadly I missed this due to the rain. I loved every bit of it. Tip: Go prepared for sudden weather shifts and give yourself enough time to just soak in the beauty. A must-visit, one of Bali’s gems.
The Ulun Danu Beratan Temple (also known as Pura Ulun Danu Bratan) is widely considered one of Bali's most beautiful and iconic landmarks. It is having stunning natural setting, spiritual significance, and picturesque architecture, though some also note its popularity as a tourist destination. Stunning Location and Scenery: The temple is set on the tranquil shores of Lake Bratan in the cool, misty Bedugul highlands. The multi-tiered shrines (meru) appear to be floating on the water's surface, especially when the lake level is high, making it one of the most photographed spots in Indonesia. Aesthetic and Photogenic: The combination of the temple, the lake's reflection, the lush manicured gardens, and the mountain backdrop creates a truly spectacular and "must-see" visual experience. It's often referred to as the "floating temple of Bali." Spiritual Significance: It is an important Hindu water temple dedicated to Dewi Danu, the goddess of water, rivers, and lakes, and plays a vital role in Bali's traditional *subak* irrigation system. Cooler Weather: Located about 1,200 meters above sea level, the area offers a refreshing break from the heat of the coastal regions. Accessibility: The grounds are generally well-maintained and easy for all types of visitors, including families and older travelers, to explore. Best Time to Visit: To avoid the crowds and the mist/fog that can roll in during the afternoon, it is highly recommended to visit early in the morning (around 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM). This also provides the best lighting for photos. Cash Only:Entrance fees and payments at many local stalls require cash. Boat Rides:For a unique view, visitors can take a traditional boat ride on Lake Beratan. The general consensus is that despite being a popular tourist spot, the sheer beauty of the temple's setting makes it absolutely worth visiting for anyone exploring central Bali.
Our visit to Ulun Danu Beratan Temple was truly a memorable experience. The temple's stunning location on the shores of Lake Beratan offers breathtaking views, especially with the misty mountains in the background. The architecture of the temple is intricate and beautifully preserved, reflecting Balinese culture and spirituality. Walking around the temple complex, I felt a sense of tranquility and reverence. The surrounding gardens are well-maintained and add to the peaceful atmosphere. While the area can get quite crowded, especially during peak hours, it didn’t detract from the overall beauty of the site. The staff was friendly and respectful, and I appreciated the opportunity to learn about the temple’s significance to local Balinese Hindus. One minor downside was the limited shade in some areas, so it’s best to visit early in the morning or later in the afternoon to avoid the heat. Overall, Ulun Danu Beratan is a must-visit destination in Bali, offering both cultural insight and stunning scenery. I would definitely recommend it to anyone exploring Bali's spiritual sites!
Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is one of those places that just takes your breath away. The temples seem to float right on the lake with the mist rolling down from the mountains — it’s picture-perfect. But can be lots of people at various times. The gardens are well maintained and full of colour, with temples, shrines, and statues, and even a quiet Buddhist stupa tucked away in the gardens. . We noticed many people wandering through just taking photos, but not realising how much meaning and history this place holds. Its literally thousands of years old. so crazy. We used the Voicemap app for a self-guided audio tour, and it honestly made such a difference — it explained the stories behind the temples, the goddess of the lake, the central temple story floating in the lake, which is quite amazing, and why this Temple is so important to Balinese life. We would recommend this App if you're travelling without a guide, or if you're guide stays in the car like many do, whilst you walk through. Its so worth it Go early when it’s calm and the light hits the water — it’s just magic. Understanding what you’re seeing makes it all feel even more special. From there we then drove to Jatiluwih Rice Fields which are not far away, so saw two great places in one day.
I visited this place in the afternoon and spent around 2–3 hours there. Out of all the places I visited in Bali, this one truly stood out — it was one of the few that really impressed me. If you have the chance, I genuinely recommend coming here. It’s definitely worth it. I went on a weekday, and although there were people, it wasn’t crowded. It was easy to take photos at different spots without anyone in the background. The entire area is well-maintained and very beautiful. There’s also a small kids’ zoo where, for an additional fee, you can feed the animals. You can even take photos with different reptiles for an extra charge. Overall, I highly recommend visiting — it’s absolutely worth your time.
Ulun Danu Beratan Temple was an okay place to visit. The lake itself is beautiful, especially with the low clouds surrounding it, such a nice, cool atmosphere. Definitely bring a jacket because the weather up here is much cooler and the fresh air feels great. It does get quite crowded, and the overall experience feels a bit less authentic than expected, but the scenery still makes it a pleasant stop if you’re in the area.
My visit to temple in Bali was a pleasant experience. The temple stands on the edge of Lake Beratan in Bedugul and looks like it is floating on the water. Surrounded by green mountains and cool air, the place feels very calm. The temple is dedicated to the goddess of lakes and rivers. Its tall pagoda-style roofs and neat gardens make it very attractive. We also enjoyed the view of the lake. It is a peaceful and must-visit spot in Bali.
One of the most beautiful and iconic landmarks in Bali. Located on the shores of Lake Beratan in Bedugul, this floating temple offers stunning scenery surrounded by cool mountain air and peaceful nature. The temple itself sits partly on the lake, creating a magical reflection that’s perfect for photos. The area is well-maintained, with gardens, statues, and traditional Balinese architecture that showcase the island’s culture and spirituality. It’s best to visit early in the morning when the mist rises over the lake — the atmosphere feels serene and almost mystical. There are also local food stalls, restaurant, souvenir shops. Beautiful lake and mountain backdrop. Peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. Great spot for photography. Cool climate and well-kept gardens. A must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Bali, perfect for culture lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.
