We all had a great time here! Myself and my partner came with our three kids (10, 7 and 2) all had a great time (contrary to my daughters face in the photo) The thing that makes me most nervous about waterparks/theme parks is the queue with children as it can really effect the day. No queue to get in and the maximum we waited was 3-4 minutes to get on a ride so it was perfect. Good mixture of slow rides for everyone and a couple of bigger/faster slides for more thrill seeking people. A few of the food places where shut down so that was limited but we went on a weekday and we went out of peak times so that was to be expected. 100% you need to get discount tickets from a local shop/hotel - they all have them! its not cheap and everywhere you go they are giving away free discounts for 25% each ticket so get them!
I have been visiting Spain for over six years with my family during our summer holidays, and one of the highlights of our trips has always been Aquopolis Costa Daurada. We have always looked forward to coming here, and it has brought us a lot of joy over the years. However, I’ve noticed that the infrastructure and attractions have remained largely unchanged during this time. While the park still offers enjoyable experiences, it feels like there has been little development or innovation in terms of services, facilities, or new attractions. To keep up with modern expectations and continue attracting loyal and new visitors alike, I believe it would be beneficial to consider some updates or improvements. Whether it’s renovating existing areas, adding new features, enhancing customer service, or improving guest comfort—any steps toward development would make a big difference. We truly appreciate the memories we’ve made at Aquopolis Costa Daurada, and we hope to see the park evolve in a positive way in the years to come.
Clean ! This was my first impression, the water was clean not smelling like chlorine, no stinging in eyes 👀 . It’s a bit of a queue on some attractions but the staff is managing it pretty quick . The kids zone if you are with a small child is a bit crouded (normal) , even if your little one cannot swim there are free life-jackets.
Good day out, found this park very well suited for children all ages and adults. Recommend you get there for opening time as it gets a bit busier a couple of hours in. There are ticket deals to be had some with your holiday package and others some with McDonald's buy one get one free we where told this by another family. The price for a family of four we paid around €85. Sun beds you do have to pay i believe this was €7 each. You dont have to have one qe seen many people put a towel on the grass and there was plenty of shade. There are lockers on site wich are chargeable but we didn't use and didn't see we need to so im not sure how much these where. One of the noticeable things we noted there was plenty of lifeguards wich is really important we feel especially with small children. The rides the ones we went on was very good and a good verity, I would recommend do the volcano and black hole early as the ques for these do increase as the day goes on. If you want to maximise your slides I'd recommend a fast pass as these people didn't have to wait 3 to 5 minutes to what we saw. The smaller pool and slides are very good for young ages from baby to 10 years, there is plenty to do in for all. The waiting areas when queuing are well shaded. The food and drink we had was reasonably priced for a theme park. Belived we paid about €8 for a hot dog and it was a about a foot long. There was plenty of choice of fast food, ice cream and drinks. We took our own snacks and drinks in, no one questioned this and we seen plenty of others do the same. Signs and map was clear, plenty of toilets near by. All in all would recommend this place and found it less than half price of there competition near by. You can buy tickets on site or online. The que for buying tickets on site took us about 10 minutes and the staff spoke multiple languages. There are some individual rides and some family rides so all can go together wich is rather nice. Easy walkable from front of La Pinda, there are taxis that can go from out side and prices on the board. The bus stop is near by on the main road. Near by there are some restaurants and some local shops.
This is the best aquatic park of the country for us. We have bene fer almost 6 years and we never get tired of it. This is the last test and the mantainance is not as good as other years. But the security is still perfect. Sad to say that it is the last day we go there, because it will be closed.
A super place to bring the family. But the queues are long (unless you pay for an extortionate speedy pass), and over the years instead of there being new things, there are actually less things to do. A wee revamp and a new slide or two would help. Food seems pricey but the portions we got were good size leaving everyone full.
Great waterpark, good selection of rides. I got a discount for booking online but didn't realise you had to pay for sunbeds etc. worth while just putting towels on the grassy areas for the amount we used them and next time we would definitely take food into the park for lunch. There was a lot of queueing as you queue for the rings to sit on then you queue again for the slide. Overall we had a great day and really enjoyed it and would definitely go back.
It was a nice waterpark. With nice slides for bigger kids and awesome Pools for the smaller kids. Waiting lines for the slides were very long. And you do not know how long it takes before its your turn. At the 'oval-slide' a slide for families where you go in a little boat for 4, we waited 1,5h in line and the slide took not even 30 secconds.

Long sandy Blue Flag Balearic coast beach backed by a palm-lined promenade.
Slide 1 of 8
It's a great yarn with a slow descent to the depths. It is very clean, there are showers and many cafes. When the weather is windy, you can surf. The beach is very long and there are always a lot of people there.
Overall, the beach was average, and unfortunately, in 2025 during our stay, it was under construction. Instead of relaxing by the sea, we had the constant background noise of excavators and diggers, which really ruined the atmosphere. The beach itself was clean in general, but the area around the sunbeds was a different story. It looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time – full of garbage and cigarette butts, even though smoking on the beach is officially forbidden. The sunbeds were another disappointment. At €30 per day for two beds and an umbrella, the price was outrageous – especially considering the condition. In Mallorca, I paid €12.50 for the exact same setup, and it was much better quality. Here, the beds were old and uncomfortable, and the “tables” that came with them were basically useless. I spilled my coffee one day and my beer the next because they were so unstable. Paying €30 for that is honestly a joke. On top of that, the constant harassment from ambulant sellers made it nearly impossible to relax. They were selling everything from towels and sunglasses to perfumes, massages, and hair braids. They were extremely pushy, and you had to refuse them multiple times before they left – only for them to come back again an hour later. I’d say I had to turn them down at least 15 times a day, every day. And if that wasn’t enough, they continued in the evenings on the nearby streets, doing the same routine all over again. All in all, between the construction noise, the overpriced and uncomfortable sunbeds, the lack of cleanliness around the beds, and the relentless sellers, this beach was not the relaxing experience we were hoping for.
A good beach which was clean and with very fine sand. You have to walk quite a way into the water to go in deep so this is great for children. Lifeguards and a beach PA system was in use.
Really lovely beach, very clean and plenty of facilities nearby. Plenty of toilets and showers along the walk way. Has a lot of parks as well on the beachfront. Great view and the sand is pleasant to walk on.
Gorgeous golden sands. Luvly salty water.. take some bread with ya and feed the fish. 2.5km from top to bottom. During day lots off annoying lookie lookie good price sellers won't leave you alone. Lovely place. Bars bins and toilets and showers and no dogs allowed
Spacious beach, and pretty coast line. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby
Sand sculptures at La Pineda Beach. They do these every Christmas to 6 Jan. I think this year was smaller than other years, but still nice to pop over and see them .
Gorgeous clean beach, amazing sea to swim in, very friendly staff in the huts

Amazing and big place
Worst club ever. We had to wait ages to get in. Waitress ignored us for such a long time ( at least 45 minutes) it was outrageous. Overpriced drinks and entrance rate was super high for what it was Dirty rest room Music is really not good Don’t go there
Nice place to spend a party night. Not very expensive.
Amazing beach party by FUNBREAK !!
Too much of crowd... For people who are single and dont have a life
the club it's ok but the workers there are so rude and stupid...
Worst club ever ! If I could, I would not give a single star.
Drinks far too expensive 5€for a beer.

Hotel
Spas & Wellness
Refined hotel offering indoor & outdoor pools, plus a spa, 4 restaurants & 2 bars.
Slide 1 of 8
We’ve just returned from a 10 night stay at the Grand Palas Hotel, and we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, spotless and stylishly modern, each one with a private balcony which was handy for drying towels. They’re also designed in a way to avoid noise from other guests so it was nice and quiet. The outdoor pool areas are brilliant, with plenty of sun loungers available at all times. There’s a great selection of activities too – padel, pétanque, basketball, ping pong and exercise classes. Equipment was always easy to find, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and laid back. We ended up spending all our days by the pool and didn’t feel the need to visit the beach once even though it was right there. The pool bar was excellent, with a great range of branded drinks (like Absolut, Beefeater and Ballantine’s) all included in the all inclusive package. If you’re travelling with a baby, like we were, there’s a lovely shaded area under the trees by the pool which we really appreciated. The restaurant is sleek and modern with a wide variety of fresh, delicious food to choose from. As someone who is gluten free, I was incredibly well looked after – a member of staff would walk me through each dish to let me know what was safe, and gluten free pasta and bread were available on request. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently warm, friendly and helpful. A special mention must go to a few standout team members. In the entertainment team, Alejandro really goes above and beyond to include everyone in the many daily activities and games. His cheerful energy was infectious and it was a joy to see how much the kids adored him during the mini disco. Even in 34 degree heat, he was full of enthusiasm, always smiling, and would happily jump into a game of padel or ping pong if an extra player was needed. He is a true credit to the hotel. Alice and Simon were also fantastic – they ran their sessions like morning fitness and aqua gym with great energy and engagement, and always made guests feel welcome. In the restaurant, Laura and Monica stood out for their friendly and professional manner. Despite how busy they were, they always made time to chat with guests and help with any questions about the food. Most of the hotel guests were French, with many others being Spanish, so the activities tended to be run in French – but we still had lots of fun and found that most staff could speak English well enough to help with anything we needed. If we had to give any feedback at all, it would be that the towels in the rooms were a bit small and thin, hough the bathrobes were a lovely touch. We had a truly special break and would love to return one day.
Worst break I have ever taken. Went for a 3 day break. First day getting out the pool injured myself. The pool ladders are not attached to the wall when I was exiting they moved & I banged my leg on the metal steps. Had go to the bar get ice after I had been to reception to be told email hotel which I did i sat down in pain after taking paracetamol & ibuprofen. Not 1 person came to check on me not 1 email received back so after waiting all day around 5pm I emailed the hotel again. 5 mins later the woman who had told me 2 send the email came to the pool with a random man trying to lie to me saying steps fixed (Laughable) I had been sat there all day unable to move in pain with ice. I explained it was very inconsiderate of them to not even check on me nothing at which point she said oh you can have a free evening meal 😏 I was absolutely gobsmacked told her I didn't need free food. I had paid a extreme amount of money to stay at a luxurious hotel that didn't even have steps attached to the wall. Her reply all pools in spain are like this at this point I told her to go away. I told her i holiday a lot all over the world & have been to various parts of Spain multiple times & this is not standard. Please if your reading this review avoid this hotel. A woman who was at the side of me at the pool also had a very nasty Injury that had happened the day before same thing from leaving the pool on the steps. There are a lot of beautiful hotels around don't waste your money. They don't care
Disappointing Stay – Not a 5-Star Experience We stayed at Hotel Gran Palas Experience in La Pineda expecting a relaxing, high-end getaway, but sadly, the overall experience did not reflect the hotel’s 5-star rating. Check-in was chaotic – our reservation made through Booking.com couldn’t be found at first, and when they eventually located it, we were checked in under a completely different name and even our room card key had other guests name. This is not only unprofessional but also a serious breach of guest privacy. The room was underwhelming – very basic in style, with low-quality amenities that didn’t reflect the standard advertised. There was no pillow menu, no clear information about room service, and the QR code provided never worked. The spa was the only redeeming element – the facilities were nice and well-maintained, though I’ve visited better spas in hotels with fewer stars. Still, it offered a bit of the relaxation we came for. Bar service was particularly disappointing. The staff didn’t seem trained for 5-star service, and the cocktails were poor quality. A piña colada made with syrup instead of real coconut cream says it all. Breakfast was another letdown. The buffet offered cold food, cheap industrial pastries, and extremely limited options for guests with dietary needs – not even proper gluten-free bread was available. It felt more like a budget hotel breakfast than a luxury one. Overall, this hotel has potential but is let down by poor service, poorly trained staff, lack of attention to detail, and facilities that do not meet 5-star standards. We were very disappointed since we expected a totally different experience for a 5 star hotel. We wouldn’t return, nor recommend it unless major improvements are made.
Absolutely horrible experience, THE worst experience I ever had. Booked room for 2 with 3 sleeps. Also paid extra for full board. Last minute change, decided to take a daughter with us. Upon arrival I was told that we can't be in this room. Not enough sleeping places, like What? and I need to pay 200€ extra for her food + extra for her event being in that room. I said cancel my "full board", I don't need money back. They said: "we can't because you booked through Expedia, in order to cancel it even for NO REFUND I need to contact Expedia. And no parking. They have nothing available. So I have to deal with it myself. They don't really care how! Stay away from this place!!! Front desk person is rude and mean "Full board" doesn't include drinks, not even water! Ridiculous place
Just got back from the Gran palas the hotel excellent the staff was brilliant could not false them the dining room staff couldn't do enough for you The only bad thing was the food was always cold. Feel sorry to the restaurant manager every one was complaining to her the false should be the head chef and hotel manager. When we first go to the hotel we booked a accessible room for me the reception person there was no room for us. I am in a wheelchair the room they give was not accessible the bathroom had no rails in the shower and the toilet had no rails. We try to called the Jet 2 rep we couldn't get hold of any for 6 day when told them he informed us they will ring the hotel . They phone us back in half hour and to go to the reception and in form her Jet 2 told us come down and be moved. We got another room which was accessible. The entertainment was all in French the entertainment staff 🤣 wall in French only one of them could only speak English the another five did not bother. I would ot go back to the hotel again a five star hotel with a 2 star food
Went to the reception to check out, rubbing my eyes like I was crying, I said we are leaving and we don’t want to go, they pouted a sad look and said you can come back..whoo hoo is that a promise! Yeah! Great place what a superb stay, food top notch, room top notch, service second to none! Staff fantastic. Am I coming back, you bet I am. All the bad reviews on here are from grifters trying their luck to get a freebie.. it’s sad when you go to a hotel of this quality, have the service of a lifetime and then sad grifters try to spoil the reputation of a great 5* hotel, worthy of great praise, so they can get something for nothing. Dear me! Listen if you want something extra pay for it! We do.. that’s why we have a great experience and the staff are so nice. Not only that, it’s great to say thank you to staff when they work so hard. It puts a smile on their face, try it! You know just as I know, this is one of the best hotels in Spain. Score 100/100.
Great hotel with an excellent restaurant, generously sized pools, and outstanding service. ** This was our third visit, and once again, we had a wonderful experience. For those who’ve never been, there are two main pool areas—one featuring two slides, entertainment, and a pool bar, and another that’s quieter, perfect for those who prefer a more relaxing vibe. The first couple of days are always a bit bumpy for us when settling in. For example, two years ago we were given twin beds after requesting a double, then last year, check-in took longer than expected and unfortunately we missed dinner. This year, the pool bar didn’t serve food for a couple of days due to a menu review. But despite these minor hiccups, the staff have consistently been friendly, solution-oriented, and incredibly helpful. In response to earlier critical reviews from returning guests—yes, things have changed a little. Yes, there has been a business merger, and perhaps that’s why it’s busier during high season. But the level of service and offerings remain excellent! A special shout-out to the staff members who truly made our stay memorable. At the restaurant, Monica, Eva, and Pascual welcomed us each day with genuine warmth. Even during a full house over the weekend, they managed to make our dinners exceptional. The chef continues to serve delicious meals made from freshly sourced ingredients. Alejandro and Valentina brought energy and fun to the pool and evening activities. Thanks to their hard work and sense of humor, we found ourselves joining in—something we normally shy away from. It was great fun! We also appreciated how they continued speaking Spanish after the merger with Club Marmara, while thoughtfully translating everything into fluent French and English. They made every guest—adults and kids alike—feel special and included. Reception staff ensured smooth communication between restaurants, bars, and security to optimize the guest experience. At the bar, special thanks to Liviu, Roger, and Alex for crafting the best cocktails. Yuli and Teo made us feel so at home that we didn’t bother going out—we ended up having lunch daily at the cozy and convenient Lotus Bar. Yuli also makes the best espresso! Lastly, gracias to the cleaning team. We had fresh sheets every day, and they worked quietly, always greeting us with beautiful smiles whenever we crossed paths. The room was consistently neat and tidy when we returned. We will definitely return—and highly recommend this place.
Very disappointed with this hotel. For sure not a 5 star venue. Terrible food, bad drinks, untrained staff, cold pools, everything is an upsell. Rooms also dated, smelly, bad beds, shower broken, mini fridge broken. Dont waste your money

Visited today as we were looking for something to eat that doesn't have a shell or scales... and we were welcomed straight away and offered a place inside as we are traveling with 4 kids. They have loads of seating and air conditioning aswell which is a big bonus in 30 degree heat. The menu for food and drinks was amazing. Once we ordered the food arrived very quickly and was delicious. Krispy kraken burger was huge, chilli fries were also very nice. Kids portions were generous. Also staff very welcoming to the British and speak English very well. Over all if your looking for something that isn't sea food this is a good shout. 10/10
absolutely love this place. the food was great good selection on food aswell 👌 and good selection on drinks . out door seating white tv screens . staff was very helpful and friendly. this place was the start of are day first stop for breakfast and coffee. then was are last stop for beer before we went back to hotel 🏨
We are staying at a nearby resort, so this was a convenient spot to stop in. Over the course of the week, we've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The service was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy a pint and watch sports, this is definitely the place. They have multiple TVs streaming live sports and they are happy to accommodate requests for specific games. If sports isn't your thing, no worries, it's not loud and you can absolutely enjoy a meal without being bombarded by it. Let's talk food. The portion sizes are big and we never left hungry. In fact, most were larger than expected. The prices are very reasonable considering the location. In order of favorites from the menu, our top pick was definitely the Spice Bag. It's not something we've had before, but it sounded interesting so we gave it a try. Wow! Absolutely delicious! 5/5, would recommend this dish. Our 2nd favorite was the burger. Good sized patty, fresh veggies, and cooked through (which is a rarity in Spain). Nothing unique about it, but maybe that's what made it so enjoyable. It was exactly what you'd expect and stayed true to the standard. Sometimes the classic is exactly what you need. Next up, the Breakfast Fry. I ordered the large and it was way more food than I could eat. Great option for a big appetite or to share. For an average appetite, the small is more than enough. Eggs were perfectly cooked and I really enjoyed the hash browns which are hard to find in Spain, so that was a real treat. My one complaint is that the tomato was a whole tomato from a can. Wrong in both flavor and texture in my opinion. Would have certainly preferred a fresh tomato thrown on the grill. 4th place is a toss up between the Fish and Chips, the 1/2 rack of ribs, and the Cottage Pie. All three were good, but some had elements that we weren't expecting. The fish was well cooked and the batter was light and crispy. Overall a lovely dish, but do be aware that it is battered and fried with skin on (one side). I know that's quite common in Spain, but fish skin is one of the few things I just refuse to eat. On grilled fish, I can easily work around it. In order to remove the skin here, I lost 1/2 the batter which was disappointing because aside from the skin, it was a well executed dish.I realize this is a personal preference so I don't fault the restaurant, just making it known in case others reading this have the same aversion. The cottage pie was delicious, but slightly different than any we have had in the past. It tasted as though they used a bolognese sauce which gave it a bit of a tangy flavor. Again, we enjoyed it, but it wasn't the traditional flavor we are accustomed to. The ribs were good and well cooked. They fell right off the bone and the sauce was just the right amount of sweet. The 1/2 rack is a sollid choice for a light meal or a big snack. As Irish Pubs go, this provides everything you would be looking for. Obviously good as we went back repeatedly. All in all, a great place. Have a pint and get the Spice Bag for sure!
Lovely breakfast rashers are the same as home. Remember to ask for cold milk with your tea. Otherwise, they give ya hot milk. Burgers are really good and staff are friendly, they serve coors light and show the gaa
Very good service and food! The food was very delicious. There is a lovely view. And since it is hot outside in summer time it is very nice that there is a conditioner. There is a menu for kids and adults.
Very average expected more , food ok wished there was music Tbone was good Shepherds pie was good
Great atmosphere! Lovely staff. Great pint of Guinness. Breakfast looked good, but I didn't have it.
This is a fantastic place to eat and drink. Friendly staff, great service. Good choice of food which is reasonably priced. We were in all inclusive but still came here regularly. Highly recommend

It's just on the promenade ! You can't miss it. Great service to your table. Lovely cocktails and we will definitely come back.
Great cocktails although the alcohol strength was too high for some in our party. The toilets are disgusting and should be reported
If you’re looking for a quick / cheap drink - this bar is OK ! Great Sangria !
Awesome fun bar to enjoy a party vibe, open late and always great guests with great staff looking after us!
Best cocktails I’ve ever had, worked my way through the menu! Service is amazing as well!
Made our holiday, Great Latin beats, great service from the fantastic staff 👏👍
Typical noisy music 🎶 bar. Over priced because it's on the beach. I asked for a half a beer and a pushy barman poured me a pint. So I drank it and left. Miserable aggressive barmen. My first and last visit.
Cocktails average taste, most of glass filled with ice, not too much to drink. Expected something better for 9Euro.
